Chapter One - Last Copy

Hyunjin x Fem!Reader

Genre: Fluff, the kind that makes you blush a little.

Word Count: 1,433

A/N: Hyunjin's airport outfit got me thinking so I just wrote this cute little thing real quick! I'm thinking about making it another mini series so let me know if you want a part two! I'm putting way too much on my plate but I can't help it 😭

Summary: You meet a cute stranger at your favorite bookstore cafe.

Part Two

You browsed the shelves for your favorite poet's new release. You were determined to buy it in both paperback and hardcover before it went flying off the shelves. You skim the spines of the many books searching for the poet’s name when you finally come across it. A wide smile paints your face as you reach for the final hardcover copy, that smile quickly drops when your hand collides with one of a stranger next to you. You must've been so focused that you hadn't noticed him. 

"Pardon me." He apologizes softly, slightly bowing his head towards you. 

"No no, it's alright. I should've been paying attention." The two of you stand there glancing between each other and the book for a second too long before he breaks the silence. 

"You reached for it three seconds before me so you should have it." The tall man grins down at you as he picks up the book and holds it out to you. "I can always get it online. "

"Oh no, it's fine! I can just buy the paperback." You give him a kind grin and his lips pull into a thin line. 

"Well then you really should take this then because I just picked up the last paperback." A quiet chuckle leaves his lips as he holds it up momentarily for you to see. You can't help but smile and giggle a bit as you push a strand of hair behind your ear. 

"Ah, okay, well in that case how could I turn down a hard cover of my favorite poet?" You take the book from him and start to study it immediately. You sigh happily as you run your fingers over the cover, taking in every detail. "I love their book design. Every single one is so unique and fresh, it really reflects their work perfectly." 

"I agree, I think that the use of abstract art on the cover is a beautiful touch." You smile up at him again and this time you take a moment to study his features. His jet black hair is in a half up half down style and his circle lens glasses compliment his shining eyes perfectly. Not to mention his pink lips and structured jaw which are the icing on a very handsome cake. You take in his black sweater and matching black pants, his style is very attractive and from the looks of his Versace necklace very expensive. 

"I think so too, it's one of the things that drew me to them." He grins down at you and shakes his head slightly. He tilts his head to the side a bit before letting the tip of his tongue dip out of his mouth and skate across his bottom lip. You notice his eyes wandering over your frame and for some reason the action is welcomed by you. You don't feel uncomfortable in the slightest. He catches himself staring and suddenly holds his hand out to you. 

"I'm Hyunjin by the way." You blush slightly as you grin up at him.

"Y/n" He smiles at your name and you can't help but to look down at your feet for a second. Your hands stay together in a handshake for a few seconds too long before you let go. 

"Well, Y/n, uh I was actually about to sit at the Cafe up front and get started on this book... Would you maybe want to sit with me? We can share our thoughts on it. That is if you aren't busy or anything." He pulls his lips into a thin line and the tips of his ears turn a bit red as his nerves start to get to him. You smile blushing a bit yourself. 

"I um.. I actually think that I'd like that a lot." He smiles as he pushes up his glasses and looks away towards the bookshelf for a second, most likely to stop himself from smiling like an idiot, not like it matters though, at this point the blush covering both of your cheeks is a dead give away to your excitement. 

"Great, after you." You shake your head and turn on your heels leading the way over to the Cafe where the two of you stare at the menu. "I don't know why I'm even looking, I get the same thing every time." 

You chuckle as your eyes land on exactly what you'd like. "What's that?" 

"An iced americano and a white cream latte." You furrow your brows towards him curiously. 

"Two coffees?" He blushes a bit, bringing his hand to the back of his neck and scratching softly 

"I may have a caffeine problem." He chuckles a bit and you follow suit. "What would you like? It's on me."

"Oh no, you don't have to."

"I insist." He smiles down at you with bright and excited eyes and you feel yourself melt a bit. 

"I suppose I can't turn down free refreshments" You step forward towards the cashier and start your order, once you're done Hyunjin adds his items and he reaches into his pocket to pull out his Versace wallet. Who exactly is this guy? He has very expensive taste. You watch as he skims the many cards in his wallet and your face heats up a bit when he pulls out a black card. Okay, no really who is this guy? 

