The Interplay Between ICOs, IDOs, and Airdrop Campaigns: A Guide for Cryptocurrency Investors
In the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of cryptocurrency, Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs) are critical fundraising mechanisms, while airdrop campaigns serve as potent marketing strategies. This blog delves into how ICOs and airdrops work in synergy, explores their benefits, and offers insights for investors keen on leveraging these opportunities in the upcoming ICO and IDO landscape.
Understanding ICOs and Airdrops
What is an ICO? An Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is a traditional method used by new cryptocurrency projects to raise capital by selling their tokens in exchange for established cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum. ICOs provide investors with early access to potentially lucrative tokens.
What are Crypto Airdrops? Crypto airdrops involve distributing free tokens to the wallets of existing cryptocurrency holders or to individuals who engage in specific promotional activities. These can include tasks like sharing information on social media or joining a project’s community. Airdrops are primarily marketing tools designed to enhance awareness and boost engagement.
The Synergy Between ICOs, IDOs, and Airdrop Campaigns
Building Community Engagement Airdrops are instrumental in fostering a robust community around a new project. By giving away free tokens, projects incentivize users to interact with their platform, promoting their upcoming ICO or Upcoming IDO. This engagement is crucial as it helps generate buzz and widen the investor base before the official token sale.
Enhancing Token Utility Airdrops can also play a significant role in demonstrating the utility of a token before it officially launches through an ICO or IDO. Early recipients of airdrops are often more invested in the project's success, which can lead to increased demand and potentially higher prices once trading begins.
Attracting Investors Executing a successful airdrop campaign can capture the attention of potential investors who might not have considered participating in an ICO or IDO. Free tokens not only generate immediate interest but can also lead to higher participation rates in the subsequent token sale.
Evaluating Airdrop Opportunities Linked to Upcoming ICOs and IDOs
For investors aiming to capitalize on new projects, here are several strategies to evaluate and engage with upcoming airdrops and ICOs/IDOs:
Airdrop Alerts: Sign up for alerts from credible sources to stay updated on new airdrop campaigns associated with impending ICOs and IDOs. This early information can be crucial for timely investment decisions.
Crypto Airdrop Calendar: Use a dedicated calendar to keep track of significant dates related to airdrops and ICOs/IDOs. Planning is essential for effective participation.
Airdrop List: Keep an organized list of intriguing projects, noting their connection to any upcoming ICOs or IDOs. This helps maintain focus on your investment strategy and ensures you don’t miss potential opportunities.
Benefits of Participating in Airdrops Linked to ICOs and IDOs
Free Crypto Tokens: Participating in airdrops provides you with free tokens, which might appreciate in value following the ICO or IDO.
Early Access: Airdrops can offer early access to tokens, giving participants an edge when these tokens hit the market.
Community Involvement: Being part of airdrop campaigns enables investors to engage directly with the project teams, providing feedback and influencing development paths.
Conclusion
The dynamic interconnection between ICOs, IDOs, and airdrop campaigns presents rich opportunities for cryptocurrency investors. By understanding how these elements interact, you can better position yourself to identify promising projects and make informed decisions. As the landscape for upcoming ICOs, IDOs, and airdrops grows, utilizing resources like ICO and IDO calendars, and participating in airdrop campaigns will be indispensable in maximizing your investment outcomes. Stay informed and proactive to successfully navigate this complex yet rewarding field.

Inside IDOs: The Future of Decentralized Fundraising
Tumblr media
In the ever-evolving world of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs) have emerged as a revolutionary method for decentralized fundraising. IDOs offer a more democratic and accessible approach to capital raising, breaking down traditional barriers and providing opportunities for both investors and projects alike. In this blog, we will delve into what IDOs are, how they work, their advantages, challenges, and what the future holds for this innovative fundraising model.
What Are IDOs?
An Initial DEX Offering (IDO) is a fundraising method where a cryptocurrency or token is launched on a decentralized exchange (DEX). Unlike Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) or Security Token Offerings (STOs), which often rely on centralized platforms, IDOs leverage the decentralized nature of DEXs to provide a more transparent and fair fundraising process.
How Do IDOs Work?
IDOs operate through smart contracts on blockchain platforms, such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Solana. Here’s a step-by-step overview of the IDO process:
Project Preparation: The project team develops the token and prepares all necessary documentation, including the whitepaper, tokenomics, and a detailed roadmap.
DEX Partnership: The project partners with a decentralized exchange to host the IDO. Popular DEXs for IDOs include Uniswap, PancakeSwap, and Raydium.
Token Sale Announcement: The project announces the IDO date, time, and participation details to the community.
