My friend @durbguy shared their lore for their khorne worshiping Chaos warband so I just had to make a tank for their human buddies XD

on the one hand i love robots, on the other i'm a very organic sculptor, hate modeling hard surfaces and am not that good at mechanical greebling. so sometimes i have to sit on the floor & play with legos.

i sculpted the face, but otherwise this robot is made of various toy parts, beads, and headphone cords. i used a lot of bionicle bits, because bionicle is just about the only type of robot that is easy to find in thrift stores. i was also able to use bionicle joints for all major points of articulation, and they're a joy with the way they bend in all directions and hold poses. most of this is Illegal Bionicle, though, with a lot of cutting and gluing involved.

Seeing as a core thing about Trench Ghosts is that they can’t field the usual heavy hitters of the legion because they’re artificial, Anointed Ones tend to fill the gaps as they can carry heavy weapons. I had made one with a machine gun when I first developed my warband, but many of my following lists had called for two and I often had to proxy the model with a space marine or one of my unused elites.

With hope I have now fixed this with this pair of anointed ones. The first was given an Anti-Material Rifle (which would’ve been fitting while my warband had the rule of Battlefield Looters but is kind of here for show now) the second has a grenade launcher. It’s probably also worth noting that unlike my first anointed, these ghosts have heads (because they remembered to wear their helmets).

When you encounter the Six of Six in the frozen wastes of Felstad, you best hope they roll low.

I’ve done some dice themed minis before and they’re some of my favourites, I know some people have “avatar” miniatures and I’ve genuinely considered using my Dicelin for that—haven’t thought about them for a while until I found Clayton Ellison‘s AMAZING profile on Instagram of dice miniature after dice miniature scrolling all the way down, I absolutely LOVE their minis and their painting style, as I still have tons of miniature dice lying around from that old project, thought I’d give it a go. The two female minis are BadSquiddo miniatures, 3 of the others are from a game called Barons War , and the one with the executioner’s axe a friend gifted me and I have no clue where it’s from.

Signalis Elster Replika in 28mm (part 1)

Start out with Wargames Atlantic Cannonfodder

Cut down forward part of boots and smooth transition from suit to boots. (Lots of cutting and smoothing with plastic glue)

Connect 2 knee stripes on each leg to emulate the knee parts of the model. (Added a drop of sprue glue in between the 2 tabs, then cut and smoothed with Tamiya extra thin)

Remove and smooth the zipper of the suit to make the torso more smoothed. (Lots of cutting as well as lots of sprue glue, the zipper is the most prominent part of the original body)

Slightly cut back on the collar to look more like a neck. (The model's design makes it so that if you cut the collar away completely, you would be lowering the resting point of the head)

Shallow cuts with a sharp blade to mark where the unit's chest opening would be.

Cut up a piece of styrene sheet till it was thin enough to look like her holster's strap. (Could have used greenstuf or similar to make the strap but was too lazy to do so here)

Cut away and smooth the back protrusion where the backpack would have been glued on the original body.

Cut a piece of sprue to look the par of her holster. (Doesn't need to actually fit her weapon, otherwise it would look far too large for her size)

Remove cuffs of suit on hands holding binoculars, going to simplify the shape in the next part to look like a bundle of flares.

Remove cuff again on pistol holding hand.

Cut down on pistol till it is just the trigger and grip. Afterwards, slowly add cut down pieces of sprue to emulate the game's revolver. (I acknowledge that I did a shitty job with the pistol's shaping, afraid to add the unique cylinder because the pistol is fragile and far too small)

That is my progress so far. I hope to finish the miniature in the next part with the head and a coat of paint. Thank you for reading.

Fury always armed against itself

Painted my custom Enkidu mech for a lancer homebrew campaign my pal ran that is at its tail end. I got to bifurcate so many enemies it was so fun! (and scary haha!)

Also featuring Oxton. Don't ask me how he scaled up there. He's a very athletic fella.

The Black Century making it's debut in PARTIZAN is one of those scene that plays over and over in my head on repeat. The picture of shambling zombie like war machines that arrive in evil fog is one I knew I had to try and recreate.

Did a lot of experimenting with battle damage and painting techniques to mixed results but I am really happy with how the Demiurgos turned out and I love how they look like a cohesive army.

Just because she’s built like a war machine, doesn’t mean she has to avoid the ballroom.

Saw some cool art featuring a giant hat and realised I’ve only done a few big hats before, desperately wanted todo one and it turned into a rather elegant design in the end (thankfully, I was worried she’d end up looking like a pimp lol). I was tempted to actually paint this up with proper Mechanicus imagery, but decided to make it a little bit ambiguous so I might be able to use her as an Inquisitor and for other games.

If you’re wondering about that obscenely bright red, I used Rogue Hobbies’ signature paintset with just a contrast red over the top, created enough depth while still keeping the vibrancy of her paint. The resin pieces are some super super cool assassins from Anvil Industry
