When do you think Yo Han would start to track Ga On? Because he definitely would, but could you see him doing it during the show, or starting post-canon? Do you think it would be triggered by something like Ga On going off the radar for a bit or Yo Han taking the initiative before anything happens?

As for when Yo Han started tracking Ga On, I'd say: As soon as possible. And I could definitely see him doing it during the drama. It could have started as a way to keep track of Ga On because Yo Han knew Ga On was a spy, but then they got closer and he just... never stopped. Because, at that point, it was more due to protectiveness than anything else.

Like, honestly. There's a scene in episode 3 where Yo Han comes back from his fight with the man who planted the bomb in his office and he hands over Ga On's phone. Or gives it back, rather, since, apparently, he's kept it hostage since the explosion? He even says that he's giving it back as a present since Ga On had behaved that day.

(How very Morally Grey Gothic Hero of you, Yo Han, kidnapping young, doe-eyed men to keep them locked away inside your hugeass mansion)

What's to say Yo Han wasn't tracking Ga On the entire time, since he apparently had unrestricted access to Ga On's phone for at least a whole day?

That's mere speculation, though. We're not really given any indication that Yo Han is tracking Ga On during the drama but, if you want to, it's easy to find arguments and opportunities ;)

But, either way, I think that Yo Han would start tracking Ga On before anything actually happens, as a safety measure. I mean, someone who's so keen on being at least two steps ahead of everyone else (not to mention extremely protective) wouldn't wait until after a threat has already showed up, would he? He'd want to secure an easy and reliable way to track Ga On long before that.

And as for how long it takes Ga On to figure out that Yo Han is tracking him — and how he reacts when he does? Well, those are clearly different questions entirely xD

You sat in the back of the truck with the remaining survivors of your "group" from the green home.

Eun-yu currently had a gun pointed at one of the officers in the front of the truck, basically forcing them to take you all back to the green home apartment complex.

You understood that she's trying to find her brother, but she's basically killing all of you.

The truck stopped Infront of the apartment complex, most of the building collapsed onto itself leaving a giant gap in the middle of it.

You stayed back as she went inside, hoping to find Eun-hyuk. Watching as ji-su held the gun pointed to the officer, just like eun-yu did.

It all happened quickly, and now you were tied up in the building,you felt the second officer, that was instructed to tie you loosen the knot on your restraints.

He simply nodded and pointed behind him, at a bus. You led everyone slowly there, and a guy, you never caught his name despite living in the same place for so long, began trying to start the bus.

It worked after a few times but the monster had heard you, the soldier began shooting at it and ran after the bus.

You held onto the door with one hand and extended the other to him, he reached out and after a few tries he caught your hand and you pulled him onto the vehicle.

With a quick "thank you" and a nod to you he took the wheel. And you drove off.

You sat next to the broken window. Looking outside. You turned to eun-yu who sat opposite you after hearing her call your name. A cigarette in her mouth and one in her hand, extended to you. You'd somehow become friends.

"want one?" You nodded and took it with a thankful smile. She handed you her lighter, a green one. You recalled it being sang-wook's.

You placed the cigarette between your lips and lit it, giving her lighter back. She moved to sit next to you, so the smoke wouldn't stay inside the bus.

After finishing your cigarette you fell asleep.

You didn't know how long you had been asleep for but you awoke to eun-yu shaking you.

You exited the bus, following eun-yu, you didn't know why, but you trusted her so you didn't ask her.

You jumped, startled after hearing a gunshot coming from the bus. You ran back, seeing the same man that had started the bus turning into a monster.

The weird man that had entered the bus midway poured some kind of alcoholic liquid on the floor and as soon as the now turned man saw his reflection on it, he started wailing.

It was the most blood curdling scream you'd ever heard, you covered your ears and kneeled down next to your little brother.

As if realisation had hit you like a truck you looked around frantically searching for your sister. The soldier stood Infront of you and your brother, as if to protect you. You looked up at him, tears threating to spill from your eyes.

He looked at you. As reassuringly as he could through his own teary eyes.

Ji-su grabbed the thing that the man had dropped, some kind of explosive? And lit the monster on fire. Killing it.

Once it's screaming stopped you rushed on the bus Yeong-Su right on your trail. You looked around and saw your sister, laying on the floor, lifeless.

"Su-Yeong!" You screamed running towards her kneeling on the ground. The tears actually leaving your eyes. You held her to you with one arm, wrapping the other around your brother who was now crying uncontrollably.

"Su-Yeong..." Your brother cried through his sobs.

You let her go, still crying. And picked up your brother who was screaming for you not to leave her walking outside where everyone was. You shook your head and most of them looked down, holding themselves from crying.

But the soldier. He walked up to you, placing a hand on your shoulder. "I'm sorry.."

You shook your head, sniffling "don't." He nodded and walked off, you all followed. Your brother still screaming for Su-Yeong.

You're now in the stadium, next to eun-yu screaming for ji-su. She simply smiled at you and nodded. You took a deep shaky breath in and hugged eun-yu to you, covering her eyes and looking away yourself.

You heard the chunk of the stadium finally break off. And crush her.

You stood up, pulling eun-yu along, you needed to find your brother.

You sat in the makeshift base the platoon had made for the survivors with your brother. Zoned out. Until you heard the alarm go off. Roll call.

You stood up, holding your hand Infront of you, lining up against the wall with everyone else.

The soldiers checked everyone, and the same soldier that had brought you here stood Infront of you. He nodded but you didn't react. He moved along checking everyone else.

Once the roll call was over. Your brother ran off to play and you sat back down. You had nothing to do. You felt weak.

Eun-yu walked past you, waving slightly. You waved back. She was strong. She actually did something. Unlike you. You felt useless.

You saw an old lady struggling to lift something. You stood up and helped her. She thanked you telling you where to place the box. Once that was done you bowed to her and left. You walked around your living area, helping people as much as you could.

Out of the corner of your eye you so the same soldier again looking at you, once he made sure you'd seen him he walked off. You followed him.

He led you behind some kind of staircase. And made sure no one was around before talking.

"I'm Chan young." He said a smile on his face. You scanned his face, he had a nice smile. You noted.

"y/n." (I hate using that.) You replied.

"are you okay?" He asked you placing a hand on your shoulder just like he had done back on the bus.

"as okay as I can be. Are you?" He sighed, looking down for just a moment but you saw him.

"i guess I am. It feels like we're stuck here, my duty is to protect the survivors and it's like I can't even do that properly"

You shook your head making him look at you with a hand on his cheek. "you should focus on protecting yourself as well. Physically and mentally. The conditions we live in are not easy. You of all people should know. I understand you want to protect everyone. But if anything happens to you, no one else will."

He stared at you, processing your words. This is the longest he's ever heard you talked. Your voice was calming to him. As much as what you'd just said to him.

He didn't know what to say. He just nodded at you. "Is that all you know how to do?" You joked, your hand still on his cheek.

"what?"

"nod. You've nodded at me at least a dozen on times in the past week." He chuckled.

"i just, I'm not sure what to say to that." You laughed. And lightly patted his cheek a couple of times before dropping your hand

"you don't have to say anything, just think about what I told you. Chan young."

And with that you were off.

From then on he'd always speak to you when he had time. You'd sneak off at times and talk, about anything. Your lives before the world you know today. Your feelings. Through that, he found you were good at giving advice and even if you didn't know, you always helped him calm down, or forget anything negative that was pestering his mind.

Everyone treated him as an outsider. Yet you would offer him food. He at first reacted like he didn’t care just walking away every time you tried. Slowly things changed. He would answer by shaking his head no sometimes he would take one piece before walking off as he started to warm up to you.

On a rather gloomy day rain fell hard outside, everyone already seemed to be in a terrible mood. But than a monster broke into the first floor. It tore through walls and damn near killed you all, luckily Hyun-Soo was quick on his feet to light it on fire before it could reach where everyone slept.

“ This is ridiculous we aren’t safe! That thing got down here!” Woo-Hyun shouted out. Making practically everyone jump beside Sang-wook who stood next to you.

“ Ya, I mean what if we were sleeping a-and it snuck down here and killed us all!” Gook-hee added pulling her dog closer to her. They had a point, but the way that they bitched about it didn’t help any.

“ Let’s all just take a breath-“ You started trying to regain some form of peace you’d all just lost.

Sang-Wook face fell for second before harding back up. He stepped back as Woo-Hyun continued.

Sang-wook shoved his hands in his pockets while walking away from the scene.

“ Did you ever stop to think that maybe he did it for our own good? Maybe that man was out to kill us or take our only things we have left.”

Everyone else followed their lead going off on their own. You decide to go after Sang-wook you weren’t sure what you’d find. But you saw the look in his eyes almost like someone had poked his heart.

As you turned the corner you heard the sound of breaking concrete and grunts. You saw Sang-wook standing over concrete blocks slamming them with a sledge hammer. Little piece scattering across the floor.

“ Sang-wook?” You said softly.

“ Go.” He muttered as he dropped the hammer on the ground his back towards you.

You start taking slow steps towards him asking, “ Are you okay ?” He didn’t reply instead he stayed silent you noticed his shoulders starting to shake by the time you reached his side you saw tears streaming down his face. It made your heart hurt to see him like this. You felt bad like you were seeing something you weren’t meant too but you weren’t going anywhere you wanted him to know that.

“ It’s okay.” He practically jumped on top of you wrapping his arms around your waist pulling you close gripping your shirt as he sobbed into your neck. His grip was tight like you would disappear if he let go. You wrapped your arms around his smoothing his hair as you whispering.

“ You can cry, it’s okay.” That he did. You practically watched as his walls came down you let him crying till the sun was setting by than you both found yourself sitting on the dirt near the window in a comfortable silence.

