Story time! (Welcome to "Hyper answers asks like an old lady going on an hour long barely-on-topic tangent at the slightest prompting.)

I totally get where you're coming from, I was raised in like...knockoff Southern Baptist churches. Growing up, homosexuality was presented to me as a sexual perversion incapable of involving real love. It's kind of silly, but it's true: a ship was a big part of changing that for me. I read Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle as a teenager, and Kurogane and Fai had something that was inescapably romantic and beautiful but never strictly sexual (tho the potential is certainly there). Between that and an online community of LGBTQ+ adults who were incredibly patient and kind towards me even when I was suuuuper ignorant, I started to open up towards queer relationships as...well, just relationships. Relationships that can encompass sex and also encompass love and friendship and communication and partnership and all those other things I'd been taught were exclusive to monogamous straight people. And then, even as terrified as I was, I was eventually able to face the fact that I'd always had crushes on girls just as often as crushes on guys. So yeah, there's a reason Kurofai is my ship of all ships, the actual One True Pairing for me. Because it cracked open a door just enough that I could slowly lever it open the rest of the way. There seem to be quite a lot of anecdotes like this: women enjoying BL/mlm ships is often seen as fetishy (which can certainly be part of it) but for some reason I can't fully articulate it also seems to sometimes be a means for girls and women to explore their own not-straightness.

ANYWAY. SHERLOCK HOLMES. Tbh I'm not gonna go too in-depth because I would bet good money that there are a bunch of scholarly articles on Holmes' queerness. People have probably done their doctorate theses on this! Much smarter and more well-read folks than I have already covered the topic. For me, it really boils down to: he never outright expresses sexual or romantic interest in anyone (we must resist the urge to assume his respect for Irene Adler is romantic just because he is a man and she is a woman). He's almost certainly on the asexual spectrum. But when he does exhibit symptoms one might associate with romantic and/or sexual interest (particularly romantic, imo), it's always towards men (usually Watson, of course). For example, notable flirt John Watson saying that Holmes blushes at his compliments the way a girl does is...suggestive.

The whole thing is complicated by Watson being (in my opinion at least) an unreliable and sometimes downright petty narrator. He keeps going on spiels about Holmes being cold and heartless, only to turn around and describe him greeting his friends warmly and being emotionally moved by music and baby-talking puppies and charming old ladies. It makes Watson sometimes come across as one of those allo people who are so unable to conceive of a life without romantic and/or sexual desire that they start dehumanizing those who don't experience it. But ultimately...do I think Arthur Conan Doyle sat down at a desk in the late 19th century/early 20th century and was like "I am going to write some ace queer representation for the tumblr girlies (gn)"? Obviously not. 😅 I do think he might have set out to create a character who very deliberately did not need to have the otherwise almost obligatory straight romantic side-plot. Holmes is never in any way set up as having a life headed towards marriage and children, in spite of how typical that was for the time. The companionship he does express a need and desire for comes in the form of another man. He's "lost without [his] Boswell." He sneakily buys Watson's practice out from under him so he'll be free to move back in and go on more adventures with him. He threatens violence when Watson is hurt. Etc etc. I think it's very fair to interpret it all through a queer lens, the quibble would be more in whether that queerness ever manifests sexually.

I definitely think the Yuumori creators have not only read ACD but also other fiction based on the stories, possibly even including some very old pastiches like this one. I love how seemingly nerdy they are about it haha! The series is full of easter eggs and callouts to other Holmesian works.

As for Poirot, I know very little about the character beyond a few episodes of the show I watched as a young'un, but that is not the mustache of a straight man (I'm joking I'm joking I have absolutely no opinion on that one! 🤣)

FYI: I do know that the story is not exactly correct to the original ways that things happen at the awards show, but I had to change the story up to make it work :)

Angsty with a fluffy ending <3

You lifted your hand to wave at the crowd in front of you and smiled to yourself as you saw all the fan made signs waving in the air.

Tonight was a big night, the one and only MAMA awards. Every group known in the industry were out, all dressed head to toe in beautiful custom clothes made only for this event.

You were currently sat in the middle of your group Xscape, which was made up of 6 girls including yourself. Tonight was a big night for you all as you had been nominated for several awards, which caused nerves and butterflies to swim through your stomach.

The flashing camera's pulls you out from your thoughts as you take another look around the room. Though you didn't want to seem big headed, you knew that all eyes were on your group tonight. Not only had you risen up quickly through the ranks to have a stream of number 1 hits throughout the music charts, but your relationship with another idol had recently went public.

