My cat ate my project so I'm starting over but I need motivation.

GOD knows how I managed to never post this set from Christmas, especially when I made the hat and mittens a whole YEAR before I finished the scarf 😭 but they're here!! I love how this shows off the gorgeousness of a garter stitch with a little bit of interest added. Wore them constantly this winter 🐑🧣

Patterns:

Hat and mitts: 'Ruby Crest Hat and Mitts' by Kristen Ashbaugh-Helmreich on ravelry - though with some significant alterations. I made, frogged, and remade both the hat and mitts 😭 but it was worth it as now they fit perfectly!

Scarf: I used the basics of this chevron pattern by Fiber Spider on YouTube, alternating the colours mostly at random!

Yarn: Croft Shetland Aran in 'Westerwick' and 'Belmont'

more knitting progress found out that i calculated it wrong and i’m actually 17% complete! 11’ wide and 13’ long atm!

The scarf I’m making is finally long enough to wrap around. Just need to make it a bit longer and then add the tassels.

Next will be a matching hat. And then making myself a hat and scarf set.

I like making polls, so I have another question to ask you! I always wanted to make a scarf and a beanie duo in colors of Hogwarts houses, it's like a must-do thing for those who crochet/knit and like HP universe (not JKR, she can burn in hell for all I care). But I have a dilemma about Ravenclaw's colors.
