something i don't see mentioned enough abt introjects, specifically factives, is the guilt that comes with it. like obv you cant control who you split, but there's something about splitting a public figure that makes you feel guilty. idk if it's just a me thing, probably not, but we have a lot of kpop fictives and i can't help but feel guilty because of that one fact. i respect the idols so much and having factives of them makes me feel like that respect i have for them isn't real or it's parasocial of me to have factives of them.. even tho i don't even talk to the factives of them nor do i think the idols owe me anything. i see them for what they are, idols who are also human, they just happen to also do entertainment and music.

LIKE I FEEL GUILTY. FOR HAVING PARTS OF THEM. I DONT EVEN RLLY LIKE THEIR EXISTENCE IN MY SYSTEM...

i cannot stress enough how much that guilt weighs on me even though i know it's not actually parasocial and i can't control it and my brain is literally just trying to cope. i'm going insane.

im not sure if this is the right place to say this but your page has popped up on my feed a whole bunch so i thought maybe it was the right place ...

i dont see alters / headmates using names of other cultures that they aren't bodily as rude or cultural appropriation . for example , i see a lot of people saying that non - bodily asian systems , specifically bodily white systems , shouldn't let introjects of asian media ( anime , kpop / jpop , or games like genshin ) use their source names and i think ? that's so weird ? as a bodily japanese system , i think its SO beautiful and so sweet that people love our names so much that they don't WANT to change it . i love seeing people with japanese headmates use japanese names , no matter what their bodily race is , i always viewed it as appreciation instead of appropriation . i suppose there's some cases where it can be appropriation , or icky ( like , i dont think using the name of a god or deity is really all that cool ) , but if someone wants to call themselves a name from a culture they don't come from , i dont really care . i think it's beautiful and i love seeing people think my peoples names are beautiful .