“ Thank you..” He muttered. You could help but giggle at his embarrassed tone, He gives you shocked look.

“ It’s okay.” You grinned. “I’m not judging you.”

Sang-wook’s eyes widen a bit at your statement like nobody had ever showed this type of care for him. Maybe you were the first in a while.

“ You don’t have to be strong in front of me.” You reassured him. You just wanted him to be okay to know that even if the whole world judged him you wouldn’t.

“ I don’t know what to say..” His eyes trailing down to the dirt.

“ Then don’t say anything, Just promise me you’ll let me be there for you.”

He nodded his head in acceptance of you and an acceptance of letting someone special in. You made him feel like there was more to this world than constantly having to watch your own back now he could watch what was right in-front of him.

Okay babes, episode 8 is nothing short of exciting!

📍Hae-in choosing to divorce Hyun-woo so he'd finally be free from all the bullshit her family put him up with, and Hyun-woo deciding to stay at Queens so he could prove his innocence and protect Hae-in. I feel sad that they actually divorced but again, it was necessary for them to "part ways" so they'd find their way back into each other, and I think the next episode will be about them slowly rekindling their romance and hopefully healing from the past. I am anticipating a more beautiful wedding than their first one.

📍Don't get me wrong, I still hate Eun-seong but now I'm becoming more and more interested in his backstory, so this bitch still has some ✨humanity✨ in him, judging from the way he reacted when he found out about Hae-in's illness. Him saving Hae-in from the dog attack when they were kids answered the question why he hates dogs. He's still trash, however I do have a feeling that he will have some character redemption somewhere and will basically help Hae-in find a cure, but we'll never know for sure.

📍Hong Man-dae is the biggest fucking idiot among the Hong family, I'm not saying he deserves what happened to him, I'm saying that he needs to learn the hard way and be slapped with the truth so hard that I want him to come down to his knees and beg his children for forgiveness. As much as I feel sorry for him, he was a terrible father to all of them when they got older...and trusting a fucking shaman? Really?

📍Speaking of which, I am actually glad that the Hong family is now broke af. They need to be humbled big time, especially Hae-in's mom, that bitch is such a poor judge of character. I want her to feel embarrassed and terrible about herself for constantly looking down at Hyun-woo and his family, these are the same people who'd willingly save and help their asses even if it meant getting dragged into this shit hole they dug themselves. Also, I saw a clip of the nosy old ladies who were making fun of her at the salon, I say...DESERVE! I hope she starts to change because honestly, I'm so fed up with her and her bullshit.

📍Soo-cheol maybe immature, but I have to admit that he's a good father. He just wanted his son to experience everything he never did, idk what Da-hye was up to. Maybe it was part of their plans? Perhaps she foresaw how messy it's going to be that's why she chose to run away, we'll never know for sure. I still have faith that she'll choose to do what's right for the sake of her son, after all, Soo-cheol treated her and their baby well.

📍Shout out to Song Joong-ki for his cameo. Hiring Vincenzo as a divorce lawyer is such a Hae-in move 😂

When Your Dad is a Pillar of the Universe 6

Kim Rok Soo at the small table in the living room. He was sniffling and his eyes were a bit red. His uncle was puttering around the kitchen boiling water for tea and milk and making stir-fry for lunch.

"Are you not going to talk?" Ask Kim Rok Soo.

"Have you calmed down?" His uncle answered without stopping his cooking.

Kim Rok Soo fell silent as he clasped his hands. "Not really, but I'll manage. Maybe?"

"Good enough, I suppose." His uncle was plating the stir-fry.

"Here, have some food first. And here is a glass of milk for you." Said uncle Seung Jong as he gave Rok Soo his plate.

Rok Soo nodded and started to eat. It was delicious. Just like the one his father used to make on the good days his tremors calmed.

"Does it taste familiar?" His uncle asked. Weirdly enough, he didn't touch his food.

Kim Rok Soo nodded, "It tasted like the one my Dad made."

"Of course it does. He is me after all."

Kim Rok Soo nodded as he continue eating. Until he stopped as he digested what his uncle said.

"What do you mean my dad IS you?!" Kim Rok Soo screeched. Kim Seung Jong grimaced and rubbed his ears.

"Children really can screech, huh?"

"That's not the point! What do you mean he is you?!"

Kim Seung Jong gave Kim Rok Soo that strange smile reminiscent to the one his father gave him. "Exactly what I said. Kim Hyun Woo, or at the very least, the being using Kim Hyun Woo's body is part of my main body."

"Main body?"

"Mm. How to put it.... To explain everything, I'll need to explain how you were born. And that's a bit complicated," Seung Jong pouted.

Kim Rok Soo felt odd seeing what clearly a pout coming from middle-aged man.

"How rude. I'm definitely not middle-aged man," Kim Seung Jong said as he flicked Rok Soo's forehead.

"Ouch, wait, did you read my mind? And you are definitely middle-aged."

His uncle tsk-ed, " I didn't read your mind. It's written on your face. Also, I'm older than middle-aged."

Kim Rok Soo just blankly stared at his uncle and shrugs. Whatever. He got adopted by a weird uncle. He'll manage as long as he is fed.

"Oh boy. Why are you like this..."

Kim Rok Soo continued to ignore him.

Exasperated, Kim Seung Jong started to explain the circumstance of Rok Soo's birth. Kim Rok Soo just stared at him at disbelief.

"Wow, poor mom," was the only thing he said by the end of it.

Kim Seung Jong raised an eyebrow, "That's all? I told you about the secret of the universes and you only said that?"

Kim Rok Soo shrugs and continued eating, the food was too good to be let cold. After eating, Kim Rok Soo continues, "It's not like I can verify if what you said was true or not. So yeah, the only thing I can say is poor mom. Her husband hasn't been her husband, and her true child is a still born that got possessed by me."

Kim Seung Jong tsk-ed. "That's not it. Well, the husband part is right, but her child doesn't have a soul yet when you enter. In fact, the pregnancy was supposed to be a miscarriage early on, so a soul wasn't meant to be there."

"So, I didn't took another soul's place?"

"No. You simply finally have the chance to be born."

"Oh."

Kim Rok Soo's eyes reddened. His breath was caught as another tears gather at the corner of his eyes. Kim Seung Jong looked on awkwardly before sighing and opened his arms, "Come here kid."

Rok Soo didn't know what to do. So he slowly crawl to Kim Seung Jong's lap and let himself be hugged. Somehow, Kim Seung Jong's hug felt as warm as hus father's hug.

"That's cause your father and I came from the same being, kid."

"Just shut up and lemme enjoy this, old man."

Kim Seung Jong only chuckled.

High above the spirit world, a great being looked through the crimson star with black strings coming through it. 'His' deep dark black eyes flickered. A smudge of brown appeared on it for a second before it disappears.

"Hmm," 'He' hummed.

The silver mirror next to him flickered before a string of words appear on it.

"Is everything alright, Great Master?"

"Everything is alright, Arrodes. It feels like a little bit of humanity returned to me. Arrodes, could you tell me some good stocks to invest into?"

"Certainly, Great Master!"

As the Lord of Mysteries read Arrodes' info-dump, 'His' mind went back to when Kim Rok Soo hugged Kim Seung Jong. Some of 'His' tentacles hugged himself, but it still doesn't feel the same as what Kim Seung Jong transmitted to 'Him'.

It's been so, so long since someone else touched 'Him'. 'His' fellow countrymen has all disappeared to the annals of history with no one remembering them or their civilization.

God Almighty (Adam), Eternal Darkness (Amanises), The Anarchy (Roselle), and other Great Old Ones have fallen to deep slumber by the end of the cycle where 'He' became the Lord of Mysteries.

'He' sighed, wishing to fall into another deep slumber. But surprisingly, Kim Rok Soo slowly but surely became a stable anchor for 'Him'. Right now, what worried 'Him' was the future calamity in this world. When the time comes, perhaps 'He' will have to spread the accumulated beyonder characteristics to normal people just so they could survive.

Yes, 'He' also needs to built some shelters for the humans to live in. Kim Rok Soo will be sad if he was the only human left after all.

Chapter 8

Falling 

“I am sorry Soo Hyun, I went too far. I know you are still sick. Forgive me.” Please rest. Seon Yul lips whispered to her ears and touched her cheeks gently while stepping back from her slowly. He then walked away. 

Soo Hyun stood there for a minute or two like she is at a crossroads. Time is standing still. What the hell just happened? In her mind she is saying these words. She was shaking. Is this all but a dream? Is this even real? Her thoughts betray her. This is real whether she admits it or not. Whether she likes it or not. 

Perhaps Seon Yul went too far to finally confess his real feelings for her. He is impatient and never was able to wait even when he was young. He can’t wait for his gifts to be opened on his birthday. He can’t wait for his parents to come home. He wasn’t able to wait for his revenge. He went too far and perhaps he thought, this is payback. He can never have what he truly wanted or that maybe it is already a lost cause. She is a lost cause. 

He sighs and he remembers this is his last week on volunteer duty and partly that’s one of the reasons why he rushed things with her. He doesn’t want to go back to his real work without knowing what she felt or knowing what he truly feels and express it. Seon Yul decided it is time to go back to his real world- the hospital. The 3 days he had left were in complete agony as he and Soo Hyun barely talked and rarely had eye contact. She is up and about now. He is relieved she is healthy again but she looks at her differently and is conscious towards him. She is very uncomfortable with him and he doesn’t like it at all. He feels if this is the price of his “feelings” then he would rather stay as a friend or nothing at all. He cannot afford to be a stranger again to Soo Hyun. That is how much he loves her and even he can’t believe how much he has fallen. 

