going feral
i’ve mentioned feral alphas and omegas in a few posts before, but what does that mean? this post will discuss ferality,* its causes, common feral behaviors, and treatment.
*note: i will be using ‘ferality’ as opposed to the technically proper ‘ferity’ because the latter is based on the latin root and sounds pretentious, and the former is based on the english word and is more accessible
what is ferality?
ferality is a medical emergency caused most commonly by social isolation. it causes those afflicted to behave erratically, and is the most common cause of forced bites. it is one of the top ten causes of death for those over 80 years old. it is also called ‘loneliness disease’ or ‘bite fever,’ and is often euphemistically described as ‘losing oneself.’ in the past, more than a week of ferality was incurable. today, synthetic hormones and careful medically supervised management leads to over 90% of those afflicted to make a full recovery if treated before one week, and over 80% to regain most normal function if treated before two weeks. outcomes become less positive the longer someone experiences ferality, but there have only been 1,762 documented deaths directly from ferality in the US since 1980.
why does it happen?
humans in the omegaverse are pack animals not only because their ancestors saw practical advantages to living, hunting, and raising pups in groups, but because they were biologically dependent on one another. in simplest terms, interacting with pack aids the body in maintaining its optimal balance between the twelve dynamic (i.e., alpha, beta, and omega) hormones. prolonged lack of social support means that these hormones become unbalanced, leading the body to a state of multi-system disregulation.
ferality greatly reduces people’s access to the areas of the brain responsible for decision making, planning, empathy, and abstraction. it is the body’s desperate bid to regulate itself by any means necessary. those afflicted become impulsive, aggressive, and violent in some cases, so it is essential both for the afflicted person and those nearby that if you spot a feral person, you call emergency services immediately.
how do you spot it?
feral humans are fairly easy to spot based on their unusual, erratic, impulsive behavior. they may sniff the air (or other people) unsubtly, grab or touch things (or people) and fail to respond to spoken language. ferality is most commonly associated with inappropriate scent marking and biting for good reason: a feral person’s primary drive is to share scent with someone to help bring themselves back into balance. there are also some behaviors that can generally be attributed to the different dynamic sexes:
alphas
feral alphas tend to make aggressive eye contact as a posturing behavior
growling, snarling, and clicking at no one in particular
clenching and unclenching the fists and shifting from foot to foot
violence, especially toward other alphas
an acrid scent, like burning rubber or sulfur
betas
feral betas’ eyes tend to shift rapidly, settling on nothing for very long
humming, clicking, huffing at no one in particular
similar to alphas, they clench and unclench the fists and shift from foot to foot
general restlessness, moving quickly
climbing and perching inappropriately (e.g. on tables, vehicles, or buildings)
a rotting scent, like old meat or milk
omegas
feral omegas tend to make glancing eye contact—they meet someone’s eyes, hold, and look away several times
whining, purring, and clicking at no one in particular
baring the neck indiscriminately in a bid to entice a bite
hiding/burrowing (e.g. under tables or in closets. there have been several cases of feral omegas in clothing stores nesting in the clothing racks)
a chemical scent, like bleach or ammonia
how is it treated?
if you spot someone afflicted by ferality, it is essential to call for an ambulance immediately.
treatment begins in the ambulance. typically, EMS technicians anesthetize the individual for everyone’s safety. once it is safe to do so, the technicians draw blood and begin measuring vital signs and hormone levels to ensure that the individual truly is feral. in the past 30 years, rapid tests have made measuring hormone levels faster than ever. these levels are recorded and passed off to hospital triage, along with a record of any emergency hormones administered.
the hospital then brings the individual to the feral ward, where they have an individual room and nesting material marked with synthetic pheromones of all three dynamics. if the individual has been feral for less than ~three days, typically this is enough to trigger their body to begin regulating itself. in some cases, the individual may need direct scent marking in order to jumpstart regulation. if it’s necessary, a nurse or technician will swab the individual’s face and neck with a cotton swab soaked in a synthetic pheromone solution.
