okay ! ripping the band-aid off and posting my selfinsert/oc !

Bailey Asuras, 23 years old and goes by He/Him/They/them

the lore of him and "his" Milo under the cut , sorry if its wordy or difficult to read I'm not use to posting my writing

It was any other day for Bailey as he was walking across campus to the next class they were needed in, that was until out of the corner of his eye they saw his ex… Ryan , normally he wouldn't bat an eye in his direction but when he saw him picking on another student he had to step in. 

once they threatened to “tattle” on him to the school about his behavior like there in fucking elementary school or something Ryan finally backed off. Once Milo was on his feet Bailey immediately started asking if he needed help or medical aid, when Milo declined they at the very least offered to walk him to class. 

Since that day Bailey took it upon himself to “protect” Milo ,standing up for him if anyone dared looking at him wrong .He would walk with Milo to and from classes whenever they would “coincidentally” bump into each other.

Which lead to them hanging out more and more and developing a pretty nice friendship , though Bailey observed small things with Milo like how he started to slouch more after they had made a joking comment about how he's “too tall” and how he grew out his hair a little when he said he “thought it look nice longer”

At first he just chalked it up to Milo getting comfortable around them , until he started to notice more concerning behaviors like his things seeming to go missing more often and swearing they saw him in the corner of his eye while walking home to his apartment sometimes.  

Bailey's first thought was that Milo was trying to bully or scare him in some weird way (MF does NOT believe he is appealing enough to be stalked).  He’d try to bring it up to Milo only for him to admittedly deny it and even try to offer his things to replace his missing stuff cause “that's what friends are for”.

Bailey really didn't want to lose the relationship he had with Milo, growing really fond of him and their friendship. Until one day when Bailey went to Milo's dorm with him due to the heavy rain and Milo not wanting them to walk to their apartment in that weather. Bailey took this opportunity to snoop around to find out if he had his stuff… he did but 

Not in the way Bailey expected 

Though he wasn't upset, quite the opposite actually  

They were fucking delighted    

Someone being obsessed with him of all people ? someone loving him that much to make something centered around him and going through all the effort… It made Bailey's heart race. From then on he decided to start dating Milo and loving every second of it.

Truthfully he had been holding back a lot with Milo ,not wanting to scare the poor man off by overwhelming him but now knowing how Milo feels they started to show their true colors. Bailey became very clingy toward Milo, constantly texting him , having to know where he is ,spoiling him with gifts and affection. The only thing during the day that interested him anymore was getting to be around Milo as much as possible and when they faced little to no push back from him it just egged them on further. 

He had to almost constantly be in some sort of physical contact with Milo when they were with each other which eventually led to Milo clinging to him without them initiating it. Any little injury or problem Milo had Bailey would take care of. Helping him with school, cooking him meals, comforting him, buying him things. Just the absolute works ,they just wanted to take care of their precious love. He shouldn't have to worry about anything but loving them, Bailey can take care of everything else.

This slowly led Milo to become dependent on Bailey to get through the day and Bailey welcomed it with open arms. This eventually caused Milo to even lose interest in school because he only really cared to be with Bailey. Which led to Bailey suggesting he could “take a break” and even live with him ! 

Milo agreed and Bailey couldn't be happier , now they don't have to worry about Milo getting in trouble as much cause he was at  home safe and sound . This more or less turned into an  agoraphobe ,rarely leaving the apartment waiting for Bailey to come back home.

 Milo developed pretty bad separation anxiety due to this as well. Bailey did his best to make him feel better by splurging on his hobbies and even getting him a lop bunny (Caramel) so he wouldn't be so lonely !  He even made matching chokers for each other with trackers in them and a location alert in case anything happens.

At some point Bailey became self aware about how controlling and overbearing he was towards Milo.. but Milo never tried to stop them ,he actively engaged and enabled this so was it really that bad ? he's just taking care of him LOVING HIM is that not what he always wanted ?

Kei: That they accept me.

Eiko: That they want to be the best partner I've ever had.

Q.002. Can you drive?

Kei: Eiji, don't you remember how I used to drive you to school when you were younger?

Eiko: I do have a license and my own car, but I don't really drive. I'd prefer my partner to do that.

Q.003. What's your favorite drink?

Kei: I like milkshakes, especially strawberry ones. I have a lot of nice childhood memories associated with them, haha.

Eiko: Just lemon tea is fine.

Q.004. Your ideal type?

Kei: Someone who doesn't judge me and someone who can keep up with me.

Eiko: Someone who is always honest with me and someone who is willing to do their very best for me. I think I'd like to date someone like you, Eiji-kun~

Q.005. Do you have any fun memories of your childhood?

Kei: My favorite one is when our dad's friend taught me how to take photos with my new camera and he told me to go and take a picture of anything I want. I took a picture of a dead butterfly lying on the ground. He said that I'm very creative and that I have a bright future ahead of me.

Eiko: I remember going shopping with my dad when I was little and he told me that I can have anything I want. I told him that I want to see him smile. He almost cried after that for some reason.

Q.006. Have you ever tried learning a foreign language?

Kei: I can speak English fluently, I mean, our dad is half-American and I've also spent a lot of time overseas. I tried to learn some other languages too, like French and Spanish, but I gave up. I'm not even that good at reading and writing kanji, so..

Eiko: I can speak English and a little bit of Korean, but mostly because I listen to a lot of music in those languages, haha.

Q.007. State the meaning of your name.

Kei: I think it's supposed to mean "gemstone"? Mom said that she named me that because she thought I was so beautiful, she wanted me to have a name that would have a meaning just as beautiful as me.