"Wanna find us a table?" He asks as he stuffs his wallet back into his pocket. You nod in agreement and quickly retreat to your favorite table in the back corner of the cafe. You get comfortable, crossing your legs indian style and leaning back against the plush booth. You take your phone out of your purse to briefly check your messages but before you could reply to anyone Hyunjin approaches with a tray full of refreshments. 

"Here we go." He sits across from you, serving you your items from the tray. 

"Thank you very much." You smile as you take your mug and bring it up to your lips briefly, taking a sip. You smile to yourself as you let the warmth of your drink surge through you. 

"So, Y/n, do you come here often?" Hyunjin asks as he sips his Americano and you can't help but to chuckle

"Really? You used that line?" He grins slightly but it quickly turns into a smile and a quiet embarrassed laugh as his fingers caress the skin of his neck. 

"I'm sorry, I guess I’m a little rusty. I honestly don't talk to alluring women such as yourself often..I'm usually quite reserved? Kind of the shy type socially.”

You smile and you can feel a blush creeping up on your cheeks. " I could say the same.. I don't talk to alluring men very often. I only read about them."

Hyunjin smiles, his fingers interlacing as he brings them up towards his face and leans in towards you. "Call me crazy but I have a feeling that you'll be more interesting than any book I've ever read."

Okay, you're definitely blushing now. "Yeah? I think I could say the same about you." 

Hyunjin looks down at his lap with a wide smile, He licks his lips before grabbing his coffee and takes a long sip before looking back up at you with flushed cheeks. 

"So, do you come here often? Because if you do I will too." You tilt your head to the side slightly with a curious eyebrow raised. 

"Is that right?"

"I wouldn't lie to you." He mimics your curious demeanor. 

"I come here at least once a week." He shakes his head as he picks up his drink.

"Looks like I need to change my schedule." You smile as you take a piece of the cinnamon roll that you ordered with your tea. 

"Looks like you do." You both hold a smile as your eyes search each other's.

"So... this book, how about I read it to you?" 

"You want to read me poetry?" He nods confidently as he reaches for your copy of the book. "You just want to touch the hardcover."

"That is true, you caught me" a playful smile pulls at his lips and you smile back, crossing your arms as you lean forward and rest your elbows on the table. 

"Hm, fine but if you damage it you owe me a new copy."

"Deal." He smiles as he opens the book and you watch as his long slim fingers flip through the pages. "Alright, ready?"

You pick up your mug and take a sip before grinning and smiling towards him. 

"Ready"

He then sees the drawings that consist of different people, scenery, doodles, and then of him and little notes about him like “literal sunshine”, “kissable beauty mark” “weak in the knees with this face”

Vash x Reader

Glancing up every once in a while, you admired the scenery in front of you making to observing every detail as you quickly sketch it out in your notebook. 

Smiling softly at Vash who sits across from you, he’s not paying attention watching a crowd of people instead. It was his idea to sneak away to this little outdoor cafe, and you greatly appreciated the gesture. It gave you time to just sit down and draw. 

And who were you to blame, if you happened to catch sight of Vash’s handsome face and want to sketch it as well? Was it a crime, you nearly drop your pencil when Vash suddenly turns to you with those sweet eyes. 

Trying to be nonchalant about what you were doing, you meet his gaze with a raised brow. “What?” You ask softly, he blinks and blushes maybe he didn’t know he had been staring at you as well. “Nothing, what are you drawing?” He answers quickly. 

It’s your turn to blush, as you quickly close the sketchbook. God, you’d die of embarrassment if he saw the sketches you’ve done of him. It’s not your fault, his face is so pretty that you need to capture his expressions! “Oh, just the landscape.” You say with a wave of your hand and a shy smile. 

You flip to the page you were sketching, checking it over to make sure it’s safe, and flip to show Vash. You smile as his eyes light up, looking over the drawing. You are a little nervous as he takes it all in, you're just hoping he doesn’t flip the page. Vash doesn’t and hands the notebook back to you. 

“Amazing!” Your heart warms at the compliment because coming from Vash you know it’s genuine. You smile, placing the sketchbook back in your bag, and you thank him. Vash places some double dollars on the table and helps you out of your chair. Shouldering your bag, the two of you walk out of the cafe side by side. Everyone was supposed to meet in the center of the market, you let Vash lead you there without complaint. 

