This is what I am mad about this week. I am demisexual and demiromantic. My partner doesn't understand that my desire for physical intimacy can fluctuate by how strong my emotional bond is with them. They sometimes view it as just because they have an emotional bond with me that I should treat them as if I was allosexual. They do not understand that those desires for me function on a spectrum, so it creates some misunderstandings between us.

i have had so many people hear i was acespec, pretend to understand, befriend me, then pursue me sexually, and be surprised and offended when i didn't react to their advances with enthusiasm.

so here's the thing: the "red mirage" is exactly what it sounds like - where it looks like the republican nominee has won. however, once the mail-in ballots have been counted, we start to see some states go blue.

now i'm not going to lie to you, there is a chance it may be too late. even if it is, we keep fighting. we help ourselves and our communities however we can.

things aren't going to change overnight. this is going to be a battle we'll be fighting for a while yet. but the important thing is that we we keep hoping, and we keep fighting, no matter what.

Hey! First off, I am loving everything we've ever gotten in the Angel series so far and I can't wait to see more of it! Secondly, I was wondering if there were any plans on continuing His Perfect Model since you're back in the game (so to speak)? I've always enjoyed that one and wondered where the story could possibly go next so I was curious. Best!

The answer to both Angel and His Perfect Model is really that they're not officially over or on any hiatus, but I'm trying to figure out where to go next with them. The next big move for Angel is probably the confrontation with Peter's old alpha and I'm finding myself struggling to write it at the moment. HPM is just a bit directionless in general right now. The original version of the story I had in mind was much darker than the one that I have settled on and posted, so I'm trying to figure out how to mesh some of my old ideas with new ones that fit the vibe the story has now better. But fear not, neither are abandoned for sure!

I've also been balancing doing Summer Bingo and chasing plot bunnies in general with adjusting to adult things so that's also partially the holdup. I'm planning on posting one of those wild plot bunnies that was started for the bingo and no longer fits it soon -- maybe even today -- so keep an eye out for that! Once those are off my plate and I've planned out the stories a little more the updates will be a-coming! 🤩 I'll try to get HPM up and running soon for you!! 😃

Have you heard anything about a recount yet? I heard there's a petition going around

there does seem to be a petition going around, yes! i've not heard anything official about a recount/investigation, but that could always change.

in the mean time, this post has some wonderful insight into how to contact the president directly and ask for an investigation into election interference and the like, so definitely check that out. i've already submitted an inquiry myself; the more people that do it, the harder it is for president biden to ignore it.

i know things are difficult right now, but remember to keep your head up. our continued existence will be an act of defiance against trump.

aaahhhh there's a lot of random manga couples I love so much but haven't been able to get a plot down for... dougrita OF COURSE. god. omg raine plz u need to catch up so much has happened. but they're one of my favs and writing a wacky comedy action 'missing chapter' type of thing seems really fun. starkfern is now actually semipopular with the anime adaptation but theyve always been super chill and my type of couple to write. i likes them. HM. i have felt possessed to write mid yaoi for my fav b/s/d (afraid of that fandom dont look at me) couple in recent weeks i can't lie . they are so my type of couple. AH ! and priest and imuri too they might be my top priority rn i love them... also as of recent events beautiful straight ppl from fatamora of course. but i need to mull on ideas for those two...
