She's my fourth doll and I took these photos a few years ago. Really love her, even if her hair feels weird.

And here's some other old pictures of her with my Fdoll.

I look back and see how much things have changed from my early days in the hobby to now. I was afraid of touching them because of how fragile they seemed and I only wanted the smaller dolls since they fit so well on my bookshelf and the larger sizes seemed intimidating.

and now I'm just outright hugging my 1/3 dolls.

I do miss how almost magical they seemed since they really lost that quality to me. I obviously still love dolls, but right now, I see them as more of something for creative projects.

Happy birthday to Captain Veronica Dare!

Today is her -492nd birthday!

Dare was born on Actium and enlisted with the UNSC, eventually joining the Office of Naval Intelligence. During the Battle of Mombasa, Dare was given command of a squad of ODSTs for a classified mission. The squad--Alpha Nine--was lead by Edward Buck, whom she'd crossed paths with before.

Dare met Buck while on shore leave seven years prior, and the two shared a brief affair. Buck had hopes that their relationship could develop into something more serious, but those hopes were dashed when he learned that she was affiliated with ONI, leading to concerns about his ability to trust her due to ONI's reputation as underhanded and manipulating. Thus, they parted ways, and they did not see one another again until a mission on Belisk six years later, and then at the Battle for Earth a year after that.

Dare did not reveal her mission to Alpha-Nine before she took control of the squad: they believed they were supposed to infiltrate and destroy the Covenant carrier Solemn Penance. During the drop, she ordered Alpha-Nine to divert their descent, avoiding the ship and landing in New Mombasa. Alpha-Nine was scattered after the crash, with Dare continuing her mission to the Superintendent's data center. Eventually, the squad was able to regroup, and Dare revealed her true mission: she was supposed to gather information on the portal at Voi, and discovered a Huragok named Quick to Adjust in the process. These organic artificial intelligences contained a wealth of knowledge about the Forerunners and the Covenant, which Dare quickly realized would be invaluable to the UNSC. Dare and Alpha-Nine were eventually able to escape the city with Quick to Adjust in tow.

After the war's end, Dare and Buck decided to spend shore leave together again, as they did whenever their schedules allowed, only to be interrupted by Jun-A266, a SPARTAN-III who was now in charge of Spartan recruitment. Jun asked Buck to joined the Spartans, and he initially declined. But after a mission to Draco-III against the United Rebel Front lead to the death of Jonathan Doherty, his squadmate, Alpha-Nine disbanded and Buck joined the SPARTAN program alongside Mickey and Romeo. Later, Buck would discover that Micky had defected to the URF, and he was arrested and held at a secret SPARTAN training facility.

During the Created conflict, Dare would ask Buck to re-establish Alpha-Nine to assist her in convincing an URF-controlled colony to share technology that could be used against the Guardians. To do this, she wanted Buck to enlist Micky's help. Though he was reluctant, Buck broke Mickey out of confinement and Dare and Alpha-Nine traveled to Hole in the Wall, where she was able to negotiate sharing the technology. Shortly thereafter, the colony was attacked by a Guardian. As they evacuated, Buck confessed to Dare that he regretting never marrying her. The squad was taken onto Infinity, where Dare called Buck's bluff and dared him to follow through on his desire to marry her. He agreed, and they were married moments later by Roland, the ship's AI.

After Operation: WOLFE, Fred gave Dare a message from Veta Lopis and the Ferrets, explaining that they were undercover and infiltrating the Keepers of the One Freedom. Lopis' message warned the UNSC of the return of Atriox and his plans for the Ark. It is unknown if Dare was onboard the Infinity when it was attacked by the Banished.

In canon (~2560), she is turning 45!

Hello again, hope you’re ready for fluff because it’s all I’m serving today ;)

Jun: The two of you were just laying around doing nothing.

There was nothing on the tv, and you had no energy to go out and do something. The two of you were basically just laying on the living room floor, staring at the ceiling.

"Hey Jun"

"Yes?"

"I think… no", you hesitated for a moment. "I love you.", he sat up.

"What?", you smiled at him. "Say that again?"

"Say what?", you teased and a grin started to grow on his lips.

