it was another fall afternoon, the october weather was at its peak. the golden rays of sunshine seeped through the sheer white curtains and danced across the walls. the huge trees outside swayed with the wind and gently brushed against the glass causing its red, brown, and orange foilage to gracefully fall down on the lawn creating a pile of autumn leave.

“maaatt,” you whine, entering the living space.

your boyfriend, matt, was laying on the couch while watching tv. he turns around to face you, “yeah?”

“nothing.” you mutter, walking in front of him. you gently push his arm off his lap as you straddle his lap.

he chuckles softly as his hands meet your waist, gently caressing your soft and bare, vanilla scented skin with his thumbs. he leans in to press a quick kiss on your lips, “clingy today, huh?”

you hum in response, burying your face in the crook of his neck. the scent of his cologne—cedarwood mixed with a hint of citrus lingered on his cotton shirt, instantly making you feel relaxed. his hands moved to your lower back slowly rubbing it comfortably as he held you close.

you pull away to face him, his icy blue eyes were squinted ever so slighty at how cute you were. the sun’s rays shifted to the two of you as they kissed his face, accentuating his strong features. you smile softly before pressing a kiss to his forehead.

“you’re so cute.” he mumbles, tucking your hair behind your ear.

a light baby pink flush crept onto your cheeks. despite you two being together for more than a year, the butterlies still found a way to your stomach. you thank him for his compliment by peppering his face with soft kisses everywhere.

matt melts at your actions, he loved when you were clingy because that meant he would get more attention than usual, “you just kissed my eye!” he laughs, continuing to delicately stroke your waist.

“don’t care.” you giggle, continuing to overwhelm him with your soft, pink lips that were coated in a thin layer of lip gloss, “i just love you so so much.”

“i love you more, baby.” matt whispers. your contagious giggles brought a smile to his face as you continued to shower him with kisses and love.

Max would often get angry.

More often than he would like it to be. More often than he would want a consuming wave of anger to wash over him, for fury to engulf him and inject its burning venom into his veins. He would get angry over trivial things, get angry over bigger issues either. Anger would truly eat him up every time something didn't go as planned.

However, he tried to fight with his anger and negative emotions at all costs. Instead of processing them, letting go and moving on, he would bottle them up, allowing them to fester and poison his entire being. He preferred to get angry in solitude, where he knew nothing wrong would happen and even if it did, he would be the only one harmed.

Unfortunately, Max found a kind of satisfaction and comfort in hurting others. Emotions dissipated much faster when he could engage in an argument with someone rather than sitting in silence with only his own screams shattering his head.

If Max could have any control over himself and his emotions, he would unplug the anger outburst responsible for explosions of anger like this one.

He didn't hear the insults that left his mouth, didn't hear Christian's shouts telling him to calm down. He didn't feel the strong arms of the mechanics holding him back and pulling him away from Lance Stroll, who sat on the ground with a bleeding nose. In moments like this, Max was guided by nothing but emotions, desperately trying to find any way out.

In moments like this Max knew that to feel relief he had to destroy something. It didn't matter if it was a glass, his shattered fists or the bleeding nose of that Aston Martin dickhead who ruined his entire race.

Many people in his immediate surroundings distinguished the Dutchman before the anger storm and after it. Before it was Max, after it, there was only Verstappen.

Just as Max was the friendly, smiling guy who joyfully congratulated his rivals, willingly gave interviews and joked with team members, Verstappen was a walking hailstorm from which lightning could strike at any moment.

"Fucking idiot."

He growled one last time and walked deeper into the garage, where everyone he encountered averted their gaze and moved out of his way. It was always best to simply get out of Max's way and let him cool down. But no one knew that the fire of anger was just beginning to burn and the epicenter was yet to come.

"What the hell was that, Max?"

Cold water. The hiss of an extinguished fire.

He felt a tightness in his chest upon hearing his father's voice. Jos Verstappen was the only person who could instantly turn his anger into pure, filtered fear.

Max unzipped his racing suit, unable to look his father in the face. He didn't even know what to say. What was there to say either, he had just let his father down. Not for the first time though.

"I asked you a question."

His father's cold, gruff tone cut Max to the core and once again, Max was six years old, stuttering as he explained to his dad why he crashed his go-kart into his friend's. Apologizing and making excuses, saying it wasn't his fault that another seven-year-old cut him off. In his eyes, Max wasn't a grown man with an amazing track record, he was just a brat who needed discipline because he made idiotic mistakes.

His father was about to thunder over him again when the whole stormy situation was suddenly illuminated by a ray of sunshine. Quite literally, as it was Y/N still dressed in her bright McLaren suit, who upon hearing about the commotion in the Aston Martin garage hastily went out to found her friend.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Verstappen, but Max is needed in the studio," she said quickly, grabbing Max's hand "Come on, Max, we need to go."

"We'll come back to this conversation."

His father mumbled under his breath, watching them go.

The girl squeezed her friend's hand tighter and started pulling him in the opposite direction, wanting to get him away from his father as quickly as possible.

