Voltando cansado pra casa
Parou pra dar um peixe pro cachorro que estava seguindo
Pegou e saiu correndo hahahaha

Over the course of its first side, Hermit’s Grove answers the question of what a collaboration of Pharoah Sanders, Ian Carr, and Caetano Veloso would sound like. By the time you reach this conclusion, the group launches into a stoney rendition of Baden Powell and Vinicius de Moraes’s “Canto de Iemanja.”
last read: last thing I actually finished reading is probably Amyr Klink's Cem dias entre céu e mar, last month. Very easy and profound reading at the same time, and because I've been practicing hawaiian canoe for the last year, it felt amazing to read something like this. The perfect book for summertime.
currently reading: there are at least 4 books in this category:
R. F. Kuang's Babel, or the Necessity of Violence (I thought the structure and themes were cool, right up my lane, but the actual writing felt less than riveting to me. Same thing happened with Kraken, by China Miéville, which I dropped);
two books by contemporary brazilian authors, Christiano Aguiar's Gótico Nordestino (short horror stories set in the northeast countryside, real creepy folk stuff), and Ian Fraser's A vida e as mortes de Severino Olho de Dendê (fantasy, horror and sci-fi featuring brazilian culture - the author calls it a space opera and I'm loving it so far);
and the last one is Susanna Clarke's Piranesi (I don't know why but I have no comments about this one. 5 chapters in and it made no big impressions on me).
next read: my next reads are my current reads because they are a medium to long-term project, but I just bought Everyone on the moon is essential personnel, by Julian K. Jarboe and it's looking really enticing. Also a collection of brazilian erotic short stories called Corpo Desvelado, organized by Eliane Robert Moraes, which features the works of several acclaimed authors from our canon written over the last century.
