“You’re here!”

He practically gets ambushed when he shows up, catching her easily as she hops into his embrace, reuniting like they haven’t seen each other in years.

In all honesty, that’s what missing her feels like these days. Painful and agonizing and annoying and dull. It’s not that he doesn’t have fun without her, it’s that even when he has fun, a part of him wishes she could be there too.

But their lives aren’t intertwined like that. They can only be together when they’re not themselves, when they’ve left their lives behind, put things on hold, to come here instead.

It sounds a lot more burdensome than it is. In reality, he finds it easy as pie to drop everything and run to her. When you crave someone the way he does, it’s really simple. He just chooses her, every chance he gets.

“I made you hot chocolate,” she reports, head turning in the direction of two steaming mugs. Her hands wrap behind his neck, and it would be remiss of him not to kiss her.

So, he does. He always does.

6. Favorite title you used

hmmmm for this year i think it would be Writhe bc it just. it's so simple and it gets the vibe of the fic across so easily. it's trying to be a tma title without actually having been a tma title and ALSO it fits with the title theme of the fic series that it's inspired by so bonus points!!

15. What WIP are you taking into next year with you?

ohhhh multitudes. not counting the ones that are fully planned but not yet on ao3 outside of my for later secret collection, i have We all fall apart, the gremlin zone, Jonathan Sims Is Dead In The End, in love i've always been a mercenary, maybe These Statements Certainly Have Their Quirks (Main Series) depending on if i manage to get epilogue chapter 6 out before new years, as well as the expansion of a oneshot that i have written this year into a full-fledged series, and the aforementioned planned-but-not-written fics. so. a ton lmao

OOOOOOO that's a tough one. that's a real tough one. i'm going to exclude wips, bc the parts i like arent technically written yet, but even then im stuck. am i allowed to have a tie? bc it's a 3-way tie rn between Windows to the Soul, Security Breach, and Writhe, and if you're sensing a pattern here, yeah so am i LMAO i just love my crossovers!! it is even in the title of this blog!!

started working on a silly little webbed site last night and im so excited abt it. it's just a little personal site + blog kinda thing but since i want to practice some PHP for work I'm going to make a custom CMS for it and create a tagging system and stuff. i thought abt sharing it as smthn people could set up for themselves but idk how many people would want to go to the trouble of hosting it since it's gonna require a server w/ PHP and a database and stuff. there are probably simple hosting services with stuff like that though 🤔 but it wouldn't be as easy as like setting up a neocities or smthn idk. I guess I can always put it out there and it doesn't really matter if anyone uses it bc im just making it for myself anyway

actually im not even sure what im going to do for hosting yet bc im just developing locally using XAMPP. ideally I'd like to set up my own hardware but i don't really have the space 😔 we'll see....

Yes! I try to respond to each and every comment asap. but on certain stories I try to respond when I plan on updating the next chapter either soon or the following day, just to give the readers and commenters a head’s up. Other times I have no idea what to say in response to not sound like a robot so it takes a while to think of something lol

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Ooohh That would definitely be Project New Generation. I am suppose to make a series to rectify the angst and horror and heartbreak of this story but I don’t know if I will anytime soon😭 If any of my followers have not read this it is not for the faint of heart and there are many TW’s in this.

7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I have written a few crossovers but in moderately similar fandoms. The its between  either Agent Carter/SHIELD Crossover or Agent Carter/ Avengers crossover.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Yes, and it hurts every time. But lately I have been standing up for myself and being politely rude and telling the haters off. There’s no reason for the BS

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Sometimes, but most often only if requested or challenged to do so. Its just basic smut, nothing too kinky (I think I wrote breeding kink once? But it was mild and requested). I honestly hate writing explicit smut, it makes me uncomfortable. As someone who (TMI btw) Has no sexual feelings for people in general and has no experience whatsoever in the department, I don’t like writing smut. I can gloss over the topic but getting into details is not something I like to do at all.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

There was a app that copped fics and mimicked everything on the website and took many writers stores for profit. A mutual had informed me several of my stories were on that app. I have no idea if it is still happening or not

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I don’t believe so

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes and it was rather fun actually!