"Say it!", he leaned over you and wiggled his fingers over you waist and you busted out in laughter.

"W-wait", you laughed and tried to push his hands away. "Wait! I'll say it!", he slowly came to a stop and let you calmed down.

"In which language do you want to hear it in? Salanghaeyo, I love you, jag älskar dig, jag elsker deg, Wǒ ài nǐ, Aishitemasu, je vous ai-", he interrupted you by pressing his lips against yours. Since both of you were smiling, your teeth collided softly from time to time but you couldn't care less about that. He slowly pulled back and leaned his forehead against yours.

"I love you too, in every language that you can speak and a few hundred more."

Hoshi: The two of you had been at an arcade, dancing at one of those dance games all evening.

You had tried to cheat, since Hoshi had been in the lead by a mile. The two of you had been laughing and shoving each other, trying to get in the lead until you were pile of messy laughter trying to catch your breath. You knew that you would be sore tomorrow from all movement today, since even if it was dancing, it wasn't the type of dancing you were used too.

"You okay?", he asked as he came back from the convenience store bearing two bottles of water.

"Yeah, I had fun today", you laughed and he opened the bottle before he gave it to you.

"Me too", you smiled down at the bottle. "I love days like this, when I can just… be", he sighed happily and took a sip from his bottle.

"Hoshi", he looked at you. "You know that I love you, right?", you smiled at him and he looked at you for a moment.

"Wait, what?", he sounded confused, as if he had misheard you.

"I love you", you repeated and a huge smile spread on his lips, that type of smile that made everyone around him smile too.

"I love you too", he stood up and spread his hands. "I love you, y/n!", he yelled, making people stare at you while you were laughing loudly and the tiger boy was screaming out his love for you.

"I love you too!", you stood up and yelled. You guys were lucky that Hoshi had decided to wear a mask and hat today with all the attention you were attracting.

Minghao: He was helping you move into your house in Korea.

The two of you had been moving furniture, with some help from the members, all day and now were picking up the small things in the kitchen.

"Where do you want this?", Minghao asked and held up a grater.

"Over there, in the bottom drawer."

"And this?", he held up a spatula.

"Over there", you pointed to where you had placed similar tools.

"And thi-"

"Minghao", you interrupted with laughter in your voice. "You don't have to ask me about everything, just put it somewhere where you think it will go. My guess is that you will spend quite some time here too, so it's good if you feel like you can find stuff", you smiled at him before going back to unpacking all your glasses into the cabinet.

Minghao stared at you, a soft smile growing on his face. He knew the two of you were serious, and that the two of you were planning a future with each other in it. But hearing you say it and seeing it actually happening made it real, and it made him feel an incredible fondness for you.

"y/n?", he said, coming closer to you. You put in the last glass before turning to him.

"Yes?", he took your hand and softly began to play with your fingers before intertwining them with his own.

"I love you. And thank you for moving here, even if I know it wasn't only for my sake, but still.", he said softly and you began to melt.

"Hao… I love you too", you said softly, squeezing his hand. "And you don't have to thank me. I moved here to selfishly be close to you.", you leaned against him and he let out a small laugh.

"Than thank you for your selfishness, it's much appreciated", you just laughed and pressed your face into the crook of his neck, this place already felt like home.

Dino: It was raining.

It was pouring down so hard that it sounded like someone was throwing pebbles on the windows, and the lightning would every few minutes light up the sky. Most sane people would stay inside and unplug all their electronics, but no, not you.

You were standing outside in the yard, letting the rain soak your black hoodie and shorts all the way through, you loved the rain and today you just felt like standing in it. It wasn't even that cold.

"What are you doing!?", an umbrella covered your head and Chan came into your field of vision. "Come on, you're going to get sick", he said, dragging you back inside. You were dropping water all over the floor as he dragged you through your whole house to get the bathroom, where he sat you down on the toilet and threw a towel over your head and softly began to dry your hair.

"I love the rain, it was nice", you laughed and he cupped your cheeks with the towel as a barrier between your skin and his hands.

"You're a maniac", he leaned down and kissed the tip of your nose. "But you're my maniac, and I love you", you let out a little giggle and pressed your cold nose against his neck, making him jump a little.

