October: Opal & Marigold. 

This one was like... my opalescent whale... I really struggled with this one and went through so many sketches! This is actually the third version I painted. I liked the other sketches but just couldn't get the colors right. ;_;

  One of the challenges of this project was coming up with combinations of colors and poses that felt different from one month to the next. I didn't want to have any in a row that were "Spriggan with crystals on it" or "flower petal head", etc. For some reason, all my ideas for October were repeating elements I'd already used in Sept or Nov. I’m really happy with how this shiny bebby turned out in the end! . And with that, off to print!! Calendars, stickers, and postcards coming soon.
