What is you favorite flower?

OMGGGG I have so many I can't just pick one, So I'll doodle them and explain!

Sunflower - I just love how big and bright they are, they're super pretty. I think it's cool how they move to point at the Sun. Plus they have big green leaves. (I also like chocolate covered sunflower seeds)

Daffodil - I've recently come to love these flowers since they started growing in my front yard. They're really delicate but gorgeous to look at.

Lily of the Valley - they're just small cute droopy bell shaped flowers. It's adorable and I love how delicate they look.

Creeping Myrtle - They used to grow in my front yard under my insane amount of ferns. I like how these blue flowers look like a little garden fairies might hide in.

Buttercup - these flowers are wild and I think technically a weed. But I enjoy their delicate yellow waxy petals and used to make flower crowns with them.

In case anyone was wondering about the Lilo and Stitch movie here’s the highlights from someone chronically online enough to have seen the movie through snippets lol

Nani does in fact give Lilo up to the government, ppl defend it by saying David’s mom is her foster mom now but Lilo is still in fact in the system and can easily be taken away from David’s mom if conditions are “unfit”… the exact same situation Nani was in before lol

Took away all of Nani’s support system that the original movie develops for her except for David/his mom

Had Nani treat Lilo like a burden for “realism”… anyway…

Lilo literally says “you’re so smart Nani, I think you should join the Marines”

Nani was deeply connected to her culture and family, that aspect of her just isn’t there at the end of the day (and part of that is because Sydney is not indigenous Hawaiian and it shows… in looks, actions, and line delivery) and the conclusion to her story being giving up her kid sister to the state and leaving her home for a “better” education and future is atrocious

They had her go to California to study marine biology. First of all, it was implied she was a pro surfer in the og movie no hint of marine biology. Not every persons dream is college and it doesn’t need to be part of everyone’s story… the choice of “putting yourself first” in order to get a better education is very #girlboss… Second of all, Hawaii has multiple universities with marine biology programs that would give far more money and benefits to a native Hawaiian than literally any Californian school let alone UCSD lmao

They changed their island from Kauai to Oahu… most obvious reason they did this was because that is the island their resort is on and overrun with tourists. However, with this location change and their wack ass narrative changes they also made going to California even more blatantly propaganda because that is where the University of Hawaii at Manoa is… ALSO, Oahu has major cities… you know how Sitch has to find new meaning for existence because he can’t do what he was programmed to do because he’s stuck on an island with no big cities… yeah…

On this note, pretty much removed all substantial tourism commentary

CGI is literally so fucking bad like besides aesthetics the actors literally don’t point to where Stitch is and when they’re supposed to touch it they often miss lol

Editing is also terrible. Every scene lasts like 5 seconds and is jarring, so genuinely terrible I think shows like this are gonna further ruin kids attention spans lmfao

Nani misses Lilo’s actual performance instead of just being late to pick up Lilo from practice after getting into a fight…

Bubbles is not the social worker and is working against the gang (again removing all of Nani’s support system, he literally shows up for every holiday with the fam in the og)

Changing the social worker role from an externally imposing black man with good intentions to a gentle woman has some undertones tbh considering this is the justification: “According to Camp, it was easy for audiences to believe that a towering man with a "Cobra" tattooed on his knuckles was a social worker in the animated movie​​​​​. However, that kind of exaggerated character design doesn't translate convincingly to live-action.”

The new social worker literally tells Nani that the right thing to do is to give up Lilo… very different from Bubbles doing his best to keep the sisters together. Keeping family together is a prime goal in social work btw…

The known world of Vert is at peril from the appearance of portals: vortexes of mana that open into a land of dungeons separate from yours, filled with traps, mazes, and monsters. The populace is in constant fear of monsters that escape the portals and roam across the landscape. Your world relies on two things: the Heroes who band together to enter theses dungeons and close the portals, and the Gods who Mark them.

Raena: Your childhood friend and fellow orphan in the same church as you. She is the pride of the parish's Armsmaster and has been training on the bow since she could hold one. While she can be rash and impulsive, she admires you greatly and will go out of her way to help you.

