I simply must know your least favorite XF episode, and also the most aesthetic ep.

okay the answer to your first question is getting very long so I'll put it under the cut, and as for the second one: I've thought about it and decided that it's Gender Bender. I'm not particularly fond of the episode, I've only ever watched it once, but the Aesthetic there is top notch, thank you mr Rob Bowman

well alright! so as you know I haven't seen *all* of it so I'm 100% sure there are much worse episodes later on, and before too, but En Ami just pissed me off really bad. it's far from the only txf episode to piss me off, but something about it makes my skin crawl. people always praise the x files for not sexualizing Scully, and while it's mostly true, it's not always the case, as for example in En Ami. her wearing that black dress which doesn't leave much for imagination to appease the smoking man (or his mysterious "friend") is not very hashtag #feminism. when the smoking man undresses scully in her sleep (did he drug her? I don't remember but seems probable) and she wakes up in bed wearing pajamas, and even after that she does not leave?? y'know, Dana Scully, MD, who's been violated on multiple occasions before? but no, she trusts him to share the Ultimate Cure For Every Disease with her, or whatever it was, I only watched it once. sure, let's all trust the smoking man, it's always worked so well. and Mulder! doesn't have a key to her apartment! even though it was established early on that they just casually break into each other's places like once a week. and of course the smoker lied, but it's apparently news to Scully, who "saw something in his eyes". fuck OFF! the only thing this episode is good for is comparing it to All Things, where Mulder leans over the sleeping Scully and fixes her hair, like the smoker does in En Ami, but unlike the cancer man, what Mulder does next is he covers her with a blanket and leaves her be. y'know, because he's not a creep. ANYWAY! i just generally have a problem with the episodes where Scully gets violated/is taken advantage of, even when it's played for laughs, like in Small Potatoes. oof! that was good. I never get the chance to properly be a hater, so thank you for this!

All of these were valid questions from you, far too long of pondering and wondering what was even going on between you. Tired and afraid of what these questions would reveal about the relationship, but you had to know. If he meant what he said, wanting to grow old together, loving, and comforting each other in these times of self-doubt.

Wilson didn’t miss a beat to respond, “Of course I’m ready to be with you!” It revealed almost as a shout, angry, confused and yet truthful all at the same time. He loves you, was that answer not enough?

“Then be with me, James!” you yelled in the same fashion, frustrated, concerned, the tension had been building and it burst in Wilson’s office. You were simply talking about a patient, but everything crumbled so quickly, it felt suffocating. You wanted to sit down, cry, beg him to give you an answer with absolute certainty. Yet you haven’t heard it, not in his voice nor in his actions.

“I… I can’t- I-'' Wilson responds, stuttering, nervous and tripping over his words profusely because he had no idea how to handle the situation. In his other relationships he often moved too quickly and now he was afraid to do the same with you and yet you kept teetering at wanting to move on. To be together. Wilson was afraid of what that might mean, how it could be too hurried.

“What do I mean to you?” You could only repeat yourself, maybe then you would get an answer. Your voice was stern, dripping with desperation, begging that something could be done or said that would simply fix all of these issues you’ve been having.

“You mean everything to me… I’m just-” He went forward to grab your hands, but the surge of confidence left him and he softened his grip on you. Looking at you as if somehow his eyes could tell you the answer, but you’ve already tried that.

“It sure as hell doesn’t look like it,” this time you were angry, your expression grim and dark at the thought of how much he had been avoiding you. Staying at the hospital for days, going to House instead of you to fix the root of the problem. Oh hell it made you angry, you restrained yourself as best as you could, but Wilson noticed it easily. He knew how upset you were, and rightfully so. “You were the one who didn’t come home, didn’t call, I had to beg for answers from House. You’re treating me just like your ex-wives.” The words flew out before you could think, it made you feel guilty but at the same time you could never hide what you were truly thinking. The silence was clear and he looked at you, painfully, and you couldn’t help but stay silent at your own words.

“Take that back… take it back.” Wilson rushes up to you once more, tears welling up in his eyes. He was obviously hurt, tormented by what you thought was so true. And all you did was look at him, his hands at your sides begging.

“I can’t take back what’s true.” You were a cold-hearted bitch, you admitted to yourself in the moment but if he was going to treat you like a divorcee then he might as well know it. You tried not to let the tears fall, successful at first but as soon as his grip softened. He gave up and it felt like the battle of this relationship had been lost so easily, as if no one was trying to reach out again. His head was towards the ground, the tips of your fingers about to touch his head, but when the tears rolled down your face there was nothing else to do.