"I'm not in the mood for interviews."

"There's no interview; I had to come up with something quickly to get you out of there."

Max stopped, causing Y/N to be pulled back as well. Surprised by his sudden decision, she turned to him with a questioning expression.

"I want to be alone right now, without anyone."

He let go of her hand but she still stubbornly held onto his fingers.

"We both know you don't want to be alone."

Max shook his head in denial. The last thing he wanted was to be in her company right now. He knew that when the commotion and the crowd disappeared, all the emotions would flood over him like a toxic wave.

"You don't understand."

"Yes, I don't understand because you don't give me the chance."

The girl approached him, their bodies only a few inches apart.

"Everything is fine between us only when you're in a good mood. We are really close, we spend time together and we are acting like actual friends. But as soon as something doesn't go your way and your behavior changes, you build a thick wall between us." Y/N looked into his eyes, shaking her head. "Friends don't do that, Max."

"That's what the best friends do," he replied, looking into her eyes. As they were always in the colour of the clear sky, in that moment they were having a storm inside. "The best friends won't drown you in the shit that's swirling through their lives, they won't drag you into their inner conflicts. The best friends won't be a burden to you, you know why? Because they'll just spare you that!"

Y/N embraced him without a word. She hugged him with such force that someone would need chains to pull her away. She had no intention of leaving Max's side, no matter what he was struggling with. She wanted to help him, to be his support and to be the light in his darkest nights. She had no intention of letting him continue to deceive himself with assurances that everything was always perfect. Because life never looks that way.

Adult Max didn't return her embrace, knowing that it was for the best. Adult Max closed his eyes and tilted his head, not wanting to let a single tear escape. He hoped that by remaining distant, by hurting the girl with his indifference, she would let go of him. But Little Max didn't want to make her sad; he wanted to hug his friend and not let her go until everything will be okay again.

"I won't leave you with this, Maxie. If you like it or not."

Maxie.

Lighter.

Explosion.

He exploded in tears without any warning. He sank to his knees and tightly embraced his friend, burying his face in her stomach. Y/N stroked his hair, holding him close. She didn't try to calm him, knowing full well that he just needed to cry. He needed to let out all the sadness, anger, and bitterness that had accumulated in his veins and poisoned him for years.

When the girl kissed his wet cheek, she could swear that it left a bitter taste on her lips.

And it was exactly the venom finally letting him go.

I have never been a morning person, just the thought of having to wake up early makes me want to cry. I applaud the people who wake up early. But when I meet my mate Alec, mornings have officially become my favorite part of the day. What makes it so special, is Alec wakes me up with a fresh cup of coffee that he made just for me. I'm not sure how he picked up on how to make coffee or how to make it how I like it but I guess he really does pay attention to my every move in the mornings.  I have told him before that for me to function as a human I need a cup of coffee or else I will not be a delightful person to be around.

He unfortunately witnessed that side of me and has made it his mission to have that cup of coffee ready for me when I wake up. But that's not what makes it special, when he wakes me up, the first thing I see is his face. He has this small smile and his eyes are full of warmth and love that makes me feel like i'm in a dream still. He's like my personal fallen angel that I have the honor to call mine. 

This morning did not start any differently, the sunlight was gazing on me with its million mini rays hitting my face. I heard a small thud hit my nightstand, and I opened my eyes slightly to be blessed by the sight of my stunning mate looking at me already with his face slightly having that unhuman sparkle. His burgundy eyes also already having that intense but loving look he gives me whenever he looks at me, even if I probably look like crap he never fails to lose that look. 

With his small warming smile already on his face, he again blesses me with his soothing voice “Good morning sunshine, the earth says hello”

I make “grabby hands” toward him and he comes closer to lay on top of me with laying his face on my chest. I bury my face into his hair and mumble groggily 

“Someone’s been paying attention to the movies I make them watch”

He tilted his head up and gave my neck multiple kisses, the temperature difference between his cold lips and my warm skin made me feel that familiar feeling of butterflies fluttering in my stomach. Being like this with him makes me forget there is a real world out there, almost makes me feel like we are the only two people on this planet. These small moments we share I hold dearly to my heart because I am the only person that gets to see Alec in such a vulnerable and relaxed form, not even Jane has seen him like this, the honor I have. While he continues to give me now soft kisses instead of multiple, I run my hands through his dark locks. I'm glad he has kind of long hair so I am able to run my hands through his hair. So soft and silky, makes me slightly jealous he has nicer hair than me but he tells me it's a vampire thing. The way his soft kisses leave me in a state of bliss that makes me mumble nonsense 

“Better than a cup of coffee”

He lifts his face to looks up at me with a pure astonish look and exclaims 

“Are you serious? But you said you always need a cup of coffee to be human”

I pull him into a deep gentle kiss that he reciprocates, I pull away and say with a small sleepy smile 

‘Your my cup of coffee now”

A/N: So cuteeee. I like how I did a little reference of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (2005), its actually my alarm sound 🤭. I just wanted to say that Im working on a Caius one-shot, this one is taking a bit longer to get done because its longer than my usual ones and I was thinking of doing a 2 part to it. But also I have my finals this week so I wont be posting to often, I may have part one of my Caius one-shot out this week but I been having some small difficulties with it and I keep changing my mind in how to write it plus studying keeps me occupied the majority of my day. But I.m happy to have gotten this one out in the open because its so sweet and adorable, I almost made it a Carlisle one-shot but as I kept thinking about this it just screamed Alec.