in more moderate to severe cases, the individual may need further assistance regulating themselves. in these cases, the individual will receive intravenous hormones and extremely frequent monitoring.
typically, after a few days of hormone therapy, the individual’s body will have reached a state of equilibrium and will be able to maintain the balance itself again. however, in some severe cases, the individual’s body may be unable to maintain the balance. these people will need hormone therapy every other week indefinitely. in some cases (especially those where there is also malnutrition or other severe condition), the issue will resolve itself with time. in others, the hormone treatment is for life.
how is it prevented?
the best prevention is maintaining healthy pack bonds. if, for some reason, this is inaccessible, clinics, health departments, and hospitals typically have nesting materials marked with synthetic pheromones. in the past five years, some nesting material companies have begun offering materials marked with synthetic pheromones. in addition, matching agencies sometimes offer scent-marked clothing or nesting materials for sale, though this practice is judged fairly harshly.

Lil habit Headcanons
Alphas love wearing socks. They’re naturally quite cold, so socks help keep the warmth within.
Omegas naturally will try to make their hair look a bit shaggy. Just because it makes their heads feel cooler as omegas are naturally warm
Because of Betas’ sensitivity to smell, they scrunch their noises often, especially to newer smells
Alphas are very good at climbing trees due to their need to scent above spaces
Omegas are actually the best swimmers out of the dynamics and many are inclined to water!
Betas have a knack for walking for hours and hours without needing to stop
Omegas talk with their hands a lot
Alphas nose a lot of things, even more so than Betas and their whole thing is their noses!
Alphas are natrually docile at times of rest and in this state they usually will be like a golden retriever
Pups blow their cheeks up natrually to try and appear more threatening
Betas teeth are the most sensitive and so you’ll often see them taking more careful bites than the other dynamics
Omegas are more often likely to chirp and call at random things because it’s easier than talking
Alphas feet are quite heavy when they walk and many are self conscious about that
Pups whenever they rub noses with individuals (nose tapping) will often remember the distinct motion of that person. This is because of paternal/maternal bonding

talk to me about feral omegas !!! omegas fighting alphas when another omega goes into heat !!! omegas defending their "territory" !! nesting omegas ready to bite anyone who enters their room !!
i'm tired of hearing about docile omegas, they're care takers they should be ready to fight at the drop of a hat !!
I am 100% for feral omegas! just chaos bringing omegas.
Omegas that are there to cause problems if you cross their boundaries!
I am a huge fan of Omegas growling when upset. I think it would probably be an uncommon thing just because omegas are treated in a certain way BUT that means that when it happens it is so much more shocking!
I'm thinking about older omegas that watch out for their younger counterparts. Like in a mall if an omega is distressed, a friendly feral grandma omega shows up to growl at people getting in the distressed omega's space.
I love the idea of omegas as caretakers but not passive! Omegas that break into their friend's house to drop off nesting supplies all the while being like "You have shit nesting stuff here you go also im going to be on your couch to make sure no one bugs you okay".
Thinking about omegas that scent mark everything they touch like possessive little monsters. You cannot lend them clothes unless you accept that they will return them completely covered in their scent.
My personal favourite type of feral adjacent omega is kinda bratty and mean but I also love the idea of aggressively supportive and caring feral omega.

TerzOmega (really just Omega) headcanons
ANYWAYS i have HCs Omega can get more animal-like sometimes
-he'll "paw" at Terzo with his hands, or his tail will sway like a cat's -he licks at Terzo and not in a gay way. again to compare to a cat, he just wants to care for his husband, like, how cats groom their partners' fur and stuff -he will probably pull Terzo in and trap him in a cuddle. just holding him -he ABSOLUTELY purrs -claweddd paws for feet… and the claws are retractable -i know that his eyes work like a cats like. the pupil is big when he's threatened, scared, playful/ its like a slit when he's normal/calm -he's 6'8 but he loafs atop his tiny husband. please be careful mister 4'9 terzo and scoot back when you see him doing the biscuit thing because he is probably about to loaf -he does the biscuit thing

Heat/Rut headcanons:
There are two "levels" of heat. Shallow heat is where the Omega is capable of functioning normally. Omegas in shallow heat tend to want their pack around them, for safety and bonding. Shallow heats are typically associated with packs gathering together to dote on the Omega. They are capable of caring for themselves, but it's very uncomfortable for them to be alone. Omegas in shallow heat CAN do things like go to work, but most places give Heat Leave (not giving heat leave is a red flag in most countries) typically the only Omegas who choose to work through Shallow Heat are Omegas who don't have a pack, so going to work would actually be more comfortable than being alone.
