Jaune's Family: Grandma (Other)

Ruby: Wow... I can't believe you got beat up by Cardin and then sent to detention for three days. You're probably the unluckiest kid ever.

Jaune: Well, actually, no, that'd be my auntle. My grandma is SUPER strict with them.

Ruby: Auntle? What's an auntle?

Jaune: It's like someone who's an aunt and also an uncle.

Ruby: Really? Are they both, or...?

Jaune: I honestly don't know. My parents never really figured it out, and neither have I. But yeah, my grandma is really scary, apparently.

Ruby: Really? In what way?

Jaune: Well, I wasn't really allowed to go to their house, because my mom warned me to stay away. She said grandma made my auntle, uh, well, they're not really happy. Like, at all.

Ruby: What does your grandma do?

Jaune: I think I heard she's a scientist, but what kind, I have no idea.

Ruby: No, I mean to your auntle.

Jaune: Oh! Um, well, she kind of locks them alone in their room and doesn't feed them. Something about making them stronger.

Ruby: That's horrible! Why doesn't anyone stop her?!

Jaune: Like I said, grandma is super scary. So scary, in fact, that my dad had to grab me when I jumped in to help my auntle! That was the last I saw them, too.

Jaune: I hope they're okay.