Liquidity Pool Creation: Prior to the IDO, the project creates a liquidity pool on the DEX, where a certain amount of tokens and equivalent value in another cryptocurrency (usually ETH or BNB) are locked.
Public Sale: On the announced date, the token sale goes live on the DEX. Investors can purchase the tokens directly from the liquidity pool.
Post-Sale: After the IDO, the tokens are immediately tradable on the DEX, providing instant liquidity for investors.
Advantages of IDOs
IDOs offer several benefits over traditional fundraising methods:
1. Accessibility
IDOs are open to anyone with an internet connection and a cryptocurrency wallet, making them highly accessible to a global audience. This democratizes investment opportunities, allowing small investors to participate alongside larger ones.
2. Transparency
The use of smart contracts and blockchain technology ensures a transparent and trustless fundraising process. All transactions and token distributions are recorded on the blockchain, providing full visibility to participants.
3. Immediate Liquidity
Unlike ICOs, where investors often have to wait for tokens to be listed on exchanges, IDOs provide immediate liquidity. Tokens can be traded on the DEX as soon as the sale concludes, allowing investors to quickly realize their gains or losses.
4. Lower Costs
IDOs eliminate the need for intermediaries, such as investment banks or centralized exchanges, reducing costs for both the project and investors. This also means lower listing fees and faster launch times.
Challenges of IDOs
Despite their advantages, IDOs come with their own set of challenges:
1. Regulatory Uncertainty
The regulatory landscape for IDOs is still evolving, with different jurisdictions having varying stances on cryptocurrency fundraising. This uncertainty can pose risks for both projects and investors.
2. Market Volatility
The cryptocurrency market is known for its volatility, and IDOs are no exception. Token prices can fluctuate wildly post-sale, leading to potential losses for investors.
3. Scams and Rug Pulls
The decentralized nature of IDOs can attract bad actors looking to exploit unsuspecting investors. Scams and rug pulls, where project teams disappear with investors' funds, are a real risk in the IDO space.
The Future of IDOs
The future of IDOs looks promising, with several trends and developments pointing towards their continued growth and evolution:
1. Cross-Chain IDOs
As blockchain interoperability improves, we can expect to see more cross-chain IDOs. This would allow projects to raise funds across multiple blockchain platforms, increasing their reach and liquidity.
2. Enhanced Security Measures
To combat scams and rug pulls, DEXs and projects are implementing enhanced security measures, such as KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, audits, and insurance funds. These measures will help build trust and credibility in the IDO ecosystem.
3. Integration with DeFi
IDOs are increasingly being integrated with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, offering new opportunities for yield farming, staking, and other financial innovations. This synergy between IDOs and DeFi will drive further adoption and innovation.
4. Regulatory Clarity
As governments and regulatory bodies develop clearer guidelines for cryptocurrency fundraising, the IDO space will become more regulated and secure. This regulatory clarity will attract more institutional investors and mainstream adoption.
Conclusion
Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs) represent a significant leap forward in the world of decentralized fundraising. With their accessibility, transparency, and immediate liquidity, IDOs provide a compelling alternative to traditional fundraising methods. While challenges remain, the future of IDOs is bright, with continued innovation and growth on the horizon. As the cryptocurrency space evolves, IDOs will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping the future of decentralized finance and investment.
By staying informed and vigilant, both investors and projects can capitalize on the opportunities presented by IDOs, driving the next wave of innovation in the blockchain ecosystem.

Tumblr media
When he sent his reply to you, Dex stood quietly on his balcony, thinking of ways he could take it back.
“Thanks for the invite,” he typed regretfully, his anxiety getting the better of him, “but I think I’ll pass for tonight.”
“Are you sure?” He read your text in your sweet voice. “I want to see you.”
He knows you want to see him—he wants to see you just as badly, but the thought of socializing with people other than you was a less-than-ideal situation for Dex. He only preferred to be around you and only you. Part of him didn’t want to share you with other people, the other part simply didn’t want to be around them.
“Next time,” Dex lied, a pinch in his heart. “I promise.”
He waits five minutes, and then ten minutes, and when twenty minutes pass by, he knows the conversation ends there. Dex slides the door open and reenters his apartment, sitting quietly at his kitchen table, phone in front of him.
Scenarios start playing in his mind: you’re only going out with your friends. He’s met some of them and doesn’t care for them at all, but at least he knows you’ll be with them and only them. What bar did you say you were going to? The Black Dog? It slowly dawns on him that other people you don’t know will be around you too, and it bothers him that he can’t control every action of every person. What if some guy tried talking to you? Offered to buy you a drink? Flirted with you? Or worse, what if you liked it enough to never talk to Dex again?
