Link x GN! Reader
*Warning for kissing*
For the past few days you and Link have been searching for your memories, using Link's Sheikah Slate. A few of your memories had been shared with Link but mostly they were separate. The horses you were riding came to a stop and you and Link hopped of. He pulled out the slate to check the album
."This it it!" He exclaimed, looking around for the glowing light.
"It's rather nice" you respond. You both jog over to the glow, suddenly you remember.
_______________________
You and Link were looking loving into each other's eyes. You had him against the wall and your hand on his cheek. Link grabbed your head and mashed your lips against his. Your eyes grew wide at his boldness but slowly they shut as you took in the pure bliss you were feeling.
You then pull away, breathing hard and blushing profusely. As you begin to lean on for more you hear feet running on the stone and Zelda calling to you both. Link pushes you off on him and scampers to act casual.
__________________________
Suddenly you snap back to reality in a flash. You turn your head to look at Link, his hand was over his mouth and his face was bright red. He looked back at your blushing face.
"Um, let's k-keeping going now." He spoke softly.
"I thought you had a thing for Zelda?" You muttered quietly.
"What was that?"
"Nothing"

To Kiss a Vagrant
No wonder they called it the river of the dead; the area beyond possessed just as much life as a mummy in a tomb.
Not even the blades of grass moved here.
You trudged up a hill; the only sound was your lungs shuddering for breath.
You stopped at the summit of the steep slope you managed to tread atop. You pulled out your Sheikah Slate, noticing the blinking dot on the map now a lot closer than an hour ago.
"Perfect. I should arrive just before the sun sets."
You tucked it back into your knapsack, which had sunk slightly off of your shoulder blades. Hoisting it back up, you pressed forward.
In the far-off distance you could see sharp stone hoardings stabbing the clouds.
That was your destination.
The ruins of the infamous Temple of Time.
As predicted, the sun began to droop beneath the horizon. The mangled ruins of the temple of time had managed to swallow away any of its remaining radiance. As you entered the temple your finger traced against the cobblestones of the doorway, the history tangible against your touch. Ahead, a giant goddess statue stood surveillance.
If your research was correct, beneath it would be treasure. Enough treasure to help your starving family whose fate hate been determined by the advent of the great calamity. There was a reason you chose the ruins of the Temple of Time and not those of Hyrule Castle Town, where you once lived.
First, you knew looters had already picked it over. Second, you couldn't bear to see the shreds of a life you would never live again decimated around your feet.
Well, then there was the fact there were still guardians rumored to be attacking any remaining civilians.
The truth of the matter was that your family could have had it much worse. They made do renting a small room out in a house built by Hudson Constructions in Hateno. But a room was not enough for your aging parents and their flowering, rebellious daughter.
You concocted a plan. Through the many moving mouths of Hateno gossip, there were multiple rumors of treasure throughout the many ramshackles and demolitions that remain throughout Hyrule. The Temple of Time was not only your first choice because of its history throughout the royal family, but the trail through the dueling peaks was less perilous than, say, Eldin or the Gerudo wastelands.
Then there was also the rumor of the hero put into cryonisis somewhere around the plateau.
Truthfully, you never believed that rumor or that the princess was still alive in the castle, holding off the malice from ravaging the rest of the land.
But if the princess had saved her knight and put him into a temporary centennial coma, you couldn't help but wonder—was he cute? Why else would she have gone through all that trouble?
You walked forward, amused by the direction of your thoughts. Calamity Ganon didn't just destroy Hyrulian infrastructure, but he also annihilated all of the hotties that once lived within it. But you didn't have time to fantasize about men and love.
You had bigger goals, and that was to secure a treasure worth enough rupees to build your family their own home. As you approached the goddess statue, your reverie was ruptured by the sound of a snort.
It was the first noise you had heard besides your own footsteps in hours. And very well about to be your last. Before you knew it, you felt your body slam into the unforgiving unevenness of the marble floor. The snorting now penetrating your eardrum accompanied by droplets of plump saliva.
"ACK!"
You looked up to see the predatory gaze of a Bokoblin atop you. Its weight pushed your body hard into the pebbles and stones on the ground, causing painful indents on your skin.
You floundered beneath it, noticing your knapsack, which had slid off and now rested out of reach by your kicking feet.
"NO!" You hollered, your jaw clenched as you did your best to keep the beast from advancing on top of you. A temporary reprieve came as the beast stopped fighting against you. Only to raise its claw and gash the buttons off of your shirt.
My family... they depend on me... please...
The goddess statue looked down at you with no remorse. The Bokoblin lifted its claw ready to strike again. You scrunched your eyes closed, bracing for impact.
Until you heard a confident yet soft voice command, "BEAST! RELEASE HER!"
A streak of muddled brown and beige crossed your vision, and suddenly your body felt light. The bokoblin flew against a wall, its body cascading down, purple blood splattering across some of the fractured columns.
You looked at the dead bokoblin in shock. Then toward the figure standing before its dead body.
He turned and peered at you from over his shoulder. He held a giant stick in his hand, tossing it to the ground before turning around.
His scraggly mess of golden hair was tied in a loose ponytail and the clothes he wore were in worse shape than the body of the dead bokoblin. But none of that really caught your attention like the face wearing those rags.
A really handsome face.
"Maiden? Are you harmed?" He stood, remaining at a safe distance. You became aware of your tattered top that revealed too much skin and quickly gathered it with a slight glow of your cheeks.
"I—um," his cobalt eyes remained aloof, observing you with concern.
"Yes. Thank you. If you hadn't been here... but why are you here?" He walked over to your knapsack and picked it up, handing it to you.
"I should be asking you that question. A young woman should not be roaming these fields alone."
You glanced at the stick he dropped. You felt a lump form in your throat. This man had defeated this creature with a mere stick. If he had possessed a blade, goddess, he would have been formidable. You returned your eyes to his. "A young man with a stick should not be also."
This made him smirk. "What do you call yourself?"
His vernacular was outdated but you managed to understand him somehow. "Y/N. And what do you call yourself?"
It was as if he didn't expect you to ricochet his question back to him. After an awkward long pause, he responded. "I am told I am called Link."
Great. The first cute guy I've met in eons, and he'doesn't even know his name. Still... Your eyes wandered over the way the cheap cotton could not seem to house the generous round bulges of his biceps.
"I should be going. Thank you again, Link."
"Wait!" He gently grabbed your shoulder, halting you. "It's dangerous to go alone! It is nightfall, and many monsters roam. I have a camp not far from here. Please. Stay by my side this evening."
A small satchel swung from his belt loop; he fumbled with releasing it before pulling out a mushroom. "I also possess food. See?" He twirled the mushroom around between his fingers before lifting it to his mouth and taking a huge bite.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING! You can't just eat raw mushrooms like that! Where did you come from? Beneath a rock?"