13. What is your all time favourite ship?

Tough question since I’m in between fandoms. But rn I have to say bellarke, but peggysous is a very close second!!

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Ouch. I am doing all that I can to finish all POSTED WIP’s, however those in drafts? That is another story...😐 I’ll do one for each fandom. so for Agent Carter I don’t think I will ever finish a story of Daniel's past before the show with him meeting Peggy during the war and having a romance being torn by war. like they meet and fall in love and she gets selected for the Super Soldier program and is pulled away. Not canon related at all I know, but it was a idea in the back of my head I started and now has been in drafts for a year🤷‍♀️

As for The 100 I started a fic of Spacekru being able to listen to Clarke’s radio calls each and every day but never being able to talk to her. Each chapter switches POV from space and Earth and I haven’t touched it in months🤦‍♀️

15. What are your writing strengths?

I have no idea... does having a million ideas count? If so than that lol But in all seriousness I have no clue. If I had to guess I would say character portrayal and maybe descriptions?

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Same as strength... too many ideas. Once I start a story I get supper excited and then have another idea and abandon the last one for a while. Its even worse if Its published bc then I absolutely have to finish that story😬 Also I am horrible at tenses. I mix them up a lot and its a horrible habit!!

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I love the idea and when I see another language being used in stories. My only concern as for reading and/or writing this is accuracy. I am fluent in one language and know very little of two others I’m studying(Well trying to study) So When writers do use other languages and integrate them into their works, I think it is best to be as accurate as possible and ask for help form a native speaker if possible.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

House of Anubis! Though I will never be able to publish them (And I honestly never would if I could) They’re all written in a notebook back when I was 11 and I let my friend have it to read and I have never seen her since I transferred schools, so.... yeah.

19. What’s your favourite fic you’ve ever written?

Uh.... That’s  tough one. I would have to say for Agent Carter my favorite would be Agent Carter an AU Series. This story is on Hiatus for now until I can find time to write it again but its just a soft story and a slow burn Peggysous with baby Stephanie. Its heart melting and I love it. Granted it need to do a lot of revision and editing but it is my favorite for this fandom. For The 100  I’d have to say The Head and the Heart!

we're doing it on the right day this time, can u believe? anyway i was tagged by the lovely @korvanjund so here's a little excerpt from the fic that i started writing bc i got emotional af over the moodboard she made me. it's basically set not too long after my oc alexandria and lucien flavius got together in solstheim, while they're back at the college of winterhold to do their nerd shit (affectionate).

Lucien's attention shifted from the conversation at hand as he noticed a stray feather at the back of Alexi's head. He stood, walked behind her, and gently plucked it from its place, careful as to not tug at her hair in the process. "Missed one," he said, holding it out to her.

"Thanks," she said, examining the thing with a frown. "I've slept with them so often, they've gotten all worn out. I'll need to do some hunting soon."

Again, she placed the feather onto the pile, alongside the horns. The bun at the side of her head consisted of her braids looped around each other, and a simple tug in the right place let them fall around her shoulders. From the way they'd been tied for so many days, they were bent in an awkward position, so she shook her head and ran her fingers between them in an attempt to get them to settle a little. It worked, barely, and she decided that was good enough. Lastly, she tugged off the necklace—a long thread with dozens of long feathers attached to it at their base, some reaching as far down as her mid-back. It was decorated with a hawk skull at the center. As she ran her fingers delicately along the polished bone, Lucien could just barely make out the little prayer she muttered, for protection and guidance from the Old Gods.

With her routine done, she turned to the bed where Lucien retook his seat with his back propped against the headrest. Her face suddenly flushed pink and she let out a nervous chuckle. "What's with that look?"