You are shoved to the side harshly, letting out a startled yelp you managed to catch yourself with an annoyed huff. Vash turns to you concerned; you shrug going to adjust your bag when to your horror it's gone. Eyes widening, you frantically look around for it had you dropped it? Or… you gasp turning around. “That guy stole my bag!” You sob out, startling Vash beside you. You feel Vash place his hands on your shoulders, it forces you to look at him with a determined look in his gaze.

“Stay here, I’ll get it back.” You don't get a chance to reply when Vash takes off running. You frown, letting out a sigh as you listen and do what you are told for once. 

It's not difficult for Vash to catch up to the thief, he does so pretty quickly and is sure he can resolve this without any issues. The moment he saw that sullen look in your gaze, he knew he had to do something. It broke his heart to see such a sad look on your pretty face! 

“Hey stop!” Vash calls out, it startles the thief, who clearly thought they were in the clear. Vash lunges forward getting ahold of the bag, he didn't have much of a plan after that. “This belongs to my friend!” he says it with a cheerful smile, catching the man even more off guard with his attitude. 

The thief lets out a ‘tsk’ noise and tried to pull the bag back towards themselves, but Vash’s grip was stronger, and with one yank managed to get it out of the thief's hands… and spill all the contents. Vash cringed as the thief ran off, with a sigh he dropped to his knees to place everything neatly back into the bag. 

It seemed to all be mostly art supplies, he knew if you had to replace anything you would feel guilty spending the money. But you deserved it, hell if it wasn’t for you, they wouldn’t have enough to eat sometimes. Vash paused looking down at your sketchbook, you were always drawing in it but it was rare you’d show your work to him, and the others. 

Surely a quick peek wouldn’t hurt? It was already sitting half open, not wanting to psyche himself out Vash grabs it carefully and starts looking through it. His gaze softens as he looks at your sketches, familiar landmarks and places you've traveled, some animals, and people familiar and not. Vash turns the next page and flushes.

Sketches of him, is this how you see him? All soft lines, and gentle expressions. He can feel himself growing redder by the minute, he spots your handwriting, little notes around the sketches. The notes are about him as well, pointing out something in his expression, what he was looking at. And then some of the notes are cutesy with little hearts around them, the biggest heart seems to be around a note about his beauty mark. With an arrow pointing to the sketch. 

Vash slams the sketchbook closed, heart racing. He’s flattered, but unsure what to make of all of this. After a minute he smiles, you think he’s cute! Feeling light and fluttery, he places the sketchbook in the bag, making sure he’s gathered everything he stands heading back to where he left you. 

He stops when he spots you, he notices your nervous glance as you shift from foot to foot looking around. Vash watches you for a moment and his heart skips a beat, he walks towards you joining your side. You look up at him wide eye, your eyes shining when you noticed your bag in his hands. Taking the bag carefully, you hug it to your chest, “Oh Vash! Thank you so much.” 

You throw your arms around his neck, and his arms wrap around your waist without hesitation. “It was no problem.” mutters, you huff pulling back. “Oh, I’m sure, I didn’t think a bag snatcher would be the one to take down the big bad Vash the Stampede.” You tease watching him blush under your gaze. 

Vash rubs the back of his head with a slight chuckle, you smile leaning in and placing a delicate kiss on his cheek. He nearly goes as red as his coat, and you’re sure your face is flushed as well. “Seriously thank you.” stepping away from Vash, you turn going to find the others. You don't notice the soft look in Vash’s gaze as he places his hand over his cheek, or the whispered ‘you’re welcome’ he gives you. With a soft chuckle, Vash follows after you quickly joining your side.

Whenever Aaron is away on a case you all miss him dearly just as he misses you. He does his best to keep in contact with you throughout his day and then before the kiddos go to bed he tries to make sure he can facetime you all before they go to sleep.

The little Hotchner bugs are always excited when they get to see their dad even if it's only over a video call. He still manages to make it fun for all of you even if he can't actually be there. It's always a nice way to end his day. It's more than just missing you all but he also needs to make sure his little family is okay. Especially if it's a case involving kids. He always calls more when children are involved.

"Daddy's calling! Answer it answer it!" Your little girl is yelling excitedly when Aaron's contact pops up and you immediately press the answer button. When his face shows on the screen you smile and wave at him before the little Hotchner bugs steal the device from you, not that you mind.

