Ummm literally just made an account and have no idea how this works. Then found this wip in my docs. I have no idea where I was going with it but it will now see the light of day. Omg I didn't even proofread it pls ignore my typos.
Tim woke up in a bed that was not his own.
Not unusual. He sometimes slept in his parents’ bedroom. It smelt like them and would sometimes feel like being with them. But this wasn’t any bedroom that Tim knew.
It was bigger than his room, with navy walls and dark curtains that covered a window larger than the one he was used to. It was also empty, with a few necessities furnishing the sparseness. Tim’s bedroom had never known emptiness after Mrs Mac had given up on it when Tim was 9.
There were some clothes on the ground. Which was something. He sat up, pucshing off teh soft blanket that gathered at his waits. His bare feet hit the carpeted floor as he continued his research. The clothes on the ground were too big for him. A collared white shirt and charcoal slacks. He found a tie of matching colour under his bed. It reminded him of Dad, this was the sort of thing he wore when he went to the office.
He looked to the closet and found nothing else. More shirts and ties in different shades, a pair of dress shoes, and a plain yellow hoodie. He didn’t know these clothes. Tim glanced down at his current outfit, a loose black shirt with Superman’s symbol on it and a pair of sweatpants he’d folded three times at the hip for them to stay on. The shirt was something he would wear, so maybe…
Batman had protocols for time travel. Nothing that he had ever explicitly told Tim since he was way too busy devising ways to make Tim quit, but files that Tim had read over when he had a minute to spare, The rules were fairly simple, should he go back in time, he was not allowed to inform anyone he knew of the future nor could he change anything. Things were a bit loose on how to proceed if he traveled to the future, but not to ask any questions and seek the quickest way back home was the best summary of the lengthy text.
And, it looked like he was at Wayne Manor. So Batman must be around. He would know how to fix this. And, would Tim be able to meet himself? The adult version?
He fights the urge to grin as he tugs open the bedroom door and makes his way to the cave on silent feet. Batman find it unprofessional. Tim’s never actually been in the family wing before, so he goes into the wrong room. It’s an office, but not Bruce’s. There’s a desk in the middle of the room, a whiteboard tacked to one large wall and an old couch near the doorway. Tim wanders inside. He’s never seen it before. There’s an open laptop on the table, so Tim goes there first. It’s likely locked, and he’s not surprised when he finds a neutral blue screen asking the pincode, what’s actually surprising is the person ID. Tim Drake. This is his laptop.
He doesn’t know why but the first number that comes to him is the day he learnt how to ride a bike. It was nothing super amazing. Some of the other kids in class could do it with no hands, or do wheelies. But Tim was proud. He had figured it out on his own, his father didn’t need to teach him. It baceme the most important date to him for a while.
He taps in the numbers with hesitant fingers and presses the enter key. It’s accepted.
The laptop opens on a video.
“Shit,” says a much older Tim. “You must be 14. Oh god.”
So there's been some manner rouge attack and the outcome of said rounge attack is that Tim's been deaged to 14. Tim is also Red Robin. Tim also doesn't have a spleen. There may also be ninjas attacking him at random in order to seduce him to their evil immortal overlord's side and likely into his bed. He's also the CEO of Wayne Enterprises.
"Yeah, I get that it's a lot. But uh, we've always had to deal with a lot, huh? This is a little different from usual, but eh semantics. So, if you're ever confused about anything, find the phone under your pillow and call a person named Pru, she can help you out with any Leaugue of Assassins business and call Kon if it's about anything else."
Big Tim smiles and it's shocking how similar he looks to Tim. He's not s chubby, he's got sharper eyes and cheekbones and his hair is longer than anything Tim would dare to try, but his smile is the same. It's a little joking, a little happy, and just like the thing Tim had seen on the surface of the Batmobile when Batman told him he did a good job at patrol.
"But you're me, so you got this," says Big Tim. He suddenly looks up over the camera and his expression fades into something neutral. Two seconds pass, Tim hears a door close. "Also, you should get out of the manor as quick as you can. That place wasn't safe for me and it isn't safe for you now. Jason Todd is alive and he hates us. Avoid the Robin in a katana, he's got it out for us too. Bruce can't keep us safe" - Tim notes a miniscule shift in the muscles of Big Tim's jaw - "or won't, if it's possible, he's even harder to read now. Dick is…"  Tim watches as his face falls and something that looks alarmingly like a tear wells up in his eyes. "Dick is… We're not the most important thing to him. Don't count on him to have your back, it's better if you ditch before he sees you."