"Hm?" Lucien snapped out of the little daze he was in. He hardly noticed himself staring. "It's nothing. Just waiting for you to join me."

It wasn't entirely a lie. Sure, he found himself entranced in watching her relax after weeks of being on edge. It was more than clear from the way she way she handled each piece of her gear how much she treasured it. He'd seen her in her element many times; while working an alchemy lab or shooting a firebolt at an enemy a dozen yards away. But this was different. There was a quiet, tranquil air about her, and he wondered how many people were ever given the chance to see this side of the usually eccentric woman. It brought a warm feeling in his chest that he couldn't quite name.

He didn't know how to put all that in words. Not without getting embarrassed, anyway.

So, that’s that. I don’t have any more theoretical firs tlines of real first lines, because I’m not putting up my metas or my Multifandom Rants, because those aren’t fics; they’re me word-vomiting for 400-1500 words. 

I noticed that I tend to start with dialogue as well, or a simple history or exposition-esque line. (those are usually followed by dialogue lol).

My favorite has to be 1. I cut the prologue to alats so that line would be the first line of the fic. (and other reasons, but that was the big one). I personally find it hilarious. 

My favorites in what they set up are 10, 11, and 13, because they’re poetic-seeming? To be fair, those three are also written in a different style than the rest, but I like how detailed and that type of writing is, and it just feels sophisticated. Idk mate.

i’D HEARD IT WAS A REALLY BAD CHAPTER. this is a late response but MANGA READERS THAT ONE WEEK... we were all a mess (and no I haven’t watched but I’ve been recommended to do so quite a lot so I’ll hop on it soon!) 

Hmm!!!! I actually find a *shorter* first chapter is a good way to hook the reader without making them claw through too much writing to get a sense of what’s going on. Like, if I see a first chapter is reallllly long I sometimes have to do it to em, and scroll a bit to the middle to see what’s going on, and to double check that it’s a fic I want to take the time to read

1300 words isn’t too much though!!! Omg I’ve written much longer first chapters lmao. If you feel weird about it you can maybe find a good place to split that 1300 into two chapters?? But definitely make sure it’s split in a good place. It’s always good to leave the reader wanting more. If you can end on a short cliff hanger or a tense moment, that’s 10/10

That being said it would probably be wise to make the rest of the chapters of a similair average length. I’ve read fics that have shorter or longer chapters and it’s not bad (unless I’m grieving because it’s too short AND I REQUIRE MOREEE) but it might help you with actually planning your plot

I don’t really think Feitan is... so far removed from his emotions (Like Meruem) that he would really need to change that drastically for someone if he really liked them—that being said, he’s not going to change, either. If by change we mean he’s suddenly as enamored and endearing with them as Meruem is with Komugi... then I don’t think that’s going to happen regardless. We kinda see Feitan being a good and decently considerate comrade to the Troupe, so that would obviously extend to this girl/boy, maybe with a sliver of extra fondness if we’re talking romantically. But otherwise, Feitan seems like a “you get what you get” type of guy, that would inherently be *tender* with someone he liked, but not so tender that he’d have to have a whole philosophical/personality change

Ok now I’m confusing myself aksjdhfkjs. Basically:

Meruem had to like, undergo some existential shit to get where he was Komugi. I think Feitan already has the capacity to care for someone, even if his way of caring isn’t exactly rainbows and butterflies. So it’s not like he has to change. He just has to find the right person that doesn’t 1) get on his nerves and 2) get on his nerves enough that he’s gonna kill them

Feitan is a simple man. You piss him off. You die. You don’t? Ok. He’ll be nice

It’s been so long since I watched Psycho Pass or even looked into anything about it so pls take my thoughts with a grain of salt but:

I’m gonna say probably not? He’s one of those typical antags that have such strong ideals that... I don’t think even if the corrupt system was taken down he’d be entirely absolved of his ideals, or at the least, of the journey he’s taken in pursuit of those ideals. I don’t think a guy like him could ultimately settle down once the dust clears, and especially not with a lover or a family or anything like that. If he did want to lead a normal life it would probably be in seclusion

despite my radio silence i have been working on stuff i swear, its just been slow progress in a very staggered way. its literally past midnight as i write this for me, i suddenly got the energy to do this after a depressive spiral, so if that doesnt some me up, idk what will skjhdjfgll

ive been trying to spread out my wips a little bit more group-wise, bc i always write for nct, which seems unfair since ive been a stay and a myday for a hell of a lot longer. meanwhile, im considering refurbishing too in some way, making my masterlist look a little prettier or just revamping my appearance. idk. i made a lot of these bios and images like.. a while ago.. and the content im interested in writing is... a little different. i mostly write drabbles that are just fluffy and simple. which is totally fine, theyre cute and ill probably keep writing stuff like that, bc its quicker and so makes me feel more accomplished. but im a fantasy writer to the core, and ive been writing fantasy mixed with sci-fi and thriller/mystery for years now. theres always the issue of my shite attention span, yes. bUt, maybe if i work my way up, i can have some of those pretty chapter-stories that you see on here you know, the ones that make people cry?? idk tho... maybe its above what i can manage rn. if i get more friends and settle emotionally god can you even imagine that i might be able to manage it. so someday?

9. longest wip of the year

The Datura stramonium series. I have mixed feelings with that. Something that makes the inspiration fluids flow is reading the books. I like putting mc’s life in parts of the Harry Potter series that are not mentioned or vague, maybe some plot holes that I can fix (a little bit arrogant for my part but). I started writing when I was reading the Goblet of Fire, and I thought ‘What if mc was in the Quidditch World Cup but wasn’t mentioned in the books because she wasn’t with Harry?’. The thing with Datura stramonium is that the story has no relation to the Harry Potter books, it’s completely independent and I don’t know what to do with it. There are no restrictions because I can do whatever I want with the characters because they are ocs. And that blocks me in a way. I wasn’t enjoying it anymore and I put it on hold. I intend to finish it next year; I have an outline, a purpose and I know how I want it to end, I just need some time to figure things out and decide how Kate’s going from point A to point B without being boring or tedious.

12. favourite character to write about this year

I knew from the start that Kate must have had a complicated family history, when I used to play HogsMyst, I noticed that mc’s parents where hardly mentioned. I didn’t want Kate to have horrible parents that hate their daughter and that she blames them for everything. I didn’t want that kind of drama. To solve this, the logical solution was that they were really invested in jobs that were of international business (making them travel a lot, and generally being absent). I didn’t want to make Kate a loner either, she needed a relative completely opposite to her parents. And Bernard Walsh happened. A grandfather/mother as a role model was perfect. His personality and backstory came to me so naturally, it felt right. I also wanted to create a cool grandmother as well, but it was then when I added the drama factor: it’s only natural to lose the people we love, and that would make it more realistic.

Bernard is such a wonderful man, I am for sure going to write more about him.

So, we have Datura, and all the random pieces, scenes, dialogues I haven’t written because I don’t know what to do with them. I also have a secret document that someday will see the light of day, when it’s long enough, of a compilation of moments that I cut out from fics because I didn’t want to make them too cheesy).

19. any new fics to start next year

Okay, *cracks knuckles*, since I am currently reading the Order of Phoenix the majority of the fics are going to be “mission oriented” (because of what I explained in point 9). This is the forecast:

- Finishing Datura series

- Missions for the Order: a dangerous trip to Albania and also a mini series about a mission in Drumstrang school (I want to explore first person POV again because I enjoyed it tremendously).

- I also want to explore the time when Charlie went to Romania. I want to discuss how they felt, how they coped with a long-distance relationship, what were the challenges there etc. Also changing the format, maybe through letters or mixing POVS, 2020 is going to be a year of practising different styles for me. So yeah, a few fluffy pieces are in the horizon.