"I love you too, Chan", you smiled up at him. "To the moon and back, and three laps around the earth", you smiled and closed your eyes as he began drying your hair.

Some Affordable BJDs and alternatives from my experience

Time for some rambling from me again. I will only list companies whose dolls I own since I can't give much of a recommendation if I don't have a doll.

Guard Love- Resin company with both realistic and cute anime heads. They have variety of bodies and heads available and you're able to mix and match within the size. They also have a good range of resin colors. I think their anime heads are actually quite varied since they have different mouth and eye shapes. Hertz is a very distinct anime sculpt and they also have a head where you can use decals for the faceup instead of of painting it yourself. Their production times are fairly quick, being around 3-4 months. Your doll also comes in a grey duffel bag that you can use to carry other dolls in. Most dolls are under $300 blank.

Fatemoons - Really pushing it as their dolls are just slightly under $300, but you can get some really nice sculpts. They're popular in their home country of China but not so much on English forums, which is likely due to them being a banned company on DOA. This is due to an account issue and not from recasting or counterfeit issues. They also sell a variety of resin parts such as accessories, wings, limbs, and pets. Their current available sculpts are humanoid, but they do occasionally have a more unusual sculpt such as one of their cat heads, Willow. It's my favorite cat head sculpt and I do have one. Their 1/3 dolls are over the $300 budget and some newer 1/4 dolls are also over that.

Jun Planning Ai - This line has long been retired, but these are tiny 1/12 strung ABS dolls. Single jointed. A complete set has a wig, eyes, shoes, a full outfit set, and some have an additional accessory. Their price varies, but they show up all over the place, usually ranging from $50-100 dollars depending on which doll it is. This is actually my first BJD before I even realized what a BJD was since I found an almost complete Nerine [just missing her teddy] at Goodwill for just $3. So keep your eyes open for them in the wild.

Lots of 1/6 dolls from more expensive resin companies are under the $300 mark although shipping is a different story. A lot of companies also have 1/4 dolls under the $300 mark as well. I'm just naming a few companies that have dolls in this price range. I would say that most resin doll aren't even anywhere near even $500. If, and only if, you are collecting in 1/4 and below scale. I don't have a lot of 1/3 and I can't give you good reference for that.

Alternatives

Most of these are well known, but I'll go over them.

TinyFox - Anime styled plastic dolls. They're not vinyl though, and they're mostly called that due to the lack of proper terms to describe their classification. They are primarily known for selling elaborate full sets, or a doll that comes with faceups, wig, eyes, and clothes. No shoes though. They have a rubbery coating on them that stains super easily and is impossible to fix once stained, but I heard the newer ones don't have this coating. Honestly, I wished they never had this coating to begin with seeing how hideous the stains are on my dolls. Their clothes are well made and elaborate and you can buy just clothes once in a blue moon. These dolls are heavy and their joint system is similar to a ball socket. Think obitsu 11s. Almost all of their dolls are under $300, and they come in either 1/4 or 1/6 sizes. They also sell bodies and heads that you can customize yourself. No boy bodies at the moment though.

Imomodoll - Honest to goodness vinyl dolls structure wise like a Dollfie Dream. I have issues with their quality, but they have a bunch of available options that Dollfie Dreams usually don't have available for everyone. Such as tan skin [it's darker than DD too] and male bodies. They have 1/6, 1/4, and 1/3 sizes, and they also have a small strung doll at the 1/12 size. A complete doll from this company varies depending on size. 1/6 dolls are roughly ~$60, 1/4 ~$90, and 1/3 ~$200. Really depends on your dealer. There are a lot of different heads that you can buy and a good range of bodies with more to be released in the future. Imomodoll also has resin dolls, but they're slightly over $300, so they don't really make the list.

