Can you help bring new "Matt Marriott" collections to print?
“Matt Marriott” is a much-admired western strip first published from 1955 until 1977, and comic archivist Paul Duncan has appealed again for any clippings, proofs, or originals fans may own, to assist in new English language collections

I read Hot Fuzz not as copaganda but as a rather overt condemnation of the vigilante cop trope and the very messed up damage people can inflict on an entire community when given unlimited authority.
The whole "break a bunch of laws for the greater good" thing is explicitly stabbed at, mocked and ultimately condemned as the central villains are revealed to have the pettiest motives for murdering random people.
The police chief was like Dirty Harry on steroids with a bloody cult on his side that needn't be held accountable for anything.
The main character Nicholas Angel grew up feeling lied to about people's supposed noble intentions, and lies were what kept true justice at bay in Sandford until an abused, neglected son decided to hold his dad accountable regardless of the consequences for himself.
Parental abuse, country bigotry, purposeful deceit and misdirection by authority figures, blind hatred and the impulses that followed.
These are not subtly hinted at, these are front and centre in Edgar Wright's Hot Fuzz.
To think it was a film from 2007, too.
Also David Bradley was funny as hell.

Renewed appeal for “Matt Marriott” art as English language collections hopes soar
Do you have any original “Matt Marriott” that could help make planned collections of this classic Western strip all the better?

Thinking so much about Yancy Murdoc and Eric being the kids of Marc and Celine (and William lolol) Yancy and Murdoc are twins, Marc’s bio kids Erics the youngest and William’s bio kid. Heavily based off of @ghiertor-the-gigapeen‘s family au, love their art pls go check em out After the murders Eric ends up in the hands of Edgar, who sells him to Derek. He promptly changes Eric’s name to Erek and gets him to work just like the other kids he gets from Ed. Yancy takes the fall for the murders after being hypnotized by Murdoc and ends up in prison. He was probably a teen, so ended up in juvey where he continued to act out, landing in Happy Trails after turning 18. I haven’t watched Space yet tbh so Murdoc does whatever he does lol Each of them being bio related to Celine, they each have supernatural-based powers of their own. Murdocs is hypnosis Yancys have something to do with his tattoos, maybe hes a Ceer too? But through his tattoos instead of getting proper visions. Erics haven’t popped up yet, and being combined with his potential to go mad like Wil? Who knows They eventually all live in The Iplier Manor™️. Yancy sees Dark as The Warden, as thats what hes used to. So sees Dark as a parental figure without even knowing hes technically his mom lol. Is represented by the DA (Whether they’re a ghost or mirror man- they’re around somewhere) in court when applying for parole and getting his name legally changed to Yancy! He still visits Happy Trails of course, and even works there as a guard after getting off parole while doing acting on the side. Murderslaughter is *very* proud of him. Erics figuring out legal stuff with the DA to be emancipated from Derek while take legal action against him and Ed Hes also in therapy- physical and mental- while dating Ayano! (Yandereplier) My mans getting his life together! He also goes skating with Wilford the Jims and Bing from time to time! I honestly don’t know much about Murdoc, so Murdoc fans feel free to leave what you think. Might add more if I get ideas!

Maybe you haven`t notised I`m Wrights fan But this film is a paraducks for me `cause I hate trillers and horrors (fun fact: “Scary movie” really terryfied me...) but falled in love with “Last night in Soho” concept. Reboot geese are made for it If we change Sandy`s “work” to an actress. I don`t want to spoiler any detail, hope you`ll watch it and understand why I consider Jim and Drake as characters in same situation I don`t know why but I started to collect concepts which look like a story about Jim and his great failure in past and nowadays. Idol things, you know And I feel like I`ve written a lot words without any sence
