"nerdy" as a compliment is actually pretty cool, tbh. Hey everyone, this person codes purely for the joy of it. They love diving into challenges and savoring every little win.

"✨ How Masculinas Quantify Their Value ✨
'M e n should pay for dates because lashes cost this much, hair and nails cost that much, facials and skin care are expensive. If m e n want a *feminine* woman then they should know it costs money' etc
I’m sure we’ve all seen variations on this by now, and women cheering it in the comments. Ladies, please cut it out. This kind of talk cheapens you, reduces you to a caricature, and is a sure giveaway that you’ve only dated dusties.
Feminine women NEVER talk like that, and I'll tell you why. First, it's not our job to teach m e n how to act, and when you talk like that, you're aiming your message at feminine dusties who had masculine mothers.
Any m a n who was raised by and around feminine women already knows all this. He has seen the numerous potions and lotions on his mother's dresser, her beautifully maintained hair and nails that required frequent trips to the salon, as well as her love for beautiful outfits, fragrances, make-up, and pretty shoes. He knows that beauty takes effort, time, and money.
Quality masculine m e n also put significant effort and expense into their grooming and wardrobes. Sure, getting ready isn’t as time-consuming for them as it is for us, but he makes sure his hair, beard, and nails are clean, well-maintained and neat. He’ll also buy expensive perfume and after-shave, invest in well-cut shirts and suits. He will also splurge on quality shoes and watches. But he doesn’t think; ‘I had better wear my Rolex to this date or she'll think I want to go halfsies'.
No, he looks his best because he has self-respect and knows the power of first impressions. Furthermore, this kind of petty tit-for-tat thinking isn’t even in his mental repertoire. He expects a woman to look good on a date because the women in his family always looked good anyway, date or no date.
As much as he appreciates femininity and can note easily how much care went into the makeup and outfit, he isn’t astonished by a well-dressed, carefully made-up woman as though this is a rare sight for him.
The other thing is that feminine women and masculine men are comfortable in their roles and they don’t need to persuade the other to conform. They simply won’t date someone who is that incompatible that the basics need spelling out.
Now, back to the idea that this talk cheapens you, ladies: you should never audition or try to persuade someone of your worth in dollars and cents. More importantly, you are assuming that the pleasure of your company, character, charm, class and manners aren’t valuable.
Masculine m e n know that a well-rounded, charming, well-adjusted, emotionally mature woman is a rarity. They have sat across from enough boring, painfully dull, bobble-headed bimbos to recognise a quality feminine woman instantly.
He won’t care about your pricey extensions, gel nails, and lashes if you’re prickly, defensive, dull, and entitled. Masculine men pick up the tab with pleasure not just because they have good manners, but because the delightful company of a feminine lady is a treat to them.
❤"
My take on this:
I used to be the girl who would constantly tell dusty men I was dating how I would want to be treated. The real problem was in my picking of the man from the beginning. I learned, without seeming tacky, you need to ALWAYS vet these men by asking certain things. Ask about his job, ask about his relationship with his mom and his father, ask about his ex girlfriends, his life goals, etc. Always show up like you care about how you look so that he knows how to treat you when he sees you. Know who you are dating before you date them.

The best thing I’ve ever learned was to be ok rejecting a man’s first offer. Specifically for gifts, money or vacations. Because I can guarantee that whatever he offered you, he can do better. They never offer you the -BEST- first.