He shook his head. "No, I hail from a shrine."
Suddenly the roles had reversed, and you decided you didn't want to leave Link alone. You sighed. "I have flint. Let's make ourselves a fire, and we can grill those mushrooms. I have some carrot and pumpkin too."
Link walked over to the stick he had used to fight the Bokoblin. Specks of blood dotted the tip. "We can use this."
"Ah-" You grabbed the stick from him. "No, no! It's ok, I have a small pot with me!"
You both began to saunter outside of the temple, the vacant stare of the goddess lingering on your backs. Link stopped, looking back at the statue. "I come to this temple often. It is as though the goddess; she speaks to me."
His tone was empty; his eyes filled with a sorrow you couldn't place. Moonlight filtered through cracks in the temple's walls, and its soft glow baptized him. Much like the destruction of the temple, you could see slits and scars of bygone havoc peeking out beneath the collar of his shirt.
This boy. Is he really just a vagrant?
Only the goddess knew, and she wasn't talking.
The following hours seeped by with a voracious speed. Before you knew it, the sun broke forth, splashing the great plateau's fields with hues of crimson and citrine.
You had learned absolutely nothing about Link. But in those few short hours, he had learned everything about you. He seemed to digest all of your stories as quickly as he digested the delicious, glazed veggies you cooked for him.
"This village, Hateno, perhaps I shall seek it next." He grabbed his satchel, only instead of a mushroom, he pulled out a Sheikah Slate.
"Link! A Sheikah Slate?" You grabbed it from him, your voice elated. "Here. I'll program it for you so that you can find my village. Please, you must come. I can get you some new clothes!" You bit your lip. "Er, I mean, not that your clothes are bad or—"
He chuckled softly. "No, it is quite alright. Perhaps I do require new garments."
A silence as warm as the new dawn spread between you both. So far, his decorum was nothing but that of a gentleman. A knightly chivalry, almost. But now, as his eyes stared with an overt, lascivious hunger at your lips, it prompted you to react. "Is something wrong?"
He shook his head. "How uncouth. Forgive me."
Despite his apology, his brows remained furrowed as if recalling something.
"Link?" He snapped his head in your direction.
"I am told I am called Link yet it does not sound as though it belongs to me. But when your lips say it, it is shelter, it is home." He stood brushing off his tarnished trousers.
"I shall see you in Hateno. I must attend to matters before I join you again, maiden." His head pointed in a direction absently, as if he was listening to someone or something speak to him. He looked down at you after a moment. "On my troth, I shall join you again. Y/N."
He had finally said your name, and the intimacy it created was indubitable. He held his hand down, allowing you to grab onto it and pull you onto your feet. His hand held onto yours, not releasing it from its clasp. "Maybe next time, you can tell me about yourself?"
His mouth opened, and he fought against a word on the tip of his tongue. Instead, he smiled. "I shall."
You both stood; the empty rolling fields no longer felt barren thanks to the enormity of the presence of Link and all his secrets.
You looked over at the temple, remembering why you had come in the first place.
But there was a greater treasure next to you. And you decided you weren't leaving without it.
"Link?"
"Hm?"
You bounced up on your tippy toes, planting a soft, firm kiss on his lips. His eyes flew open, his Adam's apple ricocheting up and down in his throat as his lips hung in shock. Something had been activated within him. He grabbed your waist and pulled you into him.
He crashed his mouth against yours, his teeth collided with your own as he pushed his tongue past the threshold of your lips. His hands clawed at your face as he held you there, sucking against your tongue. He broke the kiss with the same inhalation of breath as if he had been underwater.
"You don't remember your name, but you remember how to do that?"
He grinned. "My lips know the requirements of your own. Now go forth. Your treasure waits."
Your fingers caught against the thin fabric of his tunic as you pulled him back toward you. "I already found it."

May I ask Wild with a reader who got hit by Ganon's malice on the final fight and gets infected (like, veins turning purple, pale and clammy skin, drained energy and etc) pretty please?
In flesh, blood and bone.
Omg i’ve literally been obsessed with this since you sent this in!! Finally got around to it (after a while, admittedly) but I hope you enjoy!
Tw: Description of decomposition and gore.
☆⋆。𖦹°‧★
The cyclical war of good and evil had taken its toll down the timeline. Dues were paid in blood and flesh. Link knew this. He knew this very, very well. It was hard to ignore given the fact of it was branded into his skin. Time and time again, life through life he can understand his place. He was a means to an end in the eyes of many. He was a saviour to the others.
He was a Hero.
Even if sometimes he really wishes he weren’t.
He knew that he was unlikely to finish things. But perhaps with enough blood, with enough effort, with enough pain he could bring an end to things.
He’d paid in flesh. As many of the victims of the calamity did.
He was covered in scars, gained both prior and post the guardian ending his life for the first time. But make no mistake, it was not the matter of the scar that bothered him. The uneven texture in his skin wasn’t uncanny after a while. Skin was just skin. He didn’t feel much like himself anyway, so it wasn’t like it mattered. It wasn't the flush of blood or streaks of uncanny colour that bothered him. Well that’s not to say they never did. The looks he got while walking through villages were less than enjoyable, but you quelled that. One soft, loving glance and the whole world doesn’t matter. Let alone their hostility.
It was perhaps the sight of you now that made him hate his scar.
It was the reminder of what it meant.
The mold. The rot. The decomposition.
Malice, as the people called it.
And Oh how he hated it.
He was not usually so squeamish. The squelch of a dying monster or the marr of an unmoving corpse had never really bothered him. Not when it was his purpose.
The former was the before stages of the rot. It was just spilled blood. It was just body. Of course it wasn’t really living persay, but it was close enough that all he had to do was ignore the glassy eyes and he was fine. The latter was when the rot was already over. The bones were picked clean, the blood and flesh returned to the earth to start anew. Bones would always just be bone.
It was the inbetween that really, really began to bother him.
It was tender flesh melting and oozing. It was soft tissue becoming home to fungi. It was the body no longer being a body but not quite bone. It was You laboured to breath, the wind a hollow whistle in your lungs. It was how your eyes fluttered, bloodshot. It was how your tears were cold against your feverish skin, the salty beads puss filled and gorey. It was how your skin was pale and patchy in places, flushed pigmented and unhealthily purple in others. Your skin was sunken and sagged. It was how your skin was plump and pushed awkwardly against your bones.
The malice seeped through your blood. It pushed through your injuries, webbing over your skin and casting roots into muscles.
And all he could do was weep.
He was utterly useless.
He sat by your bedside for weeks as Purah tried her hardest to fix you.