He can’t imagine another guy having good intentions like Dex has good intentions with you. Dex wants to keep you safe from people like that, people he doesn’t know. People who may have ill intentions for their own selfish needs.
And how can he make sure that you’re safe from people like that, sitting alone in his apartment here, away from you?
If there’s one thing that will get him out the apartment, it’s the thought of someone trying to take away his North Star from him.
◎◎◎
Dex arrives at the bar before you do. He’s in his denim jacket and baseball cap. After quickly ordering a club soda from the bartender, he makes his way to the back and chooses a quiet corner to sulk in, to hide, to watch from afar. It’s what he’s most comfortable doing, it’s what he does best.
He doesn’t touch the club soda at all, bubbles wasting their air in the glass. He watches the people that are in the bar with disdain. They’re all fools, he thinks to himself, but which one will be the unlucky one who tries to talk to you?
The next time the door opens, you walk in first followed by your friends and Dex sinks deeper in his seat, tilts his head down so his cap is hiding his face. He watches you from underneath, bringing the glass of club soda closer to him. His heart may be hard but his eyes go soft every time he looks at you. You’re laughing with your friends, and you look beautiful in your black sweater and jeans. You and your friends find a table in the middle of the bar and that’s when Dex takes note of the people that surround you.
Right now, no one’s paying mind to your table except for him. He smiles to himself each time he sees you laugh—tries to share in the moment with you even though you don’t know he’s there. He wonders what you whisper to your friend at one point. Whatever it is, your friend laughs and hits your shoulder. You have a glass of Sauvignon Blanc in front of you—Dex knows it’s the only white wine you’ll drink—and when you finish it, you look around for your server.
The bar is much more crowded now and Dex has to move down a seat or two to keep his sights on you. He takes a deep breath and looks down when he sees you get up from your seat to go to the bar. When your back is to him, he looks up and watches as you patiently wait for a bartender’s attention.
There are plenty of people at the bar, so many that not everyone is sitting on a stool. People squeeze in, lean on the counter, and move chairs out to fit more of their friends into conversations. You’re leaning with your left elbow on the bar, and Dex watches as you wait. Someone behind you accidentally pushes you, and both you and Dex react at the same time. You, startled from the contact, and Dex, sitting up more straight in his seat. He relaxes his shoulders after a few moments when he sees the person scoot their chair away from you, and you seemingly unbothered.
You glance at your phone, scroll through something, and lock it again before putting it in your back pocket. Dex wonders if you re-read your messages like he does. He hopes so. You sigh, looking around the bar again—you weren’t having any luck getting a bartender’s attention.
And like a cloudy night ruining his view of his North Star, a man in a black jacket and boots stands directly in front of you. He’s got dark hair and a 5 o’clock shadow. Dex straightens in his seat again, high on alert. The man walks by you slowly in a calculative way. He doesn’t go unnoticed on Dex’s radar, not when he’s so close to you. The man walks by and inserts himself between a group, about five people away from you.
Dex feels his muscles tighten and he grips his glass of club soda hard. He has to let go of it so his entire focus is on the scene before him. Good thing he decided to come tonight—he knew this would happen. Dex watches you and then watches the man watching you. He doesn’t like how focused he is on you, how bad of an actor he is when he pretends to look around the bar just to look at you again. Dex takes a deep breath as he sees him slowly weave his way between people to stand next to you. He’s got something in his back pocket he keeps fiddling with.
You’re oblivious, minding your business, waiting patiently for the bartender. At least Dex is there to protect you if anything were to go awry. He couldn’t have anything happen to you—the mere thought of it made him nauseous, losing someone so important to him, again.
The man daringly asks the people who are standing next to you to move so he can have their spot. Dex’s throat goes dry as he sees the man brush his shoulder against yours purposefully. You glance up and move as much as you can, but the man moves closer to you again.
“Sorry, crowded bar,” the man says to you. At first glance, he’s handsome, but there’s something aggressive about his nature.
“It’s alright,” you say shrugging your shoulders. You pretend to check your phone for something.
“You come here alone?” He asks you.
“No, I’m with my friends,” you smile, gesturing your head in their direction.
“Can I buy you a drink?”
“No, I’m okay. Thank you.”
“Really? You’re the first girl who’s ever turned down a free drink at a bar,” the man says, confused by your rejection. Perhaps even a little insulted.
“I bet I’m not the first girl who’s rejected you point blank, though,” you say, hoping he gets the message. He’s taken aback by your words, and he doesn’t stop there.