You initially told yourself that you would not be dating, not at least in the beginning of your career. You wanted to focus on your music, but you did not expect the Exo leader to walk into your life and whisk you off your feet.

Both Suho's group and your own were both signed under the same label so you were bound to bump into each other at some point and once you finally did, you couldn't believe how much you had in common. It didn't take long for your relationship to surpass the friend zone and turn into something wonderful. You felt so comfortable with each other, it was like you were always meant to meet.

Sadly it didn't take long for the news to break into the outside world and though a lot of people supported your relationship, there was many haters spreading negative energy online but neither of that let it get you down and you are now 6 months into your relationship together.

Before you could think any further, music starts loudly playing causing the entire stadium to erupt into cheers as the hosts made their way on stage. Though you were nominated for several awards tonight, you only had one in your sight...'Best new Artist'. It would be an honour to win an award that is known for picking the next big thing in the world of Korean music. All the biggest artists right now had won this award and it would mean so much to you, if your group could follow in their footsteps.

You look over to where Exo are sat, taking in your boyfriends features in the hopes it would calm your nerves. He seems lost in thought himself, occasionally stretching his neck or talking to one of his members, so he doesn't really look your way. 'He must be tired' you thought to yourself, shuffling in your seat.

As the awards continued, the next award for 'Best music video" was called out to a highly respected group in the industry.

"Red Velvet" the host cheered as the girls made their way up to collect their award. Your group stood up and clapped as their song 'Russian Roulette' played loudly.

The on stage screen showed many idols smiling or clapping along to the song and the camera man panned around to capture it all.

Suddenly laughter erupted around you as you realise your boyfriends face is on the screen in front of you and he is dancing along passionately to every step without any mistakes. You smile to yourself at his sudden outburst of energy and watch Chanyeol pull him into his seat as the group start their acceptance speech.

"Now for the next award" the hosts voice booms through the microphone "Best new Artist".

"This is it" squealed one of your members beside you, gripping on to your hands tightly.

As the host read through the names of groups in the category, you found yourself holding your breath. So many late nights, tears and tired limbs had got you here, you just hoped it wasn't all in vain.

"and the winner is......XSCAPE"....

You all leaped up clinging on to each other with tears in your eyes and started to make your way towards the stage whilst your hit song 'Promise of Tonight' echoed throughout the venue. You couldn't quite believe it. Though you had hoped that this would be the outcome, the feeling of hearing your groups name as well as the cheers from fans was better than anything you could of anticipated.

After receiving the award, you stood in front of the microphone to make your practiced leaders speech, wanting to thank everyone who had supported you from the beginning up until now.

You looked into the camera lens as advised and you were just about to start your speech when you started to hear sounds of laughter around you and the grip on your arm from your groupmate tighten. Something felt slightly off and you couldn't put your finger on it, however you managed to finish what you were saying before thanking the fans once again and walking backstage.

"What was that about" you asked your members once you had made it behind the curtain. They all looked at you awkwardly with a slight essence of anger as the main dancer lifts her finger to point at one of the monitors behind you.

The monitor was replaying the moment you won the award and the group clinging to each other before making your way to the front stage. It shows the moment you have the award in your hand and you are about to open your mouth to speak, as the screen beside the stage shows your boyfriend looking uninterested and whispering in the ear of his manager... the complete opposite of how he was when Red Velvet took to the stage.

'How could he' you think to yourself re-watching the moment as it plays on a loop in front of you. You attempt to swallow back the lump in your throat before turning back to the girls, feigning a smile on your face, something you knew they could see through.

"Lets head home" you say, wrapping your arms over their shoulders as you pull them all in to a group hug.

Your award was the last one of the night, so you piled into to your transportation and headed back to the dorm together in a comfortable silence.

Tonight was a long night for you all and the excitement of it all had made you feel exhausted. Also the winning of the 'best new artist' award had not really sunk in.

You open your phone to notifications filling your shared Instagram account, with kind words from all you fans. You took a deep breath before scrolling further through the messages foreseeing what some of the comments will say.

"I am embarrassed for her" one wrote

"The difference between him watching Irene's speech to watching Y/N's....."

"There's no way Suho actually loves her" the comments continued, making you throw your phone back into your bag and take a deep breath.

After what felt like hours, you finally make it back to your shared dorm as everyone stumbles through the door flinging their heels off.

You all decide to get an early night as you have practice first thing in the morning.

"You sure you're ok Unnie?" the youngest Miyeong asks as you walk towards your room. "I'm ok" you smile before giving her a big hug and heading inside.