That’s the plan. If I get creative and write other things so be it, and if I get frustrated and I end up not writing, that’s okay too.

I read a lot of magnificent fics this year, there’s a lot of talent out there and that is amazing to me. I will always, always recommend At All Cost series by @ardentmuse. That fic is exquisite; the way its written, the plot, her Charlie… that’s the fic that inspired me to start writing.

also just from my own observations, it looks like i tend to prefer short, one-liner beginnings, sometimes in the form of dialogue................... and yeah, most of these aren’t dialogue despite me saying that, but thats bc i would skip to the next narrative sentence where possible, since simple dialogue as a first sentence is actually really boring when put out-of-context rippy!!!! its a learning thing to realize and improve upon for next time, tbh ww

thanks for the tag you added to that last thing, I can't watch the new show because it's been giving me such annoyance on making fat characters a joke. I have that problem with the comics with Gus, which is so sad bc I like him as a character? but so many stories just make him into a 'haha fat character is greedy and lazy'. not to pressure but have you thought of doing a story with him? I feel like you'd actually do him right :'D

again, not gonna comment that DT thing even if I’m inclined to agree because I’m just really trying to not have that in my life rn and who needs duck drama, HOWEVER I have to reply because goddamnit I feel you on that with Gus; he’s a great character and I feel like he has huge potential! I do have him in the next doodle comic, and I thought up one with Gyro with him having a key role and it’s only 10 pages or so so I might do that afterwards. I also have one with Grandma Duck and him doing a whole Agatha Christie mystery but that’s very WIP on plot… blah blah blah, basically, yes, I am gonna use Gus more. 

I’m not sure I can ‘do him right’ but I’ll do him how I’ve always seen him and I want to give him some airtime. I love how relaxed he is. To me Gus is a guy who’s figured things out- he likes lying around in the sun, he likes his Grandma’s kickass food, he likes his relatives. Bam, simple as that. He does things to maintain, obtain and keep those objectives, and my fav versions of him have him solve problems to keep his perfect little bubble- which show how he can be very inventive! He invents a machine to do chores that works by him rocking in the rocking chair, he carries the cow inside so he doesn’t get cold while milking her- I really feel like Gus can and should be a kindly, quiet, peaceful guy who is strong, but only active when he has to be, who is clever, but only when it benefits the peaceful continuation of the little idyllic universe that surrounds him. Also, size aside, who wouldn’t love his Grandma’s cooking- even Scrooge goes over to enjoy it! I know I would if I could.

3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?

I take out my laptop, I open gdocs bc I neither have to jump through hoops to get it (word online) nor pay for it and idk any other processors like that rn, I read through what I have already and then I make a character say something dumb but just plausible enough to continue. Then I highlight that to change it later.

I am cursed because this ritual is inconsistent, a little redundant and largely useless, plus dependant on gdocs, which is cursed to begin with!

If a witch offered you the choice between eternal happiness with your one true love and the ability to finally finish, perfect, and publish your dearest, darlingest, most precious WIP in exactly the way you’ve always imagined it — which would you choose? You can’t have both sorry, life’s a bitch

Maybe this makes me a simple bitch, but honestly - I'd take door number one. I've never wanted to publish in the first place - I don't write long enough work, I get lost in the weeds trying to do something to original and then run out of steam/love for the idea and tbh I would make a bad author! I can handle someone having a negative opinion of my work - not liking it because it's not for them or thinking i could have done such-and-such better etc. but I could not handle the bad faith reading or the desperate need for approval from a fanbase. And I get it! I've been there! But I could not handle it on the other end. I would be a hermit author who refused to ever engage with their fans and that's no fun! So yeah, I'd take the lifetime happiness with someone who loves me.

38. What is something about your writing process YOU think is Really Weird? If you are comfortable, please share. If you’re not comfortable, what do you think cats say about us?