The other level is Deep Heat. this is the more traditional omegaverse heat. Head empty only breeding instinct. It is triggered by desire. If they are around an attractive person they feel safe with and they (sometimes subconsciously) think would make a great parent they trigger Deep Heat. They might be in Deep Heat for anywhere from an hour to three days. During this time, Omegas must be forced to eat and drink. Deep Heat can be counteracted by the presence of a related person, or any unpresented pup that they have a bond with. If a person is on Heat Suppressants, this is the type of heat they are suppressing, typically.
The most common type of suppressants acts as birth control as well, but it is possible to find some that suppress Deep Heat but doesn't prevent pregnancy (for some people Deep Heat may be triggering or they may have a disorder that causes Deep Heat to be dangerous, but they may still want to have children.) There are some suppressants that block Shallow Heat as well, but they aren't recommended for long term use. They seem to be most often prescribed for Assigned Omega At Birth trans dynamic individuals (though they are still recommended to come off them for a cycle or two every couple years for health reasons) but they were originally created for Omegas with certain health problems.
Heats vary from once every two months to every six months, and they last between 3-10 days. They can be triggered by certain medications, and possibly some foods, very rarely they may be triggered by the Rut of an Alpha but the reverse is way more common.
Ruts are also dependent on the Alpha's mindset, a healthy, secure Alpha who is happily mated will be clingy and jealous and constantly be scenting their Den and establishing boundaries. On the other end of the spectrum are Alphas who are SEVERELY unwell, becoming almost feral and very physically and potentially sexually aggressive. Alphas who go into the latter kind of Ruts can be very dangerous and it isn't uncommon for them to require rut suppressants and/or therapy to help in toning down the effects of their ruts.
Ruts typically happen on a similar frequency to heats (though typically somewhat more frequent) but they don't typically last as long (3-5 days is the average). When mated, it's extremely common (though not guaranteed) that Ruts and Heats would sync up (just ruts can also sync up but unlike with heats this only happens when mated. Heats sync up simply by living together).
In the case of both, fertility is much higher during Heat/Rut but it isn't unheard of to see pregnancy occuring outside of both (typically close to when they would occur).
Betas do not experience Heat or Rut as Omegas or Alphas do. Instead, Beta males have the ability to trigger ovulation in Beta females. (for non-Beta/Beta couples, ovulation can be stimulated with assistive devices designed for the purpose.)

There is not discussion nor fanfiction about the negative affects of being considered the "forgettable gender" has on betas in the omegaverse. I see so many discussions on how omegas are oppressed, how they handle it, and ways they over come it, and talks about how alpha often have to deal with the constant fear and distrust they face, but what about the betas?!
Imagine having society constantly rely on you to keep things running (going off the headcannon that they don't experience heats or ruts) only to be ignored and looked over. You are never wanted by omegas or alphas and this is even worse for female betas. Male betas and alphas are always talking about omegas and giving them gifts and attention while they have to sit there and smiling. And then having to listen to omegas complain about the attention. The betas understand the issues that omegas face but at the same time they get no attention or love. Its gotta be heart breaking.
For male betas they are in constant competition with alphas even if they will never be acknowledged. Even if they manage to be really good at something, even better than alphas, it wont matter. Why are you trying so hard you're not an alpha. They are bigger, stronger, and smarter than you, just let them do it.
To be a beta is to be the some of the most important unnecessary members of society. I haven't even gotten into other popular headcanons like the low fertility. I just think there could be so much more exploration to betas, and I might just have to do it myself.