You couldn't let the girls know how you really felt, how heavy you felt inside and not wanting to ruin the night because of your own relationship. As a leader, you suppress a lot of those feelings deep inside your chest. You needed to make sure that above everything, they came first, its somewhat like a parent role you had been taught from none other than the leader you fell in love with.

You decide to have a hot shower before putting on some comfortable pyjamas. As you slide into your crisp sheets, your phone pings with a notification. You take a look at the screen to see several congratulatory texts from friends and family and three missed calls from Junmyeon as well as a text requesting a call back.

You let air fill your lungs as you let out a long sigh, wondering if it was a good idea to call him whilst anger and hurt still clung to you. You let your curiosity of his behavior get the better of you as you press the call button on your screen.

“Jagi” a voice penetrates through the speakers. “Congrats on the win, how does it feel?” Suho asks nonchalantly. You couldn’t quite believe the nerve of him right now…did he not see the posts online, the constant stream of comments laughing at you.

You didn’t quite know how to respond, so you just replied flatly, “I’m about to go to sleep, can we talk another time?”. You didn’t mean for your voice to sound so taut, but you felt so betrayed at this moment and you could already tell that this conversation could lead to an argument, an argument you had no energy for.

“What’s wrong?” Suho asked, confusion thorned in his voice.

“I don’t want to talk about it right now Junmyeon…”

Silence fell on the phone, you never called him by his full name as you usually had a string of cute nicknames you called each other. It was obvious to him at this point you were angry at him.

“Well it’s obvious you’re mad at me, so why don’t you just tell me what’s wrong”

The nerve of this guy, you think to yourself. Is he really acting like he doesn’t know.

“Well maybe it’s because we finally won the award we had worked so hard for and instead of experiencing any joy, I was laughed at on stage and our Instagram page is filled with comments talking at how my boyfriend paid no attention when we won, but looked overjoyed for Red Velvet?”, you could barely recognise your own voice at this point.

Though you and Suho had, had several small arguments before, you never fully raised your voices with each other, which is probably why you felt slightly shocked at your own tone.

“Are you being serious right now?” He asks. “My manager came to advise that our car had broken down and they were looking at finding another vehicle to get us home”.

You find yourself scoffing his his excuse. Though you didn’t want to come off as a pick me type of girlfriend, this was a important moment for you and you wanted to know he supported you like you would for him.

“You’re telling me that your car situation couldn’t wait two minutes to see your girlfriend and her group win the award, yet when Irene was on stage you couldn’t look more supportive?” You questioned.

Jealously can be an ugly thing and Irene and the group had been nothing but nice to you, they were actually a group you all looked up to. You felt stupid even saying these words but you remembered Suho telling you once that he used to have a crush on Irene during his earlier days and somehow that had imprinted in your mind, even though he promised you his crush was short lived.

“Y/n, do you know how ridiculous you sound right now” he ridiculed. “You know we always cheer on the groups at our agency”

“Just not mine then? Is it our music, are we just not good enough for you?” you snapped back. You felt like he wasn’t listening to you and if he had just understood where you were coming from then you wouldn’t be as mad as you are. Instead he was choosing to be defensive which caused you to get your back up more. “Irene looked beautiful tonight, so I am not surprised you cheered her on, I’m sure you would prefer to be with her anyway” you continued to jibe and though you knew you didn’t really mean it, you felt so upset at how he didn’t understand how this made you feel.

“You’re right, I would much prefer to be with Irene, she wouldn’t act so childish over something like this” he sneered back.

You quickly tried to hold back the sob that had composed itself in your throat and held the phone away from your ear. The tears that had been lightly clinging to your eyelashes now fell down your face like rain. You were his second choice, he wanted her first and settled for you. The thought itself made your heart ache. You could just make out the sound of your name being called through the phone line and you pressed to hang up the call and cocooned yourself into your covers so no one could hear your cries.

You lay there for what felt like hours though it had only been thirty minutes just staring at the ceiling. The tears were still streaking down your cheeks but you no longer made any sound and chose to lay there in silence with thoughts rattling around your head. A light knock on the door didn’t even pull you from your state as a figure appears in the room.

“Baby?” a voice whispers in the dimly lit room, “Miyeong let me in” he speaks again trying to adjust his eyes to the light to find you.

“Please just go” you responded faintly not wanting him to see you in this state.

He soon rushes over to your side and switches your bedside lamp on to get a better view of your face and once he does his heart breaks. Your eyes are puffy from crying and your hair clings to your face from the wetness of your tears.