Wilson had lost, and had not fought hard enough. He did treat you like his ex-wives, he made the same mistakes all over again and yet he couldn’t look up. To look you in the eyes, with all your ache and disappointment just like all his other relationships. You were gone by the time he spoke, soft, broken, his voice cracking…

There's very few I dislike, but I am a very big fan of every shade of green ever and mustard yellow.

5. Weirdest habit/trait?

I have to take about 5 whole seconds to trawl my brain for what normal Americans call hot loppins (potholders) and luchies (binkies). For some reason these two words that were passed down through the family from either my Danish or German great-grandmother are much stronger than their modern American English equivalents.

6. Hobbies?

Reading (mostly nonfiction), writing (mostly fanfiction), researching (mostly incense and Buddhism), language learning (Chinese these days), watching Asian movies and TV, voiding warranties (mostly appliances), home repair/improvement, cooking/baking.

7. If you work, what's your profession?

Kinda? I don't really get paid for it but I am the bookkeeper for our small business. I also don't get paid to make flyers and album art for my husband's band. (I do enjoy it a lot more than the bookkeeping, though!) My husband calls me The War Department (meaning that he has to clear all expenditures with me) and I call myself the building and grounds guy (gender neutral). Most importantly, I am a slave to the whims of our two dogs and one cat.

8. If you could have any job?

Since I was a little kid I have wanted to buy and save condemned houses. I would also get a real kick out of being a one-person litter crew out on our beautiful and dangerous country roads. I love the stuff other people throw away, I guess.

I'm funny?

When someone can't respect a boundary I've set. I am a human doormat so it only happens once in a blue moon but if I say "this is a hard no, please respect that" and someone tramples that we're done right then and there.

Yeah I can forget almost anything, lol. Especially when asked a direct question about it!

12. Your love language?

Ok, I've listened to the podcast, I know the guy who came up with these things was a flaming turd but I'll be DAMNED if acts of service aren't 100% my love language. Can I cook for you? (I love you.) Can I fix that for you? (I love you.) Can I drive you there? (I love you.)

13. Favorite movies and TV shows?

Movies: Cold Comfort Farm, The Merciless, Crimson Peak, Rebecca (1940), Exhuma, P&P 2005, The Secret Garden (1993), and so many more. Man, I would be lost without Letterboxd.

I like so many animals, man. But my stock answer is opossum (the American kind) because we have a lot in common.

What I would now consider my own worst nightmare: no filter, no off button, no chill, no volume control, and OBSESSED with always being the center of attention no matter what it took.

17. Favorite subject in school?

English pretty much always. I takes a pretty bad teacher to dampen my love of the written word. Similarly, I had some fantastic art teachers and some I wanted to push into the kiln, but I loved learning about art nonetheless.

18. Least favorite subject?

Math is close to torture for me. I have dyscalculia. There really isn't any learning method that can bring me lasting knowledge of numbers. I can't divide or multiply on paper and I really struggle to add and subtract -- but I understand formulas. Give me Excel and I can calculate ANYTHING because it's logic-based. I am a freak in the spreadsheets.

19. Best trait?

I'm helpful? I think? Yeesh, I dunno. I guess it depends on whether you mean what I consider to be my best trait and what others consider to be my best trait.

20. Worst trait?

I have been struggling for years against innate sarcasm and passive-aggression. I'm making real headway, but man, the tiniest inconvenience or perceived slight makes me backslide so hard into being just an annoying little fuckhead.

21. If you could change any detail of your life, what would it be?

Look, we love being self-employed, we really really do, but JESUS CHRIST I would LOVE for the money to be regular. It doesn't even have to be more! Just regular! I can't make plans! I never know when we will have the money for bills, let alone fun!

22. If you could travel in time, who would you want to meet?

I want to go back in time and tell myself not to take the job at [redacted] that quite literally ruined my life. I quit 15 years ago this June and I had two nightmares about my old boss just this week AND IT'S TUESDAY.

