I just finished watching Derry Girls and I can honestly say I think it's one of the greatest shows ever. No, fr. The jokes, the sad moments, the songs, the all the wonders of the teen show in the 90s and the overall vibe.. like it's just 20/10. I am literally so amazed. I cried my eyes out at the ending because it was so good and hopeful and happy and amazing and immaculate.

Erin finds it easy to forget that she’s dating someone else – told him she loved him and everything only a month ago for Christ’s sake – when she watches James. She’s very good at watching James. If there were a sport for it, she’d be professional. She could get a degree in it. Honours for never getting caught. Extra credit for the most sublime affectation of nonchalance that you could imagine, all while her eyes skim across his face, along his hair, his cheek, his neck. Top marks.

He’s pretty. Not in a pretty boy kind of way. Not just in a pleasing to the eye kind of way. In a kind of way that makes her feel totally delusional just to look at him, like really look at him. He’s just so very James – shoulders sometimes a little hunched, hands sometimes stuffed into his pockets, the edges of his mouth sometimes (always) on a downward trend until they are curving up and up and he smiles and it feels like the fucking sun. Like basking in a late summer golden hour, wishing always to live forever in that moment, liking it all the better because she can’t.

She thinks sometimes she’s the only one who notices. No one else thinks he’s pretty. Well – maybe his girlfriend does. But she can’t really imagine Faye thinking it quite like that. Not like Erin thinks it. Not like Erin feels it – overwhelmed sometimes, basking in him in only the kind of way she thinks she can do.

She watches him and wonders – how would his cheek feel under her hand and how would he kiss her again and what words would he say now, after all this time. She sometimes forgets that she ever got to do any of that. Maybe if she remembered she wouldn’t long for it so much. Maybe if she remembered, she wouldn’t watch him.

Or maybe she does remember. Maybe that’s why she can’t stop.

Sometimes she wonders if he watches too – is he thinking about her when he stands across the room, when he looks her way? Does he take the seat across from her, always now, all the better to see her face?

It’s to create distance, that’s all, is what she tells herself. He never sits just next to her. Not anymore. But sometimes she looks up, eyes skimming over him as if it means nothing, as if she’s not thinking about how long since she last did it, as if she’s hoping no one is noticing that she’s looking at him quite so much, and she’ll find that his eyes are skimming too. No, more than skimming; concentrated right on her face.

And when their eyes meet, it’s always look away, look away as fast as you possibly can, all while a zip of embarrassment and something more – adrenaline – finds its way just as fast through her limbs.

Sometimes she thinks she’s gonna lose it, just totally lose it, thinking about him like this. Like he’s hers. Like he is exactly who is meant for her. Like the next time he even comes close to her, she’s going to totally lose it and kiss him. Like she’s going to confuse this absolutely bonkers fantasy, like she’s going to totally fucking embarrass herself thinking that he wants this too. He doesn’t. She would know. She would know for sure, if he did.

If he cared about her at all, she wouldn’t be wondering. Wouldn’t be thinking about it like this, fixated and distracted and biding time until she can next bloom again under his gaze.

Sometimes she wonders what it’s all for – all of this desire. What does she hope for? What does she want? Does she want him to know? The thought sounds humiliating. Does she want him to want her too? Yes. But she doesn’t know where to put it, all this wanting. Because, laid bare, at the end of it all, she’s not quite sure what’s left. Sometimes she thinks she can see the smoke figures of their future, hers and James's, if there ever was going to be one; one slight breeze blows it all away. 

And Liam. Liam. He’s not smoke. He’s real. And, with him, she’s never left wondering. She’d be so foolish not to choose that.

It always happens this way – when James visits Derry – Erin gets so tired, feels so run ragged from all of the waiting. Waiting until she can see him again, waiting until she catches his eye again, waiting until she gets a wee, tiny shred of evidence that maybe she’s right for reading so much into it. Waiting for the next hit of a glance like her fucking life depends on it. It’s really feeling like her life depends on it. And when Liam, her sweet fella, asks her how her trip home was – was it good? – she will only say that it was “Fine. You know how it is,” and then slip ever more shoddily, ever less surely back into her usual life, counting down the days until the next time.

Starting in 2003 or 2004 the show was, everything you want from a British TV show and also being realistic to council life, council estate life being on the, drug taking, blended families, extended families, childhood neglect, abuse, prostitution, step parent, affairs ,crime, mental illness and many other topics that come along the way and new characters when you live in this kind of life in the UK.