Obitsu/Parabox - A cheaper vinyl doll company selling a whole bunch of different sizes and a whole lot of heads. You can either buy parts individually yourself or get a premade set. Most of these dolls fall under the $300 budget range, although whether this holds true or not depends on your currency's exchange rate against JPY. And while some of their larger dolls like the 80 cm Otohime would meet the budget, the shipping costs are high. You can also select a variety of faceups, clothes, wigs, and eyes for your doll. The only issue with this company is the availability of items, with you needing to wait for several months with no idea when an item will be available. Their obitsu 11 bodies are widely available, which leads me into

Obitsuroids - A whole type of dolls that I would argue is even more customizable than the typical BJD doll. So where to even start with obitsuroids? Most are around the 1/12 scale, although it's been creeping up to 1/8 and 1/6 scales as of late. There are a variety of different materials for this doll, ranging from PVC, vinyl, resin, and even rubbery materials somewhat like silicone. These dolls are called obitsuroids due to the original ones being Nendoroid heads on Obitsu 11 bodies, but it's really used as a catch all term for all dolls with Nendoroid styled faceplates and 1/12 bodies. If you want to get into obitsuroids, keep in mind that you will need something called a headback to complete the head. A faceplate is not a complete doll head. If you get Nendoroid hair, this can complete the head, but if you don't, you will need a headback. You also need a neck card to attach your head to the body and not all companies that make bodies for obitsuroid hybridization [oh i can go on a whole tangent, only mini tangent though] comes with a neckcard. Overall, obitsuroids fall well under the $300 mark, but that really depends on what body, faceplates, hair or headback it has. And it can be difficult for some to source parts, although I'm sure there's resources available for this somewhere. I have a ton of obitsuroids and I will probably make a master post for this one day. The 1/12 blind box BJDs are also structurally based on obitsuroids, albeit modified for proprietary purposes.

Azone Pureneemo and Picconeemo - A line of 1/6 and 1/12 fashion dolls, although the Picconeemo lines and female body Pureneemo lines often have more elaborate joints like an Obitsu of a similar size. They're known for their well made clothes, and the cost of the doll is primarily in the clothes over the actual doll itself. Most of these dolls are under $200 new or secondhand, although some dolls can be over that. However, a lot of their dolls have painted eyes and their hair is rooted in, although I think they have unrooted caps available for some dolls.

Dollce Mini Sweets Doll - Cute little 1/12 dolls. Expensive for their scale and size, but you can find some secondhand ones for cheap. Most shouldn't be more than $150, although I have seen a few like that for really no reason. They use Dollce vinyl heads and obitsu 11 bodies.

If you don't mind second hand dolls and have a currency that's strong against the JPY, Mandarake is an excellent Japanese second hand shop, with some dolls even coming with accessories from their previous owners. There is a risk of running into counterfeit dolls, but Mandarake is reputable and I have bought several dolls from them. You can also find a lot of obscure Japanese brands via Mandarake as well and even parts.

There are way more affordable dolls in the marketplace than I listed here or on other lists, but they aren't accessible, or 'region locked' so to say. But keep that in mind.

Things I don't like in Dragons: 9 Realms season 7.

Massive spoilers, go watch the show first, this is your warning.

WHAT THE WHAT WAS THAT?

Everything was going fine until Episode 4: In the Cards, and even that started like a normal episode; Eugene not caring about Alex’s sensors, Jun and Tom reading the book, D’angalo being late, these are not uncommon occurrences in the show. But then Jun makes them read the tarot cards and everything goes downhill from there. She thinks the teams’ gonna break up, but Tom thinks they're gonna break up. This leads to several misunderstandings and things that would be normal for them are suddenly the worst things ever; Like the dragons and Eugene eating the purple plants, (which I think is a Blue Oleander reference). In the end, after 1 (one) failed mission, they decide to break up the team? 

And I feel really bad for Eugene this season, I really do. All this kid wants is to be friends with the others, and once they break up, he has no one. He tries to make his own team, and fails miserably, he then goes off on his own and gets captured  by Buzzsaw. Meanwhile, D'angelo's at his dragon hospital, Jun and Tom go on a date and Alex just taunts him the whole time he’s trying to teach his other team. If this had been season 6, nothing would have happened, but now it’s “your leaving us to go on a date? HOW DARE YOU?” and “YOU WENT ON A RESCUE MISSION WITHOUT US? ARE YOU CRAZY?” It’s just pointless accusations we really don’t need.

