Did you know there was a drawing i did back in september that was originally gonna be this comic? Yeah, yall were spared some sad sleepytimes.
But taking that ... one thing they mentioned once or twice in the show of Lunar just Staring at Sun as he slept. And the fact that this IS still after Eclipse blew Lunar up. Lunar for a good long while was not happy with Eclipse being back understandably.
But for now this was before they just chilled out. I can assure you Eclipse woke up VERY confused. Lunar dipped out real fast. They didn't talk about it.
ALSO FUNFACT AS OF 5 SECONDS AGO.
Bloodmoon was gonna be chillin' but then i realized thats TOO early in the bean timeline. (This taking place before Lunar and Eclipse reconcile.) He comes in later when literally things have Calmed down.
But considering i drew this comic... like in september its totes fine.
There was also a part 2. which. We either get to or not! Idk.

2 of the SEGA Saturn’s most beloved RPGs are returning in a newly remastered format for PS4, PS5, PC, Switch and Xbox One. The Lunar Remastered Collection bundles Lunar: Silver Star Story and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue together, and features the original pixel art but now with upscaled cutscenes and some fancy depth-of-field effects.
One thing baffles me endlessly is how people can extend sympathy to Radahn despite being a warmonger bc of Miquella’s plan, or Messmer and his crusade just bc his mother abandoned him by the end of it. But Ranni killing Godwyn is crossing a line, even if it was to further her plan to free the world from the Greater Will.
I’m just saying certain people love to polarise these really multifaceted characters into good or evil when in actuality, being an immortal demigod is going to give you very different mindsets to the average real life player who has most likely not lived thousands of years.
(And just to clarify, I’m not saying that Radahn and Messmer are also purely evil characters but they too are reduced to their sympathetic aspects and lose their nuance as well.)
These are the official designs for these two horrible people (within this AU, of course)
Lunar
Lunar is considered the first son of Creator. He appeared at the same time as the first star appeared in the dark and cold space. His glow was so pure to Creator that he claimed him as his son. A creation of good.
Lunar, called in this AU "Star" is the god of magic and the protector of all stars in the universe. Like Geminis, Taurus, Nebula and millions of other stars.
Star retains his personality as currently shown in his program, combined with a piece of Castor's personality (LAES)
Star really hates Killcode's children.
Earth
Earth was Creator's second daughter. She was born from the explosion of two planets creating not only the planet Earth, the explosion created Earth.
Earth, Called in this AU "Fauna" the goddess of all life on planet earth. Of all living animals and all living plants. She can also control the weather! But she usually leaves that job to Star and Life (Sun).
Fauna keeps her personality as shown in her show. She's just a little more... Evil.
A problem I find in fiction nowadays is that female main characters don’t seem real.
They’re too perfect, too untouchable.
Even their flaws aren’t really flaws.
They’re insecure, they don’t believe in themselves, but they are perfect in every other way.
The main character will be pretty but she wouldn’t know it. She’s fit a perfect aesthetic that little girls who read the books try to attain and it just wouldn’t work.
They’re badasses because they have a few “witty” one liners, but they’re mean and rude to everyone else. They judge other girls and mean to guys because girls are better than guys obviously (yay girl power).
They’re have a ridiculous amount of trauma but it doesn’t affect their health in anyway.
Writers are often too focused on making badass female characters that they forget to actually write a character.
Their are exceptions to this of course.
Like Lucy Carlyle in Lockwood and Co, despite being written by a man (Jonathan Stroud) she’s probably the most realistic female main character i’ve ever read about.
She gets jealous and petty sometimes, she gets insecure, she’s mean, she makes dumb mistakes, but she LEARNS and she GROWS.
She doesn’t just repeat the same mistakes bcuz there are no consequences to them and the male love interest will back her up no matter what 💅.
And she has friends and crushes and enemies and she’s just…normal. No incredible beauty, and amazing personality. Just a girl who tries her best with what’s been given to her. She’s a hard worker and is very talented (and she knows it, she just doesn’t really understand the reality of it).
Or Eleanor Shellstrop from The Good Place. An arizona trash bag, the worst person you will ever meet, but she tries to change no matter how long it takes her and tries to do good. And you have love her because she’s smart and relatable and even though she’s selfish sometimes she cares about her friends and is willing to do anything for them by the time the series is over, and it’s not like she goes all perfect of a sudden, she still makes mistakes and learns from them. Because the most important thing is to try.
Anne from Anne with an E. You will never get more second-hand embarrassment from a character besides Anne and still love her, because she’s just a teenage girl who has hopes and dreams and a big imagination.
Alex and Red from The Land Of Stories.
Cress from TLC.
Mabel from Gravity Falls.
Inej and Nina from SOC.
And there are so many more, i wish we’d give characters like this more times than characters like SJM heroines 🥲.
~helper fairy to Moon (basically does whatever asked when summoned)
~half the size of the twins
~can be summoned verbally or subconsciously
~he can aid Moon in capturing nightmares. He enters the dreamer's mind and helps make the nightmare weaker, and easier to capture
~his staff holds magical properties (can create a moon-like protective shield)
~he is sassy, and morally grey. He is blunt and brutally honest at times
