Contrary to popular belief, I don't need my historical fiction films to be historically accurate all of the time. However, Ridley Scott hitting historians critical of Napoleon with a "how do you know? You weren't there" is CRAZY.

It's always so funny to me when directors/writers of poorly researched historical dramas get mad when people point out the poor research. "Oh no how dare the people who enjoy actual history to watch the history-based show!" Bestie who did you thought was going to be your audience???