Dear Soo Hyun, 

I am terribly sorry for what happened 3 nights ago. It wasn’t planned but I meant every word. I don’t want to force you on to something you are not ok or ready for but I am not sorry for saying how I truly feel. I don’t know when my feelings towards you changed. All I know is even when I was taking a revenge on you, I never truly wanted to hurt you. I did want to punish you but I also punished myself. I was obsessed with my revenge on you. Yet, you always amaze me with how you respond to each of my painful act towards you. It annoyed me and scared me all the same. Was the hate I felt towards you actually love? I asked myself many times already. When I saved your Mom, when I saved you, when you were in danger, I was willing to die for you. It was a strange feeling. The truth is, I wanted to confess when we went to the tree of “hope and wishes” as you called it but you were ready to bid me goodbye and you were smiling. It hurt a bit that you were saying goodbye and I believed you that its the right thing to do even if I don’t want to part really…from you. I said to you that “yes you killed me when you killed my Father…but you brought me back to life when you showed me you truly cared for me one way or another”. You are my weakness and my strength. I am numb with pain, just like you but what I feel for you is real. I know the Gods must have done this to punish us but I don’t care. However, I care about you. I care about you more than anything and that I would never force you to be or to feel something you don’t want to or have. You are right. I know you will always do the right thing and by choosing not to love me back is the right thing to do. As always, you are right. I want us to be ok. I don’t you looking at me like I am wounded. I am not a victim of your doing or of love. I chose this life. I chose to love you even if it is forbidden in the eyes of many and yours. I am leaving the orphanage not with a heavy heart but with gentle one. I am contented with adoring and loving your from afar and will do it as long as I can. I wish you all the happiness in the world and I truly want you to be happy. Please take good care of yourself. I am ok please don’t worry about me.

Soo Hyun was shaking when she was reading his letter. She was crying at the thought of his real feelings towards her. She never knew he felt this way and never knew it could hurt her like this. She feels he is saying goodbye, for good. 

Seon Yul left so early that Soo Hyun wasn’t able to see him. He meant for it to be that way. He can’t look at her and not touch her again. Her face, her lips and her skin made him feel butterflies and pure magic, the thought of those alone send shiver through his spine. He smiles and nods, and smiles again acting like a school boy in love. Yet Seon Yul knew, the reality is fast approaching and he is going back to where he belongs. Perhaps it is too much to ask of her and of his life. He was given another chance at life. Why would he be greedy to ask for more? 

Weeks has passed and both Soo Hyun and Seon Yul tried their best to move on and do their daily routine like nothing ever happened. Seon Yul got the highest score in their exam and is contemplating where to get his short course degree on Cardiology. His choices are Japan, Germany and India. Yoo Ra chose Germany and Soo Jin chose Japan. Initially, Seon Yul choses India. 

Soo Hyun has a another work now. She is back teaching at a University. She missed teaching college students. She was offered to teach graduate school, too but opted to decline for now to spend more time with her mother and the orphanage. With each passing day, Soo Hyun remembers Seon Yul. Actually she misses him but won’t admit it, ever.  

Soo Hyun spent sleepless nights thinking about Seon Yul. How is he? She thought and then brushes off her concerns. She looked at her Mom and tells herself, she did the right thing. Love is not her priority nor her happiness. She believes when her son died so was her heart and happiness. One sunny morning, Soo Hyun was combing her mother’s hair when she asked Soo Hyun about Seon Yul. “That handsome boy, where is he now? He hasn’t visited me again”. Soo Hyun laughed and answered, “Who, Seon Yul? You got great eyes, Mom but sadly, he won’t come again”. Why is that, she replied. Because I hurt him enough, he deserves better”.  Soo Hyuns Mom might be sick but from time to time, she is well and back to her senses. She uttered these words to he daughter “That boy looked at you like you are his saving grace. That boy was always alone and lonely when eating at our restaurant. The only time I saw him smile was when he told me he was waiting for a friend that didn’t come, and I guess that was you. Don’t be so hard on him”. Soo Hyun was shocked to hear those words and her mothers memory of those years. But like all dementia cases in the world, it doesn’t last long. She then looks for her grandson and cries again believing he just left but never gone. Soo Hyun hugged her tightly and hush her , gave her medicines and waited for her to sleep. 

Soo Hyun tooked the courage the next day to call Seon Yul. His phone rang but nobody answered. Seon Yul, Yoo Ra and Soo jin were out partying, doing KTV and drinking. Its their last weekend together before their short course training abroad. Yoo Ra saw Seon Yul’s phone renging and saw the name “Soo Hyun”. At first she didn’t mind it but by the 3rd call, she answered it. 

Hello? Yoo Ra answered. She is somehow tipsy already.

Umm.. Im sorry, is this Dr. Seon Yul’s phone number? 

Yes, it is. Hi Dr. Soo Hyun, its Yoo Ra. How are you? 

I am fine and you? 

I am fine, too. We are fine actually. Sorry we are out and its kinda rowdy in here…at the bar. 

Are you celebrating? 

Yes because we will go abroad, finally. It always our dream. 

What? 

We are leaving in 2 days. Seon Yul and I will go to Germany. 

I see. I am sorry to intrude tonight. Please enjoy your party. Goodbye. 

Soo Hyun hang up the phone almost immediatelh. Her heart was beating so fast and she was nervous. She was feeling a lot of tension. She was feeling angry and sad. Is she jealous?. He is leaving? With her? Abroad? 

Seon Yul came back to the room and saw Yoo ra putting his phone down. He asked what she did to his phone and she told her “She called”. Seon Yul rushed to his phone and checked it. Then, he put it down again and breathe heavily and deep. “It doesn’t matter” he says. 

What did she say? 

I told her we were leaving. You and I. She hang up the phone immediately. 

Soo Jin intervened and said “You silly girl. You shouldn’t have done that”. 

It is ok. It doesn’t matter anymore anyway. I have moved on. She should, too for the good of everyone. 

Soo Jin went over to Seon Yul and asked him “you are not running way , are you?” You spent so much time chasing her and now you are running away? 

I am not running away. I am moving on…from the past, from her. This is the right thing to do. She would do the same. I am just following what she wanted. 

At the airport, Seon Yul is waiting for Yoo ra , she is late. Seon Yul is close to irritation the she doesn’t answer his calls. It is boarding time already. “Where is she?” Just when he was about to call all her again, she poked at him and said “Im here haha” Seon Yul rarely gets angry but this time he is actually. “What the hell is wrong with you? We are leaving now!”. 

Alright. Don’t freaking be mad now. I had a good reason. 

And what would that be? 

HER. 

Yoo Ra pointed at someone behind Seon Yul’s back. 

HER is SOO HYUN. She is dressed in white coat and inside a lavender turtle neck. She is so beautiful, he thought. 

Listen, I am gonna check in. I am going to Luxemberg instead, Seon Yul. 

Seon Yul is not listening at all. 

Yoo ra smacked his head and said “Hello, I haven’t heard the word Thank you yet, your Highness”. 

What? I…don’t understand. Seon Yul replied. 

I’ll be at luxemberg and you will stay at Birkenfield, still. I am not gonna be the 3rd wheel, ok?. She said that laughing and winking at both Seon Yul and Soo Hyun and walking away to check in her baggages. 

What are you doing here? I don’t understand. How did you know about our flight? 

Yoo ra told me. 

She did? 

Yes. 

She likes you, you know that’s why she did it. She loves you. 

And I already told you my answer about that. Are you here to talk about her? 

“NO”. Soo Hyun stepped forward to him, closer. I am here to talk about US. 

Seon Yul look at his watch and said “I am leaving in a bit, you have to talk a little faster”

Soo Hyun is sighing and catching her breath," YOU left without saying goodbye at the orphanage". 

I wrote you a letter. 

I read it. 

So, therefore, I said goodbye. 

Will you stay this time?

I don’t have a reason to stay. 

But if I asked, will you stay? 

NO, I won’t. Seon Yul is resisting to smile. He knows why she is doing this. She is teasing her. He added “You know I will be back after 5 weeks” 

That’s why I asked”, Soo Hyun replied with a smile, too. “I will wait for you then… to come back” 

Whatever for? Why? He asked back. 

Hmmmm...I’d like to date you. So I can take you out for lunch or dinner, or maybe breakfast? She is rumbling her words and she is so damn nervous. 

Butterflies felt all over Seon Yul’s body upon hearing those words. He is grinning from ear to ear. 

Hmmm…am I late, already Seon Yul? 

You have the worse timing ever, Soo Hyun. 

Can we keep this a secret for awhile? 

We will be living a lie, Soo Hyun 

But…its just that…what matters is you and I…for now 

Seon Yul wants to hug her so bad and yet he is still unsure. “Soo Hyun, you don’t have to do this, you know. I am not running away from you..I understand your not”… Unable to finish his sentence, Soo Hyun rushed towards him and hugged Seon Yul abruptly. Soo Hyun is so tender and soft. Seon Yul feels the world is coming to an end but he doesn't care if this is the last feeling he will ever get. The 1st time ever , they hugged. She whispered in his ear, “I know but I want to. I don’t yet know what my true feelings for you but I am ready to try, if you still have me”. I’m sorry”

Now she is the one in his ear. Seon Yul felt dizzy and time stood still for both of them. Is she gonna kiss me? Seon Yul in his loud thoughts. Then Soo Hyun smirked and did a step back and said “it is payback for what you did do me last time”. 

Both laughed crazily. 

Hey, crazy love birds, sorry but unless we have our own plane then we can delay but we don’t! Yoo Ra is pissed off at them already

I have to go.. There is no turning back now? Are you sure? 