Hi! Can you please give us some info on how tragedies like a miscarriage or infertility from an omega would be handled? Would their mate react differently depending on them being an alpha beta or omega? How do omegas commonly heal from that
These might be mostly omega based but there will be some alpha and beta hc too within.
Loss:
* Omegas who lose a pregnancy, or even just a pup at that in any form, can face it in a bunch of different ways. Shock, loud grief, self hatred, deep depression, etc.
* Everyone goes through grief differently, but for a sub gender that’s very instinctually driven (most of the time) to have children, they likely take much longer coming out of the pain/numbness that loss of a child brings.
* Omegas grieve loudly or in silence, wrapped up in the empty comfort of their nests if they have one, whether they have a partner or not, they zone out into their own grief for a good long while before they grieve together with their partner or their pack or family.
* They become glued to their partner/packmate/family members side while they’re healing, touch often serving as the most grounding thing for them. (Touch averted or sensitive omegas probably just enjoy general closeness and calming scents as their form of comfort if they’re not feeling very touchy)
* Healing from these things can take a long time and being fully healed from such a loss can never come for some, but having their close people around as much as possible gets them to or as close to healing as possible.
* For some omegas, healing might come in the form of trying for another as soon as they healthily can.
* An omega with an alpha partner will probably spend a lot of time being crooned at or rumbled at, their alpha mate doing what they can verbally but also naturally. Those sounds are not only naturally healing but also stress relieving (healing in itself). Their alpha will probably also become incredibly protective during this period, not keeping them shut in per say, but guarding them and coddling them as much as possible, they might become more growly and less tolerant of others until their omega shows signs of feeling better. The alpha will also get comfort from their omega, purring when their alpha seems down despite being down themselves. The general closeness and ability to care for their omega helps them as well through their own emotions, comfort coming in from showing care and love.
* Omegas with beta partners will likely receive very tactical and thought out care, being able to use their knack for emotional regulation as an advantage. They emit a much more relaxed protectiveness, delicate with their omega partner. They guard them less than an alpha does and more so guides them through discomforts. Betas get their comfort through similar means as alphas do, making sure their omega is comfortable and that they’re doing everything they can for that to happen. Since betas can’t make all sounds alphas or omegas can, they rely more on touch and spoken words, reciprocating sounds where they can, but more often saying sweet nothings and gently comforting their partners.
* Omegas with omega partners mourn together, omega partners knowing most what type of dread fills them up at even just the idea of losing a child. They spend a lot of time grooming their omega partner and spreading calming omega pheromones. A lot of gentle skin ship and over nesting happens, creating a super cozy space for them. Omegas can get really protective like alphas can, omegas with omega partners who’ve experienced loss can even tend to be a bit scarier. Their nest becomes their safest most sacred space while the other is healing and they won’t let anything taint the safety. They purr often, sweet chirps also joining the mix when they want the other to listen to them, coaxing them out of their dark headspace through the gentlest and most familiar of means.
Infertility:
* Omegas who find out they’re infertile or really close to infertility (struggle super hard with having children) can struggle in very different ways to omegas who have lost children.
* They struggle with deep frustration, their instincts never, or near never, able to be satisfied. Wanting so badly to have their own pups can lead to depression or bursts of frustration induced rage.
* They’ll probably be a little destructive at first, mind fighting with body more than anything. They’ll likely wall themselves up before dropping guard and needing comfort.
* Omegas who deal with infertility can sometimes deal heavily with urges to take other pups, nest robbery of sorts and they can struggle to regulate their hormones and emotions when faced with puppies especially when they first find out.
* Partners of omegas who are infertile would probably all act the same in one way or another. Alphas and betas and omega partners with infertile partners most commonly tend to be supportive, but as with any life changing issue some can react poorly too.
* Omegas deal with large self esteem issues due to infertility. Feeling like failures that one of the things their bodies should be good at, that their bodies are basically coded for, they can’t do. Omegas often have to go through a lot of therapy to feel better and if not, they spend a lot of time clinging to people in their life who provide support to them, no matter what, they often need help boosting themselves back up from that feeling of failure.