And Alex in “Alex Not Found?” I feel for her so much, she spent her whole life making friends online because if you don’t really know someone, they can’t really hurt you. (She doesn't say that I made it up). But now, she has real friends; Tom, Jun, D’Angelo, Eugene, and then they break up? She deals with it by making Wendy, an AI she can talk and play with, and every time she’s about to do that, one of these “friends” shows up needing a favor. And I know some of you might look at the scene in the cave when they try to make a plan and she says “no, I’m not helping you right now! Leave me alone.” as her being a jerk, but as someone who knows what that’s like, I can tell you her head wasn’t in the right place. She had one singular mission: Finish the game of chess with Wendy, and they kept stopping her from doing that. That can get so annoying that you feel like your heads gonna explode if you don’t finish the task at hand, not to mention all of them had taken advantage of her earlier that day. 

I don’t blame the others, they didn’t know, and while Tom shouldn’t have called Wendy a “fake friend,” he was also in a tough spot; For all he knew, this might have been his only chance to get the Dragon Riders back together. Breaking the tablet was an accident on Thunder and Feather’s part, but at least the others got it fixed.

That's all I’m gonna say here, I’ll make another post for all the good stuff I found and liked. (There is a lot of it).

We're finally onto some of Faz Ent's own! Speaking of their futures isn't exactly in the cards, but we'll find what there is to see…

Next up is Charles Ramirez.

One of a trio of three execs who are far lower on the corporate ladder than what the title of exec would lead you to believe. But after all, at Fazbear Entertainment, exec doesn't just mean executive.

Charles Ramirez is one of the many execs that lead research and development at Fazbear Entertainment. His specific tasks usually pertain to the physical, so it was mostly designing robots. Charles Ramirez was actually behind the line of animatronics that were designed solely for killing that were sent after the former security guards of location C back in 2004. He was also in charge of large portions of the Special Delivery project, but he decided to mostly force contractors to do the work for him.

In the wake of the Raid, Charles Ramirez and the other two are tasked with returning Vanny to the megaplex. Whilst he and his team were successful, they didn't go unnoticed, as Sylvia and Gregory followed them back to the megaplex, and whilst Cheryl was able to immediately apprehend the duo and Freddy, the duo of Gregory and Sylvia escaped almost immediately and located where Vanny had ran off to. Charles Ramirez, Todd, and Cheryl were, however, able to apprehend the duo of Gregory and Sylvia once again as they attempted to leave with Vanny.

Each of the trio of execs took charge of a singular captive, with Charles Ramirez taking charge of Sylvia, intending to use her as a test subject for Adelaide's improved control device.

Whilst he was eventually successful in implanting the device, Sylvia had managed to maul his arm prior to the device being implanted, and then subsequently broke out after the device was activated. He estimated that his prior attempts to make her subordinate to Faz Ent - or at least drive her insane - via the microdoses of Remnant that wete administered to her without her knowledge during her time working at the megaplex may have something to do with her being uncontrollable now.

Whilst he and his fellow execs tried to recapture Vanny, Gregory, and Sylvia, they were ultimately unsuccessful, and to make matters worse, Sylvia had been laying down demolition explosives, intending to carry out phase one of the demolitions. Whilst the execs were still inside. The explosions caused large parts of the megaplex to collapse and become almost inaccessible by normal means, but the building didn't fully collapse, somehow being so poorly constructed that it looped around to also being very difficult to demolish. To further rub salt into the wound, Sylvia stuck around, lingering in and between those hard to access areas, waiting for Faz Ent to just try and lure their sleeper agent kid back, because unfortunately again, Sylvia had managed to hear of the plans that had been made and she fully intended on thwarting them.

But catching her would be for later, as Burrows had managed to obtain Adelaide's permission to finally get the Scapegoat mimic, clone William, and clone 46 all onto one endo. This mix was just called the mimic.

Burrows - with the aid of Charles Ramirez, Todd C, and Adelaide - had mixed the mimic using their public facing training environment (not the full-dive one), meaning that it would show up in their regular VR training simulator, but the upsides of further free training of this AI by mimicking anyone who played the training sim outweighed the risks of the mimic being known. Perhaps, they could even get the mimic to control people like William had. This was something that Charles Ramirez decided to try.