Yes, I am sure, Seon Yul. 

Then, I will come back for you. Wait for me then. He moved closer to her and held her hand. He caressed her cheeks and God knows he wanted to kiss her right there and take her…in the lips but he restrained,still. Softly he grabbed her face, moved his lips closer to hers and breathe into her but moved his lips and kissed her forehead instead like she is the most precious thing in the world to him. 

She is.

Walking away now, God he misses her already. He is the happiest that he’s ever been and he looked back and semi- shouted 

I’ll call you when we landed. 

I’ll wait, she responded.

My favorite K-Drama Couples 2023- Spring 2024

NOTE: I tried to include 2022 but my list got too long :)

Moving (Bong-Seok & Hee-Soo, Joo-Won & Hye-Won & Doo-Shik & Mi-Hyun): It's very obvious by this list how much I love this drama and how many blorbo-from-my-shows it created for me. And I know I'm only reviewing couples, but I was blown away by this drama. I don't even LIKE superhero shows, but I made an exception for this one and I'm so glad I did. If you like character development and plays on good vs. evil, I highly rec this! Bong-Seok and Hee-Soo are one of my favorite couples EVER and I loved the softness and epic romance of Joo-Won & Hye-Won. (And we all know that scene at the rainy window with Bong-Seok and Hee-Soo). These couples are really EVERYTHING.

Tale of the Nine Tailed: 1938 (Lee-rang & Yeo-Hee): This is the only time I've ever watched a season two and liked it better than season one. It's probably because it featured my favorite tragic half fox Lee Rang and gave him a love line with a mermaid. The two are SO sweet together---SOB!

Tell me That You Love Me (Mo-Eun & Jin-Woo): Wow. Maybe one of the softest couples I've ever seen in existence. Just watching them together was like a warm blanket in front of a cozy fireplace. I didn't like the ending choice which is a shame, but the drama was super well done and I still think people should watch it. There is also a very cute high school couple too!

The Eighth Sense (Jae-Won & Ji Hyun): not to be dramatic (just kidding!) this is the best bl kdrama I've ever seen. Literally this is it! I don't even want to tell you about the couple because I want you to just watch it! I'm dying for the writer to make another one because we need more queer media like this one!

Crash Course In Romance (Haeng-Seon & Chi-Yeol): Give me a noona romance featuring a man who has not felt warmth in 1000 years (ok not literally but this dude needs to have a warm meal made by an amazing lady!) This drama fell apart at the end (this seems to be a theme this year) but the couple makes it worth watching.

King The Land (Gu-Won & Sa-Rang): If you're looking for a low stakes, totally fluffy, rom com with TONS of chemistry (featuring MY BIAS!), King the Land is for you. Amazing skinship, kisses and just like a really fun duo to watch. Plot? Not so much but there are a billion good moments-- just look at the tags: They are full of cuteness.

Love After Divorce Season 4 (Benita & Jerome): Listen, I know I'm cheating by putting a reality tv show on this list but if you're in the mood for one, I highly recommend this season (it's on Netflix). Benita and Jerome will steal your heart and they are still together! I'm rooting for them. <3

See you in my 19th Life (Ji-Eum & Seo-Ha, Da-Hoon & Cho-Won): My bias Shin Hye Sun kills it in this drama featuring past life romance. Honestly it's not fair because this drama is totally my vibe so I'm obviously going to love the mains. But when a drama gives you more than one love line and they are both interesting and lovely?? Chef's Kiss!

Dr. Slump (Jeong-Woo & Ha-Neul): This drama TOTALLY fell apart at the end and left us all very disappointed, but that's not because our leads weren't a perfect couple! They bonded over mental illness and even took their meds together. Communication: check. Comfort/Healing: check. Chemistry: check!

The Story of Park's Marriage Contract (Yun-Woo & Tae-Ha). You probably don't know this but I've been following Bae In Hyuk's career since we was in silly little web dramas. Seeing him as a lead is really wild! To be fair, he's not nearly the actor that Lee Se Young is, but do we care about that when there's a time slip romance drama featuring a historical lady who's been thrown into the future and has to fake marry someone who looks just like her de*d husband for reasons??

So my brain is at it again...

And this time it wanted to inform me that it would be very interesting with an amnesia fic where Ga On loses his memories but can still detect emotions related to those memories. Just imagine the possibilities.

Quick disclaimer: I'm sure there are several amnesia fics in the fandom already — maybe even one exactly like this — but I haven't read them so I'm just going to tell you all about it anyway because, to me, it's a new idea xD

Anyhow.

Imagine him waking up at the hospital, sometime during the later half of the drama (maybe he got shot instead of Soo Hyun and complications led to him getting memory loss — idk, let's handwave it for the sake of the scenario), and he's met by Soo Hyun and Professor Min. And while Ga On can't say what their names are, he can tell that he knows them. He can't access the memories but he feels the affection and the trust and accepts that they must have been a part of his life previously. And, understandably, they become the rocks he clings to because everything is new and confusing. He can still remember how to do basic things — he could probably even drive if they put him inside a car — but not who he is.

And Soo Hyun and Professor Min are going to have a rough time explaining some of it, no doubt.

Like, imagine the pain when Ga On asks where his parents are and even before Soo Hyun or Professor Min say anything, Ga On feels a rush of grief and anger. Because he doesn't remember them dying, but his body remembers the anguish of that tragedy all the same.

Some things are more humourous, though. Like: "... why is my face plastered all over the city? Am I famous?" Ga On would be so confused because the emotions he feels as he sees billboards with his own face aren't necessarily good ones. He mostly feels embarrassed and self-conscious. But he is kind of proud when he hears that he's a judge. It must mean he's smart.

Anyhow. The real fun part begins when Soo Hyun brings Ga On back to his apartment and Ga On is like: "Yeah, this is familiar." But he can also tell that, no, it's not right. It's not home. It feels cold and stale, as if he's not really living there anymore. And he doesn't understand why. Because, according to Soo Hyun, he's been doing so since he was a kid. But Ga On just shrugs his confusion off because, all things considered, he trusts Soo Hyun more than his own memory.

Also, imagine when he asks Soo Hyun if he has a girlfriend and she looks stunned, then awkward, then shy, and starts giving some mumbled response that no, he doesn't — at least not that she knows of. And Ga On has an "oh" moment because her behaviour makes it very clear that she'd want to be that girlfriend. But then he'd get confused because what he feels when he looks at her is a lot of warmth and love, sure, but not that kind of love.

Because this Ga On doesn't have years of memories to confuse him and muddle their relationship — he just feels the emotions. And, from his currently pretty objective point of view, it doesn't seem like romantic love.

He may love Yoon Soo Hyun very much, but he's not in love with her.

He doesn't tell her that, of course, because that would be rude, but he definitely makes a mental note to be careful with how he acts around her because he doesn't want to accidentally lead her on.

And it continues like that, with Ga On trying to navigate the world with nothing but emotions to go on. Which, obviously, will sometimes become very overwhelming for him, but he's stubborn so he'd still try and, of course, do his best to recover his memories. And some start to trickle in eventually, but it mostly old ones that are very deeply ingrained in his psyche.

Eventually, Professor Min decides to bring Ga On to the Supreme Court. Not to make him go back to work or anything — that would probably be disastrous considering the state Ga On is in — but to see if any of it can jog Ga On's memory. And sure, Ga On can tell that he's been in his office before and he can tell that he's met Jin Joo before — he feels both intimidated and bewildered by her — but nothing really stands out. All of it is just like ghostly silhouettes of a former life he knows he must have had but can't see clearly.

And then he meets Yo Han.

Just sees him from afar at first — Yo Han isn't even looking in Ga On's direction — but the familiarity still hits Ga On like a freight train. That is someone he knows as instinctively as he knew Soo Hyun and Professor Min. And before Ga On can really think things through, he just walks up to Yo Han because, clearly, this man is important. Ga On can tell that this man is important because his heart starts racing, his breaths go shallow, and he's suddenly overwhelmed by such a myriad of confusing and conflicting emotions he can't even sort them out. Some are negative — even outright alarming — but there's also joy and fondness and longing.

Which just makes him even more confused when Professor Min catches up and explains that this is Ga On's boss. And said boss looks at Ga On with what he first thinks is bland indifference. But the longer he stands there — and listens to Professor Min tersely explaining what they're doing there to Yo Han with half an ear — Ga On realises that, no, that's not indifference. There's something underneath it — a spark of something else he can't name but can definitely tell means something. And he desperately wants to know what that something is. He wants to scratch at it until he can peel away the layer of indifference hiding it from sight.

He needs to know.

But then, not long after that thought has crossed his mind, Ga On is reminded of the fact that this is, apparently, his boss. His male boss. And Ga On really shouldn't be feeling any of the things he's feeling. But, at the same time, he can't just ignore it. Because this is what a connection should feel like.

He might not have a girlfriend but, clearly, he has someone he's in love with.

And that's a little daunting, not to mention disorienting. Because Yo Han doesn't look approachable at all, and there is also a lot of frustration and anger mixed in with the much happier emotions when Ga On looks at Yo Han. There's just so much. And Ga On is confused because he can't really see himself falling in love with the man in front of him. Yo Han doesn't look like a very kind man.

And then, suddenly, Ga On realises that he has no idea if Yo Han knows that Ga On is in love with him. Maybe they're even a couple? It sure seems like they could be considering the attachment Ga On feels. He gets impulses to be physical in a way he hasn't with anyone else he's met thus far. He felt comfort hugging Soo Hyun, sure, but this is something else entirely. This is a need burning inside of him, urging him to draw closer to Yo Han.

