'THE INKER' MAGAZINE #33, DEEP CUT EDITION (Octarian translation)
Woke up one day and decided that Deep Cut magazine cover was the way to go! I really like how it turned out! I may revisit it at some point and change up thr style, probably to use less line-work. Who knows!

Mother's Love
Day two of @usamamoweek2023 : Royalty
"In this (lovely!) Crystal Tokyo exclusive of Sailor Moon Magazine, we're having a lovely feature on Neo Queen Serenity - about balancing her royal duties and motherhood. Also, we're catching up with the pretty Small Lady! Grab this special issue in your local bookstores and newsstands for php 80 ($1.5)!"
If you're asking for King Endymion's whereabouts, he's currently on a secret state visit in Manila and Singapore (according to reliable sources). Oh, and watch out for his solo cover soon!
Background story: This very prompt reminded me to repost my art challenge piece for a small local art group I've belonged to. In that art challenge, we were asked to make a faux magazine cover depicting an anime mother of choice. And you know what, the first person that came to mind is Neo Queen Serenity, aka the future Usagi. I even included Small Lady in the mix, too!
(Originally made on 21 May 2022, but process video has posted on Instagram and Tiktok on June 2023)
Materials used: alcohol markers (Copic and Zig Kuretake), Tachikawa spoon nib, Copic multiliners, and Sakura gelly roll in white on Deleter Type B paper

Oh my gosh I had so much fun making this one. Did you know there was a 9 eyes logo in the film? Did you know that depending on which on-screen graphics you believe, the ninth country is either italy or australia? I solved their continuity problem by not including either flag.

Lilly - Mock Fashion Magazine
Wonder what does my preference of flip flops and sock say about my love life lol
This is heavily inspired by Antonio Lopez's art, like the pose dynamic and the coloring style (tried my best to get some inspo, not to imitate him). While the suit design is mine, the buttons are inspired by an illustration he did for a MAC collection.
The name "bubble" is inspired by the economic bubble of the 80s lol hence the "'till it bursts"

It ain’t much, but it’s honest work
Spent hours this afternoon wrapping my head around photoshop to be able to make this. There’s still things I want to do, like a tiny gloss and some more wear, but overall I am happy with it

Fiction Pulp Fiction Department:
Thanks to a combination of a low print run and poor distribution, the second issue of the Cobblestone John Press magazine Tales of Deadly Peril (December 1928) was barely seen on newstands and magazine racks. This is a shame, because it included a humdinger of a supernatural adventure by prolific Pulp scribe Somerset Quince, in which he pitted his wily amateur occult detective Docteur Filibert De La Fontaine (and his sidekick Nurse von Branch) against a colony of pitiless ghouls nesting beneath a mausoleum in Blue Hill Cemetery. You'd probably love to get your hands on this classic, but the bad news is that it only exists in another dimension and you can't get there from here.