“Oh baby” he says placing himself next to you on the bed and pulling you into his chest.

After everything he had said, you should be pushing him away, but his scent that you love so much still manages to penetrate your semi blocked nose and causes you to press yourself closer to him.

“I didn’t mean what I said” he starts up, “I’m an idiot and I never meant a single word of it. I should of been there for you and cheered you on and I never ever want you to think that I would choose anyone else but you, y/n I can’t even put into words how much you mean to me”.

You look up through your eyelashes to see the sincerity on his face and the worry plastered across his expression. “Really?” you ask, wanting more reassurance.

“Yes my love, you are the only one I want and I promise you that I won’t ever make you feel like that again. I can’t even begin to tell you how proud I am of you. You and the girls deserved this award more than anyone” he smiles down at you.

He raises his hand to caress your cheek and brings his lips to yours, making you melt into him. You could tell he was sincere, he’s not the type of person to mess with someone’s feelings. Though you will have tough days and everything may feel like it’s sitting on your shoulders, you know that you will get through it together because love concurs all.

That was what it took for your tears to fall, you moved the phone away from your ear shocked at your boyfriends statement. After everything you had been through, you really were never going to be his first choice. You could hear him calling out your name on the phone before you hung up, unable to speak to him any longer.

“So that moment was more important than your girlfriends first award?” You question, completely shocked at his poor excuse

He has the skill and drive to be in F1, Ferrari is just fucking up with him. We've seen how he's a good driver and can be in contemplation to win a WDC but until things change, he's going to be stuck where he is. Although I do think he's a bit too relaxed on things.

There's also a lot of haters arising of his so it isn't making shit better.

Although Charles fans should stop arguing with Seb fans on Twitter, it's annoying.

I'm getting off point, but I say he's between overrated-decently rated. Cause sometimes he makes me second guess on him and on his skill. Or thats Ferrari lol.

Part 5, Leon Dompteur. Chapter 5, “Veritas.”

“It’ll be good for us to be seen in public together,” Vincent said. He had been rambling on about the recent scandal the whole carriage ride. “Some time has passed, and I doubt people still care. Nothing else has surfaced, so rest assured, we’re in the clear.” 

“You’re right,” Irene mindlessly agreed. Vincent smiled at her answer.

“Let’s try to have some fun,” he said. But Irene was in no mood to have fun. After what had happened with Leon last time, she was nervous to see him again. Although she desperately wanted to explain it to him and talk to him one last time, she was advised not to do so. Being seen together would only make things look worse, and even writing to him might cause irreversible damage. 

She looked at the blue sky, not as Irene, but as Anastasia. She wondered what Leon was doing, where he was, and if he was thinking of her too. The ache in her heart grew the longer she stared at the sky from the small carriage window. It was like a cage; the window allowed her to see the sky, but the walls trapped her inside, making her feel claustrophobic. She knew she wasn’t going to survive. Not if she was trying to be two people at once. Silently, the war raging within her came to a close as Irene drowned Anastasia. Snuffing out her light, her hopes, her dreams, and most importantly- her love for the fourth prince, Irene emerged victoriously. Anastasia was nothing more than a smoldering pile of ash, forgotten and left all alone to wither away with time.

Standing by Vincent’s side, Irene greeted the other nobles. Her arm was securely linked with his and they glided from group to group. 

Across the room, Leon was observing her. He knew that it was her with utmost confidence. But his confidence dimmed when he saw another man by her side. Their linked arms awakened a feeling Leon had never felt before. 

She pretended not to notice Leon. His laughter was warm, reaching deep into her soul. She still wore her crafted smile on her face and pretended nothing was wrong.

Countless people had approached Leon. Wave after wave, he entertained guests. It still surprised him how a certain couple managed to elude him. 

Vincent tugged Irene everywhere, skillfully avoiding the prince. He offered constant reassurance to her and she couldn’t do anything else but cling to him.

Leon politely excused himself and made his way straight over to the couple. There was nothing Vincent or Irene could do to escape him this time. “Hello, Lord Blakewell, I’m so glad you’re here tonight,” Leon greeted. He turned to her and with a single look, he uprooted everything she had just buried. “My Lady, it’s good to see you too.”

He had reached out to a drowning Anastasia. Pulling her out from under the current of the water. Air filled her lungs as her heart pounded in her chest. From the pile of ash, Leon had gently fanned the dying embers and soon it grew into a raging flame. Like a phoenix from the ashes, Anastasia had resurfaced with a multitude of emotions. 