“Bet you just haven’t had a guy like me dick you down to make you nicer.”
Dex doesn’t know what the conversation is, but from your body language and expression on your face, he knows it can’t be good. Whatever it was this man was saying to you, it was diminishing your light—his light—it was an attempt to take his North Star away. Dex stands up from his seat.
It’s not until the man places his hand on your shoulder and then your neck that Dex feels his rage and jealousy course through his veins, so much so that it’s made him finally get up from his seat and walk straight toward you. The path to what was unfolding in front of him was like walking through a dark tunnel, and like a phantom appearing out of thin air, Dex walks up to the man, paying no mind to you, takes him by the collar of his cheap jacket and pushes him away from you.
“Stay away from her,” Dex says in a cool tone, chest heaving, hands shaking from adrenaline.
The man walks right up to Dex, and it’s comical that he thinks he even stands a chance. Dex glances around, the things around him becoming all too obvious. A napkin dispenser. A shot glass. A butter knife. They’re all too easy.
“Dex,” he hears you call his name, and now there’s too many people looking at them, and the man in front of him is anticipating his next moves and for nothing because just as quickly as Dex made himself known, he’s out of the bar pushing past everyone and walking down the street. Away from those people. Away from you. He hears the door open behind him, unsure if it’s you or not.
He couldn’t even look at you—ashamed of his actions, ashamed he let you see him like that, which wasn’t even his worse but damn near close to it. He’s leaning forward against a brick wall, catching his breath from the adrenaline of seeing you being touched by another man, trying not to black out from his rage. But you’re right behind him, shocked he was there to save you. What Dex wasn’t expecting were your arms snaking around his waist, resting your head against his back.
Was it possible you weren’t mad at him for being like that?
“No one’s ever been protective of me like you,” you sigh against his back. Dex is shaking from the adrenaline but he finds it in him to stop and focus on your arms around him. He places his hands on yours and sighs. “Guess you decided to come after all?” You ask him. “I didn’t even see you walk in, but what hell of a timing that was.”
“It was timing,” Dex agrees with you and lies. “I wanted to surprise you.”
“Look at me, Dex,” you say gently. Dex turns around in your arms and you reach up to take off his baseball cap to see his face. “Thank you.”
There’s something in his eyes you can’t read but you agree when he asks to go back to his place.
◎◎◎
“You know, if you wanted to hang just the two of us, you could’ve said so,” you say as you walk inside his apartment and throw your jacket on his couch. Dex turns around and locks the door, feeling calmer than he did before but still on edge. He places his baseball cap on the counter and hangs up his jean jacket.
“I didn’t want to ruin your night with your friends.”
“It was sort of ruined anyway, but somehow got even better now that I’m here,” you smile. “Seriously, it’s crazy you were there in the nick of time.”
“Yeah,” Dex trails off. “I know.”
“You still seem on edge,” you say softly, “are you okay?”
Dex looks away from you and places both his fists on his hips. He shakes his head. “No,” he says. “I’m not.”
“Why?”
“I—.” How does he say it, without saying it? That he nearly wanted to kill a man for touching you? He almost lost it in front of you and almost lost you?
“I couldn’t stand seeing someone touching you like that,” Dex explains. “I can’t get it out of my head.”
“Try not to think about it,” you whispered and placed your hand on his face. Now Dex met your eyes. “Focus on me.”
It wasn’t until now he realized he was still shaking from the adrenaline. He never got it out before—the anger and jealousy were still bottled inside, running through his veins with no relief, because seeing you being touched like that by some man triggered something in Dex so strong that not even acting violently could calm him down. It festered in his chest like a sickness that could only be cured by your reassurance, your touch, your presence.
And here you were in front of him, doing and giving him all of that. It’s what made it so easy for Dex to come to his conclusion that you were, in fact, all his—every part of you, everything, you were his alone. No one else ever had this effect on him the way you do.
“I just want you to be safe with me,” Dex said, “only me.”
You smiled, even if you didn’t know the depths of his words. They came off to you as sweet nothings but to him it was law. It was no other way. It was unchangeable.
“You’re mine,” Dex said in a guttural voice, his eyes half moons as he looked at you, “all mine.” His anger and jealousy started to shift into something else the more he looked at you. The more you absorbed his words and listened to him. He knew he had your full attention and he wanted more. The pit of this started beneath the button of his jeans. It was deeper than his heart.
“Make it so,” you squint your eyes in return, succumbing to his intense gaze.