❥ Gyomei was surprised to know that Mitsuri finally got her own tsugoku. You are very young, friendly, and lively, and he can sense something unique in your aura. Like Mitsuri, you are a ray of sunshine that lights up the room each time you arrive. You always spend time talking to Gyomei whenever you see him, as you are really intrigued by how strong he is. With that, the man had a soft spot for you, as you reminded him of the children that he took under his sleeve a long time ago.

❥ When Gyomei knew that you were able to befriend demons, he was astounded. He couldn't even believe it at first. But then Mitsuri saw it with her own eyes. As much as he wanted to tell you that what you're doing is dangerous, he can't do that. He isn't the person who would make you feel bad just because of his beliefs. So then, he just always makes sure to remind Mitsuri to always look out for you in battles, as sometimes you really tend to be too soft.

"You're really a unique person, Y/N. I believe you'll be a great Love Hashira, someday because of that pure heart of yours."

🌸𝐌𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐨 𝐓𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐨🌸

❥ The boy is just your age, so he really caught your attention when you first met him. You wanted to be friends with him. But it seems like Muichiro doesn't want to, as he is very forgetful. He tends to be nonchalant towards you as well. But that doesn't stop you from making friends. You noticed that Muichiro loves training, so whenever you are free, you make sure to join him.

❥ You have mentioned to him that you can befriend demons, but it seems like he doesn't care at all. He just told you not to do that because it is stupid. Muichiro's straightforwardness meant he didn't care if his words hurt you or not. But still, him constantly reminding you not to befriend demons, even if he is forgetful, made you quite happy. Perhaps the boy just cares.

"I don't know if I have told you this, but what you're doing is stupid. You can't be friends with demons. Demons are meant to be killed. You might just end up dying if you continue this. So, what are we doing again?"

🌸𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐢🌸

❥ Mitsuri loves you so much, as her best friend and as her younger sister. She is incredibly enamoured with your performance as her tsugoku, and she cannot help but guzzle excessively regarding your excellence in Love Breathing. Mitsuri is very happy with how positive you are. She loves the fact that you are very friendly to everyone, as, like she said, you are really worthy of being Love Hashira someday. She never ceases to give you praise, as she really adores you so much.

❥ When she had the chance to witness the seemingly miraculous thing that you can do, she almost fainted. Yes, she was sure she wasn't just getting insane. You can really befriend demons. And those demons turn their backs on other demons and fight for you. She was so proud that she just embraced you in the middle of the fight. But then and there, when you see that your demon friend has died, you can't help but cry.

❥ Whenever this happens, Mitsuri will make sure to comfort you. She can be very clingy, but she just loves you so much.

"Y/N-chan. Everything will be okay. Let's just be thankful to your friends for helping us in the battles. Let's make their sacrifices memorable by perhaps making them a memorial. Don't worry, I understand how you feel! Just tell me what I can do to make you feel better. Okay?"

❥ Kyojuro was so proud of his former tsugoku when she introduced you to him. The Flame Hashira is definitely proud of you too, as he watched you train with Mitsuri. You're very friendly towards Kyojuro; thus, he acts as your big brother. He always takes you out to eat with him, and yes! You love food as much as he and Mitsuri love it. You're so close with the Flame Hashira that you seem to have a second family because of him and Mitsuri.

❥ Kyojuro knew that you could befriend demons from Mitsuri. He was very shocked, but then worried. But then, Kyojuro believes in you, so he just constantly reminds you to take care. Little did you know that, like Gyomei, the Flame Hashira always makes sure that you are being looked after by Mitsuri. He just cares about you so much.

"I'm so proud of you, Y/N-chan! You've really become a great demon slayer so fast! Just always take care, okay? I believe in you!"

🌸𝐆𝐢𝐲𝐮 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐨𝐤𝐚🌸

❥ Like Muichiro, Giyu Tomioka acts so nonchalant around you. The Water Hashira is so distant that he tries his best to avoid you because of your friendliness. But, of course, no one can stop you. When you manage to get ahold of the man, you always try to make a conversation, telling him that he is very enigmatic. That will fluster the man, so yes, in just a blink of an eye, he will disappear again.

❥ Giyu knew that you could befriend demons, and so that piqued his interest. That's because of Nezuko. Since that time, you have noticed that Giyu will try his best to talk to you and ask you about how you can do that. He seems so amazed, but of course he won't show it to you. Like an older brother, though, he will remind you to use your sword if you really need it. Yes, Giyu had a soft spot for you as well because of your kindness.

"Glad to know that your friendliness can help you in battles. You should take care, though. Use your sword whenever you need to."