She couldn’t get a single word out. Her mind became a battlefield for her two identities. Vincent and Leon’s exchange of words became muddled as the two sides fought. Seeing Leon standing before her, exuding his aura of charm, made her heart soar. But Vincent’s arm wrapped around hers reminded her of the promise she made years ago.

“Excuse me, I need some air,” she mumbled and briskly walked away.

The cool evening breeze felt refreshing on her skin and she slowly calmed herself down. When her mind was a bit more clear, she realized where she ran off to. The balcony had become a place of comfort for her. It was secluded, away from everyone else. It smelled of roses, a scent she found great comfort in. But more importantly, it was a place she could be herself. A place that was only possible because of Leon. When all the tension left her body, she went limp against the railing, breaking into a sob. 

The door opened and a rush of warmth reached her. Leon carefully approached her and bent down by her side. “Are you all right?” he asked in a soft voice.

“You shouldn’t be here,” she sniffled. 

“I know, but I just wanted to make sure you were okay,” he answered. She quickly removed herself from his touch, jumping up and away from him.

 “Why are you doing this? What do you hope to gain?”

“Why is it so hard for you to believe that someone would care about you? Why don’t you believe that I just simply want to be your friend? Am I not allowed to talk to people I want to be friends with?” he argued. 

“But that’s the problem. We can’t be friends.”

“And why is that?”

“I think you know why,” she said. Leon didn’t respond. He just stood there with a conflicted look on his face. Their gazes met and neither of them could look away.

“I didn’t know you’d become so important to me,” Leon admitted. “I just really like listening to you talk because I think you’re interesting.”

“Don’t say things like that.” She turned away from him.

“But it’s true. Why can’t I say it?”

“Because,” she paused, “you just can’t.” Silence fell between them again. Her words were all mixed up, unable to come out. It was like water behind a dam, and Leon kept poking holes. 

“Can I ask you one thing?” Leon asked. He patiently waited for her to gather her thoughts. 

“I don’t think you’re going to give up, so I’ll just answer,” she sighed in defeat. 

“Why did you tell me your name is Anastasia?”

Irene frowned, but Anastasia’s heart soared. She looked at him, helplessly. With tears stinging in her eyes, she let out a trembling breath, “That’s because it’s my real name. Irene is just the identity I was given when I was adopted.”

“What do you mean by identity?”

She hesitated for a minute. Even though she was slightly annoyed at Leon’s constant pestering and endless questions, there was a part of her that couldn’t help but be happy about his curiosity. “There was a woman, so distraught over the loss of her child. Her husband, equally upset, would do anything to make his wife happy again. The couple would do anything to have their happy little family back.

“Their daughter’s name was Irene. She was a bright girl. Smart and clever. Funny, and opinionated. Elegant and sophisticated. She was promised to the son of another family. And everyone loved her,” she told Leon. 

He listened to her attentively, deeply empathizing with her words. “So you became her replacement?” 

With a nod, she continued, “I reminded them of their daughter. Resembled her in ways I could never understand. They were so eager to make me a part of their family. And in the beginning, I wanted to be a part of their family too. I mean, who would turn that down? Two loving parents, a nice house, warm baths, and three square meals a day? Not to mention a free education? But I realized that they don’t really love me; they love her. For a while I didn’t care. I liked that they filled the void in me and I was happy filling the void in them. In the end, it didn’t matter how much I looked like her, I could never truly be her.”

“I’m so sorry,” he whispered, silently empathizing with her.

“And you don’t make it easy.” She looked at him through her wet lashes. “It’s hard when you’re always saying you think I’m interesting, and you go on about wanting to be my friend. It’s even harder when you look at me like that,” she said. Longing flashed across her face. 

“I have a look?” A small grin returns to his lips.

“It makes me feel like you’re looking at me, as Anastasia,” she answered. “It looks like you want to reach out and give me a hug.”

Leon decided to test his luck and moved closer to her. “Can I?” His arms were open and welcoming. 

“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” she said. But Leon still held his arms open and smiled warmly. And she couldn’t resist. She hesitantly moved closer into his embrace, unsure of what to expect. 

Her worries melted away when his strong arms wrapped around her in a snug, warm hug. Like puzzle pieces, they fit together so naturally. She was the perfect height to nestle her head right under Leon’s chin. Soon, her eyes fluttered closed and for the first time in a long time, she felt content. “Thank you for telling me that,” Leon whispered in her ear, “I’m happy you decided to trust me.”

