Did i need more reasons to love Rashawn Nadine Scott? Martha Tops and Lucian Azathoth are peak youth group leaders. Cuz I would join the youth group due to their sheer magnetism.
I know we usually do this kinda post during pride month but every month is pride month when you're gay so...
Reminder that if you're queer and you enjoy any of the rights you have, you must be grateful for trans and gnc people of color that were in the frontlines of the fighting
Oh wow, I love my really morally gray, conditionally immortal, not straight, crackhead energy attention whore with a cool black lady best friend who I don't litsen too unless I need her help, and very mean and violent bisexual catty boyfriend having protagonist who just knows shit no one else knows! 😃👍 Surley, I dont have a type, and im glad that this character is very unique, so obviously, there are no other characters like tha- OH GOD DAMN IT
i feel like it’s so integral to have at least one “at home” episode for every companion. so much character to be revealed in the premise of aliens interfering with everyday life once they are back on earth
wow... i love spy x family so much. the story, the characters, the message, and everything... to the way it rips my heart and sanity in the best way possible. forgive my lack of adjectives and my inability to coherently articulate my thoughts, but i just gotta say man, this arc was fire.
i loved it. it was perfect. it's definitely one of my favorites. everything about martha and henderson, the war, up until its conclusion with this recent chapter... just wow.
i can't express it well but i really really loved this arc. martha's message in the end is one of my favorites too because i share the same sentiments with becky, and for it to be challenged by a different perspective really did a lasting impression on me.
i am very satisfied with how everything concluded despite kneeing me in the gut with the most painful chapter known to man but it just made so much sense and i just aughhghhh!!!!!! i love it!!!!!! ಥ╭╮ಥ
Ok but why is Johnny's premonition dreams unironically such a good allegory for mental health problems in children. The child knows that there's something wrong with them, that this shouldn't be happening and all they want is their parents to tell them why this strange thing is happening. But the parents brush the child off, saying that "it's all in your head" and claiming that the strange thing is not real. The child knows it's real, but they're just a child, and they don't know any better. All they can do is curl into a ball and let the strange thing swallow them whole.