Vana Peacebearer: A shieldmaiden from a clerical family. She is slow to warm to others, but will always reciprocate any kindness she is shown. Vana will follow the player character out of a sense of duty, but there is something that she desperately wants and cannot have. . .

Maymie Fox: A mage with an affinity for short-range elemental attacks, her favorite being lightning. Maymie will do whatever it takes to come out as the top dog. As an ex-street rat her morals are questionable at best, and vicious at worst. If you make a friend of her, she will drag you right to the top with her, whether you like it or not.

Jem Miye: A little shy, and a lot awkward, Jem is the quintessential healer. Like you, he's a Disciple, but to the God Melekoth, who rules the Moon. He has a feminine appearance that makes him insecure, but you can build him up with your friendship (or love).

Linzel Syrat: Linzel is just charming enough to mask how much he absolutely does not care about other people’s problems. He wants to join your party for the profit, although he'll be the last to admit he finds you interesting. He has a giant spider/bat/rat named Fancy that follows him wherever he goes. (Familiar choice available to players who might suffer the 8-legged aversions.)

Aslo Gergin: Loud, brash, a man's man, Aslo is a mage who likes to fight on the front lines, no matter how ill-advised others think it is. He's a hot and cold person, always willing to reexamine his opinion of people on the fly. He loves fiercely and immediately, which can get him into trouble.

Sweets: A follower and devotee to the Goddess Myrtle, patron of music and merrymaking, Sweets is a playfully mysterious bard who resides in Sentari, the capital of Vert. They enjoy getting other people to talk about themselves and making a pretty penny at the night markets off accidental confessions or juicy gossip in general. Your name is on a lot of tongues lately and Sweets is very interested to know more.

possible hot take prariepaw was more than right for what she said. i feel like if bess truly loved her kids she'd step up and join the clan. she wanted to have it her way and at first i was on her side. but one of her kids died because of her. because she wouldn't join a clan. moonpaw's death could've been avoided if bess wasn't so uncaringly stuck-up.

i have sympathy for the rest of the family, but i do not feel bad for bess. it was a result of her own selfish choices.

Prairie def deserves to speak her mind yeah!! I only mean as cosmic punishment for abandoning your kids - finding one of them dead on your doorstop and knowing and living with the fact that it's your fault is maybe enough. Having another scream they hate you try to attack you is just on top of that, but Prairie needed that moment I think so it all is happening as it will happen u_u

Contrary to what is apparently popular belief, I think Jason Isaacs’ portrayal of Lucius Malfoy’s behavior toward Draco lines up very well with what we know of Lucius in the books.

Some say book Lucius would never smack Draco with his cane. But someone as prideful and egotistic and nasty and full of conservative expectations as Lucius would undoubtedly have his behavior toward his son dictated by the “boys don’t cry” mentality. He has a firm idea of who Draco should be that he wants Draco to fit, when actually the real Draco doesn’t fit it. He projects his hopes for a “proper heir” onto Draco so much that it’s inevitably easy for Draco to disappoint him, which probably adds to Draco’s inner turmoil that manifests as bullying at school.

When Draco cries in the bathroom over having to kill Dumbledore, it’s clear that he’s actually a very sensitive person who feels things deeply and, unlike Lucius, has a conscience - Moaning Myrtle confirms this - but having a father as cold as Lucius has caused him to bury and suppress his emotions. The cool, emotionless, ruthless persona he puts on in front of the school, especially Harry and his friends, is just that: a persona. A facade, so he can be more like his father and not disappoint him.

With all that context in mind, I don’t think it’s much of a stretch to assume that book Lucius would smack Draco once in a while when fearing Draco was showing signs of “weakness” or “jeopardizing the family image.” (But never in Narcissa’s presence; she’d put him in the ground if she knew he ever hit their son and he’s well aware of that.)

Plus, it must be remembered that the books are told almost entirely from Harry’s POV. Just because Harry never sees Lucius raise a hand against Draco doesn’t mean that’s never happened.

Yes, Lucius loves his son in his own way, and no, he wouldn’t beat Draco to a pulp or even leave visible marks on him. But he’s definitely not above the occasional slap.

Just because Lucius spoils Draco doesn’t mean he remotely deserves any Father of the Year awards. Isaacs had very good instincts as an actor in how he brought Lucius to life.