"Daddy! Look look! I made this for you for when you come back home!" Little girl Hotchner holds up a drawing she had made earlier that day. It's the four of you, or at least it's supposed to be. It's really just four colourful blobs. One is you, another is Aaron, and the other two are her and Jack.

"And I made this for you in school!" Jack shows Aaron his own art piece which is definitely easier to make out but both are equally loved by you and Aaron.

"Those are both beautiful! They should be in an art museum." Aaron smiles big and it warms your heart.

You all tell Aaron about how your day went and he listens with that same grin as his little bugs ramble on and on happily. Jack's sister tends to go off topic more often than not but Aaron doesn't mind. Neither of you do. He's just happy to hear their voices and see their faces.

"Daddy what happened! You look like a kitty!" Your little girl exclaims when the face of an animated cat covers Aaron's and moves when he turns his head or talks. You're giggling as he talks to them and pretends not to know what they're talking about. Then it turns to a dog and Jack laughs as your little girl gets a confused, but joyful expression on her face.

"Daddy, can you do a T-rex? Please?" Jack asked as he looks at the screen in front of you all.

"Oh no. What's that sound?" You can hear what you think is Aaron imitating a dinosaur and then the dog face goes away and is replaced by Jack's request.

"Rawr!" All three of you giggle when you see it and you hear Aaron's big laugh come through the speaker and your heart flutters at the sound. You miss him but you understand he can't be there as much as you all wish he could and that's why you always make as much time for things like this as you all can when he's away. It's important to all of you that you spend time together even if it's just a video call. It's still special to all of you.

Eventually you have to end the call because the little loves need to go to sleep, everyone is disappointed and they both bed for five more minutes. Of course you give in. They miss Aaron and you won't deny them that time with him as long as it's not insanely late and as long as he doesn't need to leave so he can work.

After the five minutes is up, Aaron tells them it's time for bed and they both frown but nod in understanding.

"I miss you all and I love you. I want you both to be good for your mother, okay? I should be home in a couple of days and then we can do whatever you want. How does that sound?" He smiles at the end and they both cheer up and nod eagerly.

After you all say goodbye and hang up you don't get them ready to go to sleep right away. Instead you all make a little video telling Aaron you love him and saying good night then send it to him. You know he feels a little down when you have to end the call and you want him to have something to bring his spirits up a little bit.

That's when you finally get the Hotchner babes ready and give them their nightly forehead kiss good night. You always give them both two kisses each when Aaron is away. One from you and one from him. Which they both return to you. One for you and one for their dad.

It's hard to be away from Aaron but you know it's even harder for him. When he's away you still have the little ones. It always makes you sad so you're constantly sending him photos and videos of you and your sweethearts so he still has some of the feeling of being home. It helps him get through those rough cases and he saves every single memory you send him.

When he finally gets home he's been so kept up with everything from the calls and messages that it almost feels like he wasn't even away. You make sure to keep him well informed on all three of you so he doesn't feel like he's missing out as much and he's incredibly grateful to you for it.

Finds out and tries to ‘secretly’ commission you lmao. Makes it totally obvious too, his handwriting is shit and eveeeerrryyyyone knows who Tobi really is…. Plus how can you even begin without discussing what he wants done!! Duh, Obito! Unfortunately for him, you are more interested in drawing matters of the flesh. He’ll only show his chest, nothing more.

‘That’s fine.’ You shrug, and get to work. Obito, however, does not have the resolve to sit still! It’s frustrating to no end, but alas, after what seems an eternity— its done. Sort of. Still much to add, but the basics are there and you’ll work better when he’s not asking how does it look every twenty minutes.

Eventually you do finish this beautiful piece of him, and Obito cries. You made his scars tolerable and beautiful with your mind’s creativity, he feels less self conscious about them, only a little.

Shisui:

Is the least normal about it when he discovered your sketchbook — more like snatched and played keep away. Had to fight him for it, literally. Will ask you to paint/draw him naked…many times lol and you respectfully say no... Not that he likes people to see him naked (ok maybe a little?) but he secretly hopes it might happen one day. It would be a private thing for the two of you, cause he wants that ass.