There's a lot to think about. And before he has the time to give any idea in those last few sentences any serious thought. The Tim on screen is already moving on.
"Address, phone, laptop and everything else should be in the hidden compartment above your bed. Feel around for the switch. Get to the apartment and send an email to Tam Fox, use the words 'I am unwell and cannot make it to the office. Please postpone my meetings and cancel the order' she'll know what that means. That should be everything. Good luck, kid. "
The screen cuts to black and Tim's up and moving before he can stew on the contents of the video for too long. It was a selfish thought anyway, that Bruce and Dick and Alfred woul ever love him. He's the replacement for a dead boy, it would have been impossible to live up to him, Tim doesn't know why he tried. And oh god, Jason Todd hates him. The back of his throat burns and he gulps down a swallow, unwilling to let the sounds of his sob infect the silent manor. His hero hates him. The boy he loved the most in the world hates him.
Dick Grayson was an ideal. Something perfect and untouchable, he wasn't actually. Nobody was perfect, But the first Robin and now Nightwing had always given off the aura of untouchable idealility. He was the example to follow, the person everyone strove to be or wanted to be near. In his brief stint as Robin, Tim noticed how he drove people towards them. Bruce didn’t know it, but he was lighter when Dick was around, and Barabara was more likely to join patrols. The older Titans gravitated around him, like planets in his orbit, a product of long-term trust and friendship, but even strangers seemed to know that Dick was all that is good.
Of course, Tim knew that he could never replace Jason as his brother, but in the deepest part of his heart, he had always hoped to become family adjacent. That one day Dick would look at him with the same softness he only reserved for Bruce and Alfred. To know that he could not even trust him… Well, that hurt more than he thought possible.
Through some miracle of God, Tim didn’t cry and managed to find the hidden compartment above his bed. In a square hole the size of a small cabinet he found a slim laptop, a phone, and a thick stack of money bound together by a rubber band. There were no clothes he could switch into, but this Gotham was likely similar to his Gotham, no one would bat an eye at a boy wearing oversized clothes. He found some sneakers in the closet, too big, but he fit them over his feet anyway and snuck out of his room for the second time.
Silence reigned supreme in the manor, bearing an uncanny resemblance to Tim’s house. Big Tim said his house was destroyed in the aftermath of an earthquake that changed a lot of Gotham’s cityscape. The address he found on the phone in his hand was somewhere in the middle of the city, so the second thing he did was call for an Uber in the most silent voice possible. The person on the phone informed him of a twenty-minute wait, which would be plenty of time for Tim to escape Batman’s house and wait outside Drake manor.
The phone was shoved into pockets of his sweatpants, while the money and the laptop rested in a bag he had discovered, and after much exploration, he found what looked to be a family room.
Tim cursed. This may take longer than his estimated time. He set off down another promising hallway, only to stutter to a stop when he heard voices.
“So? ‘S he alright? Baby bird took a pretty bad hit,” says a voice. It’s rough, like the voice of a smoker, and possesses a thick Crime Alley accent. Male.
Tim feels his heart stop when he hears the first man’s companion respond. “Alred says he’s healthy, so we moved him up to his room. Timmy should be waking up soon.”
It’s Dick. No no no- He’s supposed to be avoiding Dick. That’s what Big Tim said to do. He shouldn’t be here. He should be moving.
It’s all for naught because that’s when the men turn the corner and run right into Tim. He runs a quick glance over them. Tall, muscular, and big. One’s bigger than the other and has a white streak through his hair. The other is… it’s Dick. Older, with more lines near his eyes and mouth, but the same person he saw at patrol earlier (or later, depending on who you asked) that day.
The person who didn’t love him. Who didn’t even like him maybe?
Tim can’t help it. When their eyes widen and older Dick takes a step toward him, he bursts into tears.

#14 - Fandom you keep returning to?
hmm, interesting. I think I go back and periodically reread in a lot of my old fandoms, because I have favorite fics there, or because they have a vibe that I know is going to scratch a particular itch. It tends to be specific stories that I remember.
Gyzym's Domestic Verse in Inception
Dira Sudis's You Don't Shake Alone stories in Generation Kill
Pru's Drastically Redefining Protocol and Footloose's Loaded March in Merlin
Etharei's Hide of a Life War and a lot of others in Teen Wolf (I really loved that fandom)
Leupagus's Only Good for Legends and Waldorph's Illogical (√π233/hy7) in Star Trek Reboot.