I think it's weird how a lot of my scenes start as scripts in my head but I get really self conscious about having back and forth dialogue scenes in my works. So much so that I find myself bogging them down with descriptor and dialogue tags. Now, some of my friends say that adds a level of details that make my work unique to me and they love it, but I can also see how it can make what would otherwise be a clean, fast paced scene, feel like it drags and takes away from the imapact.

Also, I don't think cats talk about us as much as we think they do, or want them to. I don't think they, as a whole, obsess over us the way we do them - ( I say as a whole because my very needy, very clingy, very sooky baby is very obsessed with us) But mostly I think if they did talk about us, they would talk about us like competeing WASP moms do about their Honor Roll Student. "Really? Well my human switched me to wet food. Can't you see it in my coat?"

about the last few posts i rb-ed in the last few days, let me share some stuff based on my own experience! :D this is about the lack of rbs/feedback problem.

i seriously appreciate comments that i received in my fics like pauwi sa iyo, a rose beside the tall bushes, and returning to balete teaser. those are some of my works that got a good amount of rbs and feedback.

what saddens me is the lack of rbs or feedback in most of my fics. as you can notice, i get around more ~10-20 rbs. the thing here is that majority of them are from me srb-ing or responding to feedback, or from networks bc i've been in more than 10 networks ever since i started writing. so if you deduct a good amount, i barely get any rbs/feedback from ACTUAL READERS.

yes, some of them are less than ten. they were my earlier works. i wasn't in networks yet in that time so there wasn't that much exposure but like i said, a good number of it came from me rb-ing it.

i freaking feel so sad when i check my past works and the ratio between rbs and likes is literally 1:4 or even worse than that. a part of myself admits that i'm not the best in writing but i also want some comments about it or even exposure to get that.

i am very thankful that networks exist. i get some rbs and likes here and there. BUT i just get likes most of the time, seriously.

there have been times that i worry if there'd even be people reading my work. heck, the lack of feedback contributes to the confusion on what should i write, considering that i also want to create something that a good number of readers would like.

if people don't rb a post, nobody would get to see what we made. and what could be the result of that? us losing motivation and inspiration to write. we just want to hear something from the audience but we barely get anything.

there were multiple times of me wanting to not write anymore bc i know barely anybody would read it. but i'm still continuing it since i originally started to write for my own sake, to improve in english as my second language and to show some creativity at least. at this point, i'm just writing for my own. i also wanted to share these to everybody, okay? but it's probably not happening. i just started writing last sept. 2021. pretty recent tbh and atp i got to post a lot of fics already despite that short time. unfortunately, the problem is still the same despite using tags, being in networks now, and having a larger amount of followers (i had 50 around late december, and i have more than 150 followers now apparently).

there are lots of ways to fix this problem. you've seen it in other posts about this. making a side blog, giving us ANYTHING to comment (even if it's one word or emoji, we'd appreciate it), queueing/scheduling posts, and more!!! those are simple things to do, to be honest. pretty easy.

lately, i've been getting more feedbacks and comments not only through rb-ing, but sending me asks. i deeply appreciate that fr, thank you. but i still get the similar rb-like ratio in my recent works even if i received a slightly larger amount of feedback now, it sucks.

for me here, i'd appreciate if you rb and/or give comments. i'm serious. waking up to several tags to my fic makes my day and i get more inspiration to write. if you guys kept on doing that, maybe the writing community would be SO alive rn and your fave writers probably are still here.

i don't know what else to say bc writers have been saying the same things. don't complain if any of us leaves. i might sound a little mean here but you're a contributor to that. watch me announce a hiatus soon, who knows? idk, i've been thinking about that actually but i still want to continue my wips and post them already.

I have like 14 wips and most of them have working titles and I just had like “mars settlement wip” or “mermaid activism wip” until I came up with the working titles.

These are all the ones that are like satisfactorily titled  and didn’t have anything before (though I wouldn’t mind a publisher or someone else suggesting alternate titles).

