#Loveeeeee that movie

I just watched DOCTOR G, and firstly itna wait kyun hi kiya. That movie is so comforting. From the mistakes and reluctance to growth, that movie adopts you. The character is so real and connected. And the relationships with women. Motherhood, professionalism, friendship. I WOULD HAVE KILLED IF FATIMA WOULD HAVE BEEN JUST A ROMANTIC INTEREST.

Kavya, her relationship with uday, the change for his brother, seems like a bollywood happy ending, but you root so hard for it... They couldn't think of changing it. This is what good bollywood feels like, I sincerly sincerly sincerly wish to see more content like this.

i love watching the behind the scenes bits because of the insight it gives you. the death scene was TWENTY EIGHT PAGES LONG in the script and boy did it feel like it. one of the producers mentioned how they “never wanted to take the cameras off the kids because then it’s kind of like.. letting them off the hook” and my writer brain found that supremely gratifying. the complete lack of ‘downtime’ from tom’s call to the press conference forced you to feel some of the tension the siblings did, and it did NOT give you a break because they didn’t get a break. it yanked you in unexpectedly and didn’t let you go for almost a full half hour. it was so masterful and i expect emmys all around <3

If I could make one little change to the lotr movies it would be including Sam choosing to spare Gollum’s life as he did in the book. To be fair Sam and Gollum have a MUCH rockier relationship in the movies so I see where it wouldn’t play well, but it seems such a crucial detail, it is sorely missed. Here’s the passage in question:

"Sam's hand wavered. His mind was hot with wrath and the memory of evil. It would be just to slay this treacherous, murderous creature, just and many times deserved; and also it seemed the only safe thing to do. But deep in his heart, there was something that restrained him: he could not strike this thing lying in the dust, forlorn, ruinous, utterly wretched. He himself, though only for a little while, had borne the Ring, and now he dimly guessed the agony of Gollum's shriveled mind and body, enslaved to that Ring, unable to find peace or relief ever in life again. But Sam had no words to express what he felt."

That said, there’s such a lovely repetition of the three ringbearers after Gollum each having the chance (and good reason) to kill him and each deciding not to. The world is saved due to the mercy and compassion of three little hobbits.

This is especially evident with Sam who has the most reason of all to hate Gollum. Gollum is the most pressing, immediate threat to Frodo and the fate of Middle Earth at large. He has lied to them, betrayed them, and tried to kill them. And yet... Sam lets Gollum live. Because now he, too, has felt the weight of the ring. For the first time, he feels empathy towards Gollum.

This compassion is what saves the world. Each ringbearer looked upon someone utterly destroyed by the ring and found it in themselves to forgive.

I just saw the FNAF movie

some thoughts, allow me to talk

The theater I was at was FULL of FNAF fans, and my bestie’s hyperfixation is FNAF, so the experience seeing the movie was fantastic

”I always come back.” The whole theater SCREAMED. One guy even yelled “HE SAID THE THING!”

MatPat. The whole theater screamed. And he even said “That’s just a theory”!!!! I loveeeeee itttt

The song in the credits!!!!!! IT WAS THE FNAF SONG THE WHOLE THEATER FUCKING SCREAMED.

The animations in the beginning of the movie were FANTASTIC.

Kind of disappointed that they marketed the ball pit in the trailers, but never incorporated them.

there was a lot of white glitching throughout the movie, but idk if that was part of the movie or just the thing glitching

The animatronics bonding with Abbie was really wholesome, I loved that

William Afton basically admitting that he pays his workers terribly is golden lmfao

kind of weird that Golden Freddy was the one that went to retrieve Abbie, but it was Gabriel’s ghost who was there

really upset I didn’t hear the code/what they were spelling at the end of the credits

the part where the girl got her head chomped off by Golden Freddy, I yelled “WAS THAT THE BITE OF ‘23?!”

Mike Kingston is so cute, and he really likes Hannah and I know she likes him but lowkey am now rooting for Norman oops. Although I wonder if she can love him the way he wants her to love him or the way he should be anywayyyy

I finished all the Predators movies recently and oh my lord I'm in love XD THEY ARE AWESOME?! The first movie I watched was AvP (Thanks to my dear friend for making me discover the Aliens movies) and I LOVEEEEEED IT! I still need to watch Alien 2,3 and Resurrection-

Anyways, those wonderful movies just got themselves a new big fan, ME! I'm very excited to see in the future more movies (Prey 2?)!

I'm currently working on a Yautja oc, pretty happy so far at how it turned out. I also looked through Tumblr for artists and omg you guys draw those sillies so well, WOWWWW!! Y'ALL ARE SO GOOD!!!