I don't know, I don't really ever abandon stories and characters I love. I reread books like this too.
#24 - Funniest fandom-related story?
and suddenly my mind goes completely and utterly blank.
Oh, okay, so @cecilyv and I have known each other for a long time, and haven't lived in the same city for most of it. And, long before we successfully wrote Buck/Tommy fic we unsuccessfully wrote fic for other fandoms (never published0. Like there is a lot of unsuccessful fic saved on a thumb drive somewhere on my desk. One of them was a love letter to the city of Edinburgh, and mysteriously managed to make the characters more believably friends than the show ever did, even though we were ostensibly writing a romance. We never solved the middle bit of how to get the characters past the conflict we'd created, mostly because the fic really was just about missing Edinburgh and missing each other.
And this is how fandom can help you keep a friendship alive.

Oi oi, booklovers!
🧁| A Seleção (Kiera Cass)
🧁| Instant Karma - Caos, Amor e Destino
• Princesa Adormecida: meu preferidinho.
Bjs e boas leiturassss <333

A link to my personal reading of the Scriptures
for the 3rd of november 2024 with a paired chapter from each Testament (the First & the New Covenant) of the Bible
[The Book of Mark, Chapter 14 • The Book of 1st Samuel, Chapter 10]
along with Today’s reading from the ancient books of Proverbs and Psalms with Proverbs 3 and Psalm 3 coinciding with the day of the month, accompanied by Psalm 43 for the 43rd day of Astronomical Autumn, and Psalm 8 for day 308 of the year (with the consummate book of 150 Psalms in its 3rd revolution this year)
A post by John Parsons:
"The day you were born is the day God decided the world could not exist without you." - R’ Nachman of Breslov
====
God made you entirely unique, and no one else was created for the special role that you have in the overarching plan of Almighty God...
Jewish tradition says that God created Adam alone as "olam malei" (עוֹלָם מָלֵא), “an entire world,” to teach that each individual is of great value and significance. "Thus anyone who sustains one individual has sustained the world; and anyone who destroys one individual has destroyed an entire world" (Sanhedrin 37a).
In addition, God created man as a solitary creation to remind all people that they descend from a common source: No one has a greater or better lineage or “pedigree” than anyone else.
Moreover, each of us is created with a radical sense of "aloneness," a built in "hunger" for relationship and especially for God's presence. "Our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Thee," said Augustine. Therefore the very first commandment to Adam and Eve comes in the form of a blessing: "And God blessed them and said, פְּרוּ וּרְבו / pru urvu: "be fruitful and multiply" (Gen. 1:28). People were created to be in fellowship with others and with God, and when this is lacking, there is a sense of incompletion, a profound soul hunger and need....
When you feel discouraged or anxious because of difficult times, remember how the LORD God created the world and sustains it for the sake of the revelation of his love for you... You may not understand the present moment, though you can assuredly trust that God’s salvation given in the Messiah Yeshua heals you forever and ever (John 5:24).
Declare at all times, then: “The world was created for my sake, though I am but dust and ashes.” God is faithful, the great Amen of the human heart’s cry. Your inner being is redeemed by God for you to experience and know the blessing of eternal life (John 17:3). Amen.

I'm MEME
Tumblr media
(Do memes (as it is popular in Malaysian politics) provide a useful way of understanding politics?
What is a meme?
The correct pronunciation for meme is meem (rhymes with dream). Meme is a common cultural phenomenon that is used to provide social criticism. Memes can be found through humorous images, videos, gifs and texts and it has become a norm in the digital era. You can find them on social media like Instagram, Facebook or X. A gif type meme can be found in the Instagram, Facebook and X comment section. You can also create your own meme in WhatsApp to reply to someone, and it can be about anything from current events. Nowadays, everyone uses meme to engage with one another. The origin of meme starts from biologist Richard Dawkins’s 1976 book (The Selfish Gene). According to Darwin, meme is a cultural unit that spreads from person to person, much as genes spread through reproduction. Memes, which translate to "that which is imitated," come from the Greek word mimema. The first ever internet meme is a 3D animated baby doing a cha-cha dance that became popular in the late 1990s known as “Dancing Baby”
Tumblr media
Meme in Politic
Social media has been playing a critical role in political elections which make people are now often exposed to political information and able to voice their political opinions online thanks to political memes. However, not much is known about the people who exchange political memes on the internet or if being exposed to memes influences important political behavioral, emotional, and attitude effects. Nowadays, the community, especially the younger generation Z, regularly uses satire or memes as a form of expression and communication. Generation Z refers to people who were born after 1998 (Regan, 2000) and generation that was exposed to digital world.