I know it'd be weird to come to your centric blog and ask but may I for what regressions in this context even are? I saw a Ventus and Vanitas regression headcanon post but I didn't really understand it - I only really noticed the brothers like relationship and so still enjoyed reading but ultimately was quite confused. I was thinking maybe like how people regress in age mentally when faced with certain situations but was more confused with that scenario since the poat was talking about changing physical size (and the regressing mentally to the age of a toddler or baby -while not unheard of- was still slightly farfetched to me). If you ever have to time, could you tell me what the 'age regressions' mean in that specific KH context? Many thanks would you to indulge me. :)

When people age regress, it's a mental thing. It can seem a bit farfetched, even I'm not fully convince someone 100% reverts back for a small period of time, but it is a mental thing where something thinks and acts like a young child.

Now, whether you fully revert to a young child completely depends on the person. I've personally never experienced it, I've experienced age dreaming, which is more what my post are based off.

Age dreaming is just like age regression, but you don't fully revert to a young child. You may do childish or kid things, but you can still do adult things or can think like an adult.

They do not turn younger or anything like that, so it's not a physical thing (I also thought it was physical when I I first learnt of it, don't worry)

Also, I wasn't sure if you were concerned of it or not but I'm going to bring it up anyhow, almost all my post are 100% platonic. Unless it specifically states they're dating or it's tagged with a ship name. And they're obviously not shipped if they're siblings, step, half, or whatever kind of family. Also, is there is a ship in it, they aren't dating while one is regressed. One might become a CG role, but most times littles don't have/do romantic things while in their headspace.

But yeah, for the most part age regression is a coping mechanism where someone thinks and acts like a child. Sometimes people fully rever to the headspace, others can still do adult things and not fully revert but just act and think like a child.

Age Regression is a coping mechanism btw!! Often used for past traumas, or stress, or sometimes just for fun! Most activities include watching childrens cartoons, cutting the crust off sandwiches, crying into a stuffie (not all the time is Age regression happy, as seen through Vanitas's posts), and similar activities like that.

Be wary about Age Play!!! That is not a coping mechanism, that is a kink where someone acts like a child during intercourse!!! It is weird and gross!!! Some of it's tags are DD/LG or MD/LB, please be safe out there and avoid these!!

Age Regression DOES NOT EQUAL Age Play

In the contexts on Kingdom Hearts, we'll use the Wayfinder Trio + Vanitas, let's say that Vanitas regresses. Aqua, Terra, and Ventus could all babysit (watch/hang out) him. Or they can be his CG (wich is like babysitting but most times with a title)

Titles for CGs are mostly things like Dada, Mama, things like that. But Bubba or shorten names (like Ven or Vani for Ventus and Vanitas) are also CG names!!

Now let's grab Terra and Aqua! Let's say theyre dating, and Terra regresses sometimes. During the time Terra's small, Aqua and him wouldn't nessecairly be dating, or more not do any romantic acts. Aqua could be his CG, or Ventus could be his CG, or even Master Eraqus could be his CG! It doesn't only have to be your partner, it can be your brother or best friend!

WD N/V to MD N/V is like Nori/Yeva to Doll/Uzi.

Ahi. This is gonna hurt a lot.

So, let's start by saying that you are right.

Now, I don't think the comparison is as direct and precise as other comparisons like, N X Uzi and V x Doll. Plus, I'm not 100% sure Liam intended for us to make this comparison in the first place; don't get me wrong, the guy has great attention for details, but some of his writing decisions regarding the characters that are not Uzi, N, or Cyn, leaves me to question whether he thought this deeply about these possible connections between characters and their relationships.

The main problem with episode 5 is that Liam decided to focus on Uzi and N when the episode would have greatly benefitted from having N and V as our P.O.V. characters. I get that he didn't want Tessa as the main character because he was just going to reveal her dead a few episodes later, and still needed to do some extra work on Nuzi to make Uzi's sacrifice hit harder, but that's why we needed more time and episodes (please stop with the 8 episodes season format I hate it) to build up to this season finale; regardless of budget, he should have known that the plot should be in service of the characters and not viceversa.

But back to your question: to answer it, I'll better start talking about my personal relationship with N x V. You see, the first time I watched Murder Drones, right after the pilot, I've written off N's crush for V from the story, especially since I didn't like the way N info dumped us on his affection.

A couple of episodes of Murder Drones had already been released at that point, so I just assumed after the Pilot, the whole thing was retcon since N didn't really bring up his crush after that episode and V didn't seem to have feelings for N aside from a desire to protect him. (Of course, that's only at first glance; I said it once and I'll say it again, to do an analysis on one of the Murder Drones characters you need to be specialised on that character).