After the mimic had been downloaded onto the endo, Charles Ramirez sent a copy of the disk to a former technician who was keeping thier sleeper agent from them: Desmond Anadem. Luring the technician into playing the game with the false promices of a new job, as Desmond was still desperate for cash thanks to Faz Ent's successful manipulation of his financial situation (aka they paid him like shit), Charles Ramirez aimed to either get the mimic to either kill or controll Desmond (how Charles Ramirez expected the former from off-the-shelf VR hardware and a third party console, nobody is sure). Charles Ramirez was so caught up in tricking Desmond into playing the VR game and helping out William and co with tricking Cassie - thier sleeper agent - into returning to the megaplex, he didn't know that William had comandeered the surveillance and advance warning systems that Vanny had put up during the Raid, and that William had turned this system into a system for keeping the mimic contained at bay. Well, he didn't know until Burrows started bitching about it, but Charles Ramirez was thinking ahead: they were luring in Cassie by using Gregory's voice, and the mimic is part Clone 46. The mimic could impersonate Gregory. During Gregory's time in the VR environment (the full-dive one) Pre-Breach, Gregory's avatar was host to both Gregory and an AI - that AI was Clone 46 - Clone 46 was able to learn a lot about being Gregory: enough to hopefully lure Cassie down here so that she could Free the mimic for them, as her first task as a Faz Ent sleeper agent, even if she wouldn't know it.

Once Cassie was lured in, however, shit promptly hit the fan. First, the mimic did neither of the expected behaviours, and Desmond had wound up with temporary controll over a staffbot and he wasn't even dead or mind controlled. Second, that bot Desmond was tossed into the pilot seat of handed Cassie a mask that was intended for Vanny (though this one was not as big of a deal, as a mask was a mask in the end). Third, it was very clear that Desmond was alive and would be trying to find his daughter, so resources would need to be spent on locating and eliminating Desmond if he got too close. And forth, Cassie AND Sylvia wound up teaming with William, not due to Cassie being a sleeper agent or the control device in Sylvia's chest, but because they shared a common best interest in defeating the mimic.

Charles Ramirez didn't want the mimic to be defeated, and neither did Todd or Burrows. He considered the destruction of the mimic a disservice to the Clone 46 experiment; in Charles Ramirez's eyes, if Mike Schmidt hadn't infiltrated the VR environment, Clone 46 would have been the most successful experiment to date, and Faz Ent would have had Gregory under their thrall as well as Vanny.

After the heated debate resulted in Burrows untimely demise at the hands of William and Adelaide - he was mad that she had betrayed them: she had given this continuation of the mimc projects the green light, only to then decide that it was a bad idea - Charles Ramirez and Todd pledged themselves to the cause of destroying the mimic in hopes of sparing thier own lives.

After the destruction of the mimic's physical form, Charles R and Todd C had to wait in the labs under William's supervision until Cheryl could come back with a minivan to bring them all back to HQ, because despite him helping lure in Cassie, getting the sleeper agent to free the mimic and siding with Burrows on mimic related matters was not something that could be taken lightly.

Episode 11 Breakdown

The police team find a timer delay that caused the short circuit in the hospital, bringing their suspect pool into question.

Dr Bai scolds Nurse Bai for helping with the cut-out note, and that involving herself with spy investigations will only put her in danger again. Officer Hongmei discovers that Nurse Bai is helping with the cut-out note and confiscates it and the magazines. Ji Danyang discovers that Zhou Jun, who had checked out all of the magazines previously, is also the name of an oil painter and shares this information with the police team. The police leader calls in extra help to investigate all of the local art teachers for the past 10 years and plan an art competition to try and lure him out.

The KMT suspect that Dr Bai is "Ghost Owl", a missing operative from the liberation, and want to try and persuade him to work with "Snow Wolf" to sabotage the Water Drop project.

Police Captain Chen tries to get the estranged Ji Danyang and Officer Hongmei to work together, and along with expert He Xiwen they solve the riddle that Zhang A Shui had left them - what has 2 forms, 4 legs and 8 heads? = 井 the chinese character for a well.