But a Monster (a quote from the source inspo for the novel)

A New Holmes (simple precise, could well change, but it’s about Holmes)

Puppeteer Plague (the name of the parasite, and well it’s a plague, simple)

Of Rust and Redwood Lungs (play on words between metal and trees and how that reflects on the people on mars and earth)

These Fathoms So Profound (play on the word profound, because it’s about water and mermaids)

Mare Levest 40 (the name of the planet in the story, which i came up with)

Who the Hell is Nina? (she’s the mystery of the story, and no one remembers her)

I have a couple wips that I had previous titles or titles I’m not 100% satisfied with, probably because I have not fully invested myself in it yet.

Hyacinth Stalks was Her Success (I’m a stickler for plays on words, “stocks” versus “stalks”, it’s a crime thriller after all)

Shades of Red is worth a retitling but it’s a great stand in for now (because it’s a spite wip to write a healthy lesbians and bdsm, wink wink)

Define Vitality was Project VITA (it’s about life and survival)

Skies of Fire (in the same universe as Mare Levest 40; I want it to sound more like it’s partner more sciency; it’s pretty simple bc there’s a volcano)

Silver Screens Digital Scenes (it has a fun ring to it; but basically it’s just a reference to how vampires are repelled by silver and the story’s connection to social media)

Built for Base (mostly a play on words bc it’s about body image and cheerleading)

I started But a Monster in October 2018, and it’s progress is still ongoing. I’m working on the second draft.

I’ve had the characters and story for Hyacinth Stalks as early as June 2013, but it’s only really come together in the last two years.

I’ve had characters that are now in Define Vitality since as early as 2012, Perion around September 2012, Greta around April 2013, Alec around October 2013… but the Define Vitality story really only developed around late 2017 and started as a joke tumblr post I think, but I added some meat to it.

Puppeteer Plague has been in development since 2017, but I’ve had the idea for it for years, possibly as early as 2012-2013 (since I’m pretty sure I tried to write an earlier version of this for Camp Nano in April 2013).

Everything else is more recent and has been in development 2017-present.

I am working on my second draft of But a Monster, and have an in-progress outline for Hyacinth Stalks, I’ve written some short pieces in the Puppeteer Plague, and a 25 page script for Define Vitality that I am planning on expanding upon into something longer to allow for more character development.

Everything is in an outline or pre-outline stage.

❣️: which scene has been hardest to write so far?💕: what has your favorite scene been?

I can’t say there was one that was particularly hard, I tend to struggle with just discipline with writing, and maintain and good routine. I’ve certain been more emotional some times than others for heavy scenes.

I really enjoyed writing the kidnapping scene in But a Monster.

💞: which future scene are you looking forward to writing?💓: is it part of a series or standalone?

I’m looking forward to writing Hyacinth Stalks. I can’t say I’m looking forward to one scene in particular though, maybe when Juliet meets the truck driver.

Most of them felt very right as TV Show scripts or novels, but I am leaning on just writing them all as novels for now. They aren’t series though, all of them are their own contained story– except perhaps Of Rust and Redwood Lungs, but I haven’t plotted it out yet, the world building feels big enough for a series.

But a Monster is a lesbian romance thriller

Shades of Red is also a lesbian romance thriller (more erotic though)

Hyacinth Stalks is a crime thriller

Define Vitality is a scifi drama (zombie apocalypse)

A New Holmes is a crime thriller

Puppeteer Plague is a scifi horror/thriller (outbreak/plague)

Before the Green Age (which isn’t on my wip page rn) is the Puppeteer Plague prequel and it’s a scifi adventure

Of Rust and Redwood Lungs is a scifi political drama (Mars settlement)

These Fathoms so Profound is an Urban SFF

Silver Screens Digital Scenes is an urban fantasy

Mare Levest 40 and Skies of Fire are scifi (like Firefly/Serenity)

Build for Base is a drama romcom

Who the Hell is Nina? is a mystery drama.
