How fucked up would it be if gaster and the dreamers had a genuinely really good relationship in fell! Handplates but then shit hit the fan they turned cruel? Especially if gaster had an abusive family life before, I know from experience that if you were in a shit situation with abusive people, manage to leave and find new people only for them to turn just as bad as the last, it really fucks you up and can often make you feel like you’re at fault.

While I do prefer the Fell-from-the-start interpretation, I can see the appeal of torturing Gaster having the Fell be more of a Thing That Happens - an expression of persisting grief that the Dreemurrs can't pull themselves out of, and eventually grow into the shape of, and that feeling radiating out of them to the rest of the Underground like poison. How desperate Gaster would be to return to Before, and blaming himself because if he'd just been Better, maybe he could have saved them. Throwing his all into "fixing" them, to reclaim what's been lost

Arranged marriage AU with Barbarian Bakugou who is so daunting to be around at first. He’s all gruff curses and broad shoulders and scarred cheeks and neck and jaw. He scowls constantly, stares at you while your parents auction you off like some show pig, but doesn’t say much to you besides a grunt of his name. You’re terrified, thinking that he’ll be cruel to you, that you’re being set up for a life full of unhappiness and terror and regret.

But he’s the exact opposite. Bakugou is gentle in ways a man of his size typically wouldn’t be, but he shrinks himself for you. Not in a way that diminishes his status as the newly appointed king, but to respect you, show you that you’re beside him instead of behind him.

He picks you berries on his hunts because he knows the smell of a fresh kill brings nausea to your stomach. You find him along with the other maidens and helpers around his village, sitting beside them, big fingers holding tiny little flowers that he weaves into a crown for you. When he sets it on your head, he purses his lips, mutters something under his breath in his language that you’re still not too familiar with, but sure it means something along the lines of pretty and soft.

And when he finds you bathing in the river only few have access to, he’s sweet the whole time. Doesn’t make a spectacle of you being naked, and is relieved when you don’t instantly cower when he wades his way over to you. You try not to stare at the clawed scars that decorate his pec and jaw when he stands above you, and it helps when he suddenly dumps water all over your head. He shushes you when you splutter, continues on with cupping his hands and letting the water run off of your hair and down your shoulders, scrubbing at your skin until your flesh squeaks. He doesn’t expect you to do the same for him, but he hums in satisfaction when you push him down a little lower so you can wash the crown of his head.

my Ian McShane simping is getting B A D so like...that means he's gotta get bonked with the scrunkly beam and i need to create an OC based off of him and put him in a story... so far, i got an INKLING of an idea... He was in an adaptation of The Ballad of Tam-Lin in the 1970s (which he looks stupidly pretty in btw) and so my mind is thinking gothic folk horror Tam-Lin-inspired story where he's some fae/faerie-adjacent creature. 🤨

I hate feeling like time is not mine . I knew living at home would be like this bc there's various schedules and I don't understand anything in my mom's kitchen - it clutters my mind and makes it hard to feed myself and im left at the mercy of her food or she's like why don't u cook for all of us - and I can't say no to my sister and ofc my mom has a revolving door of guests staying for the next few weeks, im hoping it gets better when I "move into" the little annex to the house but either way I rly have to assert my own schedule and needs instead of being swept away

oh also i finished the last two divine beasts in botw and with daruk's protection (i did rudania last) i finally was able to get past the fucking guardians and into the castle for the first time and accidentally stumbled into the sanctum without realizing, and i died facing calamity ganon obviously bc i was completely unprepared but i actually did much better than i expected! i held my own pretty much until the stage where he goes on the wall in his full armor bc i couldn't do any damage to him and my arrows and various ways of regaining health eventually ran out so i'm gonna wait till i'm better prepared w stronger weapons and better food and exilirs etc but i was really proud of myself! i was scared when it started but then i was like eh i can always go back to the previous save with zero consequences so i may as well try it