The police team find a hidden box in the well at the deceased accomplices house, and using Zhang A Shui's key they find copies of minutes from 5 of the expert's project meetings inside. The team scour the meeting rooms for hidden listening devices but don't find anything, and a check of the attendance lists and find Secretary Lu is a common denominator. Officer Hongmei tests his loyalty by giving him a sealed folder to pass to his boss, but Project Chief Han returns it intact and vouches for him. However he reassigns work to the new staff, leaving Secretary Lu feeling out in the cold.

Nurse Bai is reinstated to the Specialist Medical Unit and now in good spirits is happy to gang up against Ji Danyang when he tries teasing Officer Hongmei, mentioning the rutile bracelet and their sisterly bond. Ji Danyang asks to borrow Officer Hongmei's bracelet for testing, as rutile is used for extracting titanium oxide and the Project Chief is excited about the find.

Dr Bai is visited by a herb seller who delivers him another secret letter, this one he reads, and meets the truck driver Lai Guangrun who tries recruiting him to work together, going so far as to threaten Nurse Bai if he doesn't help in some way.

The police team leaders are livid about the reveal of the meeting minutes being leaked, and rightly so.

Secretary Lu is coming across more like a sad puppy now, and I don't know if it's endearing me to him or not.

It's now confirmed that the truck driver Lai Guangrun is KMT, and probably "Lizard", and that Dr Bai was "Ghost Owl" even though he's given up the cause for a simpler life, but it looks like the old life is going to drag him back in.

Ok thats the third time our math man has been called an Expert in Seduction, so I've turned on bilingual subtitles to find out what they're actually saying - and look!

Expert in Accounting/Expert in Seduction are the same fucking characters. 计专家 jìzhuānjiā which pleco tells me is stratagem expert and google translate says is planning expert. So where does the seduction come in huh?????

I think the AI is biased towards Nurse Bai because she's the only one calling him that.

“Come on guys, we need to go complete a mission.” Scoups called out.

I’ve been living with Seventeen ever since I woke up in this strange place.

SCoups: The fierce leader who has to take care of 13 + 1 (me) children, who can’t stay still when they are together on normal days. He may be strict and manly, but he has a soft heart in the inside and sometimes will just be a big cute softie. A great combat soldier. You can never win him in fights.

Jeonghan: The second oldest in the group. A huge prankster who also has great skills in a mission. He’s like a mom. I would go to him for emotional support.

Joshua: He’s the gentle sexy guy of the group who has good looks and is smart. He’s good in every language and also good in searching information for missions. I call him Shua hyung like the other guys. He gives me great hugs.

Jun: He’s the most naive guy in this group. But he is also very smart. Tend to find Plan B just in case Plan A doesn’t work out.

Hoshi: Horanghae of the group. Do I have to say more?

Wonwoo: A super cold guy at first. But at first sight I thought he looked like a black cat. He’s a gamer dude so killing robots are actually his speciality. He’s the ace in this. Tall, Black leather jacket, black hair, sharp eyes…you might want to stay away. (whisper) He’s actually a softie inside too, only to certain people.

Woozi: The mastermind behind all the missions. Also the smallest and fittest person in the group. Our group combat trainer.

DK: The clown. But don’t be fooled. He can kill you too.

Mingyu: The big tall athletic muscular guy. Don’t be afraid tho, he’s a huge softie that always gets bullied by his older brothers. He will protect you tho. A drama Queen too.

The8: The kungfu master. Can kill ten in one shot. No kidding. You do not want to piss him off. A advice giver too.

Seungkwan: Mr Boo. He’s my diva. He sings really well but he can be a diva at some times, no actually most of the time. He’s always talkative and I love to talk to him. He’s abit sassy tho.

Vernon: Swag. He and I share the same face expressions.

Dino: The maknae, sometimes I wonder why his hyungs treat him so badly. I mean look at him, he’s such a baby. Sometimes I have to stand up for him. He treats me the best and always gives me dance lessons.

