Apollo: Hey sis, you won't believe me, but I found Hermes down in Tartarus! Turns out he got captured by giants a few days back.
Artemis: Why in father's name did he go down there?
Apollo: He though he'd have a better chance with Perse Kronide if he got her father's blessing.
Artemis: ...and why were you in Tartarus?
Apollo: *spluttering* THAT ISN'T THE POINT, ARTEMIS!

A lover of the idea of Kronos as a good father, at least in the fics
I don't know if it's just me but I imagine Cronus as a good father to Percy and he loves that, to some extent, Percy is a great daughter and Cronus's princess, i.e. his favorite, so the reason he ascends is not because of something as banal as his revenge against his children, but rather it is based on two things: the first is that he is a jealous father and he heard in Tartarus that there is a god or several gods among them. His son Zeus and his grandson Apollo along with other gods do not want his daughter, his princess, to marry and he tries to rise in ancient Greece but fails which puts him in a bad mood. And he hears that Asta had children (Dionysus, Asclepius, and many more), which makes him angry because he thinks she is being forced or raped. Which makes him hold a great grudge against them, but he looks for a way to save both his daughter and his grandchildren from their evil parents. Second, when I heard that she died, I was in denial for a long time and Luke comes to say that he thinks he saw her and that she possibly believes in him and believes that she faked her death and supports him in the shadows because he is afraid of the gods so to defeat Olympus, no matter how far or how low he has to go, to save his princess, he will do it. PS: my language is not English, I'm using Google Translate for this, sorry if I don't understand it.

The Titanomachy Pt.1
After Ouranos imprisoned the Hecatoncheires and the elder cyclops Gaia turned to her remaining children the titans to overthrow him they were at first hesitant but the youngest Kronos was able to persuade all but Oceanus to aid in overthrowing their father Rhea distracted Ouranos for three days with preparations for her wedding to Kronos while Gaia crafted a sickle of Adament for Kronos on the dawn of the fourth day the siblings attacked their father and all but Rhea and Oceanus held him down as Kronos used his sickle to tear his father apart as he drew his last breath Ouranos cursed Kronos and Rheas marriage prophesying that their union would bring the end of Kronos’s rein just as his union with Gaia brought the end of his
Things were good for a time but eventually Kronos let his fathers curse fade from his mind and to his wife he sired the goddess of hearthfire Hestia but as she grew older and more powerful Kronos grew more and more fearful until one day as his wife swelled once more with child he lifted his daughter above his head and swallowed her
The goddess Perseira was born to Kronos and the eldest Oceanid the Goddess Styx she was raised by her mother in the underworld until she was brought by Tethys to Mt.Othrys were her father taught her governance at his knee Rhea seethed as her stepdaughter grew more magnificent and beautiful each decade while her own children languished in her husband’s stomach so when her sixth child Zeus was born she disguised a rock as her infant and hid her real son on the island of Crete
So tell me what you think

Crack AU where after the Battle of Manhattan Luke is thrown backwards into time — except he isn't thrown into Ancient Greece, but rather into the Golden Age of Greek mythology, where Kronos still ruled.
He appears right in the middle of this cave where a woman lies on a bed, clearly having just given birth. He has no earthly idea who this woman is, but she stuffs a baby into his arms and tells him to run with a goat called Amalthea (the name sounds familiar but he has no time to dwell on why that is).
Of course he's like "no wtf", but then he senses a familiar presence approaching them quickly — clocking that presence as Kronos, Luke has no idea why the titan is still alive but thankfully has the sense of mind to get the hell out of dodge.
It isn't until later that he looks down at the baby in his arms. The baby's hair is soft and downy, a light wispy blond. He has bright blue eyes — blue like the shell of a robin’s egg, blue like lightning thundering across a clear sky.
A blue that he realises, with horrified dread, is all too familiar.
“Zeus seems to like you,” the dark haired nymph — Adrastreia, she'd introduced herself as — who'd accompanied Luke and the goat in their escape from that cave, says, smiling.
Luke just stares.
"Who?" He forces out, voice shrill.
Anyway, his first instinct is to chuck baby Zeus off the nearest cliff, but then he realises that if he does that, Kronos would almost certainly never fall to the Olympians, which is Not Good™. And Amalthea and Adrastreia, no matter how friendly they seem, are still suspicious of him, so he's stuck being a godly nanny for now.
Joy.
Then Zeus grows up. And then he frees his siblings. So now Luke not only has to deal with babysitting one baby god, but six. Who for some reason clamour for his attention and call him mother.
...Maybe he should have just thrown himself off a cliff when he had the chance.
#luke castellan#the kronides#pjo#percy jackson and the olympians#anyways i think it would be really funny if luke was forced to raise zeus while constantly having to hold back his murderous impulses#zeus: giggling as he plays with luke's hand#luke: fucking disgusting. i should throw him off a cliff#mama luke au

Hephaestus epic/ the athenide
do you know hephaestus line in the god games?
the
Trust is not given, it's forged Why should I give him my support? He sacrificed his own cohort
if we go with the athenide au (or it would be the kronide au right?)
would he have said that because of precy? you know because shes the goddess of loyalty? that she taught him the impotence of trust?
i like to think so because it makes his part so much better, you know it just shows how much of a mammas boy he is? (as he should be)
but what do you think?
also i will posting some stuff from my old acc, i lost that one so dont be surprised if you have already seen or read it before ;)

Hades: *to his siblings* I do not care for a single one of you and if you died I wouldn't even attend your funeral, for it would be your own incompetency that led you to your grave.
Zeus: You can’t hide anything from me, I saw the family portrait you’re painting. It's very sweet.

