Cuphead

♡| Cuphead is not exactly what Someone would call boyfriend material…at first.

♡| He's brash, arrogant, and quite literally has zero self control.

♡| However, the thing that makes him boyfriend material is that while it might not seem like it, he's actually a really sensitive guy.

♡| Cups likes to hide behind bravado and anger, but underneath, he cares deeply about the people around him. He just…doesn't really know how to express that.

♡| By the time you are dating, he will definitely try to communicate this… kinda.

♡| (You had thought he was mad at you for the longest time, but no. He's just awful at communicating his emotions.)

☆| Nobody knows how he managed to land you as a partner, but Bendy theorizes that there may have been witchcraft involved. (Felix disagrees, but only because he thinks that you know something that everyone else doesn't…which like, he's not wrong??)

♡| When he does announce that y'all are dating, it's at the most random moment possible. No context, no elaboration. Just.

♡| Y'all are dating now. 🤷‍♀️

☆| (Boris nearly had a heart attack when he first said it, because he genuinely did not expect it. However this was not as bad as when Mugs demanded that he was to be Cups' best man at the wedding.)

♡| Very spontaneous. I would expect a lot of last minute dates to places neither of you have been before.

☆| (Bro once took you to a monster truck rally for your anniversary. He said it "seemed cooler than I thought it would be", when you asked him about it)

♡| He is not only one of the most loyal men on the planet, but he's also incredibly attentive! Any attention you want is given to you, and Cups is more than happy to cuddle up with you any time of the day.

♡| Casually (cough cough he's so nervous please help cough cough) proposes during your 4 year anniversary with a genuine diamond ring. Literally cries when you say yes.

♡| Love at first sight? Nah, MARRIAGE at first sight

♡| Oswald does not notice this at all. He considers you his best friend, and he (loves you) cares about you a lot, but c'mon guys! there is NO WAY he can be in love with you! He's already in love with Ortensia, you know,HIS WIFE?

♡| Ortensia would actually be the one to sit him down and talk to him about it, because you and I KNOW that our poor, sweet, dumb bunny boy won't do anything about this.

Rabbit Cater because I have a vision and the world needs to know:

Rabbit Cater with his big floppy ears and his emerald green eyes just staring at you from across the room. His fluffy tail peaking out from his waistband, soft as a cloud.

Rabbit Cater whose toothy grins seem to be directed to you, most of the time. Whenever you enter his sights, there’s always a certain spring in his step as he makes his way towards you. Sometimes, if he’s feeling a little ambitious that day, he might just pull off a twist or two in mid air.

You were watching, right? Right? Right?

Wasn’t he so cool?

Aw, come on, you just know you wanna’ praise ol’ Cay Cay, don’t you?

He’s going to pester you all the way to class until you say he’s cool, so just obige him, won’t you? Of course, if you don’t, he does have a concrete excuse to hang out with you for the entire day… so Cater’s fine either way.

He always seems to find himself slotted right beside you, head on your shoulder. Nuzzling into the crook of your neck as discreetly as he can, the fur of his ears caressing your cheek tenderly. However, sometimes if your attention strays too far from him, expect a light nip or two. He blows into your ear sometimes too, the sudden gust of wind making you yelp in surprise.

Hey, Cater’s right here, Y’know?

Spend some of that attention on him, yeah?

Sometimes when both of you hang out together, Cater’s just flopped on the ground. Stretched out on the floor, a somewhat more… relaxed look on his face. Times like this, he doesn’t feel the pressure to put on the whole “friendly approachable upperclassman Cay Cay” show. It’s just you and him, isn’t it? Even then, he still doesn’t stray too far. He’ll cuddle up next to you, head bumping into you lightly whenever he wants to show you something on his phone.

Times like this are truly precious for him. There’s just something about relaxing next to someone you trust… someone you love, even if both of you aren’t doing much of anything at all.

Cater doesn’t believe in happily ever afters.

But he could spend the rest of his lazy days with you by his side…

He’ll be content for life.

♡|| Emotional constipation might as well be his middle name at this point, because he REFUSED to acknowledge his crush on you after he figured it out. Gus (probably) Definitely needed to snap him out of it with some sort of pep talk, because there is NO WAY he would have confessed otherwise.

☆|| (Now that I think about it, all the fictional men and women I have crushes on are all mega tsunderes/emotionally evasive… I dunno what THAT says about me, but I THINK that I have bad taste in romantic partners)

♡|| When he DOES confess, it’s either going to be a massive affair that ends up being one of the most romantic dates you’ve ever been on™ or completely on accident and out of context.

◇|| After the Thinner disaster, and the loss of Ortensia, Oswald becomes…reclusive, withdrawn. He’s hardly ever out in town anymore, and you rarely see him any more. Try as you might to visit him, he refuses any visitors and stays locked up in his lab all day.

○|| The two of you end up drifting apart for a while.

◇|| When Mickey comes through with the magic paintbrush, Oswald doesn’t trust him. At all. However, since you happened to accompany Mickey through his journey, he decides to tag along too.

◇○|| Depending on the Route that Mickey goes on, Oswald either ends up losing you as well or Regaining your friendship

○|| (Whatever happens in the Paint route is up to interpretation, but in the thinner route Oswald and Mickey get into a pretty serious brawl over the wasteland after your death)

You put the cartridge in the gun, click the safety back on, and set it down on your dresser while you pull your phone out of your purse. You turn off the lights and use the phone flashlight to search for glints of light where there shouldn’t be any, and you find the camera tucked up on top of the books on the highest shelf of the bookcase. You flip the lights back on and pluck the camera down, holding it up in front of your face. “John Price, we are going to talk about this,” you snap. “And you are not going to like what I have to say.” You hope he’s watching as you put the tiny camera down on the dresser and hammer it into electronic dust with a shoe. You hope it sends the intended message. If he thinks you’re just some ditzy little rich girl who doesn’t know who she’s dealing with, he’s dead wrong. And if he doesn’t play his cards right, he’ll just be dead.