He kept staring down at you, replaying everything. It should’ve been him. You should’ve never been there. He could do nothing but watch as that disgusting thing whittled you down to nothing. Malice clinging to your skin; you screamed. A noise of such absolute agony he nearly dropped the mastersword where he stood.
He knew the dues were paid in blood. In body. In bone.
But why did it have to be you?

Omg I saw that you were taking requests- how do you feel about me requesting yandere platonic Malice Link but specifically Fae!Hyrule. I imagine it would take place or at least their first encounter would be in a forest. Since it’s Malice!Link there would probably be at least some hostility at first with the reader walking a tight rope of emotions. But it basically evolves from that to subtle manipulation not even realizing it’s gone from 0-100 with hostility turned into possessiveness.
Order up!
Love this request so much oh my gods!! Hope you enjoy it~
Tw: Yandere, mentioned murder
𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝
The forests here were quiet— and dead. It’s the best way to explain it, but to some extent one would inevitably lead you to assume another. The forest was hauntingly absent of the chitter from its animals and the wind was dead from the sky— it naturally leads one to assume that there is no life within the woods. It would’ve turned most away from making their way through the thorn bushels and further into the forest itself. Or, rather, it should’ve turned you away, you should’ve known better. Bad things happen to the people that go into these woods. But alas, the sun was high and the morning was fresh and some old maidens tale about silly fairies wasn’t going to keep you from some wild berry pie.
There was someone new in his woods. Hyrule had really thought people had learned their lessons by now. Usually the glowing red pools of malice and gloom would steer them off course far enough to walk right back into their own village. The sharp-toothed mouths in the trees drive fear into the heart of any hunter and the sensation of the yellowed eyes watching make any animal prey. And yet, the new animal sauntered through his woods, basket looped around their elbow. Their blood was untainted, it rushed through them beat by beat, the sound filling his ears. They drove his senses haywire, leaving behind a trail that he felt compelled to follow.
The bushes were full of freshly ripened berries, their skins a vibrant glossy mauve. Your basket was filled when you turned to see a person, standing wide eyed behind you. He looked pale, cheeks slightly sunken, light brown hair tousled and with a stare so intent, you felt as if you should’ve expected him to have said something. And yet he stared with unblinking hazel-blue eyes, a single fang pushing over his lip.
“Are you alright?” You could’ve smacked yourself right then. Sneaking into a supposedly haunted forest and seeing a man stare at you, and your first words are ‘are you alright’?
“No” He clutches his sides slowly, sharp nails digging into the fabric of his shirt. With no other real idea of what to do, you hold out your basket of berries —which also included some honey to preserve a few of the berries in— to which he looks inside cautiously. You get a closer look at him and see the freckles dotting his cheeks and the fact he looks dangerously thin. Your eyes catch on a violently red looking scar lining his chest, but when you shift to get a closer look, he darts back. You open your mouth to say something, and yet he’s already back within the woods.
He hated himself. Hyrule doesn’t really recall if he did before, but he most certainly does now. As it turned out, the new person prancing through his forest was not a hunter like the hundreds of others since. You did not come with iron chains and steel blades with the hopes of his death bringing honor to your name. No. You were the closest thing to acceptance he’s had in a long while. Maybe you were a fool. Maybe you were meant to s- He wasn’t meant to be saved. He cut the thought short. He was cursed now, baneful hatred blotting out his mind until he’s not sure what’s him and what’s it. He’d slaughtered the many men that came through his lands like they were no more than mice or minish. It was easy. And yet, as your hand shifted slightly while holding a basket, he bolted like he was the mouse —prey hiding from their death. It didn’t make sense. He wasn’t supposed to crave to be liked. He was supposed to be hated— to be feared. It’s what kept him alive for so long. It makes no rhyme nor reason that you’d care for a cursed creature such as himself. Even if the malice didn’t rip at his skin to make scars and it didn’t taint what was once good and kind into gloomy and miserable, He still couldn’t be loved by you. He was fae. His kind was supposed to trick foolish humans and toy away with their lives. He was supposed to bend his words so you’d agree to a promise sealing your fate to some comical story book ending where he gains the upper hand. And yet, he found himself mulling over the curiosities in your eyes, the purse of your lips, the thump of your heart. All things that —down to his very anatomy— he was supposed to hate. And yet he could not bring himself to. Whatever fleshy scraps were left of his heart were reaching through the cracks in his ribs toward you. He hated it. He hated the way his heart raced when hearing your familiar father-light steps. He hated the way he bore a sharp toothy grin upon seeing your return. Those teeth were meant to cut and kill, not simply be means to an expression. He hated that the honey you left him, infused with wild berries, was so sweet. He hated it was an appeasing offering to him. Maybe to some sense you were a hunter. And what an odd hunter you were to aim for his heart in such a manner.
And yet you persisted. Weekly or so you made a good habit to leave some food for the frail man you saw. You’re not sure why exactly you felt inclined to do so. Guilt, perhaps, he looked rather shaken by you shifting slightly, the last you could do was provide him with some good meals. There wasn’t any good food aside from the plants in the forest anyway, and that wouldn’t keep someone as frail as him alive. You saw more of him. It was slow, a hand taking the food a few minutes after you set it down, a cautious look shared before he scurried away. He’d come out of whatever tree or bush he’d been hiding in before claiming whatever prize you got. And eventually he’d even sit with you as he ate. You were slow, always keeping the same distance and dropping off the food at the same bush you met him. You learned the reason why the old wives of your village told you to stay away from the forest for what may be within. There was evil within the marred roots of every sickly tree and the man in front of you, while not really a man, was sick. And yet like any sick thing the world told you to ignore, he proved he was worth saving. He gathered his own little silly silver gifts to give and kept you safe while you foraged through the night. When you ran out of ear space for the little hoops he gave you rings, all in your size and he didn’t question why you came running, clothes in hand with a mob behind you. Instead he protected you, cradling your shaking body.
His eyes, glinting yellow, bore into the crowd which chased his love right to him. It was quite a strain, he’d admit. First whispering to the weavers, spinning stories of how you’d betrayed your better judgment and was lured into the woods. To them you were cursed just as he was, and so, you were exiled to much the same fate. But you needn’t worry, you mustn’t. He knows which herbs and incantations lessen the malice’s bite. You’ll be safe here with him. Maybe not happy for a while, but it’s not like you have another option aside from him. With rings on your finger and matching curse bound in blood, he dragged you to the little den he’d prepared for him and his spouse. Not quite the storybook ending.

