"...Oh fudge." Max mutters

"What?" Kim asks helping a youngling put on their shoes

"Lux is gonna blow a gasket. Get the report ready." Max mumbles sprinting over to the Irascor watching the scene unfold before him.

Gylka was playing next to Lux when his little tail accidently knocked over the bigger youngling's fort. The apex predator's face slowly turned purple with rage before he roared and leaped towards Gylka.

"LUX!" Max shouts just as he catches the ape mid jump. Twirling he sits down on the ground hard and immediately traps the youngling in a bear hug, pressing Lux's back firmly to his chest.

"HE BROKE IT! HE BROKE MY FORT! HE BROOOKE IT!!" screams Lux clawing at Max's arms trying to break free and grab the other youngling.

"I saw the whole thing Lux, it was an accident." Grunts the human, wincing as the youngling's claws dig into his arms

The youngling ignores Max, screaming and roaring at Gylka who is carried away by a cooing Kim, soothing the frightened child.

Minutes pass and the other younglings watch from a safe distance Lux thrashing and biting their other teacher.

"Lux, it's okay it was an accident." Nova, a small tighalax, creeps forward trying to calm her fellow classmate.

"We can build a new fort-"

"Woah there!" Kim yelps swinging the feline like youngling by the scruff away from Lux's swiping claws.

"Lux!" scolds Max.

"Let's, uh, give Lux and Max some space alright kids?" Kim says ushering the kids away. 'Call parents?' she mouths

'Just report it' he mouths back

..

Max has to restrain Lux till his parents come, which after the time the Captain came to pick up Nova.

"Papa!" she squeals leaping into his arms purring.

"...Max...Lux." he awkwardly greets the human on the ground bear hugging the hissing apex.

"Heya Captain!" Max grins, wincing as Lux thrashes against Max for the thousandth time.

"Lux got mad cause Gylka accidently broke their fort but it was an accident! And Gylka said sorry." Nova said looking pointedly at Lux.

"He broke it!" Lux screams

"...is this the first time this has happened?"

"...no."

"Max...if you need help ask me. You don't have to suck it up." Captain mutters glancing at the youngling in the human's arms.

"...really? You can...do that?"

"If its a problem, which it looks like it is, and you have proof of this happening 3 or more times then absolutely."

"Lux your parents are here!" Nova shouts looking at the Irascor couple.

"...so what'll it be?"

"...please help." the human sighs.

...

"So its official, Lux is gone, transferring to a centre that's specialized in caring for kids who need more one-on-one care like them." Kim sighs cracking open a iced tea.

"Is it bad I'm happy?" Max mutters fiddling with the bandaids on his arms.

"Listen, Lux needs attention and care that we just can't give. We're not trained for that. Also the parents kinda sucked." she hands him a coke

"Yeah...man I'm happy the Captain did that."

"I'm happy Nova so brutally told the truth to Lux' parents, did you see their faces? Priceless." Kim laughs remembering how eagerly the feline told the parents all of the thing Lux did when he got too upset.

"No one's more brutal in truth telling than a child." Max grins

"She's the reason why I cut back on the snacks, she literally came up to me and patted my stomach saying that I must be eating for two. she called me pregnant Max! With that sweet little smile on her face!"

He snorts his coke and laughs through the choking.

ᴛʏᴘᴇs ᴏғ 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑 ɪɴ ᴀɴᴄɪᴇɴᴛ ɢʀᴇᴇᴄᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ʀᴏᴍᴇ

In both Ancient Greek and Latin literature we can find three types of anger. Even if they can seem similar they differ from each other mostly for what causes them; whereas in latin these three angers are connected and are the source of one another, in greek they are separated and are caused by different things.

Lets see them:

μῆνις (mênis): wrath, anger that lasts. The same anger Achilles feels in the opening of the Iliad.

ὀργή (orgē): fury, caused voluntary; thanks to drugs and alcohol the use of reason is lost. Characteristic of bacchantes (maenad): in their Dionysian rituals they assumed narcotic substances. From this word also comes the word "orgy".

χόλος (chòlos): momentary anger. From this word comes the word "colon".

Seneca recognise three stages that lead to anger:

rabies: momentary anger. (My sibling eats the last slice of pizza, my slice of pizza, I'm angry because of that, but after some time I'm not angry anymore)

ira: anger that lasts. (I'm still angry with my sibling for eating my slice of pizza, I will make 'em pay for what they did)

furor: loss of reason, caused by lack of control (I'm too angry, I can’t control my self, how my sibling dared to eat my pizza?!? I k!ll them for what they did)

They form from the deponent verb irascor.

(no sibling has been hurt in the making of this post)

Another traditional art piece for this week. And guess what? Another snarly thing! This time a demon hound, or demon wolf. Drawn using pencil then outlined with pens. I’ve decided to go with the name Irascor for this being, which is evidently latin for ‘to fly into a rage’ or things along that line. Basically, no talky, he angy. :)

Irascore (the e is silent) is, in short, my first OC ever created, and the one who have a full backstory (altrough it need some more work :\) .

In short:  " Irascore is the last one of the Royal Chitin, the highest rank of the old changeling hive, second only to Royalty for power and first in line for battle, and one of those who survived the great extermination of the changelings. However, Irascore is something a bit different, more like an anomaly, something that should not exist: is known that, when a new queen is going to hatch, all other eggs get into some kind of "sleep mode", and stops till the new queen's birth, since the queen have to share part of her power to her successor. Irascor, however, seems to hadn't gone into this state, and part of the old queen Erestra’s (Mother of the Great Hive) power got into him, making the changeling some kind of "prince" and step-brother of Chrysalis and her two other sisters, Cocoonia and Rantula. 

Thanks to this, is lifespawn and powers got above the avarage changelings, and he got the role of Royal Captain and leader of the Royal Chitin. In battle, he was known for his tremendus powers, and his spells rotated between fire and force, refusing to use his shape shifting powers for spying on the enemy and using it to smash all his opposers. Alas however, nothing, even his "mother" powers, couldn't save the hive to the Solar Purge, a a spell forbidden and forgotten by Celestia's herself for preserving her father's memory, the great King Solaris (since this act was one of the King’s last days of sanity, but that is another story). An act that only he and Chrysalis remember.  After that day, Irascore's mind felt into a deep state of anger and delusion, as his body shattered under Solaris' attack.

To this day, he serves as a counselor, and even after Thorax's proclamation (and the reformation of the changeling kind), he manteined his apereance, since is incapable of feeling nor sharing love. For not speaking of seeng here and there Celestia and not been capable of slicing her troath without starting a new war. As he said, he is only loyal to Thorax for the fact that both are changelings, and one day the new king will understand what is good to his kind, but of course this are just the words of an old, sad changeling, who's only sentiments he feel (and feed on) are anger and pain.

However, he is secretly one of the founders of the Cult of the Old Queen, with his two other and slightly forgotten sisters..."

Hope you guys will love him as i do. Even if he will hate it, but just ignore his grumpy attitude.

Fun fact: his name have a meaning related to his state of mind: “Ira” means Wrath and “Core” means Heart, so his name can be translated to Wrathful Heart.