🌸𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐮 𝐊𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐨🌸

❥ You amazed Shinobu. She liked your company. It's just that your aura reminds her of her older sister, Kanae, even if you are years younger than her. Because of your niceness, the hidden anger in Shinobu's heart seems to slowly melt. She treats you like her sister, like Mitsuri. Sometimes, she even teaches you about medicines, which eventually becomes your bond.

❥ When Shinobu learned about your ability to befriend demons, she wanted to learn more. She's very curious about this, so she tends to ask a lot. The insect Hashira even accompanied you on your mission one time just to witness it. She couldn't hide the surprise on her face when you did it. But, of course, when she saw you sad, she acted as kind as Mitsuri and just embraced you. She is not just good with her words, so she tends to sound awkward when comforting you. But yes, she really cares.

"Shush, Y/N-chan. Everything will be okay. Those demons are surely thankful to see such a kind soul before they... Don't be sad, okay?"

🌸𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐔𝐳𝐮𝐢🌸

❥ Tengen finds it flashy to know that you are Mitsuri's tsugoku. He's amazed at how you do the Love Breathing. Sometimes, he will be present at your trainings at the Rengoku estate. You are very nice to Tengen and his wives. Of course, Suma is obsessed with you. So then, the Sound Hashira finds your positivity so nice.

❥ When Tengen knew that you could befriend demons, he was astounded. As much as he wanted to disagree with what you're doing, Kyojuro would always tell him to stop and be nice to you. And so, Tengen didn't meddle with your business, but as your friend, he still teaches you some techniques you can use to fight. He's not the one who'll constantly remind you of things, but the man makes sure he shows he cares by being your pseudo-trainer if needed.

"Uhh, that's flashy, Y/N-chan. Um, you want to learn more about how you can improve your stance? You're already flamboyant with your ability and stuff, but we got to have plan B in case, kid!"

🌸𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐳𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚🌸

❥ Sanemi's not very nice to you, and you can sense that he doesn't like you around. But then, you try your best to talk to him. But he still sees you as a pesky kid. But in reality, your niceness reminds him of Genya; that's why he avoids you so much.

❥ The moment that the man really spoke to you was when he learned about your ability to befriend demons. He looked annoyed and unamazed, but he still approached you to tell you that.

"Dimwit, I don't know, but in case you don't know, demons are enemies. Stop befriending them and shit. Don't be an idiot like Kanroji." You start tearing up. "I mean... uh fuck. Just be safe out there. Bye."

🌸𝐎𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐢 𝐈𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐨🌸

❥ Obanai would never act mean to you, even if he isn't comfortable with your presence. Mitsuri means a lot to him, and so he tried his best to be quite nice and approachable to you. Sometimes, Sanemi would end up cursing him, but he'd just shoot him a glare to shoo him away. He's quite aware that Sanemi scares you after that encounter with him. But sometimes, he unconsciously acts like a big brother to you, caring like he cares for Mitsuri. He won't just admit it anyway.

❥ The Snake Hashira doesn't agree with the fact that you are befriending demons. But then he tries his best to understand it, as he doesn't want you and Mitsuri to feel bad. Obanai would sometimes remind you that you should not trust too much. He also reminds you not to make Mitsuri cry, so you shouldn't die.

"Don't trust too much. Not all friends are really friends. You should still be cautious about what you are doing, Y/N. Don't make Mitsuri cry, so don't die, kid."

I opened my eyes and looked at the rays of sunshine that peaked through the curtains. I squinted my eyes and put my hand over my eyes. I looked over to my side to see alex. He was lying there peacefully, his arms warped around my waist as if he were to let go, I would leave him to lie here alone. I turned my body to face him and looked at his messy hair going all over his face.

I looked over to the clock and saw that it was already 6:56. My work started at 8:00. I only had an hour to get ready. I tried to get up, but something or someone was stopping me from getting out of bed. I looked down at my waist and saw Alex's arms still wrapped around my waist. "Nooo, don't go." "I have to, or im gonna be late," I felt as his arms griped my waist tighter. I tapped his arms and turned my head to look at alex. He was looking back up at me with a small pout tugging on his lips. "No" "i have work" "few more minutes"

I sighed and put my hand down to go through his silky black hair"Fine" I layed back down facing alex who now had ear to ear grin. I giggled as he pulled me into his chest. We laid there for few minutes, legs interlocked, and his hand softly going through my hair. I looked back at the clock, it was now 7:01 "babe can you let go I need go get ready" "hmmm" I tired to get up but to no avail " baby I gonna be late, I need to get ready" " just call your boss and tell her your not coming, I'm sure she'll understand that your boyfriend needs you" I chuckled softly at his statement.

"You need a break, and your boyfriend will do that for you." "bab-," "No," he sat up and put his head in the crook of my neck. "Just stay for a little longer... just this once"

He could be very serious at times but when you get to know him, he’s a ray of sunshine.

His smile brights up the whole place, and his laugh is contagious.