I’m sorry I don’t have more ideas for infertility but!!!! these are my little ideas for your ask! I’m sorry it’s so long and if there’s any funny mess ups I’m writing this at work oops. These are probably a little jumbled but I tried my best hehe.

Dynamic Descriptions
The secondary sex categories or dynamics are Alpha, Beta, Omega, Beta-Alphas or Zetas, and Beta-Omegas or Thetas. A/N: I picked those particular Greek letters because I wanted all the Beta mixed dynamics to rhyme with Beta.
Alpha
Alphas are the instinctual protectors. They are typically willing to put themselves into harm's way to ensure everyone is safe, however, they will only engage in a physical fight if provoked or an unknown person gets too close to their mate or pack; especially if a mate is pregnant.
They have the longest canine teeth of all the dynamics, but they aren't very sharp. It takes intentional force behind a bite to puncture skin so Alphas bare their teeth as a warning more than a threat. The most common kind of fight is over a potential mate, and this is often the only time an Alpha's nails will protract into claws as their instincts are at the forefront of their mind instead of rational thoughts.
Their protective instincts also drive them to want to provide a suitable, comfortable place to live for their pack and mate(s). Alphas will take their time searching for just the right home that is well located to be protected from others as much as possible or will mark their territory to keep strangers away (deliveries have to be left in a lock box at the edge of the property, like a mail dropbox). Some Alpha's will even build or have a house built for their pack or make various improvements to their homes to make it perfect.
Alphas are the most fertile dynamic when impregnating someone.
Female Alphas have Ambigenitalia, both sets of primary sex reproductive organs, and can therefore impregnate others and be impregnated. They have a clitoral penis or a clitoris that when aroused elongates, fills out in diameter and has a knot structure at the bottom. When not aroused, it shrinks to between 6.5 and 12 cm or 2.56-4.72 in, staying outside the body as an enlarged clitoris. Their testicles are internal for most people but some do have theirs drop.
Female Alphas don't ovulate very frequently (typically every seventy-five days) and they're fertile for fewer days then other dynamics, which makes getting pregnant harder unless they get a fertility boost. They also experience some complications with childbirth as they normally have narrower hips than Betas, making them prefer cesarean sections over vaginal birth as they have become more widely available. Due to their body's restrictions, they more often than not only get pregnant with one pup at a time, which works out as their milk supply is below average so some parents could struggle to feed even one pup at times.
Alphas have an Alpha Voice, but they only have access to it while they have at least one mate bond, have several packmates (three or more) or a pup as it only works on closely bonded people or to specifically push dangerous people away from the pack.
Beta
Betas are the balancers, stable workers and main providers. They have the most sensitive noses which allows them to sense shifts in mood and pheromone/hormone levels in those around them. It can also affect them negatively if the space they are in is particularly smelly. Betas can mildly to moderately influence the moods of others, even strangers, depending on their own control of their pheromones. This ability can improve with practice, but typically, the more people in the space the harder it is to influence everyone to the same degree, unless the person is exceptionally good at controlling their pheromones. When bonded they have even more influence over their mate and/or packmates without practice as there is a higher level of trust in the relationship. But whether there is a close bond or not, the influence is short lived, lasting at most five minutes as it is for peacekeeping or to help keep someone calm.
Betas with excellent to exceptional control of their pheromones are capable of producing a nullifying pheromone that can cancel out any other it comes in contact with, basically resetting a space as long as no one else is putting out more pheromones. This is another balancing tool or it can be used to help someone going into heat make a quick escape. This nullifying pheromone, if used correctly, can be turned into a pheromone/hormone combo that can break down the chemical connections that create bonds; something that is completely unique to Betas.