And when you do cave to his whim, just to satiate him. He’s nervous lmao. Had this oh so macho man idea of rocking a hard on but Shisui simply maintains his usual semi. It’s nice though, you make sure it’s extremely detailed..as he asked for.

Itachi:

Is the most normal about it. Though he still will praise you every time you finish a piece and show him, he is still massively impressed. How does your wrist not get tired? …maybe this is why your hand jobs are so good. 😈 Just watching you try a new technique (pointillism, which is my favorite style) makes his wrist hurt. Enjoys when you ask him for ideas! He has lots of them! Mostly…obscure and derelict landscapes though.

Would not be opposed to having his portrait done, but it’s really not his style. He is disciplined enough to sit still but doesn’t see the value in it. Not until the final product is revealed, does he truly understand how important this piece was. You’ve captured his personality in a new light.

Peeping through the whole, a frown pulled up between her ungroomed brows when she only see the top of the person's head. They were looking down and Y/n's best guess was Harry.

The haircut he got yesterday made his hair look much smaller than her liking. It was convenient for him, sure, but not for her. And, the hair on the top of his head stood up in all directions -- still he managed to look the most handsome man Y/n has ever laid eyes on.

A grin stretches out on his face when he looks at her, instantly leaning in to press a kiss to her cheeks, which have grown fuller over the course of pregnancy and then on her lips, which much to his dismay, she's always caught chewing on.

She laughed then, but none the less entered their bedroom and sat back on her side of the bed, picking back up the Shakespeare play she was rereading.

Huffing Harry stood at the doorway for a while, watching her snicker lightly, before he slipped into Karan's room. Another puzzle set was spread all over his floor, it seemed to be an Beauty and The Beast one. And, in the midst of the mess sar Karan, his hair tied as a cute fountain on the top of his head.

Whenever Karan was doing a puzzle, it basically meant that he was trying to shut down his mind -- something he learned from Gemma.

It meant that he didn't want to be disturbed, especially not by Harry who comes to wake him up annoyingly early and then clings to him all morning until he has to leave. (He pretends to hate it just to tease Harry, but he would cry if Harry wasn't there for even one morning). If it were his mother, though, he would quite happily let her in and even dislocate his arranged pieces, if she wanted to.

Very clearly, he was biased and a mama's boy.

Doesn't mean he hates Harry though, he still greets him when he senses him at his door everytime, just like right now.

"Hi bub," Harry said as he hugged back the little one, letting him run back to his spot.

Watching him solve for a little, he walked back to Y/n who now was totally into her play, and even had her reading glasses on.

First of All. Amadeuses Kids! They grew up! UWU. They're such cute little young fireball casters. Omg, that's almost like watching your nephews grow, they feel so much like a family...

That game series has been with me since I was a child and as I remember Trine (part 1) was my first (real) videogame! And now when I play Trine 5 it cures my soul so much, right when I needed it. It's like... Has a Tolkien vibe for me. I mean in the sense that It's too fairy tail outside, it may look childish, but it has layers! I really like the plot, it hit me right in the heart and made me reflect. And I was struggling with dark thoughts on Future and Trine's perspective on the global world's problems made me smile and hope for the best... Really thank you, trine team, you're awesome :D Where there's people who share your concerns and put it in the work of art like that and make witty satire on it that's precious. I have returned some of my faith in humanity now. 

Well, maybe some people may not see what I saw or just won't feel such weight, cause my recent experience made me stump on it, so well I need to say that plot in general... Dramatic. I was impressed How it manages to balance at the edge of magical fairy tail and life drama (OR that's again me and my pains. Anyway...) STRONG twists and things at stake. Heroes encounter both global threat and personal challenges (all three of them, but poor wizard, he got it the most. But he's so silly old man, I'm crying) (Zoya, my girl, I love you...) (Pontius... You're just perfect, I'm proud of you, example of a real knight :D)

Character writing is amazing, they REALLY feel alive.

For example: Amadeus marries a woman after he became a hero and throughout the whole game series he mentions that, then he mentions their kids and, like i mentioned now, now we see how they grew up! And in fifth's game due to plot he misses his triplets greatly and in the forest three heroes meet a fox with three little foxes... And Amadeus is like "oh no, I'm a terrible father" 😭

And there's a lot of cute normal or giant animals in the game series, we're helping them and then they come up and help us. Such lightsome game, I can't/// Those animals... Uwu/// (Just a little detail but I wanted to mention that...)