Dex placed both his hands on your arms and traced the length of you slowly. You took a step closer to him so your chest was touching his.
“I control myself so well around you,” Dex says in a low voice, “but right now I don’t want to.”
“So don’t,” you smirk, running your lips lightly against his.
Dex swallows hard before his fingers find the hem of your sweater and pull it over your head. You stand in front of him in nothing but your jeans and bra and to Dex, it’s still not enough.  Dex runs his fingertips on your sides and slides his hand to your back, swiftly unclasping your bra. You shiver against his touch which is all too sweet.
“Dex,” you say in a low voice, “so don’t.” You repeated what you said before, hoping he got your message.
Dex lifts an eyebrow and takes a deep breath, his dark eyes looking you up and down before relying purely on instinct. Dex lifts you up into his arms and you wrap your legs around him as he carries you to his bedroom and gently throws you on his bed. You land on your back and spread yourself on his fitted sheets, sheets he knows will be in ruins when he’s had you how wants.
“I’m the only one who can see you like this,” Dex says. He takes his shirt off and reaches down to unbutton your jeans, slowly sliding them off your legs. You’re shaking. You nod at his words, whatever he says, that’s okay.
Dex leans over you, his dirty blonde hair pushed to one side, his dark eyes looking at every inch of your skin. You don’t feel self-conscious, you feel seen. Dex kisses your forehead, then your nose, then your lips, and soon he’s peppering kisses between your breasts and down the length of your torso before he kisses the part you’re aching for.
“I’m the only one who can touch you like this,” Dex says softly as he looks up at you from below. He places his hands on either of your thighs and spreads you open, so he’s face to face with your wetness. “And this,” he says, placing a thumb on your clit and putting not enough pressure on it, “is mine.”
“Okay,” you nod and close your eyes. Dex takes your hand and intertwines his fingers with yours while he kisses your sex and drags his tongue slowly over your folds. You press your head deeper in his mattress and take a long, deep breath. Dex begins to lap at your folds, licking you slowly and then faster, and when he gently wraps his lips on top of your clit and begins to suck on your sensitive bud, you let out a soft moan.
“I’m the only one who can make you sound like that,” Dex looks up momentarily before he continues eating you out. He looks up at you with his mouth on your clit and closes his eyes again. He keeps licking up your wetness and feels his cock harden in his jeans, aching to replace his mouth with it. But not yet.
“Dex,” you beg softly, “kiss me.”
Dex stops licking you up and moves up on his bed to be face to face with you. His lips are shiny from your wetness, but you don’t care. Dex slowly leans down and touches his lips to yours. You hold his face in your hands and hold him there for a few moments, opening your mouth to let his tongue in, you taste yourself on his lips. Dex deepens the kiss and you wrap your legs around him again. He places his hands under your back and lifts you, urging you to lay on your chest. You rest your head on his pillow and listen as he unzips his pants and throws them off.
He puts his hands on your waist and lifts you so your ass is up. Dex spreads your legs and slowly slides in two fingers inside your pussy.
“So wet,” Dex whispers, “just for me.” He continues sliding his fingers in and out of your pussy. He pushes your hand to the side and leans down to kiss you in the crook of your neck. It sends butterflies to your sides, the feeling of his soft lips kissing you sweetly. And the sweetness is gone when you feel Dex’s cock slowly enter inside you.
“Fuck,” you whisper. “Dex.”
“Say my name,” he whispers in a low voice in your ear.
“Dex,” you moan again as he begins to rock his cock back and forth inside of you slowly, feeling your tightness wrap around him. Dex’s arms are on either side of your head, and he buries his head in the crook of your neck. He fastens his pace thrusting inside you, feeling you move against him. You feel so wet and so tight around him, he bites your shoulder softly and says your name.
“You’re taking me so well,” Dex whispers, “You’ll always be mine.”
“Yeah,” you moan, “you feel so good, Dex.”
“Fuck,” he lets a curse slip out as the more he thrusts his cock inside you the more wet you feel. “Taking me so well,” he says in a deep voice.
“I’m so close, Dex,” you moan, and when you say this, Dex completely pulls out and you feel the absence of his size, absence of his closeness. Dex doesn’t want to finish with your face away from him. He wants to look into your eyes, see your face as his cock brings you to orgasm. Gone was the dominance, the real Dex wanted this to be special.
He flips you over onto your back and spreads your legs and wraps them around his waist. Before he enters you again, Dex is breathing heavily, and he reaches up his fingers to caress the side of your face. Your lips are parted—you’re out of breath too—and the gravity of tonight’s earlier situation hits him. He never wants you to feel unsafe again. The only way that can happen is if Dex is in your life.
