I will tell you my story quickly, I am Abdullah, and with me are my elderly mother and father, and I take care of them. Since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, I have lost 3 people from my family, my cousin and 2 children from my sister, who did not flee from the northern Gaza Strip and were exposed to Israeli bombing, and everyone in the house was injured without warning. Every day in these bloody days that we are living in Gaza increases the loss of those we love, and I fear that in two days I will lose more of my family, my mother and father, because I love them more than myself. Please stop the war, please. Our enemy will support my campaign, please.

Coelacanths are deep-sea fish that live off the coasts of southern Africa and Indonesia and can reach up to two meters in length. For a long time, scientists believed they were extinct.
In new research published in Nature Communications, we reveal the best-preserved coelacanth fossil ever found from the ancient period hundreds of millions of years ago when these ancient sea-dwellers first evolved. The fossil comes from the Gogo Formation on Gooniyandi Country in northern Western Australia.
Okay so like we’re all away that queerness is everywhere in nature right? Like every animal has some form of queer relationships formed within the species? Okay cool now hear me out
Gay dinosaurs
Like I’m not a palaeontologist by any means (can’t even spell the word apparently) and I’m not entirely sure if we’ll ever be able to fully understand dinosaur behaviours, but since queerness is so prevalent in nature in the modern day, surely it goes back far enough to the dinosaurs right?
Okay but aside from all the plot stuff can I say how refreshing it is to FINALLY have a spinosaurid dinosaur depicted as being aquatic?
Like that’s literally their entire thing and yet the only other time this happened in the franchise was with the Spinosaurus in JP3, twenty three years ago! As a dino nerd myself this is all I could ask for tbh
Please pray for Lebanon and Gaza. Lebanon is going through the same suffering that the Palestinian people are going through. Houses are being bombed over the heads of their residents. My family and I were exposed to these circumstances. The upper floor of the house was bombed and we are in I cannot describe to you the horror of the scene except in one word. It is extremely difficult and unimaginable. Therefore, I hope that you do not go through the suffering that we are going through and that the people of Lebanon are currently going through.
Finally finished the designs for Stryacosaurus! I went through almost 5 different variations before settling on a color scheme and pattern I liked. The lighter, paler versions live more in the northern Midwest, while the redder/orange versions live near the California redwood forests. The Alamosaurus herds tend to trample vegetation under their feet when they move around and leave a path of flattened bushes and fallen trees behind them, which the Stryacosaurus feed on. The Stryacosaurus follow the Alamosaurus around to have access to this easy food, while the Alamosaurus allow the Stryacosaurus to stick around because they become the targets of Albertosaur attacks, protecting the younger Alamosaurus calves and elderly members of the herd. The northern version is larger and fatter, adapted to live in colder environments. The northern variants of Stryacosaurus are also preyed upon by Albertosaurus, and occasionally have run-ins with Nanuqsaurus as well. The males have darker stripes along their crests (so far I’ve only designed the males) and sharper horns, while the females have thicker tails, smaller horns, and lighter crests without the stripes.
All of the Prehistoric Pride guys in one collective post to celebrate pride month. Choose your fighter and have an awesome time :D
More suggestions are always welcome, I sadly was not able to cover everyone, but I will do more of these in the future!
I am going to add more and more to the collection as I get them done :D
If you would like to support my silly little dinosaur art, then you can buy any of these Prideaurs as stickers from my Etsy shop, which I just set up recently. I am pretty new to this entire business side of art things, but I am trying my best :D so a like or a reblog would go a long way. Thank you guys so much for all your kind words and support!
