Hey LMK fandom :3 some of you probably know me and some probably don't but I wrote the discontinued story "True Inferno"‼️because I didn't like how it was going lolol after discontinuing the story I've been doing my own thing until I watched the latest season and I got back into it :)) sorry to leave you guys hanging on True Inferno but its over.

I'm making new lore for my sona and a better story for him ^^ I just want to show you what I've got so far.

Here's his new look! I love this one more cause it looks more colourful like the actual bird he's based on Fenghuang

He's got his own little peaceful village up in the mountains that he protects and like I said I still am working on his story hahshdh

Also most of you probably remember that he has an evil counterpart named :

JiuFeng and I'll be redesigning him too. Probably not alot but a change anyways. This is what his first design looked like ( kinda cringe to see my old drawings jsbjsdh )

He is supposed to be the villain in True Inferno but I'm the rewrite I'm gonna make him a good guy with a villain background. Or something... One of the scenes in my head was that he took care of the village while Fenghuang and MK and the others went out to defeat whatever evil MK is facing then. ( Poor guy he's no good with the village kids ) but yeah that's all I have for him.

Vulture Peak and Journey to the West

Journey to the West states that "Vulture Peak" (Sk: Gṛdhrakūṭa, गृद्धकूट; Ch: Jiufeng/Jiuling/Lingjiu xianshan, 鷲峰/鷲嶺/靈鷲仙山) is the home of the Buddha. For example, in chapter 98, an immortal tells Tripitaka:

"Sage Monk, look at the spot halfway up the sky, shrouded by auspicious luminosity of five colors and a thousand folds of hallowed mists. That's the tall Spirit Vulture Peak, the holy region of the Buddhist Patriarch" (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 4, p. 343).

聖僧，你看那半天中有祥光五色、瑞藹千重的，就是靈鷲高峰，佛祖之聖境也。

The Biography of the Eminent Monk Faxian (Gaoseng Faxian zhuan, 高僧法顯傳, c. 5th-century) explains the etymology for this name:

Thirty steps northwest [from where the Buddha meditated] is a cave grotto where Ānanda sat in meditation. The deva Mara Pisuna transformed into a vulture in front of the exit in order to scare Ānanda. But the Buddha parted the rock with his supernatural power and stretched his hand inside the grotto to rub Ānanda's shoulder. Thus, his fear promptly stopped. The bird tracks and the hole in the rock are still present. Therefore, this place is called the Mountain of Vulture Cave. [1]

西北三十步復有一石窟。阿難於中坐禪。天魔波旬化作鵰鷲住窟前恐阿難。佛以神足力隔石舒手摩阿難肩。怖即得止。鳥迹手孔今悉在。故曰鵰鷲窟山。

EXCERPTS ON XUE YU AND KINDNESS (not in chronological order for the book but shhh)

i.

Shuoyou opened his eyes slowly. On his shoulder, upon his hands still hung the frost white threads, and when his consciousness returned the first image he saw clearly was Xue Yu pressing her fingers to her brow.

Her face was so pale it had a sickly sheen, a sign of overexertion.

He thought she would wait until he'd opened his eyes, awakened completely, and then tell him, coldly, how generous a kindness she had done him, and then warn him that he should remember his debt of gratitude and become useful to her.

But she didn't. She said nothing.

She said she would reconnect his meridians, and so she did just that. When she was done, she left without lingering.

A person like that, with that kind of status - if she wasn't seduced by his looks, didn't want to make use of his demon core, then why did she save him from the Court of Judgment, personally reconnect his meridians, use the best medicines on him?

A lowly half demon half ghost with his cultivation taken away that wasn't even worth the price of the Seven Color Elixir used on him.

ii.

Chaonian's gaze fell on Xue Yu's hands, slender and without imperfection. He had seen with his own eyes when these hands flung into the air and snowflakes the size of goosefeathers came down from the sky like a butchering knife in the hands of a reaper, blood forming rivers where they fell.

Just in meting reward and punishment, equally loved and feared - some demons claimed her for a comrade, and others hated her deep in their bones.

Chaonian grew up with Chaohua and knew since childhood - the heir a Holy Realm has produced is most used to blood. Even with a kind heart, they could not give away kindness carelessly.

Shuoyou lifted his head, bewitching peach blossom eyes widened, voice and words so light as if he could not understand: "A demon ghost for a mission from the fate book."

And the gratitude of the local villagers, the praise of elders and family, fame equal to that of a rising sun.

"Isn't that worth it?" He tilted his head, the question posed with childish innocence, expression worn on beautiful features seeming wronged, at a loss, blameless and arousing pity.

Xue Yu stood silently for a moment, as if she didn't know how to answer, or else she was thinking seriously about how to answer.

"I don't know what it would be to others." Her eyes imprisoned a shard of broken light, and facing Shuoyou's questioning gaze, she said, slowly: "For me, it isn't worth it."

iv.

She was born a noble, but she wasn't arrogant, conceited, but rather solemn and calm and decisive, and what was the most surprising was that underneath that face as cool as white snow, there actually was a kind and soft heart.

She said twice to give up on the mission, but stayed twice. Once because the lightnings hurt people, once because of Yunlai's death.

She saw the lives of both demons and humans as precious.

Just now, she only said that Shuoyou was clever, had great potential, knew how to deal with people and affairs, and did not mntion that he was a demon ghost, that thy were born lowly, wicked, untrustworthy.

Someone like that seemed automatically shrouded in a magnetic charisma.

v.

In the ancient array, Xue Yu stood in place. The wind howled and dragged, and the frost mark between her brows had not yet disappeared. When she looked down, it was as a god descending to earth.

And then, the god bent down and picked up the rope, five scallion-like fingers fell upon the victim's eyelids and closed his eyes.

Without pity, without mercy - the slight movement was only rooted in her honor and respect for others.

The respect she held for an ordinary mortal, whose death was a horrific scene.

vi.

Shuoyou's lips pressed into a cool line. Sometimes he thought Xue Yu's personality was disadvantageous.

He had a keen sense and realized the slight change of her attitude. Ever since he tried to draw out Jiufeng with the demon array, since he stormed Prince Zhao's estate, for him she cultivated his talents without holding back an ounce of her ability.

She was giving him the best chance to learn.

As soon as someone gave her their loyalty and she realized it, though she did not speak of it and did not show it on her face, she repaid them with sincerity.

This sincerity, hidden beneath ice and frost, was moving, but was easily misunderstood.