Betas can also absorb pheromones and hormones, which allows them to help to hold off a rut/heat cycle for a few hours; fully stop a cycle that is just starting or end one early; when bonded, some Betas can absorb enough to stop a cycle at any stage. Absorbing has a rebound effect and will push Betas into either a rut or heat cycle of their own some time later. Which cycle and how long it lasts depends on their own biology, what dynamic their mate is (if they have one) and the strength of the pheromones and hormones absorbed. So a Beta who absorbed heat pheromones and hormones from an Omega that were of a moderate strength (someone who wasn't in full blown heat yet) could be pushed into their own heat a day later. This heat could last approximately 1.5-2 days long. Whereas a mated Beta doing the same thing would probably be pushed into a rut cycle for 1-2 days. The ability to absorb pheromones and hormones starts to fade as they reach fecundopause or the end of their fertility. Post fecundopausal Betas no longer have access to this skill.
When sexually satisfied, a Beta's pheromones can boost the fertility of everyone in the immediate area during rut/heat cycles. The effect can become more potent when mated or with control so contraceptives may be needed. Control can also turn this effect down, but there will always be a mild boost, even for the most disciplined. Outside of these increases and a rebound cycle, Betas are normally only as fertile as a regular human would be.
They have the shortest and bluntest canine teeth of all the dynamics, but they're still sharp enough to initiate a bond when enough force is applied.
Betas have elite level stamina. They are the main workforce as they don't have regular heat and rut cycles to throw them off their everyday activities. Having the levels of energy they do allows them to look after everyone else while also being able to do all the work left over during other people's cycles without it being too tiring.
Omega
Omegas are the instinctual nurturers. They nurture bonds, keeping the connections between everyone in the pack healthy and flourishing. They also tend to gravitate towards nurturing children, pets, plants or even all of these at once.
Omegas are the most fertile dynamic when being impregnated. They are prone to carrying more than one pup at a time in each pregnancy, most often twins (identical or fraternal) but larger numbers are not uncommon (around a 25-30% chance of more than twins). Male Omegas are able to do this as they are Bigenitalic or have Ambigenitalia. They also grow more mammary tissue during the pregnancy in order to breastfeed; for most, the tissue will reabsorb into the body after breastfeeding stops and the hormone levels lower, returning to their previous size, but some retain around an A cup of tissue that may or may not increase in size with subsequent births. Both Male and Female Omegas are above average producers of breast milk, helping their multiples survive past infancy.
Male Omega's Bigenitalia means they have a working male reproductive system, but their sperm count is low, even in heat, so impregnating someone else takes work unless they have an outside help with their fertility.
They have the second longest canine teeth after Alphas and they're also the sharpest.
Omegas gain Omega Voice after presenting. Omega Voice is most powerful in situations where an Omega feels that they are in danger of some kind as they would most likely be able to talk their way out of it, however it must be genuine danger and not a threat that is a means to get someone to use their ability. When threatened, an Omega's most useful tools are their teeth, Omega Voice and their claws which will protract if they need to defend themselves. Omega Voice is also useful for calming down unruly pups or overwhelmed packmates: blood related or pack bonded members of a household, community or compound.
Zeta
Zetas are the midpoint between Alphas and Betas. They and their Theta counterparts have the second most sensitive noses after Betas. Zetas have a mild to moderate ability to influence the mood of their packmates, pups and mate(s) with their pheromones, but no ability to influence strangers. This can of course get stronger with practice and control. The closer the bond, the stronger their ability is without refinement, but the easier it is to mess up more complex mood changes. For example, if someone is feeling angry it's relatively easy to pivot to neutral or calm as they're not directly opposing emotions, but more skill is required to push all the way to happiness and not just make the person madder.
Zetas, similar to Betas, can influence the fertility of others in cycle just by using their pheromones. Their ability, however, works at will and only with practice so there is less of a chance of accidental pregnancy, but on the other hand, if a Zeta can't control it they can't give anyone a boost.
Unlike Betas, Zetas specifically can extend someone's heat cycle by producing rut hormones and pheromones out of their own cycle to keep the heat going. This only works on those who are mated, two or more unmated people or between packmates to a lesser extent. Doing this out of cycle will push them into a mini rut, usually for the duration of the time they're helping the person(s) out. Extending a heat has the benefit of making sure mate bonds are in place and healthy for multi-person bonds and ensuring one or more pregnancies.