“Just don’t tell anyone. I’m supposed to be Irene, no one else.”

“I understand that,” he sighed, “I promise, your secret is safe with me.” Leon not only understood her pain, but shared it. He didn’t want the hug to end. He wanted to protect her, to keep the pain and loneliness away from her forever. But fate wouldn’t allow it. The door to reality swung open and Vincent brought them back to the real world. Irene forced Leon away, bouncing from his grip, like magnets repelling each other.

“What’s going on out here?” Vincent asked with an accusatory tone. 

“Nothing, we were just saying good night,” Irene quickly answered. Vincent didn’t buy it. He stood there with an angry frown on his face, staring at Leon. Irene pulled Vincent away, taking him with her as she left Leon behind.

The lonely lion stood there, the chilled wind of the night swept across his face and tousled his hair. He looked up at the sky, only to be met with darkness and uncertainty, accompanied by the cold and distant stars.

Irene stood cradling a Billionaire's Mocktail slowly sipping,(a habit he gained from Samael when they were younger) enviously at Lucifer and his unborn twins, with Michael hovering around him like Samael used to do to her. Irene smiled slightly at the memories of her and Samael telling everyone about their unborn child, Samael fussing making sure that they were comfortable. Oh did she miss those days.

Take a swim in the water~

"-ene, Irene" Michael called with a worried look on his face.

"Yes?"

"You have been drinking that Cocktail for the past 2 hours and that's not like you."

"I am fine just tired and I think Lucifer should be brought to Mansion, so we can protect him from that Chole girl. Also it would be safe enough for Daniel and Beatrice to stay with us so Lucifer would not panic."

"That's a good idea..."

"I am hearing a 'but'."

"How do you know so much about pregnancy and you have never been pregnant."

"I cannot tell you that."

The twins visited every day and made her smile like no can. The kingdom of the abyss was happy that the princes were getting along nice and with the Archangel marriage upcoming in due time, they were happy.

Rhiannon smiled slightly at the soft singing coming from the nest's direction. They walked in on the sight of Samael rocking Irene and his baby boy to sleep with Mikael curled up next to him.

"I see Mikael couldn't sleep with you singing or the little ones" Irene gestures to the little girl on Mikeal back. Samael looks and giggles slightly at the moment.

"I guess you are right."

While a stranger braids my hair back out on the street~

Mikael sits with the little boy in his arms while the little girl, getting his hair done. The little ones remind him of his siblings every time he looks at them. Rhiannon looks at Mikael with love in her eyes and admires him for how he is so patient with them but disappointment hits her way because Samael could not see his children because of his royal duties.

And in your dreams we are shooting at snakes~

Samael was not coming around anymore because of his duties but Mikael is and Rhiannon feels disappointed with that feeling. Mikael tries to help cheer him up but nothing helps. Rhiannon gets nightmares of Samael leaving her permanently and Mikael couldn't even help. Many moons Mikael would finish his work and rush towards the Abyss Castle he would make to help Rhiannon anyway he could but Samael never came back. Mikael would hand Rhiannon letters that would have been written by Samael stating and explaining each job he did; creating the stars, help making the planets with the Almighty, and many more.

And while you were asleep, I was surely awake~

When Rhiannon was able to get permission to visit Silver Selune, he flew there (with the help of Mikael of course). He was thrilled that all the angels could see the gratification on their own face. The Almighty allowed him to stay with the twins until the coronation of the younger twins. Even though she moved to their room, Samael was not there as much as he thought even though his job was the chief musician and 'Will'.

"Samael why aren't you staying in the nest at least one night. No one is going to "get red in the face" if you take one day off."

"Rhiannon, my Astraea please look at me." He gently curved their face to him. "I may not have come around to see you often-" He was cut off by Rhiannon grumbling 'or not at all'. "Or not at all but I am the one who sent Michael to make sure you were ok, he even started to go by himself without me telling him too, just to hear him rambling about you and the children to me.... And besides who is going to make sure you, Mikael and little ones are safe. I stay awake while you guys are surely asleep. I promise."

"You're sure?"

"I promise."

I was talking at a cigarette~

Irene smiled menacingly at the promise. 'I promise' replayed in her mine like that broken record Michael keeps. He hated him for not being there but he knew that his 'cats' were killed by his curiosity. If he didn't go after Him her children would be alive but if he didn't follow Him this curse he placed would have been worse.

There's nothing left to say~

Irene wearily looks towards heaven, smoking a cigar. They heard their name called with a critical but comical tone, when he turned around Irene smiled seeing the merciless look of Fear embodiment.