The only reason people say the American version of this is better is because America is a lot larger country for them to be saying there’s a lot more of them England is tiny compared to America, but the thing is that the Americans are missing about this show is the nitty-gritty of life on the bread line, in the beginning it started with the Gallagher but slowly the Gallagher started to leave the show and they only seem to be remaining one with Frank and Carl throughout the series, left in season four and Fiona didn’t even make it past series 2, but the way David trefel, plays a alcoholic is amazing, some actors are really amazing at doing this, and make it really believable that they are the person they are on the TV show. as we got into season is it focused more around them with Patrick being the family patriarch dad from Northern Ireland?, and Mimi, the family matriarch from Liverpool he’s more soft-spoken, but they’re both both loudmouth drug dealing crime family, they have many sons and one daughter, they had a cameo in the first few series, but they really came to their own in season four and five when they took over from the Gallaghers, I would say holding the latest season would be Kelly McGuire, the local prostitute, who is married to Shane Maguire, one of Mimi and Patrick’s sons, she works in the local brothel for Lillian, and she’s a very likable character, all although she is considered scum for being a prostitute in m most places in this series she holds up as a really good friend, wife and also as a mother figure to Stella and Liam in later series.

When Patrick leaves and he goes back to Ireland Mimi, then gets with Billy who is the father to her youngest Cilla who she has much later in life, realising that she’s even pregnant, she’s severely constipated and not very well and that pub is getting taken over by a new crime family. She’s upstairs giving birth., but she gets with a man he’s watching at the time she didn’t realise was 14, she made him disappear because she was disgusted, as he kidnapped baby Cilla, desperate and worried while she’s out shopping she doesn’t know who is taking her baby and then she sees the CCTV footage and it’s Billy. He has come back to try and find his daughter and make a relationship with Mimi., at first she is skeptic and doesn’t really want to, her daughter having a relationship with her father, they later to get together as a couple during this time, he is now a few years older well he is now 16, and this is another thing in TV shows they will sometimes make it like your real life because in real life Tina Malone is with her much younger man and they wrote it into the TV series, and then you have some really pivotal characters who make the show kind of like pat butcher is EastEnders being an agony aunt , you have Lillian the local Madam of the brothel she is nicknamed by Frank Bos selected by her appearance,, and she comes out with some really funny out of pocket remarks, such as I’m just coming to the shop to do the condom run for my girls, really funny sexual stuff, when husband in the earlier series gets shot by Carl Gallagher by accident, she got all my Brenda and he was a heart attack waiting to happen he was overweight he had heart attack written all over him, he was shot though , but he was holding a bag of chips at the time, and at the time when he dies, Frank tells Lilian not to register the death so they can collect his benefits and then they do this funny photo shop picture of the two of them together imposing Frank and Brendan looks together and making it look relievable. I just think it’s a really funny TV show and it’s always my TV program because it’s relaxing and for my autism and I have to have this weird routine for my worst series is series 5, my best series is series one and two and four series six is good series 9 and eight on so great , but like I said when the Gallagher slightly leave and there’s not many of them left and McGuire really hope their own especially Mickey McGuire he is a homophobic homosexual who is very loyal to his family, he writes fiction, really into his movies, and film at college and does plays as well, he also becomes like a dad to Cilla because he’s always looking after while Mimi is doing everything else, anyway if you haven’t seen it, it’s a must watch for anyone especially someone who’s from the UK and in the category of life of someone in shameless.

Hi! This is where I have info on what I write, who I write, and what I am comfortable writing/what you can request! If you have any questions feel free to ask me!

I write fanfiction, oneshots, and imagines, and headcannons!

These will of course include age regression or pet regression in some way, wether you the reader are a regressor, or a character is.

This is a 100% SFW blog, so no NSFW writing at all. I’m not comfortable doing that for age/pet regression.

When James was around 5 years old he was one of 4 James' in his kindergarten class, and a note was sent home to his parents explaining that he needed to have some sort of nicknames so the 4 don't get mixed up. He started getting referred to as his middle name, Conrad, or Connie for short. Kids were not kind to him afterwards and he got heavily made fun of for this. He became very quiet and introverted to a point that he wouldn't even speak to his parents. Noel slowly started to introduce him to the music industry, in hopes that it might be a good outlet for his young son. For starters, he was born prematurely and scared the life out of his parents. He almost died, something about his lungs not breathing properly. Noel was trying to see what was wrong with his son but the nurses wouldn't let him even hold Beckham. He eventually decided to just pick him up, ignoring the words from the nurses, and held him against his bare chest like he had done with his other 3 children. Like a miracle, Beck started breathing normally, matching his breaths to his fathers. As he grew up he became more and more rambunctious, only ever having the energy of a mosh-pit at all times. The amount of times he's woken his parents up is too many to count on a hand, the amount of times he's gotten in trouble for not staying still in class is too many to count on a hand. Beckham never got any smack from his parents though, of course not, he's their miracle baby. Noel and Mary are just happy that their little boy has the lung capacity for all the gleeful screaming and running around he does all the time. He had a strong relationship with his twin sister, Cecilia, and they were stuck together like glue.