Naturally, as I rewatched the episodes and interacted more with the community, I gained a better understanding of Envy as platonic and romantic.

Onto your point; the thing is that fundamentally Worker Drone N and Worker Drone V are the same character as Disassembly Drone N and Disassembly Drone V, while Nori and Yeva are completely different characters from Uzi and Doll; so in the first case, we're talking about a relationship between two characters that changed over time and trauma, while in the second case, it's a relationship between two characters that we don't know enough about and their children.

And this is the main problem discussing Nori x Yeva: we do not know enough about them. Like, on the surface, from the way Yeva extended her hand to Nori in the flashbacks of episode 7, we can draw parallels between that and butler N reading maiden V facts about golden retrievers; then we can assume Nori and Yeva had a fallout similar to N and V, which is so far the only way we can explain Yeva never trying to forge a relationship between Uzi and Doll (which, if we're being honest, would have saved the both of them and the show. I guess, much like her daughter, Yeva couldn't girlboss forever), but after that, the rest of their story is still murky; I honestly think there's gonna be a plot twist regarding Yeva, because, otherwise, I cannot see the reason why we've got that backstory in episode 7; I guess Nori just wanted to let N (and the audience) know how things went down, but there had to be a quicker/better way to do that, Liam rarely puts in a scene that he deems unnecessary.

Lastly, Uzi and Doll didn't get the chance to recover that they should have had, but if they did, I can only imagine that their dynamic would have been much healthier than the current N x V dynamic. As I stated in my V and Doll; trauma, mental disorder and low empathy post, Doll actually tried to connect with people throughout the events of the series in her sociopathic not neurotypical kind of way, it's just that she was extremely cloudy in her decision making; so, if Uzi and Doll got a chance to connect in one of events of the show, they would have rekindled their nonexistent spark much quicker than V and N, since, out of the two, I unironically think that Uzi is the one with the bigger walls surrounding her.

I have an on/off relationship with Doll's death and her possible resurrection. At times, I really believe that this is the ending for her; but if she were to survive in any way, for sure she would get that dreaded redemption arc and go to Uzi's side, the trauma from Cyn Tessa should have been enough for her to decide to join the main gang without any second thoughts.

acd holmes shower thoughts

revisiting the hbomberguy sherlock video BC I have been steeped in ACD reading again haha, just picking apart his point Abt sherlock being ultimately a whodunnit

I think the obstacle faced when modernizing sherlock Holmes is how do you translate the problems of Victorian era to the modern era? Once u take the answer to this question seriously maybe we could have gotten competent mysteries, not "wow smartphone" or "wow look at their internet history". ACD, while ofc have outdated depictions of races/women, it still tries to brush on things and is fairly progressive for its time (like the yellow face w race and interracial marriage, scandal in Bohemia w viewing women as intellectual equals). Ofc ur there reading holmes ultimately for the mystery but there's always a human issue at the root of every case. I think early house md balances the humanity and the whodunnit really well and is enjoyable too in the level that house isn't 100% a sherlock Holmes character and an actualized character in his own right that the creator seems confident of making his own. Even then the early seasons have some great lessons (great for early 2000s times lol) where the disease is a backdrop for the personal issues they deal with. Its modern and medical so they hit two birds with one stone in the "Sherlock Holmes essence" formula.

NASA successfully integrates Roman mission's telescope, instruments

NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope team has successfully integrated the mission's telescope and two instruments onto the instrument carrier, marking the completion of the Roman payload. Now the team at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, will begin joining the payload to the spacecraft.

"We're in the middle of an exciting stage of mission preparation," said Jody Dawson, a Roman systems engineer at NASA Goddard. "All the components are now here at Goddard, and they're coming together in quick succession. We expect to integrate the telescope and instruments with the spacecraft before the year is up."

Engineers first integrated the Coronagraph Instrument, a technology demonstration designed to image exoplanets—worlds outside our solar system—by using a complex suite of masks and active mirrors to obscure the glare of the planets' host stars.

Then the team integrated the Optical Telescope Assembly, which includes a 7.9-foot (2.4-meter) primary mirror, nine additional mirrors, and their supporting structures and electronics. The telescope will focus cosmic light and send it to Roman's instruments, revealing billions of objects strewn throughout space and time. Roman will be the most stable large telescope ever built, at least 10 times more so than NASA's James Webb Space Telescope and 100 times more than the agency's Hubble Space Telescope. This will allow scientists to make measurements at levels of precision that can answer important questions about dark energy, dark matter, and worlds beyond our solar system.

