Danny has a problem.

It's been around two weeks after fighting vlad and removing his powers, the tension has been building between them for a long time.

First it was the crown, Danny had earned it after fighting Pariah but Vlad thinks that Danny isn't ruthless enough to rule saying that he's "too soft" and "too indecisive" to wear the (for all the title of Ghost King is worth) glorified funny hat. Then after a long time of arguing between them Vlad came up with a scheme. If he couldn't become the king he would become the regent, he just needed to possess Jack Fenton, have him divorce Vlad's "beloved" Madeline and then possess her into marrying him.

As you can guess this didn't work, Danny found him about two seconds after he tried to divorce Maddy cause he wasn't even trying to act (like a human sized Golden retriever) his dad. So he and mom beat the creepy incel out of his dad, in the process Danny was forced to transform and his parents accepted him (YAY!), he also got hit in the side of his head by Vlad, damaging his Broca's area just enough so he can only speak in Ghostspeak, but he can still understand human words and letters. After that mess they moved to Gotham so he could recover in a place with high ectoplasm without Vlad harassing them. ( Lady Gotham hates Vlad.)

Now you're probably wondering, "What's the problem, Vlad is out of the picture and your parents accept your half dead-ness."

The problem is that some guy dressed as a scarecrow released some weird gas into his school. He didn't get a lot of people cause the "Bats?" Showed up but his friend Damien got sprayed and ran off saying he was gonna kill his brother tim. So in Danny's infinite genius he ran off after him to make sure he doesn't hurt someone.

He's not sure why Damien speaks Ghostspeak though.

I love that it’s Miranda who orchestrates Alfred Hamilton’s death. Partly because there’s something just so devastating to me about how lonely and constrained and helpless so much of her life on Nassau is - and thus something so grimly satisfying about her getting to exercise that kind of violent agency, even in flashbacks and exposition.

And also, because there’s a level on which it’s a little fucked up. Not that she wants that kind of revenge, not even that she gets it - but that she weaponizes Flint’s rage and grief and guilt, Flint himself, to do it. That she knows him and loves him and shares a terrible trauma with him, and that’s precisely what allows her to aim him like a homing missile at her husband’s (for all intents and purposes) murderer and pull the trigger. Fully sympathetic and understandable and I don’t think Flint was complaining one iota, but - still. There’s something magnificently brutal about it and I kind of love that for her.

Neal and Mozzie make such good partners in crime because Neal is all charming and silver-tongued, yes, but a lot of people are on their guard for people like that, despite how unfairly good at it he is. But if Mozzie walks in first and just starts being absolutely bonkers and insane, and they’re distracted and annoyed and not thinking, Neal now looks even more trustworthy and down to earth and, well, normal, which makes his natural charm work even better because they would so much rather be interacting with him than the guy who is actively being we obnoxious as possible for the sole reason of creating a distraction and making it too difficult for the marks to remember that sometimes people who sound trustworthy aren’t.

last night my sister’s new husband’s mom was walking around the living room and showing everyone pictures on her phone (one of which was a wedding photo of my sister and her husband, the other was an ADRINETTE DRAWING SHE FOUND ON MY INSTAGRAM) and kept telling everyone how similar they looked😭😭

in the catoruverse before satoru is turned into a cat, you and him go on a mission to fight a curse together a week prior to the events that take place and as you’re searching for your target, the both of you have to make your way through the festival that was going to be on all throughout the day and night time.

multiple stands were set up in the area and you constantly have to keep satoru from getting distracted until you walk by a fortune telling stand. you ignore the old lady but satoru is fully invested in her babble, practically prancing his way over and ignoring the fact the two of you had a job to do. he tells you to lighten up — which you don’t, standing there with a scowl, arms crossed over your chest as you tap your foot impatiently.

as you look around at the bustling crowd, all you hear to the side is ‘beware of the hairy beast’ and ‘furry situation’ to which you roll your eyes, and then something about his love life ‘black beauty with the blues’ before he makes his way over to you. there’s a perplexed look on his face and you can’t help but give him a smug reaction bc he wasted his own time to hear a bunch of bogus. before you can even get a word out however, he’s dragging you by the arm back into the tented hut with him, forcing you to sit down and have your fortune read bc as he said it himself — ‘it’s fun!’

yeah fucking right.

the lady does what she does, making you drink tea which to your surprise was quite pleasant and reads the leaves before performing a palm reading. all the smoke from her incense was making it hard to see the colorful drapes and you’re coughing slightly, though it seems to have no effect on her or her ability as she’s heaving out a dramatic gasp before telling you that ‘crossing paths with a cat around this time of year will bring you good fortune.’ you give her your usual blank look you give everyone when you’re not impressed which does nothing to deter her. she says a couple more things but then switches to talking about your love life and you have to ignore the way satoru leans in closer in interest.