“You mean a lot to me,” Dex says, and it really is the closet thing he can say to those three dating little words. You smile at him, place your own hand on his face too. You don’t need to say anything. He knows you feel the same. And Dex slowly pushes himself inside your pussy again, feeling your tightness clench him and his size fill you up perfectly. Your face contorts with pleasure and you breath a heavy sigh. The tip of his cock hits your sweet spot each time he thrusts inside you. “You’re mine,” Dex says again as he picks up his pace.
“Oh, Dex,” you pull him even closer as he continues pounding you into orgasm. Dex's eyes are dark as he holds this intense gaze with you, watching you orgasm like his life depended on it. Your so tight and went around him, when you finally come down from orgasm, Dex finally lets himself reach his own climax.
“Fuck, fuck,” Dex’s own face contorts and it’s the sexiest you’ve ever seen him, coming so undone like this. He spills his cum inside you on his final thrust and feels his seed fill you up. You feel him spurt deeply and it feels euphoric to feel all of him inside you like this.
If your relationship wasn’t clear before, it sure was now. You belonged to Dex and he you. As much as you were his, he was all yours.

also lol at Cody's situationship, that's like "I married my mother" except it's "I'm into this guy who is like the guy I WISH was my dad"
yeah ahsoka's family tried to get her to the jedi but that did not work out so she's now an initiate mandalorian jedi with anger issues through the roof and padme is there to 'look after her'.
jango's inability to be normal about kote (his obi-clone) definitely partially comes from the fact that jango wants, more than anything, to break obi-wan down and become a loyal mandalorian. but obi-wan just won't break so kote is kind of the next best thing. and the more kote acts loyal to jango the more jango buys into the idea of kote actually having feelings for jango despite the fact that jango literally tortured kote that one time. (though to be fair, kote does have feelings for jango--unending rage). jango's so invested in this fantasy that he ends up pretty much making kote his consort and giving him armor etc which is great until kote calls him out on the yearly 'fight jango' day and kicks jango's ass on live television
cody's infatuation with his obi-clone is A Lot because he looks like obi-wan the way obi-wan used to, when cody was young and needed that emotional support. his obi-clone (goes by kenobi with the mandos, ori with his brothers) offers a similar kind of emotional support and cody needs that so bad that his brain is kind of melting because of it. he's not even really interested in kenobi as a person--just the kind of support he provides--but he doesn't really have the emotional self-awareness to understand that. unfortunately, kenobi isn't even a little bit interested in cody except that keeping an eye on cody and his jedi-hunting squad is extremely important to their empire destruction plan
seriously. there are so few well-adjusted mandos in this story. maybe dex counts? he's only there for like two scenes but he's mostly normal
ask me questions about parasitic extraction, the role reversal mandalorian empire au that I have

some more concept stuff for my leaders of progression side story. originally i was gonna like. put the long version of it on this post but i feared it was too long, so i’ll give you the shorter version (but i’ll be posting the longer version too in its own post a little later).
so the story mainly focuses on the relationship between the saints and ultor, with the end of it leading into the srtt rewrite. it’s autumn 2012. the saints have been doing dirty work for ultor since eric gryphon became CEO and established a decent rapport with them. there’s been an increase in mining and manufacturing with eric at the helm, and the leaders of progression, a gang that's been around for decades through many iterations/names, has an issue with this. they begin to threaten and humiliate ultor and eric, causing eric to ask anteros to be his hitman and kill them. anteros refuses initially as he personally has no issue with them, but eric says he’ll give him everything he has on dex if he does this. anteros agrees; he’s successful in getting rid of several important members, but he’s spotted. he escapes, but the LoP have declared the saints enemies as well.
meanwhile troy discovers what eric’s doing to anteros/the saints and meets with him, demanding he stop immediately. but eric threatens him back by showing candid photos of him and anteros together; he could end him by this afternoon if he wanted. the confrontation ends in an apparent draw, but it’s clear eric has the upper hand.
in my canon there’s a stilwater zoo and aquarium, with the leaders of progression basically having control over it. with that in mind, LoP’s threats escalate with them kidnapping ultor execs one by one, each time their corpses found in the habitats of some animals in the stilwater zoo/aquarium. they even let an elephant loose to trample everything in the ultor district one night. it’s a wild (pun intended) couple of weeks. there’s lots of other story beats that i’m skipping over for the sake of brevity, but basically this all culminates in anteros having the decision to kill eric gryphon or not. he chooses not to, and this leads into eric offering the saints a chance to “expand their horizons” by becoming a brand.