When he’s serious he looks a little intimidating, but he’s just like that.

Sometimes he misses ice skating, and remembers it so dearly when he dances. Remembering how he moved with the ice skates so skillfully.

Like a majority of his life, Copia finds himself once more at his desk as the sun rises. The rays sifting through the blinds, forcing him to squint as they reflect off his reading glasses. Work is and will always be apart of his life. Copia finds that his mind is more at ease if he has something to focus on and paperwork is a great way to do that. Especially considering he has piles upon piles of it. After his ascension there had been talk of hiring another Cardinal to take his place but it had never panned out. Imperator had spoken of how no one could possibly fill his place and apparently that had been the end of it and Copia had been strapped with the extra work. 

With a heavy sigh, he tosses his glasses onto the desk as he pinches the bridge of his nose. He’s been at it so long that his vision is starting to blur. A sure sign that it’s time to fucking sleep. But he’s gone longer than a day without sleep before so he knows it’s not too serious yet. 

His back pops (a little too loudly if he’s honest with himself) as he stretches his arms above his head. The quiet of his office is abruptly interrupted as his door is shoved open so hard it hits the wall. Copia winces slightly at the noise as his eldest daughter gives him a smile that says “sorry about that but this is super important. More important than your door.” For extra measure the youngest gives it another hard shove and watches it bounce off the wall before turning to her sister with a proud look of triumph. 

“Papa!” The eldest, Athaliah, comes jumping toward him. Copia watches as the contents on the tray she carries fly every which way. It’s only once it’s sit in front of him that he takes into account a half (if it can even be called that) cup of coffee, its contents swimming within the tray, and a plate with what looks to be eggs and toast, only they’re burnt. Like really burnt. Like really really burnt.

“Sunshine helped us!” She beams up at him. The expression he gives must explain his confusion because her tiny brow furrows in frustration. “It’s father’s day.” She places her hands on her hips, much like she’s seen him do when scolding a wild ghoul. Her younger sister comes to stand beside her, mimicking her stance and expression.

“Oh!” It takes his brain longer than he’d like to admit for it to click in his brain. After six years you’d think one would finally be accustomed to a day that is apparently dedicated all to them. Never having celebrated it before just proves old habits are hard to break in Copia’s opinion. It’s only when their glares don’t dissipate that he realizes he’s expected to eat the burnt meal before him. Any sane person would play if off with an “oh I can’t eat this master piece! But thank you so much!” Copia has never claimed to be sane and he’s eaten far worse things than some burnt food. Besides the toast is saturated with half of the coffee that’s spilt, making it less hard to chew he notes as he takes a much larger bite than any normal person would. “Perfetto!” He announces as he scoops the youngest up to sit on his lap. Unlike her sister, seeming to have grown tired of staring at him like a child.

Athaliah drops the façade and bounces forward. “We got up extra early to make it.”

“Extra early.” Her little sister mimics as she looks up at Copia.

“Hmm.” Copia finishes his first piece of toast and starts in on the second. Honestly it’s not that bad. Or maybe it’s because he hasn’t eaten in --- well, he can’t really remember the last time he at.  He washes it down with a drink from the half filled coffee mug. The coffee is extremally strong and for that Copia’s grateful. If it was sweetened to the normal way he drinks it, chances are he’d be fast asleep. “It definitely shows.” 

She beams up at him with nothing but pure adoration. “Sunshine said it was a little too burnt but I told her you’d like it anyway and I was right!” She latches onto his free arm and Copia quickly wraps it around her. 

“Piccola topo, you don’t need to make me anything.” He laughs but stops when he notes how her expression has darkened. “Eh?”

“You do everything for everyone else. We can make you breakfast.”

Copia winces inwardly. Ah, so they had noticed how much time he spent running himself ragged for the clergy. “I appreciate it but having the both of you around is more than enough for me.” He smiles.

She nods, seemingly accepting of this but bursts out a moment later. “Oh! Once you’re finished you have to see what the rats got you!”

Copia laughs nervously at that. Something tells him it’s going to be a very entertaining day.

you are a kind and a very much positive person, hanging around you will make anyone happy without they even realized, but not many people know about that.

everyone around you always has an opinions that you are an intimidating or a rude person without even trying to get to know you first but at the same time you arent suprised you do look quiet and cold most of the time.

getting seen that way by people around you makes you doesnt expect someone to like or have a crush on you.

but little do you know there is one person who likes you... And that person its none of other than the youngest member of Valkyrie "mika kagehira"

you're not very close to him but since you have a very much connection with shu you decided to be more open to him.

The more open you to him, the more he start to realized the rumor he heard from his clasamate was so wrong!, you are actually cheerfull and a sweetheart.

but as time goes on , the more you two spend time together makes him slowly feel something he never felt. At first Mika only thought it was just an admiration.

but after he told a friend named Arashi, his friend immediately said that it was not just an admiration , and explain how the feeling he felt was there beacuse he got a crush on you!.

he was a bit shocked and start to overthink about it, making himself lose focus while doing his routine even when sewing.

every time you and him suddenly bump into eachothers you guys will have a little conversation before it end up with you both hanging out together.