He kind of wants to kiss Yo Han, right there in the corridors of the Supreme Court.

But Ga On can't be sure because Yo Han isn't exactly easy to read and aside from that spark of something when he looks at Ga On, Yo Han is impenetrable. And, if they were a couple, wouldn't Yo Han have insisted on finding Ga On earlier? Even if they have some sort of secret relationship that Soo Hyun clearly isn't aware of? Shouldn't Yo Han look more worried?

So maybe they're not together? And Ga On is just hopelessly in love with his boss? A boss who, judging by the way he looks at Ga On, might not even like Ga On.

Whichever it might be, Ga On realises he has to find out. His old memories are already trickling in, slowly but surely, but they're all of Soo Hyun and Ga On's parents and stuff that happened ages ago. And Ga On wants to know more about his life now. He wants to know more about Yo Han.

And he desperately needs to know if his feelings are reciprocated.

Even if it will definitely break his heart if he finds out that they're not.

...

SO YEAH.

It would be quite fun, wouldn't it? If I can find a way to make the story relatively short, I might just write it. Because I'm really intrigued by the concept of Ga On still having the emotions attached to the memories, but not the memories themselves. So he'll remember being both frustrated by and attracted to Yo Han. But without all the memories and years of influence from Professor Min and Soo Hyun fresh in mind, he wouldn't understand the negative emotions as much, nor put as much weight on them.

And it would be interesting to see how that would change their dynamic.

Because some of Ga On's behaviour would still be the same — he'd still be stubborn, righteous, a bit awkward etc. — but he'd also be freer. And a lot freer to act.

So that would be interesting, I think?

And now my brain will hopefully let go of this story and let me focus on other things for a while

Skizji was discussing the best way to do Chan’s makeup for his Wolfgang performance. It was towards the end of the year and one of their biggest performances yet, making or breaking the end of their year and public view as a group. Needless to say, Chan as the leader was scared shitless about how it could go.

It all had to be perfect. The performance, the styling, the facial expressions, the lighting, the music… and especially the makeup. Skizji spent hours trying to figure out the best way to compliment his makeup to his clothing style. That is, having almost no clothes at all.. at least on his torso.

He was wearing an open wolf hair coat that hung from his shoulders, a single chain across the top at his chest to hold it together. Since his entire torso would be exposed, it needed some work to be done on it. They had to practice it now before the actual day of.

“Chan, we were thinking some sort of lightning strikes across the center of your abdomen for it to reflect with the light on the stage” A staff member suggested to a frustrated Chan.

“No that won’t look good. Lightning has nothing to do with the performance.” Chan said sternly.

The kids were in the breakroom along with the staff and Chan, listening to them bicker back and forth about what would look good and what wouldn’t.

“Yes, but it may be the best thing to do considering we won’t have too much time that day and it can’t be something too intricate in case-“

“No. It just doesn’t fit it. Can’t we try something like wolves eyes or fur or something?!!” Chan suggested.

“That’s too intricate and detailed, it just wouldn’t work out in the moment” Skizji tried their best to explain the situation to Chan, but his frustration and stress was getting the best of his attitude at the moment.

Staff sighed and looked to one another. “Well, we have a few days before the performance. Maybe you all can discuss what may or may not look best for the day of” Skizji said to nobody in particular. They quietly exited the room as Chan sighed and went to sit down on the floor.

The rest of the members just looked at each other in awkward silence, unsure of what to really say. They were dispersed around the room on couches, the floor, and really on top of one another. They just silently stared at Chan.

“So… no lightning huh” Han said, earning a smack to the arm from Lee Know.

“What are we even gonna do..” Chan said while grabbing at his hair.

“Hey there’s, like, a week left until the show. There’s plenty of time to figure something out” Changbin said.

“It just needs to be good, better than good” Chan said.

“It’ll be good just give yourself time to think it over and find the best choice-“

“There isn’t time is the problem. This show is one of our biggest and it’ll bite us in the ass soon if we don’t figure out the makeup for my very important stage part and-“

“Okay. Fine. Then let us do it” Seungmin said, standing up off the couch.

“What?”

“You heard skizji, they said to let us pick something out, so let us! Hyunjin’s an artist, there may be actual potential there” Seungmin suggested.

“I’m not guaranteeing anything but I can try my best” An eager Hyunjin said.

“No that’s stupid. You guys don’t even know what you’ll make, there’s no point-“

“Oh shut up just take the damn shirt off and let us try” Lee Know told Chan.

“No. It’s dumb and gonna waste time and materials.”

“You’re dumb and wasting time and your voice. Come on” Seungmin said to the members as they got up and made their way over to Chan on the floor. IN went ahead and got a towel and some tissues while Hyunjin got the body paints.

“NO! They said DISCUSS what may look best, not to actually do it.” Chan said while scooting back away from them.

“Guuuys” Felix said while holding a long black strip of cloth, “they cut this off a tank top a while ago. I’m thinking blindfold” he said smirking.

“Absolutely not. What. No, Lix” Chan laughed at his idea but was getting gradually more annoyed by the members’ commitment to actually doing this, “put all the stuff away because it’s not happeni-“

Changbin and Lee Know suddenly jumped at Chan’s arms, each grabbing one wrist and stretching it out all the way to the side. Despite Chan’s efforts to keep them by his side, Bin and Minho were eventually sat comfortably on his wrists.

“You don’t want me to see or move?!” Chan said, irritated, “how bad is the makeup gonna turn out?!”

“Hey! That’s mean. We haven’t even started” Minho said with a quick scribble to his side.

“DOhon’t, quihit asshole”

“Oooh this is bad for you Chan” Bin giggled.

“Wait no I think this is a bad idea, let me up, please” Chan began to look nervous after Minho reminded him of his extreme sensitivity around his torso, especially with brushes. He tried to wiggle his way away or pull his wrists back but nothing was working.

“Oh my God. Fine. Just do the damn makeup” Chan said while trying to look annoyed when in reality he was nervous as shit anticipating what he knew was gonna be a long and loud laughing fit.

Han went up behind him unexpectedly and put the black strip around his eyes.

“There we go” he pat his head lovingly.

Hyunjin took a seat on Chan’s waist while the rest of the members sat around his torso area, paints ready and brushes in hand.

“Okay so, first step of the artistic process is sketching. I brought this black graphite chalk thingy to help us since it’s easy to draw on skin with. We could try to sketch out a rough idea” Hyunjin spoke.

“CHALK?! Will that not hurt..?” Chan said.

“No it won’t just let us do the work, relax and take this time to nap or something”

That’s gonna be really hard.. Chan thought, terrified.

Each member grabbed a piece of the graphite and got to work. Bin and Minho, still sat on his wrists, began to trace vines from his wrist down to his shoulders. Chan immediately tensed up and made fists.

“Yah! His veins are popping!” Lino laughed, “I could literally just trace these” he said as he went over his veins with the chalk.

“QUIHIT” Chan tried to pull at his arm as the leaned the opposite direction of Lino’s attack, later leaning in his direction as Changbin began to scribble the chalk right where his elbow met his underarm.

“STOP STOHOP” Chan yelled in a futile attempt to keep a straight face.

The members all looked at each other with the same idea in mind. Stressed nervous Chan + him being trapped and blindfolded + them having painthrushes and all the time in the world = Destressing Chan time.

“Hey Chan hey Chan how does this feel” Seungmin said as he traced down straight down his torso from his neck to his bellybutton.

The entire 5 second trip was excruciating.

“NAHAO WAIT SEUNGMIN STOHOP HEHAAHA” Chan laughed loudly while kicking at the floor behind Hyunjin. It didn’t help that Seungmin dragged the chalk slowly and at times would vibrate it into his abs.

“Oooo let’s trace the abs so we know what we’re working around” Felix said mischievously. He was one of the few that knew of Chan’s extreme sensitivity around his sides and chest area, and was determined to not let this moment go to waste.

“Fehehelix?!?!” Chan said, betrayed.

“Yes?” Felix said as he grabbed two bits of the chalk and began tracing around his abs.

“QUIHIT STOHop stop PLEHEASE I won’t live throhohough this AHA” Chan yelled out.

“Ooo Felix I think you messed up a bit on this part, here I brought a towel” IN said, handing Lix a small white towel he’s brought along with a cup of water to clean up any errors. The towel was soft yet had a spiky-rough texture… perfect.

“Thank you IN! I actually did mess up around his sides a bit didn’t I…”

“YOU DIHIDN’T EVEN DRAW ON MY SIDES YEHET?! Oh my GOHOD LEE KNOW QUIHIHIT, AAAHH” Chan screamed as Lee Know got a little too close to his underarm and he scrunched up his neck and legs.

“HAHAHA” Lee Know laughed at him, “look at him kicking awww” he cooed.

Meanwhile Lix was wetting a corner of the towel and spinning it around for it to have a sort of corner to it. While Chan was focused on his arms, Felix went ahead and dug the towel into his lower ribs and shook it back and forth.

“NeaAHAHAHAHA FEAHAHAHA FELAHAHA NOOAHA” Chan screamed.

He tried to turn his torso the other way until Hyunjin began to scribble his fingers on his other side and ribs.

“HYUAHAHA NO PLEHEASE STOHOAHAAPAHA” He threw his head back.

Han, sat behind Chan’s head, lifted it and put it in his lap as he sat criss cross under it. He then began to flutter his fingers across the top of Chan’s shoulders and collarbones, driving him insane.

“EEAAHAHA NOOAHAhaha plehease eeEAAHAHaha” He squealed as he tried to shake the feeling off his chest.