"Yes, Michael what do you want for me." Irene voice sounding muffled with the cigar.

"You're smoking."

"Last time I checked even Toph could see it."

"Duh, of course she can see-...wait she blind."

"Anyways, are you sure we should move Lucifer even though we don't know who the father of twins?"

Before Irene could answer a cough signalled that someone was listening. The two turn only to Lucifer looking at them with disdain while holding a book. Michael immediately reconsidered the book mentioning the Curse. Lucifer floored Michael response with a look 'explain this now' then headed inside.

"So, would you two explain what this means and is."

"Lucifer-"

"Mikael don't, start explaining or am going to throw you off the balcony."

Irene smiled slightly at threat and sat down. He out the cigar in ash tray and gestures to Lucifer to calm down.

"I will explain but I can't explain all sadly it tied to the same curse."

"Well then go on."

"Right, Lucifer no Samael this curse ties Heaven, Hell and the Abyss together. The curse can be broken but only by the two persons the curse were intended for but we don't know who they are. All we know is that we need to find out who is this 'Akino' person and tie they have with us."

"Earlier, you said that we know each other but I can't remember you."

"I am sorry but I can't tell you that."

"But I need to know-"

"NO I WILL NOT TELL YOU AND DON'T ASK ME AGAIN" Irene slammed his hands down, a venomous anger laced his words. Lucifer flinched but got up and followed the woman who was currently shape shifting to her male form.

"Listen here, I don't care if you don't want to tell me about what happened between us but at least tell about the curse." Lucifer stormed after the man to the penthouse's library.

"How about a no." And with that Irene locked himself in the library.

"Are you serious right now?..... Michael stop standing there and come and be useful."

Said Michael was eating soufflé (how and when did him get that) and watching what was going down. Michael immediately stop and raise his head pointing to the door before shaking it and turning to walk away.

"Useless" Lucifer grumble before lock picking the door.

But he should have been there anyway~

Irene has been always scared of that day this curse started and the death of his parents. Samael promised he would be there for Rhiannon but no one had promised to be with Irene. Irene raked his hand through his hair brushing out any knots in the crystal mane, he heard the door being lock picked and sat in chair waiting for who it was.

For I didn't sing a single song, all day~

"You know that you and Michael are stubborn as hell." A smooth and relaxed voice sounded through the library, sending chills down Lucifer spine.

"I think Yuika will always be stubborn, especially when he does get his way."

"You still call Michael that?"

"Of course, he is my 'Moon flower'. Now don't change the topic, what is the curse or what happened."

"You would not give up, will you?" Irene turned around in the chair, looking in Lucifer's direction and then gestures to the sofa in library.

"No, not to you tell me at lest about the curse or how we know each other."

"Ok fine, but I am only telling you about the curse not about us. Not yet." He whisper the last part but Lucifer didn't push it.

My heart is full of swords~

"Wait, could you repeat what the book says one more time." Lucifer leans forward trying to understand the curse.

Once the sun dies,

"Clementine, his name is Nicholas"

"That is the curse." Irene snickered at Lucifer's face.

"And here I thought Dad spoke in riddles but this takes the cake. How can something so beautifully written means something equally deadly." Lucifer groaned in annoyance at both Irene and Michael.

Michael walks in with three trays of food in perfect balance. He placed the first two trays down and took the last tray down.

"Trust me if you think that crazy just until he comfortable enough with you to tell you how he knows us." Michael said while shoveling food in his mouth. "I was embarrassed for two months."

Irene looked at Michael in disgust at his uncouth behavior and at the mention of their meeting before hitting him on the head, only to look across to see Lucifer of all people doing the exact same thing as Michael.

Full of, full of swords~

Rhiannon walked the now familiar path to the throne room, she saw the door slightly open with the sound of muffled voices. She didn't know if to go or not but she decided against it until they heard a scream and loud crash. She ran to the ajar door and peeped in, a scream of horror ripped from her chest.

Golden blood ran from the throne onto the ground and a man with a similar style and face of The Almighty wielded a bloody sword, which was pierced in the chest pinning him to the chair. The man turned to scream and sent two swords in her direction, cutting her tails off which were protecting him then sent one straight into his stomach.

Your love, it knows the Lord~

Snapping back to reality, Irene felt like someone was falling out of heaven. Only to hear the earth shattering scream that Lucifer let out, when she rushed to see if he was ok. Irene saw that the angels fell from heaven.