And thats moment he spend with you makes him very happy , Your figure who always shines by his side always make his heart melts. Just like a chocolate that get melted by the sun.

When he get a little more distant from you, you always notice it honestly it makes you very confused all the time, did you do something wrong ? Is he mad at you?

even though all that happened not because you did something, but it happened because of Mika himself.

every time he catch his eyes on you, he always lost focus and doesn't know what to do...he doesn't want you to see him doing something stupid.. And decided to stay away from you until he can become normal when he is near you again!

even of how hard he try to stay away from you somehow you and him always cross paths like fate wants you both to be together, and everytime before a words came out of your mouth you can see his face red just like he was burning and was about to faint on the spot.

but all of that won't happen again because in this month , this week, this day , after school he will tell you all the feelings that he hides all this time and hoping by being honest will help him stop being so stupid and clumsy around you.

well, that was the original plan until something happened...

today shu can't attend to school because he fell ill and with that Mika went to school alone but Before he left, Shu told him to continue with the clothes he was sewing, Mika was a little scared because he wasn't thst good at sewing after all.

but Shu then explain that he had already called someone to help him later, the person would come to the handicraft club room at lunch time.

and when lunch time finally arrived. he walked into the handicraft room thinking that he was safe and didn't have to worry about staying away from you.

because there was no way you would go here. with Shu not attending school thats mean you will not have any bussiness here anyways.

He opened the door slowly, thinking the person behind the door was Kuro but he was wrong, it turns out that the person Shu called is the person he was avoiding..

You can be seen holding some fabric in your Hands as you put them on the table beside the little supply box.

Mika who doesnt expect you to be here was frozen on the spot, until he heard a called of his name out of your mouth. oh no... you already have noticed he is dare there is no way he can get away now!

he finally approached you slowly and stood next to you. he can also notice you are talking but he doesn't pay attention to your words and just stares at you until you wave your arm in front of his eyes.

he came back to reality and looked at the fabric followed by the sewing tool beside it. He can see you taking a seat on one of the chair and start sewing again.

he decided to take a seat too and start sewing the cloth, the room was silent the only sound that can be heard when you're taking some material for the clothes.

as he was sewing he cant help but take one little peek of how you were doing... a one little peek turn into two, two turn into three , three turn into four, and four turn into him hurting his hand for not paying attention when sewing.

"Ngah!", he whined when the needle hit his finger, when you heard him you went straight to him and held his hand.

You start to carres his hand a little while looking for the finger that was hurt by the needle while asking if he was okay.

He didn't pay attention to what you was saying, he just stared at his hand that was clasped by you, he forced himself to stay calm and not do anything stupid. You call his name again and he immediately shakes his head and replies that he's okay.

You sigh in relief when suddenly the idea of ​​asking why he seems a bit distant from you pops into your mind.

as he was about to continue sewing, you stop him and ask, "You've been avoiding me lately, have I done something wrong?" he looked down as if he was holding himself back.

You get worried and hold both of his hand him, he cant can't hold back anymore. he looked into your eyes followed as the word "i-love you" Coming out of himself.

You are shocked by the sudden confession and just stay silent till you see tears coming out of his eyes.

"Im sorry-", he apologize. "For what?", you ask him.

"Well you doesnt love-" " I love you too mika, I really do" , he was cut off by you answering his conffesion.

he felt he had melted on the spot! with you who already melt him earlier and followed by you saying that you love him to also affect him the "chocolate" that already melts into a hotter melted chocolate.

after a while he immediately hugged you suddenly and you gladly accepted him in your arms.

in the end he can finally let out all of his feelings and even better it turns out that you also love's him make him happy...

Looks like he won't let go of his hug soon so make sure you're strong enough to hold him for a long time.

LBFAD rewatch observations part 5

1. Shangque is so pure and straightforward.

2. The way DFQC immediately latches onto any explanation of XLH's behavior of saving him. When Shangque says "she had an opportunity to escape but she gave it up to save you. It shows that..." and DFQC eagerly turns to him and says "shows that?" like yesss please?!?! tell me what does this mean?!?!? someone! anyone! And then immediately rejects the idea of "she's becoming a loyal subject like me!"

3. No words for how beautifully soft that petal shower scene is. Her joy and his smile. 🥺

4. The great Dongfang Qincang and his weakness for Flower Cakes made by his wife.

5. "Damutou is more intimate" !! 🤝🏼 "You can call me whatever you want" !! 🙃🙃🙃🥺

6. Man. Dylan Wang's acting in that "high on XLH's emotions" scene was soooo goood. The tortured joy where he is laughing but you also see his frustration. The angry sadness where you can see him crying but also the rage. His shaking hands as he grabs the Jade Ring and the deep breaths to ground himself. Oof. *Chefs kisses*

7. Also can we just talk about the multiple times he has made a fool of himself in front of his advisors because of her shenanigans but like....it never impacted his reign. They just figured out logical explanations and kind of just went with it... (excluding Xunfeng ofcourse because he actually can and does question DFQC). Like his advisors must be having headaches from the whiplash of emotions he gave them 😆

8. Sulking DFQC and coaxing XLH are the cutest. Ignoring her as they leave the pond illusion. The way he is shaking as he tells her she could have died if he didn't come on time and that she has to stay within his sight always. Her offering up the Destiny Book to please him. His disgruntled "oh so you fixed it right away for Changheng, I see how it is" her "ah but you know what saved me! This little inside thing that only you and I know!". And then finally him easing off and telling her "I would find you anywhere" and her teary eyed "My master who was the dearest person to me said the same thing and you...." All the little ways these two say "I love you I love you" without yet realizing that they do.