Eiko: I think it's something like.. "an excellent child"? Haha, my parents must've had a lot of expectations for me.

Q.008. What do you think about your siblings?

Kei: I love you, Eiji, even if you can be really mean sometimes.

Eiko: My little brother is very nice. He does have his quirks, but I think they make him cuter.

Q.009. What are lies to you?

Kei: Something that is necessary to have a fun life!

Eiko: Something that is forgivable only if it's done to save someone. I still won't forgive anyone who lies to me though.

Q.010. What are your parents' occupations?

Kei: Dad's a movie director and mom's a toymaker! Both of them are so creative! There's just something about our family that makes all of us so artistic.. You too, Eiji. Dad always praised you for being so reliable.

Eiko: I don't know actually. And I don't really care. Well, as long as they continue to buy me gifts and help me with money if anything happens, I'm fine.

Q.011. Do you like children?

Kei: I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that I actually have one, considering my lifestyle.

Eiko: Not really. They're not a part of my concept of a perfect life.

Q.012. What is/was your major?

Kei: Photography, obviously.

Eiko: Fashion design, though I'm more interested in modelling than designing clothes.

Q.013. Tell us about your dating history.

Kei: Um, are we talking about, like, "serious relationships"?.. Then I guess Ruka is the only one that counts..

Eiko: My victim was the only person I've ever dated.

Q.014. Did you have any friends in school?

Kei: I think I had one?..

Eiko: Yeah, but I wasn't really close with them. We talked a lot, but our relationship wasn't that deep.

Q.015. What's the greatest act of love?

Kei: Uhh, if it's from my lover, I think I'd just want them to tell me that they love me even when I don't look so good. If it's from me.. I don't know! Holding myself back

I don’t usually post OC stuff, but today's my Yuu’s bday so I drew her a sleepwear card! And since I spent longer than planned (it was going to be just a sketch jffkfj) I thought I may as well post it here 🫣💜

I made the "ramshackle" background using Jack's card (I got the background here !! ✨) as a base, and then customized the colors and details to fit my yuu and Ramshackle :]

✝️I really really like my ocs Mikeal, Santiago, Andias, Bernadette, and Aldyth (the church OCS) I post about them a lot.

📼I'm in the middle of a huge project with these characters, I can't decide between a podcast or a novel series but I'm currently working on the books. I have zero podcast experience so I'm kinda just experimenting with that.

Anyway

Here some more concept stuff for Baileys shape shifting abilities in relation to his emotions

Due to a mixture of never being taught about how to use his abilities growing up and lack of emotional regulation skills. He tends to bottle it up until they can't anymore and this is the form it takes

Sad/Anxious/Cat 

He uses this form to self soothe, when he starts feeling overwhelmed like being in a loud crowded place for a long period of time they will start purring. Their eyes will slit to dim the light and develop a cat tail to fidget with by rubbing it between their fingers or against their face and claws grow longer to chew on. Once their in private they break down crying they'll shift into a cat hybrid and become furry all over their body. He’ll wring his tail, dig his nails in his skin and when he cries it's very ugly. He has a pacifier and piles a bunch of blankets ,pillows ,stuffed animals (loves clothes). He’ll curl up in them and knead biscuits to soothe himself until he falls asleep.

*Developed this form in middle school after learning that cats purring can be healing though his parents disliked this so he hides this form the most.

Anger/Manic/Buffalo

At first Bailey will try to walk away from the source of the issue but if he is continuously pushed, signs of being at their limit will pop up. First subtle signs are puffing smoke out of their nose ,ears getting pointy and canines becoming slightly longer. Next sign is eyes turning red and yellow, horns growing out the sides of his head ,fangs getting longer almost like tusks ,ears and face looking more buffalo-like. At this point Bailey is most likely yelling and getting aggressive and it will be difficult for him to calm down at this point, his body will start treating you as a threat and once he starts attacking he won't stop until he hears others screaming at him or physically get him to stop.

*This forms come from the original “buffalo demon” that bailey gets his powers from

Happy/Love Struck/Dog

This form is their “default” but will lean into these “puppy” mannerisms more if they're really comfortable ,happy or love struck. They become very clingy and even nuzzle himself against you also loves to be pet on his head and tummy. His eyes become blown out and fur on their chest puffs up and can grow around his neck . More common traits are them tapping his foot when excited, chewing/ biting, wagging tail and drooling when feeling intensely.

*This is the most stable form as its baileys “main” animal form ,they keep them for aesthetic purposes 

Scared/Rat

This form only happens if Bailey is genuinely in fear and the shift is sudden so he can run away and hide as quickly as possible. Though if suddenly surprised or scared rat whiskers/nose and or ears pop out .which they will reflexively cover with there hands out of embarrassment and if scared bad enough they might squeak at first instead of speaking.

*This form is one of the only shift their parents taught them in case of danger and their dad especially like jump scaring him ,all in good fun, there brother also has a similar reaction

Hai! I just wanna say thank you! I have an account that I follow you in, and I mostly just scroll, hearts and reblog stuff there, but for a long time I was insecure and secretive when it comes to getting attracted/simping to fictional characters... I just read character x readers to make me happy and giddy, but then I discovered ocs being paired up with their f/os and happy artworks and tbh thank you so much, seeing your blog and other self shipping blogs and the shipping community makes me happy and that it assures me that it's okay to share/show my f/os, and to show my love for them by writing or drawing. I understand this feeling myself because years ago I was in the same place of being very shy about sharing my stuff (still kinda am if I’m being honest lol). And even if you’re mostly just focused on writing atm, you can always draw later! But I’m happy that you’re inspired!!!
