If All the inhabitants (+ Leo and Emma) had a maestro form what would it look like

Ooh! That is an interesting question.

Leo's, Emma's, and the Inhabitants' maestro forms will definitely vary depending on the individual. Some will have black skin like Balan's while others will have white skin. Either way, they all will wear fancy clothing that resembles that of a performer.

While I haven't decided what their maestro outfits would look like in full detail, I'd like to imagine that their outfits will be in their color scheme.

They would no doubt be as tall as Balan and Lance. Their hair will be styled in dreadlocks. But when they transform back into their human form, their hair will be back to normal and they will go back to their normal heights.

Do you think you could talk a bit about inhabitation and how it works? It's something I'd like to try with my tulpa but I'm not sure where to start lol. Like, do they experience the 5 senses as if they were in a physical body? Do they need to inhabit something like a doll or a plushie or can it be anything? Would you say it's ok for still-developing tulpas or should we wait till they're more developed? Sorry for all the questions lol, have a good day!/gen

I've been meaning to write a detailed guide for a while.

The short of it is that most people have an ability to put themselves in someone else's shoes. This is a basic component of empathy. It's why you may wince when you see someone else in pain. A singlet experiencing this won't feel like they literally are an external object though, since they're more attached to the front than they are to the other object.

Psychologically, I think inhabitation, can be seen as this type of empathy + bodily detachment. The headmate feels as if they are experiencing things through the inhabited object because those sensations are the only sensations they're experiencing at the time.

We usually use a variation of our ghost switching method, where instead of entering the body, I would enter an external object, tricking the brain into thinking that object is me.

You can somewhat feel through it, but probably not as vividly as you can through the body, and you can see through it if you try. (Just remember that this sight is imaginary. You're basically just creating a replica of your surroundings as an inner world, and viewing that inner world through the object's eyes. You can't inhabit an object, leave it somewhere, and spy on people who the body can't see. This is still entirely psychological.) If you can taste or smell in the Wonderland, you should be able to while inhabiting.

As for what you use, I would recommend something that can be aligned to the mindform or even just part of it. The sensations are felt more vividly if you can line them up with your mindform. Again, this is based in empathy, and empathy was primarily developed to relate to other humans and certain animals.

My first experience with inhabitation was actually a balloon which I made into my head. (Like I said, even just part of the body will work.) After that, I've experimented with dolls, plushies and even a blanket.

I will tell you that inhabiting the blanket is much more difficult. I can feel some vague emotional sensations through it, but I can't align my body with it. There's nothing that can be a head or arms. It's all just so much more vague, and the sensations less distinct.

As for when you can start, while we haven't tried it ourselves, I actually believe you can create a tulpa from scratch as an inhabitant* simply by applying forcing methods to an inanimate object. So I think any point in development can work.

*An "inhabitant" is our term for a headmate who identifies as an object most or all of the time, and feels like they are that object.

Been a while since I’ve done this kind of thing. Buuuut….

Semi-Corruption Headcanon: The inhabitants who are semi-corrupted would have their eyes turned into their semi corrupted form even though they have not transformed in others’ birthday. For example, when Jose transforms in December 26(correct me if I’m wrong), Cal, Lucy and the others would only have their eyes transform.

Not only that, they can sense each other’s activity even from far away.

In this case, when Cal and Lucy try to sleep in midnight, they can hear Jose, in his werewolf form, going on nightly patrols and howling about on the streets, much to their irritation.

Don’t worry, they’ll talk to Jose and he’ll listen since he is a good boy.