With those components in place, the team then added Roman's primary instrument. Called the Wide Field Instrument, this 300-megapixel infrared camera will give Roman a deep, panoramic view of the universe. Through the Wide Field Instrument's surveys, scientists will be able to explore distant exoplanets, stars, galaxies, black holes, dark energy, dark matter, and more. Thanks to this instrument and the observatory's efficiency, Roman will be able to image large areas of the sky 1,000 times faster than Hubble with the same sharp, sensitive image quality.

"It would be quicker to list the astronomy topics Roman won't be able to address than those it will," said Julie McEnery, the Roman senior project scientist at NASA Goddard. "We've never had a tool like this before. Roman will revolutionize the way we do astronomy."

The telescope and instruments were mounted to Roman's instrument carrier and precisely aligned in the largest clean room at Goddard, where the observatory is being assembled. Now, the whole assembly is being attached to the Roman spacecraft, which will deliver the observatory to its orbit and enable it to function once there.

At the same time, the mission's deployable aperture cover—a visor that will shield the telescope from unwanted light—is being joined to the outer barrel assembly, which serves as the telescope's exoskeleton.

"We've had an incredible year, and we're looking forward to another one!" said Bear Witherspoon, a Roman systems engineer at NASA Goddard. "While the payload and spacecraft undergo a smattering of testing together, the team will work toward integrating the solar panels onto the outer barrel assembly."

That keeps the observatory on track for completion by fall 2026 and launch no later than May 2027.

Today I have time to read your post about shadbala and apply it in my chart, not sure if I pick it right but here I go.

So in the first chart (shadbala in virutas) the three dominant planets are mars with nearly 520, followed by mercury with 490 and Jupiter with ~430. In Sthaana Bala Jupiter is the highest one with almost 240, followed by mars with 200 and Venus with 190. In Naisargika chart sun is the highest with 60, followed by moon with 52 and lastly Venus with 43.

So based on your post Jupiter would need a remedy because in sthaana chart is the highest one, and in my chart does aspect 8, 10 and 12 house and is also a malefic planet. (And is sitting in my 4h with Venus in there, so I assume that Jupiter is weakening my Venus)

Now I do have Saturn in Capricorn so do I need a remedy for Saturn too (as far as I could understand the badhak is not a good thing?? 😂)

Moon in Naisargika is the second highest and moon (for me) is a malefic planet and thanks goddess it only aspect my 12 house (teaming up with Jupiter yey 😀)

So in short does those three planets would need a remedy, right?

And now my biggest question, does mars plays a role here? Like yes, is the highest one in “shadbala in virupas” chart but does it need a remedy? Is a malefic planet, a benefic planet or mars just decided to leave the chart for Taurus asc 😂😂😂😂

dominance from shadbala is calculated it percentages. like take 520 divide it by 300 multiply with 100 and you get how strong exactly is mars. also, its mentioned in the chart, mars is a functional malefic.

mars has priority for being remedied because it is a maraka and also extremely strong. jupiter comes second. yes, saturn's remedies are important, as well. however i'll add this here, saturn being a benefic and also a badhak makes it behave according to the md or ad sadesati or a saturn md will fall in. like say you undergo your sadesati while under venus md, so check if venus and saturn are neutral or friends for your chart. if they are, you know sadesati will be easier for you. if they are enemies, then it will be harsh.

depending on this, you can decide whether or not you wish to prioritise saturn. moon will only demand behavioural changes, so dw either.

[sigh] let me say this instead. with longfic, there's usually a moment or a scene that you want to get to, the whole fic is culminating to that scene so you write thousands upon thousands of words to get to where the that scene would make sense in context, yes? well. for Me . . . i just write The Scene™

funnily enough i created a series which is just fav fics that i've written which sounds so egotistical, but whatever. there are 13 works in there, i believe, and most of them are merlin lol. but in recent memory it has to be a tie between JUDAS KISS and THREAD OF GOLD (both arwen fic !!!) because i experimented with my writing sooooo much there, JUDAS KISS being first person and THREAD OF GOLD being second person. i typically write a close third person pov especially for fic. my prose is wired for that, but it was so fun to try to do that for first and second anddddd i got some banger lines out of it so a win's a win!