“Guys, this is crucial to the artistic process. We all must draw the same design at the same time. I will do it first to demonstrate” Hyunjin said, grabbing some chalk, “this is called ‘stipling’ and it’s used to make kinds of abstract paintings. It takes forever since it’s a lot of tiny dots, but we could all try it for practice!”

“NOHOHO DO NOHOT TRY IT” Chan begged, “what design are youho guys even DOHAHAHING?!”

“Oh we’re still on a specific design? I just kinda hoped it’d look good in the end to be honest” Seungmin said.

“WHAT?! AHAHAA MINHO” Chan yelled as Lino, again, attacked his underarm.

“Okay let me demonstrate first” Hyunjin said. He grabbed a chalk and began to tap tap tap it around Chan’s bellybutton, making sure to vibrate it in certain spots.

“Youho are awful” Chan said. While it wasn’t that bad yet, the feeling of something coming down onto his stomach over and over again had his nerves hypersensitive, and the fact that they were all gonna be doing it made it 10x better worse.

“See? Easy. Everyone get to work!” Hyunjin clapped.

At once, the 7 began to tap on some part of Chan’s torso. Arms, neck, collarbones, abs, sides, anywhere and everywhere.

While the feeling in itself wouldn’t have been terrible had the kids done it normally, this wasn’t the case since Seungmin chose to dig the chalk into the spaces between his ribs while IN mischievously grabbed 2 and tazed his sides with them. Not to mention the rest of the members sneaking their wiggling fingers onto the canvas.

“NAAHAHAHA PLEHEASE GUYS GUHUHUYS I CAHEHE SHIHIHIT” Chan loudly laughed his beautiful laugh as the attack went on.

“Ay, watch that language” Felix said as he squeezed his hips.

“Okay my artists I think we’re ready for the next step” Hyunjin clapped his hands together.

Chan was already panting hard, tears formed and his torso had its nerves on fire. He wasn’t sure how he’d survive actual brushes.

“Waihit guys no let’s leave the rest for ahanother dahay” he tried to say sternly but instead came out all giggly and embarassed.

“Awww is he just now realizing he can’t take it” Han teased.

“Noho no no there’s still so much to do how about we work on thahat first and then-“

“Mmm no. There’s time. Later. Now you suffer” Hyunjin said matter-a-factly as he handed each member a different brush from the pack staff had handed him. Some were long and rectangular, others were softer and more flimsy, some were super long and thin… perfect!!

“I brought the makeup brushes too, they’re not made for body paint but we could use power to do shading!” IN suggested.

“That’s an amazing idea IN” Felix clapped.

“Okahay finish up…” Chan whispered.

“Patience patience” Lee Know said as he wiggled a makeup brush on his nose. Chan yelped and shook his head side to side, Changbin giggling at him.

“S- stohop! MINHOHO!”

“Sorry you’re so funny”

Chan jokingly went to bite at the makeup brush and Lino began to scribble it around his neck and collarbones.

“NAAHHA WAIT WAHAIF NEEAHA HAHAEEA EHAHEHEAHA” Chan scrunched up and shook his chest trying to get the awesome awful feeling of feathery brushes off of it.

The rest of the members got to work too. Since they weren’t focused on a particular design and just chose whatever color came to mind first, it gave lots of chance to tease at Chan.

Felix simply dipped his long thin brush in the water and began to swivel it inside and around Chan’s belly button. Hyunjin took two large brushes and used the ends of them to vibrate between Chan’s upper ribs. Seungmin and IN both had small fan brushes, which they used to lightly drag around his sides and abs with lots of paint.

“ITS COHOHOLD AHAAHAHA”

Chan arched his back and laughed loudly as there was a mix of feelings on his torso. Cold wet paint, water, little and big brushes, he felt overstimulated in every way possible… yet distracted from all his prior worries and nerves.

“PLEHEHEASE” he begged, “I CAHAN- HAHAHEHEHEA AHAHA” tears ran down his neck as Lee Know and Changbin began to scribble at his underarms with the bigger brushes.

“NOOOOAHAAHA GET OHOHOFF QUIT ITEAAHH AAAHA AAAAAAHHHHHH”

“Can you stop moving I’m trying to draw a tree branch swirling around your abs” Seungmin said.

“GO FAHASTERAHAAHA”

“I MESSED UP. Oh my God Chan now I have to start over. Thanks a lot” Seungmin said, jokingly annoyed.

“IM SOHORRY PLEHEHAAE DON’T” Chan screamed as he heard Seungmin grab the towel and pass it roughly across the expanse of his stomach.

“NOOOOAHAHAHAHAHA AAAAHHH”

Chan jerked his head side to side with the widest smile plastered on his face, his honey like laughter filling the room as his members stared at him in awe. They hadn’t seen their leader so laid back and carefree for a while with all their work recently, so it was safe to say they all felt he was in for some well needed rest.

“The sun and moon are always nice. Lix, help me paint them?” Han looked to Felix as he pointed at Chan’s chest, his death spot.

“NOHOHO. DO NOHOT DO WHAT I THIHINK YOU’RE GONNA DOHO PLEAAASE FUCK FUHUCK”

Han and Lix grabbed some rectangular long brushes and got to work swirling circles on his chest and filling them in excruciatingly slow.

“NAHAHAHA HEHEHAH OH MYGOHohohod” Chan laughed deeply.

They continued to fill in the circles they made, one bright yellow and one gray.

“Hey, this is a sky isn’t it? We’re gonna need some stars” Lix said.

“NOHO! NO YOU DON’T! FEHELIX IM SEHERIOUS”

“So am I!! It’ll look ugly!” Felix teased as he grabbed a small brush and began drawing tiny stars across his collarbone.

“AAAAAHHHHHHHH” Chan screamed as the feeling of tiny bristles attacked his sensitive upper chest area. It felt like thousands of tiny feathers were getting at him. Felix and Han then saw it fit to do some shading with powdered makeup, making his situation even better worse. Not to mention the mixture of all other things on his body already.

“I CAHA- I CAHAahahan’t plehehease-“

“Guys I think we’re breaking him” IN said while painting a weird looking smiley face on his side.

Lee Know laughed loudly at Chan’s red face and teased him for being literally unable to form any coherent words. It was true that it got worse as time went on, he couldn’t even be poked now without screaming.

“I think our work here is done” Hyunjin said while lifting himself off Chan’s lap. Everyone lifted themselves up off the floor, except Changbin who was concerned as to why Chan was laid so still and decided to pull his arm out to the side and attack his top ribs to check for life.

“STOAHAP BIN FUHUCK” Chan yelled.

“Yep he’s fine”

Chan removed his blindfold quickly and crossed his arms in an X form across his torso and curled into a giggling ball on the floor. Tears fell from his chin onto the ground as Felix kneeled behind him and massaged his shoulders.

“I cahant even- I cahan’g think strahahaight”

“Well that was kinda the point Chan” Han said laughing, “you needed to chill out. You’re welcome~” he said, scribbling his hand across his hip.

Chan swat at him. “Youho guys could have KIHILLED ME”

“But we didn’t! And look at our art” Hyunjin said while bringing a mirror over to a curled up Chan.

He looked at himself in it first and realized he hadn’t seen himself smile that way in weeks. He has crinkles next to his eyes along with the deepest dimples. His cheeks were rosy and wet from the tears while his hair was sopped over to the side, his eyes glinting with joy.

He then looked down at his torso. It was… a mess, to say the least. A large sun and moon on his chest, fandom smiley faces over his sides. A tree branch..? Across the center of his stomach, and random black chalk markings around his abs and arms. His arms also had some sort of design on them he tried to make out. They swirled around and had little leaves coming off. Vines.

“Wait, vines. Vines would be the perfect makeup idea for it! It goes with the theme and wouldn’t take too long to complete before the show” Chan said with a relieved sigh.

“Bingo” Changbin said with a clap.

“Seeee? We’re helpful. And you were all whiny with your ‘nO iTs GoNnA LoOk BaD’ pouty ass” Felix teased him.

“Yeah yeah okay, thahank you” Chan said, grabbing the little towel and wiping his torso clean of paint.

“Need help?” Hyunjin asked.

“NO.” Chans eyes widened, “No thank you.”

They all laughed and went to let skizji know the plans. Vines was the perfect design idea considering it went with the outdoor Wolfgang theme, wouldn’t take too long to complete, and looked good with the clothing he’d be wearing.

Chan was still sitting on the breakroom floor cleaning himself off. His face was red as he thought back to the brushes and hands all over him. It would be a lie to say he wasn’t grateful that they cared so deeply for him and found a way to both make him laugh carefree and solve his problem all at once. It also wouldn’t be false to say he didn’t entirely enjoy the last 20 minutes.

Skizji came in a few minutes later with a smile on their faces.

“So we heard about the vine idea, we love it. It’s the perfect design choice.”

“I’m glad you guys think so too! It just seemed like it went well with the theme.”

From Spy x Family (Loid x Yor) : Pretend to be in a relationship but end of up falling in love. It's really sweet how they parent Anya.

From Futurama (Fry x Leela): Friends to lovers vibes. This ship is more nostalgic. I enjoyed the journey of these two. The finale made me cry. I still need to get around to watching the Hulu reboot.

From The Flower of Evil (Jiwon x Hyun Soo) : How many times do I have to remind you that I love you? How many times will you fall in love all over again till you admit you're in love?

The angst and the drama with this married couple is so good.

Bonus: Bladeweave (Gale x Wyll) : Two people who will easily sacrifice themselves for others see the impact of those actions through each other's eyes. How can you ask the other not to sacrifice themselves when it's all they have known. I don't know. There is something there but I don't feel the need to write their story.

I still feel bad for not picking either one on my playthrough. Maybe when Patch 7 comes out.