uhmmm so i rlly miss writing, especially for the fanfiction community.
i know i literally just decided i wanted to retire and it might be for the best honestly, but at the same time i cannot put out this burning passion, especially when im back into wanting to find fanfic to read, i just feel like i have to give to the community as well and share my work.
i think maybe i just needed some time away from it, and maybe a big refresh from old work, honestly.
i’m back into being obsessed with loz and i love link sm it’s such comfort for me when im going thru a hard time.
so, there’s a story i originally wrote on wattpad, unfortunately everything on there is taken down, but i still have every draft saved. i never published that story here, but im really considering the idea of revisiting it, revising, and maybe only publishing that for now, just as a fresh start. i just miss writing my comfort so much.
if i were to do that, would you guys want it?
brief description for the story, it’s a botw linkxreader,
and reader works at her family owned stable, but she wants to be a traveler. unfortunately, her father is worried about her doing that and forbids her from it, keeping her safe at the stable, but she refuses for that to be her life. so of course, link comes by and saves the day, per usual.
i won’t be able to see the answers until after the poll is over so based on your answers if u can also leave a comment with feedback that would be awesome :)

My mom’s been talking about how she wants to see some of my writing eventually, and on the one had I’m really glad that she’s interested in my hobbies
…but on the other hand, I’m not sure how she’d feel about the fact that so far, the only thing I’ve written is one and a half chapters of TOTK LinkxReader gay porn.

Cannot believe I am doing that again...*sighs*
Well, I cannot deny it any longer, it is just impossible <.<
I guess...I have a writer block for the zelda fandom. That sounds so weird, so let me explain:
I just...can't. I dont know. I see the request and brain is empty. Literally empty.
It's not I dont like the games anymore. Thats not. The Legend of Zelda will ever hold a deep place in my heart.
But I just cant write shit for it right now. I believed TOTK would give me new spirit, new fuel to it. A re-awakening of a hyperfixation on Link again how it was 2018 to idk...2021?
It didnt happen. While TOTK is indeed a great game, dont get me wrong on that term. Yet, it didnt fired up like BOTW did it.
And well, the huge frustration I am only good enough for nsfw requests didnt make it easier to feel out of touch. I am honored you consider me as a good source for linkxreader smut. I see it when even old pieces of 2019 still gets love from you.
I dont know, that sounds like fandom quitting.
What I want to say is: I am sorry. I am sorry I gave the requests in my inbox the hope I would get my shit together and do their ideas. It isnt that I havent done nothing. I started with the first, but I just cant finish it. And that is unfair. You are truly patient, and I thank you deeply for that. I really wanted to do them, but I can say for sure this will not gonna be to happen. I am sorry, I have to decline now all open requests. (what are 3!)
Dont worry, your ideas will be yours, I will just delete your requests. And I promise I will never publish whatever I started to write. It is your idea after all.
I cannot say for sure when I have a muse to write for Zelda again. Right now, my hyperfixation is stuck on a different game, on a different man.
I will draw for Zelda, Linktober is coming. That's right now my only way to show my love for it.
I hope you can understand.

Can I get some domestic headcannons for link and his s/o?
hi hi, thanks for being my first link request!
just a general note: ive got a lot of requests in my inbox but i promise i will get to each one of them!
link with a domestic s/o
Tumblr media
pairing: link x reader (gender neutral)
media: breath of the wild
content warnings: slight angst
➵ you and link had been in contact through most of the calamity, though he wouldn’t let you get anywhere close to the actual beast, let alone the castle, you were always writing.
➵ of course you didn’t want to take up too much of his time as he was defeating the calamity, you knew that his dedication lay with retaking hyrule. however, you yearned for the day that you would be able to spend all your time with link, but you would have to be patient.
➵ of course after the trials and tribulations of the last months before link was to fight the calamity you were a bundle of worry and nerves, however, link never seemed to falter. he went along with his training, taking down even the most vicious of beasts
➵ upon hearing of his success against the beast you felt like the fog over you had lifted and you rushed to find your knight.
➵ you both decide together to leave link’s small house in hateno and find a place that was entirely free of any memories of the long battle. of course you would return to pay visits to everyone that you had become close with, but having your home be free of those memories was important.
➵ link immediately takes up baking, he just loves a warm kitchen with the smell of pastries in the air. not only that, but the words of love that you grace him with after enjoying some of his treats is a huge bonus.
➵ you had never really stopped to consider the privilege of being able to wake up next to someone you love, as you had never really had the time to do so with link. but even from the first morning of doing so you were absolutely hooked and promised yourself that you would never go back to sleeping alone.
➵ every once in a while you and link travel to a nearby village or lodge to find a new stack of books to bring home for reading at night. link promises that one day he’ll go find some of the books from inside hyrule castle, claiming them to be the best reads.
➵ the simplicity of a shared bath is never beyond either of you, and you often find yourselves sharing one, washing eachothers hair and bodies.
➵  just sharing a space with you is more than link could have ever asked for, he loves just existing in your presence as much as possible.

Voice of The Goddess Part 2
Part 1
After dying the Goddess Hylia asks for your help in the fight against Calamity Ganon. You find yourself beside Zelda, Link and the 4 Champions of Hyrule. Armed with knowledge of the previous games and a Magic long forgotten will you be able to prevent the tragedy in store for our heroes.
Rated T
Zelda/Reader, Link/Reader, Mipha/Reader, Revali/Reader
Chapter 2
After singing a hole in the clouds, the three Hylians were more inclined to believe your claims. The four of you left the Spring of Courage to make your way south to the Highland stable where their horses were currently being boarded.
Zelda had so many questions for you, Her curiosity seemingly unquenchable. She apparently liked researching and analyzing ancient technology and history. And the Sun’s Song seemed to fall under that category.
“How did you learn such a song? It was thought that much of the knowledge from before the First Calamity 10,000 years ago had been lost.”
“Oh, I know a bunch about the old stories. That song was one the Hero of Time learned, although it originally switched around night and day.”
“I would very much like to hear them. It will be some time before we reach the stable.”
So you do you best to recount the first part of Ocarina of Time, the Princess swallowing up any information voraciously. It was absolutely adorable how enthusiastic she was about learning.
Her eyes sparkled as she listened and tried to ask insightful questions about the child hero. You hoped your answers were equally insightful but you doubted it. Impa seemed equally enthralled with your tale. At least until you got to the part about the young Princess.
“So she could use her magic even though she was still so young?” The was something tense in Zelda’s voice. She looked down at her own hands which were fidgeting nervously. Link and Impa seemed just as on edge.
“Did I say Something wrong?” Oh god you hope you didn’t horribly offend the Princess.
“Well it’s just…” Impa started as she awkwardly scratched at the back of her head.
“My own magic has eluded me for quite some time.” The Princess finished tersely, pointedly not looking at any of you. It seems this is a subject of great distress for the Hylian Princess.
