It’s been raining again and my fascination with water droplets continues. They are quite magical in the way that they capture the light and reflect the world around. As miniature lenses they magnify the microtextures of the things that they settle on revealing new worlds not normally seen by the naked eye. Makes me think of how our tears reveal the depths of who we are and what moves us to express joy or sorrow. I can see a series of new designs emerging. I can’t wait to get back to drawing and painting again. I’ve been fantasising about converting s as minibus into a mobile art studio camper van so that I can wander the hills and dales exploring the grand, open vistas of wide open land and seascapes whilst zooming in on the minutiae and intricate details in nature. In the meantime, we have moving to be done. Some more shifting, sifting and sorting, getting rid of things that I’ve outgrown, giving away things I no longer use and generally decluttering. It’s another catharsis happening. The planets seem to be aligning for us to make the changes we’ve been working towards. All in flow of course.