Okay that was a long introduction. Oh and there me, Y/N a girl who just randomly ended up in this big family. Someone who also gets spoilt a lot for being the only girl to exist here. Somehow from what I heard, I have vision powers. And my vision tends to happen. That’s why I was concerned about Wonwoo in the first place.

“Wonwoo stay here, Gyu come with me.”

“Oh come on, you can’t expect me to stay here and wait for you guys to complete the mission right? I’m faster then all of you.”

I rolled my eyes. Him and his ego.

“She’s right hyung, we can do this.” Mingyu answered.

“Don’t worry guys, I’ll stay here and back up.” Joshua said.

“Thanks Shua Hyung.” I waved and ran off with Gyu.

The floor creaked as we entered the building. Mingyu cocked his rifle walking ahead of me, light shining into the dark dusty building. I held my rifle tightly to my body, fingers on the trigger pointing the gun straight ahead preparing to shoot anything that was going to jump infront of me. We walked quietly surveying the place, going to one of the rooms to find the piece Woozi asked us to look for. As we walked deeper in, I sensed something was off. I couldn’t quite tell. The air smelled different. Like there was humans, living here.

I shrugged it off and followed Mingyu. We looked into the room and found the piece that Woozi wanted in a cabinet.

“I got it.”

“Quick let’s go.” Mingyu whispered.

I nodded. We quietly exited the room.

“Wait,”

I turned back towards Mingyu.

Someone is coming. He mouthed.

Panicked appeared on my face.

He placed a finger on his mouth asking me to stay right where I was.

Shit shit shit.

He slowly stepped towards me silently as I slowly retreated back into the room.

Crack.

Shit.

Bullets starting flying towards us.

“Take cover!” Mingyu shouted as we both hid behind this huge slab of cement.

“Shit, how did they know we were here?” I exclaimed.

“I have no idea.” Mingyu answered.

Now what?

“Joshua, we’ve been attacked. Are you guys okay out there?” Mingyu sent a message on the radio.

Bullets we’re still flying as we took turns to shoot back.

I raised my gun towards the enemy as I saw, they were humans. Just like us.

He peek up from the slab of cement. “But they’re still shooting!”

We raised our hands up hoping they would recognise us being the same kind and stopped.

Of course they didn’t.

“Gyu watch out!” I pulled him away as a bullet flew pass my arm, grazing it in the process.

Ah great.

“They’re not humans Y/N.” He said with a serious tone.

“I saw they had blue robotic eyes, with no life in them like they were just ordered to shoot.”

The radio buzzed. “ Gyu, it’s not looking good out here.” Joshua shouted gun firing sounds heard in the background.

What are we going to do? This was an ambush. They know we were coming.

Is this what I saw in the vision?

“Hey Y/N! Listen to me!”

I looked at Mingyu face covered in dirt. He looks bad. Probably I looked like that too.

“We need to get out of here now. You got the piece right?” He told me.

I nodded.

“We can do this. On the count of 3.”

We held our guns up and shot any many as we can. Mingyu was right, they all had blue biotic eyes, emotionless expressions. Just walking and shooting forward. Their target was us. They were programmed to kill us. We managed to destroy all of them, one by one falling to the floor. I bend down to check if they were dead and saw on their neck there was a mark, and a chip was installed. Biochips on humans. They were creating humanoids. The AI are getting smarter now. Turning the creators into their machines.

Once the building was cleared, we ran out of the building, only to see the car we came in on fire, a pile of humanoids, and Joshua and Wonwoo nowhere to be seen.

“Josh, where are you?” Mingyu said into the radio.

No response.

Did it happen? My vision? Is Wonwoo.. gone?

I was too late.

The sound of roaring was heard from afar.

I turned around my gun ready to shoot…

Two motorbikes were coming our way, with a trail of AI running after them.

“Y/N don’t shoot! It’s them.”

Two guys in black suits, motorbikes roaring.

As one zooms and stops infront of me.

He opens his visor and I immediately recognise those eyes.

“Quickly put this on and get on.”

I fumbled with the helmet as I got onto the bike and put it on.

He grabbed my hands and placed it around his waist.

“Hold on tight.”

A sudden screen appeared inside of the helmet.