“I was praying in the spring, asking the Goddess to help awaken my sealing power when you appeared in the water.”
“Maybe that’s why she appeared.”
You and the two other women turn to Link after his quiet interjection. You’re still not used to hearing his voice and judging from the other’s reaction, neither were they.
“That actually makes a lot of sense…” Impa rubbed at her chin thoughtfully. “With your knowledge of the ancient stories and magic I’m sure you know the key to unlocking the power to seal away the Calamity.”
Zelda did not appear to be thrilled with this revelation. Her hands gripped at her dress, her shoulders tensed. She still wouldn’t look at anyone.
You couldn’t stand to see her so disheartened. You carefully hold both her hands with your own. “Don’t Princess, I swear I’ll do everything I can to help you unlock your sealing power.”
She looks into your eyes, her green ones misty with intense emotion. “Thank you.” She nods in acknowledgment.
You reach the stable sometime around sunset. The stable owner comments how fortunate this is, as monsters have grown more troublesome during the night.
“It’s one of the signs that Calamity Ganon will soon awaken.” Impa explains. The two of you are in a private tent, meant for the Princess and her entourage, while Zelda changes out of her ceremonial dress. Link had gone to tend to the horses, while the Sheikah woman was trying to find if she had extra clothes you could wear. “Monster attacks have gotten worse and now Stals are showing up.”
You sit with your hands in lap, patiently listening as she explains the current state of Hyrule. How Calamity Ganon (who is apparently not a person this time but more of a force of nature) was prophesied to return soon so the King of Hyrule has ordered excavation and study on ancient Sheikah technology. They’ve currently unearthed for giant machines across the regions of Hyrule called Divine Beasts as well smaller battle machines called guardians. The King had also ordered extensive training for Princess Zelda so she can awaken her sacred powers.
“But Her Highness has a more scientific mind, so the realms of spirits and magic have been difficult for her to access.” She added as she fished around in her pack. “If things weren’t so dire, I kind of wish she could just study tech instead of standing in springs praying.” She holds out some clothes to you, “Here, this should work until we can get you something of your own.”
“Thank you.” You go to a private place to change. Impa had given you a simple navy tunic that ended at your thighs and a tan jacket with wide sleeves that stopped at your elbows and fell just below the knees. There was red sash to tie close, and a pair of simple sandals for your feet. You decided to keep the shift on underneath to keep more coverage on your legs.
You decided to see how it looked in a nearby mirror and were shocked to see your appearance had changed. You now had pale blonde hair, lighter than even Zelda’s. It landed at mid back with a slight wave. Your eyes were a blue green like sea. You think you look a lot like Hylia did when you met her. Perhaps it was her way of marking you as chosen by her.
It was actually really unnerving. Your old life really was gone, wasn’t it? You didn’t even look like yourself anymore. You’re never going to see your family and friends again. How were they taking your death? You realized that you’ve signed your life away to fight in this very dangerous world you don’t actually understand.
Breathing was suddenly becoming way more difficult. You legs gave out from under you and you collapsed onto the floor. You try to find away to steady yourself but your eyes can’t seem to focus. Your hands grabbed at the floor looking for something steady.
“Excuse me, but are you-“ and that’s when Princess Zelda decided to check on you.
You look up at her and your last modicum of control crumbles. You can’t stop crying now, your body heaving with each sob. You try to babble out an apology but you can’t manage to form words.
The Princess kneels down next to you and places her arms around you. You cry into her shoulder, muddled words of you fears pouring out. Her presence is steady and patient as she consoles you.
It takes some time but you calm down enough to pull away.
“I’m so sorry, Princess.”
“It’s alright.” Zelda seems to be considering her words carefully, probably trying to not to agitate your delicate emotional state. “The current circumstances are quite difficult, and you likely need time to adjust.” She looks away from you. “You have not dealt with the shadow of Calamity Ganon hanging over you most of your life.”
And you couldn’t imagine how awful it was to grow up with the apocalypse looming ahead of you. You place one hand on her shoulder and the other over your heart. “This situation is scary for both of us.” She looks into your eyes, “So let’s promise that we won’t go through this alone.”
There’s a faint blush on her cheeks, you hope you haven’t made her uncomfortable. But she places a her hand on the one that’s on her shoulder and gives you a soft smile. “Yes,” she nods, “we’ll work together in this.”

Heal me, please, sweet Y/n {Tp Link x Fem! My writer buddy, Ghostsharda, is making a version of their own about this. Make sure to go check them out! The link to their profile is on mine.} ------------------- "L-Link!? W-What happened to you!? You're hurt, and bleeding really badly!"- Y/n cried out. "Heal me, please, sweet Y/n..."- Link said, though mumbled the last part, making it inaudible. ~~~~~~~~ Much like Link, Y/n isn't your average Hylian girl. She was gifted by the goddess Hylia herself; healing powers. For this reason, she had tailed Link throughout all of his journey, to heal him when ever he needed most, and, possibly, had became the Twilight Princess' second best freind. So when Link get hurt again near his... uhm, a place theat quite frankly doesn't need to be mentioned, Y/n scoldes him once more. Oh, when will Link get the chance to confess his feelings to her without getting himself hurt, both physicaly and emotionaly? Or so he thought...

Hi, when you're not so busy, would you mind writing some headcanons for how Sidon, Revali, and Link (you don't need to do all of them if you don't want to) would act with a sickly s/o? Love your work and here's hoping everything's alright on your end!
Lol I’m good anon, I just caught a bad case of fangirlism for Dragon Age:Origins and a certain warden character. I appreciate the thought though :)
Revali:
Ew, get away.
Don’t get him wrong, he loves you dearly
But as champion, he has to stay in top condition
He can’t afford to catch whatever it is you have.
(Also he’s super germaphobic)
However, if you’re in a really bad state, he’ll step up as personal caretaker
...Sort’ve
You’ll always have an abundance of health elixirs and freshly made stew by your bedside table.
If there’s anything you want, he will just happen to “find it laying around somewhere” on that same day
(Revali, you’re already dating. Why are you being a fucking tsudere!?)
Is the perfect cure for boredom
If you’re too sick to open your eyes, He’ll break out a book and start reading it out loud for you
Contrary to popular belief, Revali’s voice could charm a Hinox
The sarcastic comments, insults and complaining just ruin the effect
The other 5% of the time though, he sounds like a dream
All in all, he’s acting pretty sweet
...Although the fact that he’s using a pair of tongs to hand you stuff kind of dampens the mood
Sidon:
He is the total opposite of Revali
It takes two guards to pry him away from your bedside
“Your Highness please, you have a meeting with-”
“That will have to wait. For now, I refuse to leave my beloveds side while their health’s at risk.”
