In the lush wilderness of Madeira, Harry and Draco reunite.
“I’ve missed you,” he says again, kissing Draco’s ear, wrapping his arms around him in a fierce hug. “Like you wouldn’t even believe.” “I believe it,” Draco says. “I’ve had far too many lonely, clinical wanks in this shower.” Harry laughs against Draco’s wet, soap-sweet skin and lets his hands fall to his waist. He steals another soft kiss. “Want me to help with that? Reviews say I’m not very clinical at all. I’m positively… extravagant.” Draco bends his head forward again and nips Harry’s lip, then soothes it with a slow swipe of his tongue. “A giver of deluxe wanks.”

Top 5 gorgeous Portuguese islands to visit
Portugal is a fascinating nation with a rich history, a varied culture and stunning scenery that is situated on the Iberian Peninsula in southwest Europe. Although Portugal's mainland is renowned for its idyllic landscapes, golden beaches and quaint cities the nation's real hidden treasures are found in its Atlantic archipelagos. Travelers may experience a distinctive fusion of vibrant local culture and breath-taking natural beauty in the Azores and Madeira two magnificent groups of islands within Portugal. These islands are well-known for their verdant foliage, striking coastlines and serene settings, making them ideal travel destinations for anybody looking to get away from it all. They are positioned ideally along western routes to the Strait of Gibraltar.
The Portuguese islands hold the spirit of Portugal's long-standing nautical heritage and customs in addition to their beautiful landscapes. Every island has something different to offer whether you're climbing through volcanic craters in the Azores, discovering the colorful botanical gardens of Madeira or just relaxing in the tranquil island atmosphere. Getting a Portugal visa is a simple process for anyone who intends to travel there enabling them to explore these stunning islands and appreciate their unmatched beauty. We'll walk you through the top five Portuguese islands that ought to be on your itinerary in this blog.
Here are the Top 5 gorgeous Portuguese islands to visit
1. Island of São Miguel:
The largest island in the Azores chain São Miguel is a paradise for those who enjoy the outdoors and seeking adventure. São Miguel, sometimes referred to as the "Green Island," is distinguished by its verdant vistas, crater-filled calderas and a profusion of mineral-rich hot springs. These hot springs are the ideal places to unwind after a day of discovering the island's natural treasures because they are frequently encircled by lush flora and situated in serene settings. From the hot geothermal fields of Furnas to the striking Sete Cidades Caldera, a large volcanic crater now filled with vivid blue and green lakes the island's volcanic roots are visible everywhere. Hiking around these calderas allows hikers to take in the breath-taking scenery and experience the geology of this unique island.
2. Terceira:
Known as the entry point to the Azores Terceira Island combines breath-taking natural scenery with an extensive historical background. Angra do Heroísmo, the capital of Terceira is a charming medieval city and a volcanic island that is part of the central group of the Azores archipelago. This UNESCO World Heritage Site city, with its well-preserved 16th-century architecture, cobblestone lanes and breath-taking bay views is a tribute to Terceira's historical significance. Angra Bay is a melting pot of cultures and a center for regional trade because it has long been an important transcontinental ship port. Today tourists from all over the world come to see the city's historic landmarks which include the São João Baptista Castle and its spectacular walls.
3. The Madeira Islands:
Known as the "Pearl of the Atlantic," Madeira is one of the most stunning and biologically varied islands in Portugal. Madeira a Portuguese island off the northwest coast of Africa is well-known for its beautiful scenery, abundant vegetation, and temperate climate. Numerous plant species some of which are unique to the island can be discovered there thanks to its breath-taking natural botanical garden which is formed by the topography of the island's high peaks and deep valleys. The Laurisilva forest of Madeira is a good spot for nature walks and bird viewing. It is a remnant of the ancient forests that formerly covered most of Southern Europe and is currently recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
4. Flowers:
The westernmost island of the Azores Flores is frequently referred to as a nature lover's paradise. As the name Flores (Portuguese for "flowers") implies, the island is blanketed in colorful flowers that bloom profusely all year long. Due to its exceptional natural beauty the island has been designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, honoring its unspoiled ecosystem and rich biodiversity. Flores has some of the most beautiful scenery in the Azores thanks to its scattered volcanic craters that have organically evolved into tranquil lakes. Hiking is ideal on the island because of its verdant mountains and lush valleys, which provide amazing views around every corner.
5. Pico:
Pico Island, one of the most remarkable islands in the Azores archipelago is named after Ponta do Pico a tall volcanic mountain. The tallest peak in Portugal, Ponta do Pico, dominates the island's landscape and is reachable by hiking for daring visitors. One of the most memorable hikes in the Azores is the strenuous ascent, which rewards hikers with expansive views of the island and the surrounding Atlantic Ocean. Pico's distinctive vineyards set amidst fields of black lava stone bear witness to the region's volcanic beginnings. The island's well-known Pico wine prized for its unique flavor and excellence, is made from these vineyards which are included as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Conclusion:
Discovering the Portuguese islands entails traveling through some of Europe's most stunning and varied landscapes. Every island offers a different combination of natural beauty and cultural richness ranging from the volcanic glories of São Miguel to the lush botanical gardens of Madeira. Activity (2/2)
Madeira
As the trip lasted around 10 days I decided to count it as an Activity post once more for this month. After spending time round the capital city of Funchal we decided to wonder more to visit natural wonders. We saw mountainous terrains, talked with local people about life, and returned to the capital to ride on the famous cable car to admire beautiful views of the capital. For the next day, I and my dad decided to challenge ourselves and hike the Pico the Ruvio peak. A 5 hour physically exhausting trip to the top ended with breathtaking views of the landscape. The next day we visited the Seixal forest also a very popular tourist destination. Throughout our journey, we also visited many natural canals on the island and gained some knowledge on this topic. After 10 days we finally had to depart for Poland and frankly speaking it was an amazing, active journey; hopefully, I will be back there at least once in my lifetime.