(some) 2nd gen (rrverse) olympians as tma avatars!!
you see the thing about fear powers is that they're pretty much "externalizing your own trauma" powers they go both ways, what you suffer from and what you inflict on others (plus the aesthetic) so!
Apollo: Eye. the inescapability and paranoia of being watched all the time AND the relentless seeking of knowledge and revealing of truth. pretty obvious motifs
Hermes: Stranger. the fear of no longer recognizing yourself. or your loved ones. or reality. AND deceiving and manipulating others and selling them a false reality
Dionysus: Spiral. pretty self explanatory. being driven mad AND driving other people mad. I don't feel the need to add any more, he's just such a perfect spiral avatar
Artemis: Hunt. this one's about the dangers of tunnel vision, being so focused on something you completely miss and are oblivious to essential situations and context. hunting motif obv
Athena: I was actually very torn with stranger for the minerva thing but in the end I felt that's too specific. Web. the fear of losing or not being in control AND, of course, having control, of yourself and the situation. predicting and manipulating people and the fear it may be done to you. weaving imagery. the arachne thing
#ares is slaughter but I also could make a strong case for desolation#I'm sorry hephaestus your trauma and your powers just don't match :/#with aphrodite just nothing jumped to me#I think persephone could be corruption#the kronides are WAY too complex and the aesthetics don't match as well#pjo#pjo hoo toa#toa#trials of apollo#the trials of apollo#toa apollo#pjo apollo#pjo hermes#toa hermes#pjo dionysus#toa dionysus#pjo artemis#toa artemis#pjo athena#toa athena#pjo olympians#tma fears

Craziest things each Kronide has done:
Zeus - plethora of questionable decisions but having a Titan get his liver eaten out every day gets a shoutout
Poseidon - made a woman fuck a bull because he was mad at the husband for not giving a sacrifice
Hades - fed a man who tried to kidnap his wife to his three headed dog
Hera- plethora of wrath but #1 has to be making a man brutally murder his whole family
Demeter - made a man go so hungry he eats himself
Hestia - lies down on grass to take a nap after a party
#i say all of this with love#they are terrifying#kronides#zeus#poseidon#hades#hera#demeter#hestia#greek mythology

Heathcliff is my personal favorite because he's the resident badass. He's a wolf-killer and is grumpy and aloof. He doesn't like children in general, but he tolerates the Todd Cygnets, especially Merrill. "I could bite her, but that wouldn't be right." (Tristan is staring)
Odette is his special princess because he grew up with her. Odette can prod him with her toes, pull his ears, swipe his toys, and Heathcliff would simply let her.
He's chill with Kronid, but even Kronid gets growled at. Odile can give him scritches behind the ear. He politely tells her when she has to stop, though - a miffed sneeze or whine, and he trots off.
One morning, Darrell noticed he was missing and found him by following a trail of dead wolves. Heathcliff lay limp in the middle of a clearing, covered in scratches but very much alive. He'd stopped a pack from harming the livestock, single-handedly.
Darrell and Odette carried him into the stable, called the local vet to give him rabies shots, and nursed him back to health.
"Look at him," Darrell told the vet. "He's looking at me, and he's smiling. He's smiling! He's like, 'Yeah, dad. I did that. I killed them.'"

Perse: Hey kiddo, I've got a favour to ask. There's this mortal princess who just got abandoned by her boyfriend on Naxos. Can you go cheer her up?
Dionysus: I mean, sure, but isn't that more of an Artemis thing?
Perse: Nah trust me, this is perfect for you.
*one wedding later*
Aphrodite, wearing the smuggest grin imaginable: Does anyone else know Olympus has two matchmakers?
Perse: You will say nothing about this to anyone.
Aphrodite: Oh very well, but if you're ever interested a career change, you know where to find me~

In the Perse Kronide au I think it would be interesting if Perse was actually a Titaness it would be another justification for Kronos not eating her and make Zeus see her as more of a threat

Thinking about mama Luke au again (aka the one where he time travels to the age of Kronos' rule and raises the kronides) and I realised there's a lot of angst potential to this lol.
Consider: even with the time-travelling, Luke is still a mortal. The kronides know this, but they don't think much of it — gods grow up quickly, so it only takes a few years for them to grow into adulthood. Even then, they have other priorities to worry about: namely, overthrowing their father.
Luke is a constant; he was there when they were children, tucking them into bed and soothing their childish hurts. He was there when they launched their first attack against Kronos' army, providing logistics and support and strategising battle plans. He was there for the final battle, when Zeus drove his Master Bolt into Kronos' throat and dragged him into Tartarus. The kronides do not remember a time where Luke wasn't there — so they don't even consider the possibility that one day he might leave them.
So the first Titanomachy comes and goes. The dust settles. The Kronides take their thrones as the new rulers of what would later become the centre of Western civilisation.
.
.
.
And then Luke starts getting sick.
And he doesn't get better.
Turns out, hosting the titan of time does a lot more damage to your body than you realise. Luke's body had been slowly deteriorating over the course of the last several years — he just never told anyone. And now the kronides have to watch the person who raised them, their father figure and mother figure rolled into one, slowly die.
#luke inadvertently continuing the cycle of generational trauma by straight up traumatising the kronides with his death lol#luke thinks that they might be sad about it for a while but they'll soon get over it#turns out they've been mourning him for millennia#the ghost of him perpetually haunting the narrative of their fractured family#whoops!#luke castellan#pjo#percy jackon and the olympians#mama luke au