“But sir-”
Sidon tone will suddenly hardens.
“This is an official order as Prince of Zoras domain. You will stand down and provide no further arguments on the matter, understood?”
Oh shit, Sidon never pulls the authority card
That’s how you know he’s being serious
The guard however, looks more exasperated than anything
“Sir, it’s a cold, not a blight.”
Lying on the bed, you blow your nose as you nod in agreement with the guard
The moment you started sneezing, Sidon immediately put you on bedrest
Honestly, you didn’t feel that bad aside from the cough and stuffed sinuses
A day or two of rest, and you’d be fine
You’ll have to reprimand him to get his (very hot) fish butt in gear
No one’s ever seen Sidon finish his duties so quickly
He’ll return to your bedside as soon as he’s done for the day
He curls his large form around you and nuzzles into your shoulder
You could almost swear he’s purring
(Not only did you get a loving boyfriend, apparently that also meant adopting a pet puppy shark)
(I’m sorry, but I must...)
(PUPPY SHARK DO-DO-DO-DO-DO-DO-)
Link:
Sorry, your boyfriend isn’ available at the moment
There’s only mommy Link now
Out of the three, Link is hands down the best caretaker
Like Sidon he’ll dote on you, but he’ll react more sensibly to the situation like Revali
Which means, unlike Sidon, he won’t act like you’re at deaths door after catching the cucco pox
He’s  high-key a provider
Anything you need, he has at the ready
There’s also the added bonus with his cooking
Dude can make anything mouth-watering without having it churn your stomache
However, he’ll be strict if he needs to be
(Like, he WILL tape oven mitts over your hands if you don’t stop scratching)
Overall though, he means well
Links not much of a talker, so he probably won’t read to you like Revali
Once you’re asleep however, he carefully climbs into the bed and lays down beside you
The entire time, he quietly hums a lullaby in your ear
He vaguely recalls his mother singing it to him as a child
The memory brings a warm smile to his face as he softly continues his mothers song
...She would’ve liked you

“On the Rag”
Synopsis: Sr!Link is utterly clueless of what to do when you come down with a mysterious and sudden infliction which causes you great, unending pain… it’s just your period.

Quite honestly, Link was worried. Of course, his journey was stressful, with the fate of hyrule on his shoulders and as the Dark Knight had kidnapped Zelda. But that wasn’t the current cause of his pacing. Those were all fixable, identifiable issues.
High orders for him to complete, yes, but he at least had some general idea of where to start.
Your recent sickness, however, was not something he knew how to fix.
Monsters could be fought, dungeons could be solved, quests could be completed, but there was no immediate fix-it to your health, especially when you were so insistent that you were “fine.” When that clearly wasn’t the case. Your eyes were tired and loopy, you winced even as you stood or sat still, he even found several discarded bloody rags.
Hylia help him, if the monsters didn’t kill him, you would first.
He’s beside himself, his boots making consistent thumps as he walks in loops, trying to dispel worry from his gut.
“What’s got you all wound up” Wind stood in his path, the sound and light that’d usually come from the medallion not catching his attention, too busy spiralling. He looks around to find the lobby (or at least the small side room he’d begun his breakdown in) blessedly empty with no one to see or hear him be spooked by ghosts of heroes past.
“It’s-“ He begins to talk, only to be interrupted.
“His Lover is sick.” Worlds leaned over his shoulder, countering from all the weight being in his heels. Afterall, he was still leaning back after being spooked.
“They’re not my-“ He’s now doubly mortified. Not only were you in possibly grave dangers he can’t prevent, the group had all got the wrong impression. Good goddesses themselves-
“Oh please” Time huffed, unamused with the musings of his descendants, “With their stubbornness they’ll die, sooner than recover” Link felt the blood drain from his face. Any previous blush left him. Cold. He couldn’t actually lose you, right?
“Awe stop it” Sky managed to shove the others off of him, fussing over Link as though he were a mother cucco. That is, to say, frightening to every other hero.
“Everything will be alright, you hear me?” Still, he felt as if something wasn’t quite right about the whole situation. There was something he was missing. If only you would talk to him.
“What will be alright?” Wild arrived after all his brothers, curious to see what the fuss was about if the rest of them couldn’t fix it.
“It’s just-“ Link could feel the concern and worry break him “I don’t know if they’ll be ok, and they won’t talk to me and I can’t fix it and I know they’re in pain-“ He shudders when he breathes, more than a little embarrassed.
“Hey hey, tell us exactly what the issues are. I’m sure one of us will have an answer!” A chorus of ‘Yeah!’s ensued and it felt as if maybe it will be ok.
“Well- They’ve spent a lot of time resting, still look really tired though… and they wince a lot, even if they aren’t moving. Like something sharp” The others nod along, following the symptoms as Link explains.
“And I've found a few bloodied rags. If it was any extreme wound, a red potion would work, and yet they refuse to take them. As if it wouldn’t work” He looks upon his mentors to find them equally as puzzled as him.
“And their mood- it’s as if they’ve been cursed! They wept like there’s nothing to live for when we met the stable dog when arriving. And they lash out as if i mean harm-“ That does get a few pitiful stares from Sky particularly.
Everyone oohs and aahs over the strange set of symptoms and behaviors. They murmur quietly about poisons, curses, hexes and the like.
“Are y’all jus’ that naive?” A very concerned, slightly exasperated, looking Rancher looks over all the heroes.
“What? You know what it is smart guy?” Worlds raises a single eyebrow in judgement.
“Their period?” He pauses, looking at the group who now resemble a parliament of owls.
“Y’know, ‘on the rag’ ‘shark week?’” He offered, expecting more of a response. There were mumbled ‘Oh’s and nods of acceptance. Twilight couldn’t stop himself from laughing at the absurdity of them debating whether you’d been cursed, meanwhile your body is just doing as it’s supposed to.
“Don’t worry, kiddo. That sweetheart a’ yers will be jus’ fine” The blood returns to Link’s cheeks, flushing them a healthy red.
“Naw go on, i’m sure a hot water bottle and some comfort wouldn’t do em’ any harm”
“And you’re sure that’s what this is?”
“Positive.”
Roughly a half hour later, Link found himself outside your room at the Inn. His arms were full; a hot water bottle he’d gotten from Twi, some chocolates from Wild and a cup of tea Sky said would help with healing.
“Hey, can I come in?” He called weakly, fine to leave the gifts outside if you weren’t up to socialising.
“Mhm” Your equally soft voice called from the other side of the door, drowsy and pained.
“I have some gifts… to uh- help you feel a little better” His smile was as boyish and crooked as always. He always felt a little giddy around you. Like that uninhibited joy from his childhood could worm back into his life, no matter how hellish it got. He set down the tea and the chocolates in favour of helping you sit up.
