Hey everyone, long time no see! Apologies for the months of silence - but I’m back now! I needed to take a much needed step back from HOCO and focus on some other projects of mine (as well as play a ungodly amount of BG3 hehe).

On my break, I also decided to kinda tear down HOCO and rebuild it from the ground up. I wasn’t really pleased with how the story was going and I think that really contributed to the burnout I felt with the project. I still would like to include the premise of the various life stages, but may go about it in a different way than I had initially planned - things to think about more I suppose!

Anyways here’s some behind the scenes of what I’ve been up to - starting with revisiting the cast’s (+ Nico’s) main outfits and updating them :3

How would everyone react in a zombie apocalypse?

My time as the 14dwy! Zombie AU Creator has finally come -

HENRY: Wouldn't last long - I genuinely think they'd turn pretty fast; whether it be a ground zero type of situation, or just being dumb in general. But, if they were to survive, would be a loner for the most part - most of his allies end up dead somehow...

LYRA: would probably kill herself Would be EXTREMELY weary of others, sm so she'd probably be on her own for the most part. I can also see her having 'pet' zombies (kinda like Michonne did in TWD) as a extra form of protection. She strikes me as a survivalist as well (think of Bill from TLOU).

ELIJAH: Wouldn't last long either, but not for the same reason as Henry - Eli is very kind, and I think that kindness could easily be taken advantage of in a setting like this. Would settle into a commune / group setting w/ friends + family (thinking of the Jackson Community in TLOU).

SANDY: Unsure, I think it could go either way for Sandy. Knows when + when not to help people, maintaining a healthy balance. Would struggle w/ putting down friends who get infected - fully believes there to be some humanity left. Would probably be in the same group as Eli.

And thank u for all the birthday wishes - it wasn't so bad after all. Except for the weather. The weather was horrid!!! Intense wind everywhere and rain. But I hope it will only make it easier to sleep well tonight. Still, it's alright. I hope getting older means I'll grow enough as a person to abandon my obsession with meaning of every celebration. Maybe not all holidays and birthdays are meant to be full of signs and special. Maybe sometimes it's just about making it out of bed for a 40 minute walk to the best local coffeeshop. Listen to some of their royalty free music playlist. Sorry I can't stop thinking about it. I know they're doing well financially, what the hell. Aren't online radio stations free to play???