Some Updates
I've been working hard over the past several weeks to get things prepped and ready to go, and I'm finally ready to talk about what I've been working on!
Patreon and Early-Access Content
Firstly, and probably most importantly, I've set up a Patreon! Worry not; exclusive content is not one of the benefits I offer, instead opting for early access content. Anything I post to Patreon will be made publicly available shortly thereafter, both on Patreon itself as well as in the new Projects channels in my Discord! No one should feel obligated to become a patron; if you have the cash to spare and want to support me and/or be able to see what I'm working on a little bit earlier than everyone else, that's when I would say becoming a patron is appropriate for you.
D&D Origins: Modularized
While the version of D&D Origins that's available on Modrinth is my pride and joy, the format I made it in doesn't allow much room for expansion; in its current form, its nearly 1,000 files make it rather resource-intensive, and I want to rectify that. This is why I plan on posting a modular version of the pack -- that is to say, a version where each race and each class are posted separately from each other, but will still work in conjunction with each other when combined. This allows for players to pick and choose the specific races and classes they want to be made available, whether for a single-player experience or a multi-player server. Additionally, this will allow me to create more content for the pack that can be very easily integrated with the existing material.
The first three race and class modules, as well as the Human and Commoner modules, have been posted to my Patreon and will be made publicly available in the #dnd-origins-modularized channel of my Discord one week from today. Thereafter, a race and class module will be posted on a bi-weekly basis, with Pokedex: Origins packs being posted on the off-weeks, and made available to the public one week after the initial posting.
Pokedex: Origins
Pokedex: Origins is, at least for now, in a state where I feel comfortable posting it! I still need to collect a handful of assets before I can post the companion mod to Modrinth, but I'm comfortable posting the individual evolutionary lines -- first to Patreon, and then to the #pokedex-origins channel in my Discord. The plan for now is to post the Generation I starters, followed by the evolutionary lines I created for playtesters, and then going in dex order. Patrons will have the ability to request specific 'mons be moved to the front of the queue, but everything will get made eventually. As mentioned above, I plan to post one evolutionary line on a bi-weekly basis, alternating with my D&D Origins: Modularized content.

An Initial DEX Offering (IDO) is a type of crowdfunding in which cryptocurrency projects can launch their native token or coin via a decentralised exchange (DEX). The IDO model is the infamous successor to ICOs, allowing projects to raise funds on their own for growth and development. https://www.dunitech.com/IDO-Development.aspx

Void Terror - CR8 Demon
A two-headed massive demonic beast from Warcraft.
Tumblr media
Artwork by Alexander Alexandrov, from World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, copyright Blizzard Entertainment.
Void terrors are hulking four-legged, two-headed beasts native to a layer of the Abyss that resembles a infinite jagged mountainous landscape being continuously erased by an ever-expanding tidal wave of negative energy. The void terrors, masters of this layer, spend their existence outrunning the void, and searching for portals to other layers of the Abyss or elsewhere. Those that have escaped often willingly serve other demons or even mortals, offering them the void powers they have mastered, and typically consider periodic rampaging at another creature's behest to be relaxing compared to the eternity of fleeing they were once subjected to.
Void terrors are originally from World of Warcraft, where they're a relatively uncommon type of demon. They have a variety of powers and even come in different sizes, so I plan to release a couple of variant void terrors as well. This stat block represents the most common type of void terror.
The eye sentinels it summons are from Aventyr Bestiary, copyright 2017 AAW GAMES LLC.
Void Terror - CR 8
Numerous eye stalks peek over the two heads of this massive dog-like creature, the size of an elephant.

SPECIAL ABILITIES
Bleak Stomp (Su) As a standard action once every 3 rounds, a void terror can stomp on the ground, creating a shockwave of negative energy. All creatures within a 20 ft. burst, other than the void terror, take damage as if hit by one of the void terror's bite attacks, and fall prone. A DC 21 Fortitude save halves the damage and negates falling prone. The save DC is Strength-based.
Breath Weapon (Ex) As a standard action once every 1d3+2 rounds, a void terror can use its two-headed breath weapon. It breathes fire in two 30-ft. cones, dealing 6d6 fire damage to creatures in either cone. A creature caught in both cones takes 8d6 fire damage instead. A DC 20 Reflex save halves the damage. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Positive Energy Weakness (Ex) Although a living creature, a void terror takes damage from positive energy as if it were undead. It is not healed by negative energy.