I actually enjoyed the final episode of Queen of Tears. Which is surprising since given how much I hated ep 15 and was lukewarm to ep 13 & 14. Ep 15 somehow broke me with how much it wanted to me accept and look past lol.

Not to say ep 16 didn't have the same need to look past things but it was somehow more acceptable. Maybe because Eun Sung was finally killed off in the first 10 minutes.

I am a bit frustrated we never really got to know the motivations of Moh Seul Hee. Just because she wanted Queen's Group doesn't seem to be enough of a reason. The woman abandoned her son at an orphanage. She killed Hae In's brother and tried to kill Hae In at the same. She then when on to play a long con game of 20+ years (also presumably never trying to kill Hae In or even Soo Cheol within that time). But my question remains to WHY.

Similarly, I am disappointed that the miscarriage was never properly addressed. Yes, Hae In remembered it and we got to see a bit more of what happened at the time but other than that nothing. I guess though with Hae In not fully remembering everything they can't really address it anyway.

Oddly, Hae In not regaining her memory in full is one thing I appreciated. Of all the things they wanted me to accept about her mysterious illness, her not getting her memory back after surgery is the most plausible. Still, I have a personal head cannon that she does regain more of her memory after time but not fully.

I do like that Hae In and Hyun Woo finally discussed what broke down their marriage (outside of the miscarriage) which was lack of communication and letting little things fester. They at least have a clear vision for where they want to go in the future. I also liked that they are taking it slow, as Hae In is still getting to know Hyun Woo.

I'm happy for them that they finally got their much wanted child. Not quite sure we needed to see Hyun Woo, years in the future visiting Hae In's grave though I do like how they always returned to Germany. Still it's one of the more normal endings for this writer out of the dramas I've watched of hers.

I know I need to calm the fuck down first but one word to describe episode 6: STRESS!!

📍I love seeing Hyun-woo and Hae-in having a...sort of second honeymoon in Germany but I couldn't really enjoy every scene because I'm stressing out at how fucking OBLIVIOUS the Hong family is like bitch y'all are surrounded by snakes and they're so complacent 😭😭😭 I mean it's not really their fault that there are opportunists who'd earn their trust first then slither their way to bite them in the ass, but I just find it ironic at how protective they are at their family business and wealth but they can't see through the REAL people who has every intention to bring them down.

📍Speaking of which, I have read a fan theory somewhere that Mo Seul-hee is the mom of Eun-seong and Da-hye. Could be, OR Grace could be Da-hye's mom considering how Grace acted towards her. But why are they so keen at bringing the Hong family down?

📍Maybe it's just me but I don't think Da-hye is that bad, I have a feeling that she'll eventually come to her senses and take Hyun-woo's side and expose Eun-seong and co.

📍My overthinker/delulu self thinks that Soo-cheol and Da-hye's baby is actually Hyun-woo and Hae-in's kid. I mean, it wasn't shown how they lost their baby...yet. So Hae-in either miscarried, or she gave birth to a still born child? But what if the child is actually alive and one of those evil bitches cooked up some shit to make it seem like Hyun-woo and Hae-in's baby died, and then that baby was registered as Soo-cheol and Da-hye's kid? I know it sounds insane, but we're only on episode 6 so more crazy shit could happen in the future episodes, you'll never know. But my normal self says I've watched too many Filipino dramas growing up (and yes, that shit happens a lot in Filo-dramas).

📍Speaking of that kid, another theory is...what if that kid is actually Eun-seong and Da-hye's? Soo-cheol is a dumbass, and again, those bitches could have manipulated that baby's DNA test result or something. Again, that's just me being an overthinker, also I hate my Filo-drama mindset.

📍Aunt Beom-ja being so concerned about Hae-in and her dad but I also appreciate the fact that she respected her niece's request to not tell anyone about her illness. I also hope that she'll be able to help Hyun-woo clear his name and uncover Seul-hee and gang's dirty little secret.

📍BUT Y'ALL KNOW WHO STRESSED THE SHIT OUT OF ME THIS EPISODE? BAEK FUCKING HYUN-WOO!!! I am so freaking annoyed that he didn't tell Hae-in about the divorce when he had the chance. He was probably worried at how Hae-in would react plus the latter was going through medical treatments so he probably didn't want to put too much stress on her, but Hae-in was bound to find out either way so...yeah I do get why he chose to keep the divorce to himself but he could have just told the truth and suck it up, and perhaps they could communicate better when it comes to issues like this.

📍One thing I noticed about Hyun-woo is that he's brave in so many ways but also a coward on one thing. I mean he talks with Hae-in about nice things and all, and he is his wife's confidante, but I don't think I've ever heard him talk the way Hae-in does, meaning he never had the balls to talk to his wife about the..."unpleasant" side of their marriage. Hae-in was able to talk to him about her illness, the last will and testament that her mom pressured her to write, and Hyun-woo didn't even think about bringing up the divorce papers.

Prior to episode 5, I really thought that Hae-in was the one who shut him out but it was actually the other way around. Wifey may seem cold and nonchalant but if there's one person she'd listen to, it's him. Perhaps he doesn't want to say something that would upset Hae-in but the point is...she's his wife, she's supposed to know what he thinks, how he feels about certain things, even the not-so-pleasant side of their relationship. I really hope that in the next episode or the episode after that he'll be able to communicate better.

📍Hae-in's mom is terrible af. Imagine blaming your own daughter for the death of your son. I mean she didn't deserve to lose a child, but it's unfair to put all the blame on Hae-in (like why?). It's not like she endangered herself on purpose, and she had the audacity to be upset when Hae-in did something nice to her in-laws? Like what is wrong with this woman? Why can't see realize her own mistakes?

📍I kind of teared up when Hae-in was telling Hyun-woo about the things the latter should do when she dies. She could die, and this show might give us a bittersweet ending but when that time comes I'd be really, really hurt. Also, Hae-in confessing that the only reason she wrote her will about Hyun-woo not getting anything should they divorce was so that she'll be allowed to marry him 😭 (just shows she fought hard for him and she'll do absolutely anything to be with him). God I hate her mom! And yes the epilogue was so cute, now we know that they have always been in-love with each other. But I guess...they need a time-out 🤷.

I Found Love (where it wasn’t supposed to be) 

Seon Yul POV 

“And I've moved further than I thought I could

But I missed you more than I thought I would

And I'll use you as a warning sign

That if you talk enough sense then you'll lose your mind

And I found love where it wasn't supposed to be

Right in front of me

Talk some sense to me” 

This is Seon Yul’s current favorite song listening to it upon arriving at their rented dorm just outside the hospital they will be studying for a short course. This is on replay button. He can’t help but feel this is his song for her and towards her. It is 1pm in Germany, and it is 8:00pm in Korea. He wasn’t able to call upon landing an hour ago since everything went fast when they were fetched by the dorm master and showed their place. He doesn’t want to be rude and all, so he just texted Soo Hyun, smiling like a teenage boy “I’m here” and I miss you already”. 

He is now sitting and wondering if he calls her since its kinda late at night 

“I don’t know exactly where this feelings of mine started for HER. When my Mother told me to stop my revenge plans years ago, God, it feels like a decade ago but still raw.  All I wanted was to ruin her and make her feel the pain I was feeling. It started with a lie, everything. It wasn’t coincidence, I planned everything and somehow, the outcome was something I didn’t anticipated. I fell in love with her not knowing it was love. They say the opposite of love is hate and I believe that’s what happened to me. I tried to move on, and moved out away from her after that fateful day I went to her book signing event. That was 6 years after and I still felt the same. I was scared but I was sure. I wanted her. I don’t want anybody else. Hells be damn. I’d be lying if I didn’t feel conflicted. She killed my Father so how I can love her? It is twisted. I know. I wish I had answers but I don’t and I don’t care. Still, I would be fine if she didn’t love me back because the last thing I wanted is to force her and hurt her. We bleed the same. Now, she is saying we should give it a shot. Now, I am more than scared that I ever was. True, I want her but do I deserve her, really? What should I do now? God, I am acting like a greenly teenager having a huge crush on a teacher. Haha She is like a strict teacher in my eyes and I always have a thing for strong older woman. It is the reason I didn’t have girlfriends really and those younger than me, I treat them as lil sisters. I was attracted to more mature woman and Soo Hyun is just perfect. She is perfect. She was my torment but now she is my savior”

Checking his phone now, thinking of calling her… he continued in his thoughts 

“When I saw her at the airport time froze. I froze! I cannot believe my eyes. Is this some joke or am I dreaming? Then she hugged me and there it made sense. It is real. Honest to God, I wanted to kiss her right then but I held back for her sake. I didn’t know if she was ready. People say Im crazy but indeed I am. Now that I have her, or shall I say, we have a chance, she didn’t say she loves me yet, or is in love with me, we will take it slow like she said. Im happiest that I’ve ever been and I don’t want this to end. This is something new and everything is uncertain but she said “yes” to a chance and Im gonna try my very best to make her happy. I am sure of my feelings, the question is, will she be able to love me back?”

Soo Hyun POV

It is 8:00pm now, and Soo Hyun was restless and nervous. Will he call? Was it true, what happened at the airport? Maybe I am dreaming, maybe its all a bad joke. She is rumbling by herself. Then, her phone rang 

“I’m here and I miss you already” 

She dropped her phone and thank goodness she is in a couch. Her heart fluttered and her stomach felt butterflies. My gosh, she said, I am acting like a teenager! What should I reply then? Should I reply? Maybe tomorrow since its late already, he needs to rest but wait, our time zone is different now, she realizes. She prepared herself a tea to calm her nerves and it allowed her to think. Think about him and what happened at the airport. 