Now that he knew he had nothing to worry about and you weren’t dying imminently, he managed to find your tousled hair and sleepy smile endearing. He padded your back with pillows and made sure there was a layer or two between your skin and the bottle so there wouldn't be any burns.
“Is that any better?” In all honesty, he was at your beck and call. You could ask him to seek healing from the hottest spring in the depth of hebra and he’d set out without hesitation. He chuckles as you respond in a pleased hum, eyes closed as you’re relieved of some pain. He feels himself settle in his feet. Sure. Calm.
“I have some tea here too, and chocolates. I won’t be offended if you don’t want them. I mean I just heard that the hel-
A finger is haphazardly pressed to his lips.
“Shh.” You demand, and his protests die in his throat.
You pat the spot next to you expectantly, looking back at where he stands, frozen, as if upset he hadn’t moved yet. He sat awkwardly on the bed beside you as you silently shuffled about pillows. He was about to fuss that your back would be sore without padding before you flopped back into the bed and dragged him with you. A noise of surprise leaves him as you decide that you, indeed, wish to be horizontal. He takes a few deep breaths, letting himself settle in the moment and except cuddling with you for a little bit.
For the pain of course.
As friends.
(Bonus: From inside the Medallion, the Twili King had a decent enough understanding of what had transpired. The newest, and perhaps emotionally densest, hero has finally been able to shove it all aside in exchange for some intimacy. It’s so odd. He remembers being so scared to talk to Midna when they were courting, but it all worked out in the end. He’s sure Link will get his happy ending too)
((bonus bonus: Twi has an aneurism upon the discovery that the cuddle session was only seen as “platonic” by the clearly lovestruck idiots))

Had an idea for some Yan!TP LinkxReader who could also shift into a wolf. Working on requests!
Tw: Yandere, Mentions of murder, Mentions of Cannibalism, Obsession
𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝
Link always knew there was something special about you. That was, something beyond the obvious. You were a being of absolute divinity in both beauty and intelligence. Not only that, but you saw him as a fitting devotee to grace with your presence. You saw him worthy of your worship. Someone to keep around rather than abandon, unlike some others he’s loved before. Of course you, absolutely incredible and utterly divine you, was special. There was absolutely no doubt about it —he’d kill anyone who had anything to say otherwise. He didn’t see the need to entertain or engage with such obvious mistruths. But there was always a nagging feeling that there was more to you than he could simply gather at face value. That there was something drawing him to you like a moth to a flame. Like he had some innate need for your presence like a starving man needs food. And yet, no matter how hard he tried nor how long he searched, he couldn’t exactly pin it. Perhaps it was sacrilegious of him to even doubt you, but his senses had never before led him wrong.
One must understand that, in the wreckage of his life post his heroics, the more animalistic side of him had since begun to merge with his sense of humanity. Two things, realms, entities mixing to eventually make some middle ground— an equilibrium. That line between man and beast blurred and bled into one another until he was more of himself than he ever was before. He could track down any missing person —incredibly useful for wrangling the rowdy children of Ordon— a task he could previously only do as a wolf but could now achieve as a human. He now had an odd hunger for raw meat. Originally, this happened posed quite a problem, as people don’t take well to seeing another person scarf down slabs of raw meat. But, as always, you provided a solution. Whenever he’d have to kill a man in offering to you —as they’d gotten too close to you, too close to touching what wasn’t theirs— all Link would need to do after the job was pick the bones clean. The carcass left quite a message, he was sure.
There was, However, the final issue he used to struggle with. The beast often demanded a Mate. He supposed it made some form of sense —the hunger for satisfaction. After All, it’s not like the beast can really understand that there’s more to living than survival and reproduction when you have consciousness. Whenever the urge would come back, knawing at his ribs like a spitting fire daring to be tamed, he’d let it fizzle out. It was all the real options he had. The beast didn’t beg for just anyone to tame the teeming flames. Instead it urged for someone specific. But of course, for no one he knew of. It cried and howled, with no way to sate the beast’s desires. And so, Link resigned himself to waiting. Again, It’s not like he had any other option. But of course you, marvellous you. You were the solution. You happened to be the very one that his soul cried out to. The calm sun, dowsing him with light after so long of storms. Like moonlight to a moth and bread to a starving man, you saved and sated him down to the matter of his vary soul. He didn’t dare question it, not now he had you. That would be simply disgraceful of him to turn you away in even the slightest. So while you attuned yourself to him, he could spend all his time and energy toward cherishing you. He could spend everything toward your worship. While you learned of him and of his home, he learned what foods you best like and how you’d best like him so you would just stay by his side. Please- you’re all he has left.
The summer night was quiet in Ordon, the kids having gone to bed and most of the adults having gone to follow. Crickets buzzed in the tall grasses and the pleasantly cool night meant you could open up the windows. The two of you lounged inside, curled up close. His face was nuzzled into your neck, calmed by the familiarity and warmth of your scent.
“Link?” Your voice was soft and quiet to match the comfortable silence you’d established for yourselves. He hummed back to you in response, looking up. He basked in the attention you gave him, he was blessed that you picked him. You could have had anyone. Well not anyone, he’d kill his competitors.
“Look, I have to show you something, but you have to promise you won’t freak out.” He sat upright with the worry that pulled at your tone. You were too good to live a life that provided you with worries. He’s gone through so much that you could live in blissful peace as you deserve. He’d level towns- he’d bring death to Hyrule as the two of you know it if it means your worries are calmed. You slid off the couch and returned with your fluffy cloak in hand. It was your favorite, lined with a thick pelt capable of keeping you warm and dry in harsh weather. Not to mention, you looked utterly adorable when the fluff dwarfed your frame. You clipped it over your shoulders and anxiously adjusted it so it fit perfectly. You breathed slowly, and it was like energy breathed into the still room. There was a small glow of light, and when it cleared, you were no longer sitting before him. Instead, a wolf looked back at him, ears perked and the same intelligent eyes looking back at his own. You were like him. That’s why you were meant to be together, why his soul called to yours. Gods- you were perfect for him in ways he didn’t know he craved. He was hellbent on making sure that you’d live a good life, by any means necessary.

Hiya, love your writing style its so lovely! I have an idea for a scenario. Link decided to participate in the knightly tournament for the lady of the heart. (Fem!reader)
I am not sure how long you waited in my inbox. I am so sorry. I had a kind of...identical crisis with writing for this fandom because nintendo did not do a great job cherishing the 35 birthday of zelda and I played a lot outside nintendo. Now with the drawing month linktober, I found my spiritis back and now I try to work every request.
Yours was the first one in from this year, so here I am. Hope you can enjoy.