Summon Sightless Eyes (Sp) As a 1-round action, as a spell-like ability, three times per day, a void terror can summon 2d4 eye sentinels with the fiendish template. These eye sentinels have blindsight to a radius of 120 ft. At will as a standard action, an eye sentinel summoned by a void terror can make a touch attack (typically +4) against a target to deal 1d8 negative energy damage and blind and deafen the target for 1 round unless it succeeds on a DC 14 Fortitude save. Undead are healed by this effect. The save DC is based on the eye sentinel's Wisdom. Summoned eye sentinels automatically return to the layer of the Abyss they came from after 1 hour.
Treat summon sightless eyes as a 4th-level conjuration [summoning] spell.

*rubs hands* time to drop some random world building lore!
The reason why the Gingko Guild has a branch in Hoenn is because Ginter and Occo used to be quite close friends back when they were young adults (they are still in good terms). Back when Ginter was a lone traveler and ended up in Hoenn a young Occo, soon to be leader of the Hoenn aviator corps, would immediately approach him, so they became friends (after initially teasing the hell out of each other).
Occo always had a love for bird Pokémon, but he was also very reckless, and one day he foolishly got too close to a storm of wild Skarmorys, that immediately attacked him. Ginter comes to the rescue and saves Occo, that since then he feels like he owes him a favor, thus offered to help with Ginter’s business and founded the Ginkgo Hoenn branches, that also integrated Occo’s original profession of the aviator.
Tumblr media
The now old men discussing about their shady adoptive sons.. :’)
Tumblr media
Occo: SWABLU SWEETHEART, NOOOO!!
Ginter: Oh, shit.. :|
Tumblr media
Occo: Oh.. You saved me.. I owe you my life!
Ginter: Yea, you shut the fuck up now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Getting their design down (first row is their aviator attire, the second one their Ginkgo outfits) The Hoenn merchants actually keep some elements from the aviator profession in their looks, so you can tell them apart from an Hisuian merchant.
Tumblr media
Occo: I’ve been through quite some troubles to get this. It’s a one time cuss pass, use it wisely.
Emmet: Oh, I absolutely will! Thank you! :’>)
Tumblr media
Swablu’s dex entry says it likes to land on people’s heads and act like a hat, so I like to think that’s how Occo first met his Swablu.. :’)

This conversion is coming very early in my Kobold Press conversions as a request by one of my Patreon backers. He was looking for a 13th Age conversion for the devil shark for some water adventures, and the devil shark from the Creature Codex was a selected option for it. If you'd like to make your own monster requests, you can back my Patreon to add your voice!
Devil sharks are massive predators that can handle themselves in a fight with most other aquatic creatures. Aggressive and voracious, they gorge themselves on as much food as possible to sustain themselves through month or year long dormancies. Sea devils occasionally attempt to work with devil sharks, offering them sacrifices as food to curry its favor, though rarely can they actually direct one to targets to their advantage. Rather, generally they can simply buy themselves safety from the shark's predation - at least until they fail to provide enough food to satisfy it, at which point they become the next meal.
Inspired by the Tome of Beasts 1. This post came out a week ago on my Patreon. If you want to get access to all my monster conversions early, as well as access to my premade adventures and other material I’m working on, consider backing me there!

After the Strike, the shark splashes back down into the water. Freezing Breath (cold, magical) The devil shark sprays supernaturally cold water that deals 11d8 cold damage in a 60-foot cone (DC 32 basic Reflex save). A creature that fails the save is also pushed 10 feet away from the devil shark (or 20 feet on a critical failure). Slashing Tail +9 vs. AC - 15 damage. Quick Use: The shark can make this attack as a free action if it has no enemies swallowed after making a jagged jaws attack during its turn. C: Freezing Breath +9 vs. PD (1d4 nearby or far away enemies in a group) - 15 cold damage. Natural Even Hit: The target pops free from each enemy it’s engaged with and loses its next move action. Miss: 5 cold damage. Limited Use: 1/battle, when the escalation die is 2+. Blood Frenzy: The devil shark gains a bonus to its attacks and damage equal to the escalation die when it attacks staggered enemies. Creatures with no blood (constructs, oozes, plants, many undead) don’t trigger this ability. Swallow Whole: While a creature is swallowed whole, it takes 4d6 acid damage at the start of its turn, and is stuck, hampered, and unable to attack or affect anything outside the shark’s stomach (and vice-versa). It can attack the shark’s stomach from inside, but any weapons it uses have their damage dice reduced to d6’s if they were higher. If the shark takes 15 or more damage during a single turn, it must make a hard save (16+); on a failure, it is forced to regurgitate all swallowed enemies and spits them out somewhere nearby.