9. HIS HANDS. When she passes out and he catches her. His hands just rubbing her shoulder out of affection, concern, the need to feel she is still here alive with him. Ahh. That subtle movement 👌. (Also. Her just passing out from the exertion of her powers and maybeee from the almost realization that this menace of a king, the great Moon Supreme, might also be someone very dear to her. Like yes gurl I too would just pass out on the brink of such a realization)

10. "Are you still angry?" *cute little smile* "No" *sulk* "Yes you are" *pout*... "Damutou, I'm soooryy" *big puppy eyes* "Eat." *melted under the ray of her sunshine*. THE CUTEST BABIESS. (I love that she apologizes. Despite the fact that her intentions had never been to run but she acknowledges that she put him in a bad situation. That she sees how much this upset him and she is sorry for that.)

13. DFQC is such a heavy full of depth and compelling character and I just love Dylan Wang's portrayal and I just--- gahhh! *muffled screams*

14. I don't think I can express in words how much I love the scene of DFQC turning away from XLH while he weeps and then turning and collapsing into her. It is art. It is poetry. It is EVERYTHING. Dylan Wang's acting my god. The pain the sorrow the need for comfort its all so beautifully expressed on his face. XLH's tears and pain for him. The hands. Ofcourse the hands 😭😭 Also. XLH refusing to give up until she found the thorn pricking at him and pulled it out so he could heal. I love her. For seeing the pain and anger buried in him and saying "something here is not right. His reputation as a terrible monster who slaughters his family is wrong. I will figure this out and I will help him however I can" and then doing it! Refusing to back down even at the last minute when he says it isn't her place to ask! Being there for him as he goes through the grieiving process. Fiercely defending him against everyone who dares to say he is heartless. God. I love them both.

15. Head empty no thoughts just DFQC's little hand gesture stopping XLH in her tracks before she can come to stop him from taking the lightening strikes.

16. DFQC asking her to teach him how to be warm towards people because no one ever taught him that 😭😭

Her teaching him how to smile by showing it to him and then suggesting to also "hug" Xunfeng and his love adled brain IMMEDIATELY going "How?" *puppy eyes* and her immediately almost folding him into a hug but just barely stopping herself! You cannot tell me he did not know that would happen. He definitely knew she would "show" not "tell" and most definitely wanted her to hug him. We already seen him be sneaky as heck when telling her "No I am still weak I neeeeed you to help me walk" when it was straight up nonsense 😄 Even adding little fake coughs to convince her. I love me a sneaky husband who tries to coax more love out of his wife.

18. "This is the first time I have ever thanked a person. Don't refuse me." 😭🥲

That entire interaction of theirs is so giggle inducingly cute like omg the smiles they can barely contain the teasing "are my flower cakes ready?" "did you finish your medicine" "its too bitter *pout* but I did it, not a single drop left! *satisfied smirk*" AAHAHHHHHHHH but this line !! "Don't refuse me" !! Don't take this moment from me! Just let me adore youuuuuuuuu!!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed it <3! Thank you! I don't often write fight scenes, but when I do I try to make them interesting haha ^^ I actually was googling all over the place trying to think of interesting animals to use for the reader! I'm a sucker for that trope too, which was a big motivation for me writing that whole fight scene in the first place HAHA I almost didn't put that patching up scene purely because I've been doing that trope recently (ex: Liu Kang last chapter) and I was worried it would stale BUT I kept it in because I've already established since like, chapter 2 that the reader patching up Bi-Han is their thing so I thought it'd be weird for the reader to not tend to his wounds. I've never viewed them as that trope, but I can totally see it! Yeah I wanted to write Kuai Liang worried over his brother because in the intros he mentions they had a bond but I felt like we never got to really see it in the story? So I wanted to add it in myself HAHA especially since Kuai Liang's ending in Mk11 focused on saving Bi-Han from corruption in the first place. Bi-Han definitely has a soft spot, even if he would not outright admit it (for now?) It'll be interesting to see what everyone will think when I progress through the plans I have involving Bi-Han! I have a very strong idea of what the future dynamic between him and the reader will be like, as well as Bi-Han's plot in general 👀 I'm glad to hear you're so invested!