2023 FALL TOUR

WF UPDATE (10/6/23).

Tonight, I’m broadcasting to you from a funky little town called Hancock, MD.

We’re in the middle of our 2023 Fall Tour. I’m calling it the “Special Assignment & Biking Tour.” We’ve completed Special Assignments #1, #2, and #3. Special Assignment # 4 doesn’t start until October 19th. Until then, we’re doing the “biking” phase of the tour. We hit Hancock on October 3rd.

Hancock, with a population of 1,500 or so, sits along the extreme western edge of Maryland. How extreme? Very. In this area, the border of West Virginia almost touches Pennsylvania. Between those two states, there’s a little strip of Maryland that’s only 1.8 miles wide. That’s Hancock.

We’re here to do some biking on the C & O Canal Trail. It runs, along the Potomac River, for 185 miles from Cumberland, MD to Washington D.C. Today was our third ride on the C & O.

The trail has an interesting history. Once upon a time, there was a plan to dig a canal to connect Washington D.C. to the Ohio River. To deal with the elevation change of almost 700 feet, the project called for 74 canal “locks” and a 3,100 foot tunnel through a mountain. The primary purpose was to ship coal from the Allegheny Mountains. The work began in 1828. Digging stopped in 1850, even though the 185 mile canal had only reached Cumberland, MD. The goal of reaching the Ohio River was abandoned.

Why did the work stop? I can answer that question with one word: trains. The rise of the railroads made canals obsolete.

Despite the rise of the railroads, the canal operated until 1924. The canal boats were pulled by teams of mules that walked along a “towpath” that ran adjacent to the canal. At this point, let’s jump ahead 100 years and focus on 2023. The towpath is now a bike path. That’s the path that we’ve been biking.

The path isn’t paved. It’s mostly crushed stone or packed dirt. We were worried that the surface would be tough to bike. It isn’t. We’ve been pleasantly surprised.

So far, over three rides, we’ve covered about 35 miles of the trail By car, we take the bikes to a parking area near the trail. We ride out for about 12 miles, and then we turn around a ride back to the car. So, even thought our round trip is 24 miles, we’re only seeing 12 miles of trail each day. Our actual total mileage so far is about 75 miles.

The trail is beautiful. It’s totally flat. Most of the time, we have a view of the Potomac River. We’ve generally been in isolated woodlands. The entire setting is very rural. We’ve only seen a handful of other bikers. The weather has been wonderful.

On two of the days, we biked with some wayward bikers from Pennsylvania. Like us, they have a connection to South Carolina. I guess it’s a small world. I’m a bit suspicious about the pair. If we go missing, please tell the FBI to investigate two very fast cyclists from Chambersburg, PA. Of course, their whole story is probably fabricated.

Hancock is a good base of operations. It sits right next to the trail. One day, our car ride to the nearest parking area was less than a mile. We drove because our rental house is on a big hill that’s very long. Who wants to bike up a big hill at the end of a fun day?

Let me close by telling you about our rental house. When we pulled up the street, we both thought that we were in trouble. The street itself is about the width of a single car. I don’t know what happens if two cars need to pass each other. The street is a “dead end” that’s about a half-mile long. A handful of shacks are scattered alongside the street. For the most part, the shacks don’t look habitable. Most of them are vacant. Our rental is the last house. It sits at the “dead end.” The exterior is very, very rough. We were tempted to drive away without stopping. Mrs Travelarranger assured me the the interior pictures that she saw online were fine. We were brave and took a look inside. The interior is totally fine. It has three big bedrooms, two baths, a big kitchen, a nice dining area, and the big living room. The furniture is nice. The appliances are new. It’s not the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons, but it’s totally adequate. We’re enjoying our stay. We lead a simple life. We’ve seen a few bikers who are sleeping in tents.

This trail is so nice that I’m contemplating a future trip to do the whole 185 mile run from Cumberland to DC. That will take some planning. It looks like the accommodation situation could be a slight challenge. We haven’t seen many buildings near the trail. I’ll figure it out.

You’re probably enjoy the fact that I’m not blabbing about Trump, or McCarthy, or the economy, or the stock market, or the Pope, or some obscure aspect of pop culture. I tend to ignore serious topics when we’re off having fun. Feel free to enjoy the break from the normal fare.
