Man I can't wait to move out and have my own place. I know I probably won't have the money to any time soon but still. I can't wait to not have to walk on eggshells every time my mum is in a mood and not have to deal with my dad deadnameing me every chance he gets.

alicent's whole life has revolved around keeping her children alive, even and especially at the cost of their own happiness. everything she's ever done, everything she's ever sacrificed - her body, her freedom, her dignity - has been to that end. so her decision in the finale is a pretty stunning reversal.
if you're gonna make alicent suddenly overcome the sunk cost fallacy and decide that she's willing to sacrifice the kids she destroyed her life for to attain personal freedom at long last - an idea that I do actually find quite compelling!!! no one else on this show deserves to be monstrously selfish more than alicent!!! - you have GOT to build up to that shit more. getting fired from the small council cannot POSSIBLY be the thing that convinces alicent "i'm done w this shit i'm gonna sacrifice my sons and escape my ongoing self-destruction". one frolic in the woods CANNOT convince me she's ready to abandon it all. alicent's woodland adventures were not nearly cool enough to be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
this is not a character arc y'all. this is a "hey wouldn't it be cool if alicent and rhaenerya thematically switched places" coming up in the writer's room and then the writers tossing it in the last two episodes rather than working towards that endpoint throughout the entire season. It's not just a stretch, it's a slap in the face.

if you had to smite from the earth either nixon or garfield who would you eliminate. history will continue unchanged except if you smite nixon all the nixon memes disappear and if you smite garfield the orange cat goes with him
I would sacrifice anything that is dear to me to scrub this animal from all the veins of culture that it has slithered into.
I was frustrated with the Garfield comic strip from the twentieth of August, 2024.
Jim Davis has given up trying to claw from the mud. He has drawn a cat looking at the reader and telling a wet joke. By making Garfield a mere static image to surround text, Davis has taken the work of his heart and lowered it to the level of the borders that surround a pop up window.
My feelings on this topic eclipse and obliterate any other nuances to your question. If ever presented a shot at this king, I would take it.

Hey yall I just read all of Firefly Wedding's current chapters and is no one gonna mention just how ominous and death-coded that whole recent chapter was?? The ocean washing away their dream floorplan? You know, the ocean, the literal barrier between Shinpei and Satoko's two very different lives? Or the whole I want you to be happy just remembering me thing? Girl is gonna die at the end bro

really fucked up that this hvac guy just fixed a air circulation issue in my house that has been going on for over a decade, that multiple people have come to look at and could never figure out, by looking at my unit for two minutes and tripping a breaker