Man, time sure flies when you're with someone you genuinely enjoy the company of. It had been a good few years since Mercy, well Angela was first introduced to you. You both instantly clicked, practically becoming buddies overnight. However this friendship occasionally escalated on Angela's end, not to an uncomfortable extreme though, she only said silly and sweet things. Sometimes she said things more than that but you never understood why.

To Angela though, you were a goddess. She loved the way you moved, the way you flipped your hair, and the way you twirled your hair around your fingers. Everything was just so beautiful to her, like an art that nobody had mastered the way you did. She certainly loved to compliment your outfit, your hair if you did something out of the usual with, or she'd compliment something as small as your smile and laugh.

Oh god, how she loved your laugh. She could have sworn you were an angel because your laugh sounded like a symphony of angels. It was such a sweet symphony to her, she couldn't get enough. Sometimes she would purposely say a bad joke just to hear you laugh.

And your smile, god your smile. She loved your smile so much, she could have sworn it would sparkle if it could. Seeing your smile, just watching a grin come across your face or a small smirk when you were teasing the other agents, it made her melt.

This is when she realized she fell for you and she fell for you hard. She didn't know what to think at first, she usually buried her emotions so she could focus on her job. After all, being an agent requires a lot of focus emotionally and physically. So she did that for years until she realized it wasn't working. Even after Overwatch disbanded for a while and then grouped up, you took her breath away as if it was your first time seeing each other.

Only recently did Angela catch onto her habit of flirting with you. Before she knew she did it but she didn't know she did it this often. Little comments here and there, yet they were filled with such a sweet tone.

"You're looking very beautiful today Y/N!"

"I love what you've done with your hair!"

"My goodness that outfit makes you look ravishing darling."

"My day is much better with you in it Y/N."

"I suppose this will be another beautiful memory between us!"

The more Angela thought about it, she realized she had enough. She had to tell you. She absolutely had to. She couldn't keep herself from not saying if anymore. She wanted to feel your soft embrace and your warmth. She wanted to cuddle with you and finally call you hers.

She somehow walked all the way to your door already after a mission and a lot of thinking. Now she stood outside your door. She took a deep breath and knocked on your door, awaiting anxiously. She held her breath too, she didn't notice though.

You answered, wearing some sweatpants and a spaghetti strap, obviously had showered by now and in your comfy clothes.

"Oh hey Angela. What brings you here?" Your voice was so innocent and aloof.

"I.. I have something to tell you." She spoke with some confidence in her voice.

"Oh, alright.. Why don't you come on in for a bit? I have some food I should watch." You walked away from the door, heading to the kitchen.

She walked in a few steps, closing the door behind her. She eventually grabbed your hand softly, looking at you with a serious look.

You looked concerned but you stopped and turned to look at her. "What's up?"

"I can't hide this any longer.." She started, looking down for a moment, trying to gather confidence.

"Okay.." You looked worried now.

"I.. Think I like you Y/N." She paused. "Not think, I know I do." She confessed as she looked into your eyes, such a passionate fire filled them.

You looked shocked but it melted into a soft smile. You slowly tilted your head, to the direction of a picture. Angela slowly looked over when she looked shocked.

There it was, that picture of the little date you guys went on after knowing each other for only a month. Angela looked genuinely happy and she wore a beautiful light blue cowl dress, her hair was down for once too and it was curly. As for you, you wore a nice two piece that had a white top with black floral lace with a black shirt skirt that complimented the top so well.

She made a slight gasp and looked back at you.

"Truth be told.. I've liked you for a long while too.." You rubbed the back of your neck.

She looked shocked for a moment before to melted into a smile. She soon encased her arms around you, holding you still for a moment. Pretty soon she looked into your eyes, how she could get lost in your eyes.

"Well, I'm glad.." Angela smiled as she cupped your cheek.

"Agreed.." You smiled softly at her. "Anyways I should get back to me food.." You hesitated. "I suppose this makes us a thing then?"

"If you want it to be." She smiled at you.

"Obviously." You snickered.

"I hoped you would say that." She snickered softly.

"Well let's eat and we can talk more while we eat huh?" You offered.

"I'd like that." She nodded with her smile never fading.

"Perfect."

This was just the start to a beautiful relationship between you two.