When You Surprise Them On Tour ~ Red Velvet Reaction

Irene:

“Come in,” you overheard Sooyoung yell from the other side of the door as you knocked, slowly opening the door and stepping into the girls’ dressing room.

“Hello,” you chuckled, looking around the room until your eyes landed on Juhyun staring back at you with wide eyes.

It took a moment for her to stand to her feet, scratching over the top of your head as she struggled to believe that you were stood in the doorway. “You’re here?”

“I’m here,” you smiled as Seungwan pushed her to get up and greet you properly, the realisation beginning to sink in for her that you were really were in the room.

You could feel straight away in her hug how relieve Juhyun was to see you. “This is the best surprise,” she whispered in closely to your ear.

“I thought I’d come and stop by,” you whispered back.

“I’m so happy to see you here.”

Your head nodded understandingly back at her, “I don’t suppose you mind if I stick around, I hear there’s a good show on tonight.”

“I’ve heard rumour this group is pretty good too.”

Seulgi:

“Seulgi, look!” Several fans called out to Seulgi as she made her way down one of the aisles in the crowd, not sure quite what it was that she was supposed to see.

“Over there,” another fan called out as she passed them by, following to where they pointed to try and spot what it was.

There were several unfamiliar faces as she walked down, but then as she got to the end of the row of fans, the face that they all wanted to see was finally there.

“What are you doing here?” Seulgi laughed as the noise of the fans around where you stood got louder after she finally saw you. “How did you even get here?”

Your head shook back at her, “I got a plane, like most people when they decide to fly out, what else do you think I did to get here?” You teased in reply.

“I had no idea,” she whispered, stunned by you.

“That was the plan to surprise you.”

Seulgi’s hand reached out, pushing gently against your arm. “You never surprise me; I always figure you out.”

“At last, I managed to pull one off.”

Wendy:

“Just a moment,” Seungwan called out from the other side of the door, hurrying to unpack her belongings only to be disturbed by a knock at her hotel door.

You took a step back, relieved to know that you had got the right room, waiting patiently for the door to open up.

After a few moments, the door slowly opened with Seungwan tentatively peering around the door. “Hello,” you whispered, the sound of your voice making her jump.

“What?” Her eyes narrowed across at you, shaking her head as she opened up the door. “How?” She then asked you, struggling to believe that you were stood before her.

The confusion on her face was clear, making you laugh back at her. “I just thought I’d stop by, see how the tour was going and see if you missed me.”

“Of course, I missed you,” she grinned widely.

“I was hoping that you’d say that.”

Seungwan’s hand reached out, pulling you into the room. “You better have missed me too being at home all by yourself.”

“Absolutely, it’s never the same alone.”

Joy:

“She’s just over there,” the member of staff smiled across to you, pointing to Sooyoung who was just across the room so that the two of you could finally reunite.

“Thank you,” you told them, watching them walk away as you slowly moved around the room to where Sooyoung was.

With her concentrating on talking to Seulgi, you tiptoed behind her, tapping against her shoulder before taking a step back, waiting for Sooyoung to turn around.

“Hang on,” she began, finishing her conversation before turning around. “Y/N?” She then quizzed, taking a step back in surprise to see your figure stood in front of her.

Your head nodded as Sooyoung’s hands came up to cover over her mouth. “Don’t I at least get a hug?” You grinned, opening your arms up for Sooyoung’s hold.

“Please tell me that I’m not dreaming,” she smiled.

“You’re definitely not dreaming, promise.”

With that, Sooyoung quickly walked into your open arms. “I was only thinking the other day about how much I wish you were here.”

“And now I finally am here too.”

Yeri:

“If you’re not going to do it properly, don’t bother,” you jokingly scolded, hearing the choreographer correct Yerim as the group rehearsed for the evening’s concert.

“Excuse me…oh,” Yerim stuttered, about to turn around and glare at the person she overheard just to the side of the stage.

A loud laugh came from you as Yerim’s smile turned up, realising who it was that had spoken. “Surprise,” you grinned as she began to walk towards you.

“I was ready to scream at you,” she huffed, walking across the stage and towards your open arms. “What are you even doing here?” She then laughed, relaxing herself into your chest.

Your arms engulfed her tightly as Yerim squeezed firmly around you too. “I thought I’d come and see how things were going, I had to come and see a show somewhere.”

“How did you even keep this a secret?” Yerim grinned.

“It was hard, I wanted to tell you.”

Her head shook in reply to you in disbelief, “by the way, you know that I normally get the routines down perfectly, don’t you?”

“Of course, you’re the perfect performer.”