Their canine teeth are longer than a Betas but just as blunt, so they also can still initiate a bond.
Zetas are in the middle of the dynamics when it comes to fertility as they produce less sperm than Alphas, but more than Betas. This is true even in rut cycles for all primary sexes.
Female Zetas have Ambigenitalia and can both impregnate others and be impregnated. Female Zetas ovulate more frequently than Female Alphas (about every fifty days) and their hips are typically more in line with a Female Beta's, so they are more likely than Alphas to successfully carry a pregnancy. However, they still frequently only get pregnant with one pup at a time; in very rare instances they might have a twin pregnancy, but no more than two pups at a time. One of the reasons is they are slightly below average producers of breast milk, so multiple pups would have a hard time surviving without outside help.
Theta
Thetas are the midpoint between Omegas and Betas. They, like their Zeta peers, have a mild to moderate ability to influence the mood of their packmates, pups and mate(s), but no ability to influence strangers. They can also influence the fertility of others in cycle at will. Thetas can do the opposite of Zetas and extend someone's rut cycle.
Their canine teeth are longer than a Betas but are almost as sharp as an Omegas.
Thetas are also around the middle when it comes to fertility as they're more fertile than Betas, but less than Omegas.
Male Thetas have partial Bigenitalism as they do not have a vulva, but they do have everything else from both sets of reproductive organs. The uterus is still connected to a cervix and a canal, but the canal is connected to the anus and is separated by a wall. The wall is the Epivagina, which keeps the reproductive organs and waste separated by moving to cover the rectum for access to the vagina when aroused which also closes that half of the anal sphincter. Male Thetas and Omegas also have an internal clitoris just inside the vagina.
Both Male and Female Thetas have about a fifty-fifty chance at having one pup at a time or a random number of multiples, but usually no more than four as their hips aren't as wide as an Omegas. They can also be over-producers of breast milk making them the biggest suppliers of all of the dynamics. It depends on how many babies they have to feed and how many other babies they're around if their bodies will go into overdrive. Thetas are generally known to be rather generous with their oversupply of milk as they have enough to go around, maybe even to store some for later. This has earned them the title of "Wet-nurse" and anyone with a newborn, especially multiples, is all too happy to pay a Theta for their milk or court one for their pack as the mammary glands can be stimulated or encouraged to grow outside of pregnancy if needed.
Dictionary
Fecundopause - end of fertility.
Fecund - Highly fertile; able to produce offspring.
Pause - A temporary stop or rest; an intermission of action; interruption; suspension; cessation.

I don’t know who needed to hear this but let me make it clear
Omegas that aren’t into the cute petite aesthetic, ARE VALID
Omegas with ‘scary dog’ privilege, ARE VALID
Omegas who wear spiky collars and techware as opposed to oversized fluffy hoodies, ARE VALID
Omegas who have hobbies like boxing, karate, weightlifting etc, ARE VALID
Omegas who listen to death metal, punk rock, gothic rock, ARE VALID
Omegas with scary/intimidating/punk/goth aesthetics, ARE VALID
not every omega has to have a soft/cuddly/uwu aesthetic. You can be an omega and a fighter, you can be an omega and have scary dog privileges, you can be an omega and not be fluffy and cute.
Omega is an identity, not an aesthetic.

Fictional Media for Omegas
Okay so like yeah a/b/o can exist in the real world where everything exists already (most of my a/b/o au’s are like this) but I wanted to take a sec to brainstorm fictional popular medias that would be for each dynamic!! Especially because in my a/b/o it’s a mix of real life and fantasy!
In General:
Veer Here! - 2022 film about a real life Omega’s story about how he had to prove himself to be amongst the sailors back in 1890s
Cherry Heart - 2016 film about an Omega / Omega Lesbian couple. First media to have a main Omega / Omega lesbian couple with a trans dynamic and transgender Omega
Spark and Storm - 2012 Film about two male omegas in love in the military, while not the first of its kind, is the most popular.