"I will win this for you"
Words: 1.602
With the goddess on his side, it was an easy fight against the calamity and free Hyrule from the evil. He encountered many enemies; he fought many camps – each time a success. The folks already talking about his journey, his bravery, his strength. He was well-known as the hero of Hyrule. However, this was the one side the people saw and know of him. Only a few knew him better than just the little hylian man ready to raid a bokoblin camp only in his underwear and a stick.
You were one of the few and it has to be said, it was more luck that you two got in touch.
After the battle, castle town could be re-build and the life came back to old times. Childrens playing around the streets, guards patrolling, the market full of merchants and artists. A lovely living.
You had a little bakery in the small streets. Not a big and fancy store like the ones on the central market street. It was small and the range of products were kind of small. However, you had a lot of regular customers who enjoyed your makings…and the well-known hero was one of them.
He found the store merely by chance – he just wanted not to talk to hylian woman who seemed to be huge fangirls of his. Even with his 100 years sleep and the fighting experience, he was just a quite young man with not much experience what isn´t fighting or food.
He just ran into your store and hide while you looked kinda puzzled. You knew he was the hero and it would be a lie if you had a little crust because he was damn attractive. But you never thought the hero would enter your store and hide.
You just asked what he actually did and that marked the day your friendship starts. You provided him food for rupees and a hideout while he could talk about things he had in mind – old stories, actual stuff etc.
In the time you two shared, he grew really fond of you. Zelda often giggles when he talks about you in her presence – but she never answered why. Little he knew was what Zelda already assumed – he had a huge crush on you. And really no idea how to confess.
It was the actual day what played in his cards. He was in the store, enjoyed some piece of chocolate breads. But something was off, he could tell. You didn’t talk much and even with the smile you wear; he could feel you had something on your mind. Polite as he was, he didn’t want to ask while you work – so he waited for the end of your work day.
“It is kind of new of you to stay until I finish work” you stated while you cleaned up the store. “Any reason?”
He stands up and walked next to you.
“I can feel something bother you. Want to talk about it?”
You just sighed.
“You really know me good.” You spoke. “It isn’t such a big issue. Just some trouble with money”
A fact where he knew it would come. Even with your regular customers, it was hard to run business. And when something bad happen, it exploded your less earnings. This month, it was some repair works.
He felt kind of bad by the thought. It was maybe to some parts his fault.
It was freedom in Hyrule, but some yiga remained and they were pretty pissed on him. So, they attacked him sometimes. And the last time, it was in your store. In seconds, the customers turned into the yiga and attacked him. It wasn’t a rough fight for him. He could win.
However, the store really was a mess after it.
He really wanted to pay you – but you declined.
“And don’t dare coming up with the pay up. It isn’t just a huge amount. I just need to work harder or I will participate at the tournament next week”
At the end, you could not participate. You were blessed with misfortune and one day before the battle, you hurt your left foot. You really looked forward to the battle – even with the financial issue in your mind.
Now you sit there, hurt and on the edge of starting to cry.
It broke his heart to see you like this. You were his sunlight, his spark of joy in the small streets of castle town. Your warmth gave him strength.
“I really wanted to participate. I knew I would lose if I come to the point fighting you, but know, I can just sit there” you said while he listed to every word. Little you don’t know he already had an idea.
He also participates in the tournament. At the beginning, he wasn’t really into it when Zelda told him. It was more for fun. But he did not see why he should. It was more a challenge to others than to him. However, after you mentioned it, he was burning for it. He even planned playing nice and let you win like a gentleman he was.
Now he really wanted to win and give you the reward. However, he could not say directly to you what he planned – you would deny it.
There will be the day where he will reveal it.
The day of the tournament came. Link helped you to get into the arena. You tried to be looking forward watching the tournament but you could not. You really wanted to participate but your broken leg said otherwise. Maybe you could cheer Link up while he had his battles. He seemed to looking forward to it after you mentioned you wanted to participate. At least, you wanted to cheer for your friend and crush…even if he didn’t know the last part.
You always wanted to confess but you don’t know how. Not to say how he would react. Link did not look to you like someone who was searching for a mate. Your first encounter for example was him hiding for his…fans. But with more time you share, you felt pretty comfortable around him. Kind, good looking and always willing to help – that’s why you always cancel his rupees. You wanted to be at least the only person who will not take advantage of his strongly side to help.
“Try to enjoy it, ok?” he said while you only nod. He was a bit concerned seeing your sad smile.
“I try” you said. “And you try not to be such a pain in the ass for the others”
“I am not sure if I can do this” he only laughed and waved you while he went away.
The trumpeter started and you said the crowd cheering up. Queen Zelda appeared.
“Welcome to our first knight tournament for our celebration of the first-year rebuilding castle town. A huge number of knights and well-known fighters will now fight in a friendly competitive to show the strength from our dear Hyrule”
With this, the fighter went into the arena – the crowd welcomed everyone with loud cheering. Especially for Link, his fangirls were in the crowd. You just sighed a bit, but then looked to the rest of them.
“Let us hear what goals have our fighters to show us their skills”
Zelda walked around and asked every one of them. Some of them said for the price – a whole bunch of rupees, some of them said for glory and some of them said for training. And then, she reached the last one, Link.
“Say Link”, she started. “Do you have any plans why you join? I guess extra training” He shook his head.
And suddenly, he looked in your direction. You were not sure if anyone noticed how he just looked at you and only you. You felt your heart a bit racing by it.
“I have a different reason” he said and the crowd cried our loud. They really wanted to know what it was. You, too.
He looked again direct to you and this time; some heads followed where he was looking.
“[Y/N]…” he started and some in the crowd whistled a bit like they already know what would come.
“I will win this for you”
Did he…did he just said out loud what you really heard seconds ago? Your heart felt like it would explode by now. Your cheeks were burning. Did this mean…you were so confused by his words.
You really wanted to ask him but you cannot. He was fighting.
You really wanted to focus on the tournament but his words made you a bit crazy. Did he also…had feelings? Why did he not mention it? Maybe you had denied it.
You really needed to talk to him after it.
You were so focused you did not realize he won it actually. Well, nobody would say it would lead different.
You just snapped out of your thoughts when you felt some hands on your shoulders – Links.
He smirked like a goddamn bastard at you and you hated and loved it at the same time.
“What..How..why..?” you tried to ask but not any single sentences would leave your mouth.
“Listen…[Y/N]…I am not…very good with words. I always…wanted to say you something…I…wanted to show you…..what you mean to me. But I did not know how…I thought the tournament should be a good idea. Maybe this time, you will accept it?”
This time, you accepted. You nod and out of nowhere, you just kissed him. It took him a bit of guard, but he don’t mind.
He won the tournament…and you.