When Yoo Ra told me they were going abroad, I was shocked and I admit, I was feeling weird. Was I jealous? I know Yoo ra likes him. But I cannot stop thinking about him since he left the orphanage and I tried to stop thinking about him but I can’t. Im too old to feel this way. He is way too young for me and I….I killed his Dad. How can he love me like that? It is crazy. He is crazy. Whats crazier? Why am I feeling this way too? I want him but I know this is wrong. Who dares love the killer of his dad? This is some punishment from the Gods! Yet, if this is a sin then I guess I am willing to take. I want to be happy and I want to move on. I want to choose life and happiness and he….he makes me happy. I don’t know why and how but he does even those years ago, when we were at odds. I cared for him a great deal already. Not as guardian but as person, as a woman, too. Seon Yul didn’t know, I called the hospital and got Yoo Ra’s contact number. I lied that it has something to do about their work at the orphanage but really it wasn’t. We talked. She said “you are both crazy for each other and so if you have any feelings for him, then go with me at the airport and say it directly to his pretty damn face! Yoo ra is great. She is feisty. She should be the one with Seon Yul but He likes me instead. He is in love with me, he said. I like him, too. I want him in my life but truly, I am not sure if this is the same love I had for my husband yet. He was the only man in my life for a long time. But, I had to give my heart a chance this time. Gosh, am I doing the right thing? We bleed the same. The song I love entitled “where is my love” the lyrics there “Don’t she know, we bleed the same” hit me when I listen to it. When he was scared, I wanted to comfort him. When I was scared, he wanted to comfort me. He is like me with all the pain, the agony and sufferings. We can heal each other. We can move on. Together, we can. 

Drinking her tea..she continued “When I saw him at the airport, for the very 1st time, I found him so handsome. My heart skipped a beat. My goodness, I was crazy and acting like a school girl in front a crush! He is like the boy next door type after all. You know the guy across the street. Very pretty, handsome but really prettier than me. Haha.. I can sense his shock and disbelief and I wanted him to feel secured that I am giving this, Us…a chance. I like him and I want him to stay in my life. I don’t know how , or when it will stop of if I will stop but for now, it is what it is. I finally admit, I like him, too. I cannot deny it anymore. 

 It is 2pm now in Germany, Seon Yul is settled and he is worried because she didn’t replied. Is she asleep already? It is after all 9pm. He was about to call it a night when his phone rang… “I am glad you are there safely. Have you eaten? Don’t forget to eat promptly.” 

Haha he laughed. She is always thinking about feeding me and still so proper in her texts! Their “feeding” moments started the very 1st time they got to know each other. They talk over food and it made Seon Yul like her all the more. Seon Yul’s eyebrow slightly raised because she didn’t say she missed him back but it is ok he said, one step at a time. Trust the process. He wanted to reply “goodnight” already since he worries she might stay late if they still talk but he has to try. The boy has to try. He misses her already and he just wanted to hear his voice. 

There were 3 rings and finally, she answered. Seeing her phone rang and his name sent shivers to Soo Hyun. She is so nervous. 

Hello? She said. Hi, he replied.  Both were smiling. 

Seon Yul held his breath and there will silence. As always, Soo Hyun, the “mature” of the two, as she says it herself and she takes pride in it, ask how is he. 

How are you? I am glad your plane landed safely, Seon Yul.

It was a good flight. How are you? 

I am good. Im about to rest. 

Oh, Im sorry , I shouldn’t have called. We can..

NO, its ok. I am glad you called. 

Butterflies felt in his stomach. She is the only one who ca make him feel that way.. So…he said, he cleared his throat. Sorry, I don’t really know what to say, I’m such a mess. Im nervous, Soo Hyun. 

She laughed and replied “I am nervous, too. We are both crazy”. 

We are hahaha 

Have you eaten? You haven’t answered me yet. 

Do you miss me? You haven’t answered me either. 

Both answered simultaneously “I have, said Seon Yul and I do , said Soo Hyun. 

He has eaten and she misses him. 

Both seemed happy with their replies. 

Soo Hyun? 

Yes? 

What are we now? 

Hmmm… I don’t know. 

You don’t? 

I..am not sure but, exclusively dating? 

Seon Yul smiled so wide. His face is gonna hurt if he won’t stop smiling. 

Ok. 

OK? 

Yes. OK. We are dating. Exclusively. 

You don’t sound happy, Seon Yul? 

I can show you how happy I am but it won’t be appropriate Soo Hyun 

She shivered again. She finds him sexy just this instant. 

Is he flirting with me? Soo Hyun wonders. 

He sense the tension and maybe the shyness of Soo Hyun, and he broke it off, still smiling. 

We will take this one day at a time. Nice, easy and slow Soo Hyun, don’t worry. 

They thought they will talk for a minute or two but ended talking 2 hours. They talked about his room in Germany. She was pleased to know the decorations and such. He told her about his scholarship and she was very much impressed. He loves impressing her.  He asked about the orphanage and it seems they are comfortable as they can at least for now. They are friends after all and to level up, is another thing. 

You better rest and sleep now, Soo Hyun. 

Alright. Goodnight Seon Yul. 

Take care please? She added. 

Always. Goodnight and I…I love you. 

You are playing dirty, Seon Yul. 

I’m not. You are. 

See you, I mean, let’s talk again tomorrow. 

Someones excited to see me home already huh.mm

Let’s put the phone now, she said and embarrassed. They both laughed 

Goodnight. Goodnight.

They finally put the phone down and she slept. He on the other hand has to prepare for a meeting. They are now somehow together. They are exclusively a “thing”, dating” They like that word. 

For 5 weeks, the long distance “Sort of relationship” they have was a challenge but not a big one. Yet for Seon Yul, he started missing her so bad already. Seon Yul had a great time in Germany and in his last few days, he was ready to go home. He wants to see her so bad already. 

Yoo Ra will have a different flight and different day to go back. She will stay over for another week. Seon Yul can’t wait to go home. He wants to bring something for her. Yoo Ra helped him tour the city. 

“I meant to ask you, did you and Soo Hyun talked? That day at the airport. How did it happened? 

Yoo ra being funny and jealous of Seon Yul being in love and she, still single, said “I told her if she won’t pursue you, I will?” 

You did what? Seon Yul, about to get furious

Hahahaha..she laughed so hard. Relax, greenboy. I was joking. To cut the story short, we talked. Girl talk. That’s all. So, stop asking already. 

He bought her a cashmink scarf from FRAAS, an 18th century famous german brand. She likes scarfs and he wants to put it on her. Winter is coming and he also bought her a jacket and scented candles. He bought also Kaweco Fountain pens. Of course pens, he said! She needed pens for writing and book signing. Yoo ra can’t help but laughed at him. “You haven’t even bought 1 thing for yourself and Soo Jin, you are a bad friend, Seon Yul” She smacked him at the back. 

He bought a tea set for himself and wanted that tea set for them to use when she visits his home soon. He imagines Soo Hyun having tea at his house. He also bought basic building blocks for the kids in the orphanage. HE never bought a lot for someone ever before. Not even for her mother or father. He has it bad, he thought. 

Yoo ra bid goodbye and they will see each other in Korea next week. 

Seon Yul was packing when he heard his phone rang. 

It is Soo Jin 

Hey bro! I heard you are arriving tomorrow. I want to fetch you but I believe somebody is fetching you tomorrow, right? I don’t want to be the third wheel. Haha, Yoo ra said the same thing. Ill see you soon! Im gonna be mad if I don’t have a gift, bro! 

Seon Yul laughed and thought to himself he has the best friends in the world. Another less to worry in this crazy world they have now entered. 

Soo Hyun texted Seon Yul. “Ill see you tomorrow. “

See you tomorrow. 

I miss you… Seon Yul was shocked to read and he read it again to check if he is wrong or just sleepy right now. But it says right there, she missed him. It’s progress, he said. He giggled. 

He replied “I miss you more. See you tomorrow!”

The next day, Soo Hyun was early. She was excited. She missed him dearly. He was gone more than a month and the yearning and longing was strong for him. She can’t deny it further. 

An hour later…there he is. 

He has arrived. All wearing his gorgeous smile , pretty hair, in white. She wants to run towards her but her feet seems stuck and she can’t move. He is back. He is now my…my Seon Yul. Distracted, Seon Yul hugged her first. He smelled her and squeezed her. 

“Hi” he said. 

Hello, she answered. Welcome back…welcome home. 

Yeah, it is good to be back. 

Let’s go, she said. 

Wait, he said. He took the scarf and put it on her neck. The fuchsia pink scarf. He bought 3 actually. You look beautiful, he murmur.

There, you are ready now. We are ready now. 

Where to? He asked. 

Anywhere with you? she replied.

He chuckled. Sounds romantic, he replied.  They both have huge grin and acting so in love. 

Let’s go. He held her hands. This time though, she interlocked her fingers in his. They were holding hands, properly and romantically now. 

The dating era is about to begin. 

Indeed, they both found love where it wasn’t supposed to be. 

Note :  I do back up research on this story ever since just because also I am a researcher myself. From the places in Korea to the songs, the inspiration and just currently, about Germany, and its famous hospital areas and gifts. Originally, I intended for this to be a 1 shot story but I want to honor and craft slowly this slow burn love story of our favorite characters. They deserve it. I hope you are feeling what I am feeling. I surprisingly enjoyed this for months now. Writing this one, my ever 1st fanfic is very challenging but enjoyable. Now, instead of 10 chapters, this would be probably be 12 at least. So, thank you for sticking with my story. You don’t know how much it means to me. Here and on X (twitter) thank you so much for your support! Next chapter is called “Secret Lovers”. Enough said, the title is everything and more. See yah!
