Sona was inspired by @shyaringan 's Raphaella design because it is so gender and ive been trying so hard to figure out how to draw Ivy's face and seeing that piece helped so much.

Well, it worked... mostly. Lansa is blind in both eyes with dementia and resurrection sickness, but that's nothing some bionics and a healer mech serum can't handle. Tokori is missing his right ring finger, but a finger in exchange for a brother is more than fair in my opinion.

Welcome back to the land of the living, Lansa!

Lansa is still technically hostile at the moment, so he's going to jail until we can get him on our side. Tokori will go sleep off his psycasting coma in the hospital, and then probably go right back to taking back-to-back baths before long. He's such an idiot, I love him.

In the meantime, Ivy has managed to get the jail emptied out so Lansa has it all to himself! Metan and Pegasius, our lovestruck deserter prisoners, have gone to start a new life of domestic bliss at a new outpost called Delsuston. They also have a pet ostrich named Sakii, so they're probably having a grand old time. Good for them!

Last but certainly not least...

... It looks like the end of Season One of this story is fast approaching. Four Jones boys, one android, and one beloved adopted little girl... that's a bit more than five by my count. Wonder what we'll do about that...

The Mechanisms’ mechanisms work differently in regards to how and how fast they come back.

Jonny’s is based on what makes sense the most for the story whether its coming back instantly for Sleeping Beauty or taking a whole hour or two at Gender Rebels so the others can do a show without him.

For Marius, I got the idea from a fanfic that he comes back when its the most comedic

Nastya and Ivy always come back after a specific, reasonable amount of time, Raphaella is similar, but various other factors can make it shorter or longer, giving her more things to experiment with.

Ashes comes back when you least expect it (only applies to mortals since the mechs always expect it)

Brian comes back when he is needed, and Toy Solider comes back when you tell it to.

oh!! this makes jonny's "our mechanisms rely on The Narrative" and nastya's "no tf they don't" both correct

So it’s entirely possible Zane would’ve overheated without his elemental powers if he hadn’t been waist deep in snow and ice all the time.

AU where in Rebooted, shortly after coming online all of the nindroids start dropping like flies from overheating. When copying from Zane they forgot to take into account that due to his elemental powers, he has no need for a cooling system.

the avam fandom ought to be one of the most peaceful-est fandoms in comparison to others. surely you can meet a bad guy or two but that's just nature really — overall the ecosystem in it is far more pleasant

HC: The calling your sibling by their title thing was common in old Ninjago (hence why Garmadon and Wu do it too)

so instead of "Why are you talking so weird?"

Thinking about how everyone has this complaint about how siblings don’t actually address each other as brother or sister. And valid complaint, I feel like people who write siblings that way have just consumed a shit ton of anime and forgot that for most English speakers, that’s not generally how they speak.

But then thinking about Ninjago, and how Acronix and Krux call each other “Brother” pretty much constantly. (And Wu and Garm actually, but this ain’t about them) And how Kai and Nya for the most part do not do that. The occasional bro or sis, which in my part of the world isn’t really that unusual, we do say sis here, but generally they sound more like actual siblings than some of the others on the show.

With one major exception. When they’re fighting Acronix and Krux in the museum. Kai and Nya hear the way Krux and Acronix talk and immediately put a ton of emphasis on calling each other “brother” and “sister”. They’re mocking them. Mid-fight they’re making fun of the way they talk. In universe, Kai and Nya notice that that’s a weird way to speak to your sibling. And I think that’s so fucking funny.

I know people are shitting on Americans (for good reasons, I won't lie) but like please, keep an eye on your American mutuals/friends/family members. Scary shit is happening, and I have a strong feeling some of us are going to "disappear" while under Trump's rule. Whether it be through illegal detainment or other means. Hundreds already have.

So please, check in on your American mutuals, especially the vocal ones, the ones who call Trump and Elon out. The ones who go to protests and spread information and are in a minority or several of them. It's incredibly important to show solidarity where you can right now. They can't do as much as they want to us if they know there are eyes watching, don't let your hatred for the American government blind you to ignoring the American people suffering and fighting. We don't want him, a majority of us never wanted him.

All of us were surprised that he won, and now we have Elon confirming he shouldn't have. He just pulled an aggressive stunt in California that hasn't been done since the 1960s. This feels different now. Please remember those that are going to disappear in this fight, and please don't assume that if we go down, that they won't turn their fangs to you next.

At one point the museum’s board and staff tried to get Misako to get rid of her hoard.

They mean very valuable and sentimental work place objects. (Even if they are a health hazard)

They offered to give her a storage unit with the fees paid by the board. If only she’d move her shit.

Hell they hired the Ninjago equivalent of Marie Kondo to help her clean it up.

The Marie Kondo equivalent wasn’t seen until a week later covered in various cuts and bites from Misako’s cursed artifacts.

Because intruder! FRESH PREY!

Fine we’ll use reality tv for this situation.

Maybe the guilt of national tv will get her to clean that bitch up.

It doesn’t. In fact it emboldens her artifacts to make even more of a scene to lure in fresh prey.

Which these paranormal situations apparently make great tv and oh her office doesn’t need to be cleaned.

It needs to be televised with all that interesting historical and allegedly paranormal mumbo jumbo.

People apparently liked hearing Misako ramble about her horrifying artifacts and their history

This gets the museum to make a spooky exhibit for day of the departed about death by natural causes and the like.

Ya know torture devices and the like Garmadon and her got as wedding presents.

These were put on the wedding registery by Garmadon not her. She just wanted cold hard cash.

Also a live exhibit about darker creatures too.

There’s a live spykor and other deadly creatures.

Lloyd's world changes the day someone recognizes him, not as the green ninja, but as Misako's son and asks about his mom.