Honey Lips - 2012 erotica about Omega dom and alpha sub, not first of its kind but was very well written
Peas in a pod - Sapphic Alpha and Omega TV drama, 2011
Lacy’s Letter - 2010 film about an Omega who falls in love with a Beta. While not first of its kind, it was very loved by Omegas and Betas and sparked a safeness around going against the norms of sexuality
Heats Suck!! - A book about teen Omega empowerment, was a big hit and is still a big hit, was made in 2005, and adapted as a film the same year
Whispers about Amy - About a nonbinary Omega in love with a Beta, 1959 musical/play
Mailbox chocolates - 1950′s book about an Omega in love with another Omega, was just a big hit
When Winds Go East - old 1930′s cartoon about an Omega explorer, first cartoon with this concept
It’s 1896 - A story set written in 1896 about an Omega who tries and fails at being part of the military. Super sad book but popular due to sparking new ideas of what omegas can do, though has many stereotypes
Pearls - 1600′s sapphic poem about a female Alpha and female Omega
if anyways wants to add on, go for it!!

i absolutely adore how you draw omega and was wondering if you have any ~headcanon reasons~ for why he looks less humanoid than your other ghouls!
Thank you!
And yes, I do! It's because of his age and how he encountered the Clergy. Omega wasn't summoned by them, he was found hundreds of years ago. A powerful demon of quintessence, that crawled out of the pit himself, to prey on humans.
Because of this, he wasn't given a human vessel to alter into his own. He was already there, solid, in full demonic form, when the members of the Clergy approached him and offered him a place in their rank. He joined, originally out of amusement of what these silly mortals intended, and that they would provide him a free meal if he grew bored with them.
Omega didn't anticipate growing attached to the dark ministry, and Emeritus bloodline.

What would an all single dynamic pack look like, for example a pack with only Omegas?
This would certainly be interesting!
All Omega Pack
Very focused on nurturing and protective of each other
Hesitate of anyone joining in the pack that not many know
Very cuddly
They all help each other through everything, from simple daily life stresses to getting through heats
Building giant nests together and basically turning their living room into a communal nest
They all stick very close together. Even in public they'll typically walk arm in arm
Crushes are a major thing and they all inspect said crush one way or another to ensure their packmate will be okay
All Beta Pack
They're constantly fighting over who does which chore
Very openly talk about relationships and how they feel about everything
The very definition of "did you eat today? I just cut up some fruit for you"
All Alpha Pack
You would think they're very aggressive but they're super chill
They like to look out for each and are constantly encouraging each other to better themselves
They also build giant nests for cuddle sessions
Watching movies every single night
They happily brag about their all alpha pack to anyone who will listen
Happily welcoming anyone who wants to join and works hard to make them feel welcomed

Omega headcanons
Omegas are usually smaller than other dynamics, so they are generally little spoons.
In general, Omegas take the role of caregiver and caretaker.
Omegas are picky about interior design, and prefer a soft and round design.
Even if Omegas don't have pups, they use edge guards sometimes.
People think that Omega is the smartest one, but it isn't true. It only seems because of the vagabond tendency of Beta and the inability to concentrate of Alpha, and Omegas have a high concentration.
Beta focuse on the whole, and Omegas focuse on one.
If Omegas is on the ropes, they can become more aggressive than Alphas.
Omegas have the most closed and introverted personality compared to other dynamics.
Omegas' ideal body type is chubby and ruddy.
Omegas' sense of smell is good at smelling nature, so when they are young, they like to go out and collect grasses and flowers.
Omegas tend to do yoga at home, when they have to excercise.
Omegas are possesive and territorial like Alphas, but unlike them, Omegas express indirectly and subtly.
Omegas' canine is the smallest one among all dynamics, still, theirs are sharp.
Omega women have the largest bust and Omega men have the largest bust among men with different secondary genders.
When Omega men are pregnant, their breasts grow as their mammary glands develop.
Omegas have a submissive instinct, but that doesn't mean they're born slaves. They can always be selfish for their own benefit.
etc etc
