The apartment was quiet. a bit too quiet.

You were curled up on the couch with a blanket half-draped over your body, phone gripped in your hand, though you hadn’t checked the screen in a couple minutes. You knew he’d come back today. The news had already broken out ; Nagi Seishiro, eliminated from Blue Lock.

You knew him. He wont talk about it. he wouldn’t make a big deal of it. He’d just.

come home. as if nothing happend

The door clicked open.

You sat up immediately, blanket sliding off you and fell to the floor. “Sei?”

He walked in, hoodie on, hands in his pockets, his usual slow, nd lazy steps but his eyes didn’t meet yours. He kicked off his shoes, then stood there in the doorway for a moment, unmoving.

“…yo,” he said flatly.

Your heart cracked a little at how tired and drained he sounded

“You’re home,” you said, stepping forward and slowly wrapping your arms around him without hesitation.

He didn’t hug you back at first— not because he didn’t want to, but because that’s how Nagi was. he wasnt used to being comforted, But after a few seconds, you felt him lean into you, forehead resting lightly on your shoulder.

You held him tighter.

“You don’t have to talk about it,” you murmured into his hair. “Just let me hold you.”

“…kay,” he said.

You led him to the couch, pulling him down with you. He slouched immediately, head falling into your lap like it belonged there. You gently pushed his hoodie back and started running your fingers through his white hair.

“You’re not mad?” he asked after some moments of silence, voice barely above a whisper.

You blinked down at him. “Mad?”

“That I didn’t make it.”

Your heart softened again at his words. “Seishiro? No. Of course not.”

He was quiet again, eyes half-lidded, staring somewhere past you.

“I didn’t really care about it at first,” he said. “But then i really did started to care. I wanted to win. mm' wanted to be worth something.”

Your fingers slowed in his hair. “You already are. You always have been.”

He looked up at you then, his eyes was checking to see if you meant it.

You smiled, brushing his bangs from his forehead. “You’re enough, even when you’re not winning. Even when you think you’re not trying hard enough. Even when you just wanna lie around and game all day. I love all parts of you.”

Nagi let out a tiny breath, a sigh of relief, like he was finally letting go of something heavy.

“…You’re comfy,” he mumbled, nuzzling into your lap.

“You really are clingy huh?” you teased, but your hand never stopped moving through his hair.

“hmmm.”

You laughed, warm and quiet. “what ever am i going to do with you sei?”

He stayed there, wrapped up in your warmth, not wanting to say another word. The silence between you wasn’t awkward— it was calm, easy. Maybe that was all he needed.

He realized , maybe he didnt need to be the best, he still had you and that was a kind of victory no forms tournament could ever give him.

The audio comes from the March 20, 1974 concert in Memphis, TN, but the footage is what I'm referring to now. It also comes from 1974 (either in May or one of the following months that year, because it was when Elvis introduced us the Blue Swirl suit). Anyway, right at the initial notes, he didn't even sing a damn word, the fans screamed at the way he moved sharply in sync with the beat… my reaction simultaneous, eyes wide and jaw slack. WOW! I think a compilation of Jaemin and Nami eating ramen for 3 minutes is a good way to celebrate the Blue Boys Part 2 announcement.

Between their chemistry, the desire, the sounds, and the mukbang, Jaemin and Nami's kiss scenes are hotter than a lot of actual nc scenes.

Then in contrast, we have Jaemin being the cutest thing.

I wish they had included this in the actual episode instead of cutting to Sol's jealous bitch face. Jaemin acts like he's annoyed with that little nose scrunch, but his happy smile says otherwise. I can't wait for June.
