I love that the Midst cast is so busy dealing with the various collapsing states of their society that genuinely no one gives off any vibes in terms of sexuality. Two people have canonically gotten laid in recent history and frankly, despite having outright fucked a man, I'm still not sure which way Lark swings. I'm not even entirely sure she swings anyway or if she's fully uninterested and just wanted to get off. Harry could be bi, or he could be gay and really committed to the bit cause. Everyone else is too busy, having an existential crisis, plagued by commitment issues, committing crimes as we speak, or a combination thereof. (Weepe counts for all three.)
Sherman is the only person on the show I can say is decidedly bisexual.

I love how we're all like "Vox Machina is for sure not gonna risk bringing Delilah back" or "Vox Machina would never refuse to help ressurect Laudna" when I think deep down we all know that they're just gonna put the Hells on hold so they can argue about it amongst themselves for an hour

I LOVE the headcanon of Grover with crutches! (I am, however, completely on board with them not giving him crutches in the show because if Grover were to be portrayed using mobility aids, I think an actor with mobility aids should've been cast)
That being said, it just makes a lot of sense for Grover to actually use crutches, even outside of a "disguise" (which itself is an iffy reasoning). For instance, anatomically, because the hind legs of a goat are not designed to hold something standing up right like a human tend to (not that humans have a track record of success in that regard either, given the abundance of back problems many have). Not only would his legs likely cause back problems that may result in crutches, but the human spine is also very notorious for causing back problems, as well!
I totally agree (and it's part of why I'm so happy they cast Timothy Omundson as Hephaestus), but at the same time - they not only kept Chiron's wheelchair, but incorporated further reasoning as to why he uses a wheelchair besides it being part of his mortal disguise. If they're doing that for Chiron, why not do it for Grover as well? In canon he's literally introduced as walking like "every step hurts" and we don't get that description for any other satyrs or fauns. Ever since the movies it's been an established fanon thing for him (and if you count the movies then it's canon in one iteration) so it'd be nice to see.
And as someone who uses crutches in their daily life I honestly wouldn't even be mad about an abled actor using crutches for Grover if it meant we got crutches Grover at all. I'd hope they'd get forearm crutches rather than underarm crutches at least but besides that, honestly? If they're not doing that casting for Chiron while actively including a disability he doesn't have in the books, but at the same time they've shown that they're at least somewhat aware by casting a disabled actor as Hephaestus, I would be okay with them going whichever route with Grover that has end result of Grover getting his crutches. I just want Grover's crutches.

mocumentary-style sitcom about an LDS institute class / student ward about all the shenanigans the YSAs get into. featured arcs include general conference viewing party, attending trek with the stake youth, returned missionaries adjusting to being off the mission, road trips to church historical sites, The Wedding Episode, someone invited their non-member roommate and the talks are kind of weird/its Fast Sunday, Baptism Episode, etc. would ideally include lots of references to LDS cult classics such as The Best Two Years, the singles ward, and such. also one character would have a Tumblrstake / Queerstake blog
working title is just "The Student Ward" but im open to suggestions lol
EDIT: IM SO SORRY I DIDNT MEAN TO TAG THIS AS LDSHADOWLADY I THOUGHT I DELETED THAT ACCIDENTAL AUTO-TAG LMAO THATS MY BAD
fun fact I used to watch Lizzie all the time as a kid (still occasionally do) and I used to think she was Mormon because... LDS hadowLady lol

The Dndads finale campaign was great and intense and i have ThoughtsTM but i have a personal subjective moral aversion to 'decades later epilogue where everything is great actually we promise' as a narrative device
therefore if i ever write anything post- Willy Death it will purpousefully and spitefully refute at least ONE thing from the epilogue because Anthony Burch will not All Was Well me

thoughts on natla? Still unsure if i should give it a go (like I’ll watch it if I can get something out of it, even if taking the piss out if it. It just seems bland and heartless)
see for me its OFFICIALLY ! a solid 6-6.5/10
I dont get bland ! and I dont get heartless ! There are additions that I think really add flavor to the world, to the worldbuilding, even some character decisions that I think are interesting or fit well for this version of the story ! I can tell from how the cast and director talk about it that they put a lot of love into it !
what it DOES lack. is a sophisticated script. well written dialogue. it has its moments, maybe, but the entire time I was watching it I kept thinking... I bet I could think of a way to get this information across quicker and more naturally.... and thats BAD cus I do NOT consider myself the best writer sdhsd
would I recommend it ? for people who want to have fun watching some good live action fanfiction, absolutely. for someone who likes action/fantasy/c-dramas on in the background, sure. but not for anyone else.
do I want a second season of this ? yes. because frankly, I think a second season will make or break this show. if they dig their heels in on the script/writing style choices then the narrative, the tension, the characters, they'll just fall apart.... If they build on the good stuff they already have going on and pay attention to the right stuff writing wise, they'll have a hit !

HC that Chester and Norris also don't kow who Augustus is. Both or one of them might think is Jonah, but they don't really know. They never actually heard Jonah, Is a new voice and even if Jon knew everything once is hard to think inside a computer even less to remember all that information. They are just trapped in barely existence in a Windows NT with someone who might or not be their biggest enemy and if someone were to check the secret notes encrypted in the accient notes app they would find a weird conspiracy board over "who is here with us".
