Rise TMNT: Leave Him Be - Notebook Sketch

This was a sketch for something I'm working on (whether I finish/post it, idk). This was my favorite draft sketch of the bunch, and its literally poor Mikey getting reamed out for caring...

Poor little guy...

Anyway! I'm not entirely sure I'm keeping this sketch in the finished product or not, so I thought I'd just post it- literally because I'm actually happy with it. lol

I was just going through my notebook and I remembered when I drew some strange thing I saw in a dream.

They were super tall, stood more upright than I drew them doing, and had really long and spindly limbs.

Their face almost looked like it was made of wood? It was concave, stretched inwards almost endlessly but also looked like a circle of sticks woven together.

Their "hair" was again very wood-like, looked like branches on a willow tree almost. It was less like hair and more like loose twigs hanging out.

I didn't get a look at their feet though, I was too busy looking at their face.

They were also quite friendly too, kind of looked at me with as much interest as I had in them. And I remember I said hello and it waved a long, lanky hand back in greeting.

I like to think I made a friend :)

Well, this is random, but I realized I hadn't posted any Woodsman drawings, and I was in a silly mood. So have a silly comic with a sleep-deprived Woodsman throwing his coffee!

Smiler OC concept ahoy!

Basically what I had in mind for them is that they were just a normal musician that ended up getting marmalized. After the marmalization, they were kept in the Sanctuary, making music for the Ministry to play on the Smiler 24/7. They come up to Ministry employees so frequently that a few of the employees became mildly annoyed with them.

I kinda wanna make some tracks they'd probably make tbh. It'd be pretty cool I think.