I love Madam Bo!! Madam Bo kameo when?? Or even her as a main fighter?? Haha She is definitely one of my favorites, and I had to implement her a bit in my story! Yeah I took inspiration from Bo Rai' Cho for that, though I do know in game they mention it is more like ?? Drugs?? They're kinda vague with what her special tea does but it messes people up that's for sure ☠ Yeah the divorce scene was one of the first ideas I had for this fic and something I've been planning on writing! I always wanted to go into depth on what I felt like was something that was kinda glossed over in the story. Originally the reader was supposed to just stumble upon Johnny brooding outside over his ex, but I figured it made more sense with how the reader ended up being like for the reader to initiate a conversation about it. I also wanted to do it because I felt like this conversation was a bit of a turning point for the reader and Johnny, so yeah!

yeah, i only ever read gil’s compliments as being purely impressed and appreciative, never attracted. but then when hikari copies him, suddenly it’s read as romantic attraction?! i will never understand these things. but again, i’m biased lmao

i loved their shared path, i found it super cute and i love the idea of this incredibly sweet dancing girl helping guide hikari through the losses his kingdom suffered. the memorial in ku was delightful to watch. this is why i’m of the opinion that forcing romance between them actively takes away from both of their characters, because it stops those individual traits from shining.

i don’t really ship anyone else in octo2, i love temehika because i adore the dynamic of ‘guy who has unwavering loyalty and trust in those around him’ with ‘guy who doubts everything and is constantly scrutinising their partner’s friends behind their back’. you’re the one who introduced me to agnea/throné, i hadn’t considered it before but i do love a good ‘Ray Of Sunshine meets Dark Shadowed Past and they go shopping together’ vibe, so i’ve decided i support that ship too now. thanks for that one!!

no worries! i wish there was someone more qualified to talk about the differences between the english and japanese versions because there are quite a few (some i'm ok with, others.... not so much) but some of them feel like a genuine detriment to play without knowing the original so i want to share them if i can!!

yeah it's...... a little iffy that people would read hikari's compliment as purely romantic because that would imply that gil is giving the same vibe and i read agnea's response as more like shock that someone as serious as hikari would say something like that to her...

i have a very mixed opinion about their crossed paths story unfortunately 😭 i really like the story itself, but i wish agnea had a more significant part in it... compared to the other stories that feel like they brought out the characteristics of each character more, i feel like agnea was mostly reduced to a bystander in hikari and yomi's story... i wish they got to touch on her grief over her mother or something at least o<-<

AHH temehika's dynamic really is so underrated, they have such strong themes of trust and doubt and i'm a bit sad their banters didn't touch on this more... we got a smidgen in hikari's ch.4 where temenos warns him about rai mei's possible loyalties but it's not enough...! not to mention the fact that they're connected to oboro and arcanette, the most major figures in the moonshade order... i don't really like the idea of octopath making certain protagonists more "important" than the others but i find it really hard to deny for these two lmao

agnene is also extremely underrated!! i think agnea's admiration of throne helps show her that she isn't who she thinks she is:

while in throne's stories, she slowly grows to lean on agnea's attempts to make her feel better... it's really sweet and i don't think either of them have this kind of connection with anyone else...!

it's also very cute how agnea invites throne to meet her father as well as to her hometown's raspberry festival... i think their paths post-canon also align very nicely because throne said she wanted to travel somewhere far away, while agnea wants to bring smiles to as many people as possible... it also makes for a very nice "celebrity and bodyguard" dynamic that mirrors dolcinaea and veronica's and it really suits these two imo!!

i also don't like teme/thro as a romantic relationship so i think their interactions as well as hika/agne's fit much better under the assumption of temehika and agnene... we see hikari's admiration of temenos' intelligence in his ch.5 banter where he compares temenos to kazan so i think both he and agnea have a sense of admiration for their older partners while also doing whatever they can to support them... (hikari with his blade, and agnea with her performances) meanwhile temenos and throne also feel undeserving of their partners because they view them as a light they're too afraid to reach out to... it's subtler, but i like temenos' banters with her where he tries to reassure her that she's a good person as well

phew this got REALLY long i'm sorry but yeah while i always tend to go against popular ships, i've been really frustrated at the extent of it in octopath 2... octopath is pretty unique in that all of the protagonists get more or less the same amount of (small) interactions throughout the game but that was changed in 2 with the addition of crossed paths and i'm not sure why hika/agne is the one that stuck because their story does not read to me as romantic at all lmao but i'm glad to find people who share those gripes as well!!

i think it says a lot how temehika and agnene's post-canon lives align together very nicely because hikari and agnea's goals respectively are much more defined while temenos and throne are more equipped to take a more supportive role... (crying) i just really like them

Vash and his personality are so complicated. The way he switches between trying to make everyone laugh to trying to hold himself together with what little mental sanity he has left. When hes silly goofy hes a pure ray of sunshine but when the weight of the world is on his shoulders I want to hold him and tell him its all okay...........

He's probably too overprotective but he is also much softer and freer. He's more willing to just be himself, not overly happy but down drowning in despair. I let him have a place where he can just be Vash with no strings attached.