Meme politics were used to talk about politics during the 2016 US presidential election while appearing as entertainment, and many young voters based their political ideas on political memes from social media. (Alex, 2016; Bulatovic, 2019; Douglas, 2016). Many young people will be more likely to understand politics and see memes as an important source of information as they go through the generations. By doing this, the political meme creator will be able to create new memes that further convey and illustrate their political views, which they will then disseminate to a large audience regardless of the meme's quality.
Tumblr media
During Malaysia's most recent 15th General Election, memes were widely utilized on a variety of social media platforms. The meme's impact among youth on social media platforms was successful in changing Malaysian politics once more on PRU 14. Malaysians use around fifteen different social media sites to accomplish a wide range of everyday objectives (Mohamad Azmir Mohd Nizah & Mohammed Fazanizzam Zahran, 2022). One of the most used social media platforms at that time was WhatsApp followed by Facebook and Instagram. The messages meme gained popularity among younger people because it provided an amount of uniqueness that more accurately reflected the reality of the established social groups in media, politics, and advertising (Nieubuurt, 2021). The technique is also creative in that it uses memes to spread the word until it is accepted by everybody, becomes viral fast, and is always available to a big audience.
For example, there are a few Malaysian politic memes that can be found all over the internet and for me, I found that the announcement for our new prime minister back in 2020 have the most hilarious meme in the history. Malaysians who are waiting for the result as to who our new Prime Minister would be are spending their time creating memes of the current situation while they wait. In the end of the day, the old prime minister is the new prime minister.

Do memes provide a useful way of understanding politics?
In my opinion, yes meme does provide us a useful way to understand politic. The younger generations including me can understand politic easily through meme. Memes have more humor and satire to express a point which makes it impossible to figure out whether the content is fake or real.
Memes are a helpful and significant way of communicating for the next generation. In the end, this made important topics that be presented can be in a style that is clearer, less formal, funny and easy to understand.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
To conclude everything, people like the Malaysian citizen can understand politic better through memes because sometimes politic memes can help us to understand politics better than read from a textbook or online article. I do find memes can be relatable and hope the memes trend will never get old because memes mean a lot for us ><

Complete Guide to Index Funds: The Best Investment Strategy for Long-Term Wealth
Tumblr media
Why Are Index Funds the Best Way to Build Wealth?
Investing can feel overwhelming, especially when trying to pick the best stocks or time the market. But what if there was a simple, low-cost, and high-return strategy that even Warren Buffett recommends?
That’s where Index Funds come in.
They offer a hassle-free way to grow wealth, outperform most active traders, and come with lower risks compared to picking individual stocks. In this guide, we’ll cover everything about Index Funds—how they work, the best funds in India and globally, their benefits, risks, and how to start investing today.
Tumblr media
What is an Index Fund & How Does It Work?
Definition & Concept
An Index Fund is a type of mutual fund or Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) that replicates a market index like the NIFTY 50, SENSEX, S&P 500, or Nasdaq-100.
Instead of hiring fund managers to pick stocks, index funds automatically track the performance of a predefined index.
Example from the Indian Stock Market
The NIFTY 50 Index Fund holds the top 50 companies in India like Reliance Industries, TCS, Infosys, and HDFC Bank.
A SENSEX Index Fund includes 30 blue-chip stocks such as HUL, ICICI Bank, and Bharti Airtel.
The NIFTY Next 50 Index Fund focuses on the next emerging large-cap companies after NIFTY 50.
How Index Funds Work
Tumblr media
Fund managers create a portfolio mirroring an index.
When the index composition changes (a company exits/enters), the fund adjusts its holdings accordingly.
Investors benefit from the overall market growth rather than individual stock performance.
🚀 Fun Fact: In India, the NIFTY 50 index has delivered an average annual return of 12-14% over the last 20 years—outperforming most actively managed funds.
Index Funds vs Active Investing: Which One is Better?
Active Investing (Mutual Funds & Stock Picking)
Fund managers actively buy/sell stocks to beat the market.
High fees due to fund manager salaries & frequent transactions.
Higher risk as it depends on human decisions and market timing.
Example: An actively managed Large-Cap Mutual Fund may try to outperform NIFTY 50 by selecting different stocks.
Passive Investing (Index Funds & ETFs)
No stock-picking; just tracks the index performance.
Low cost due to minimal management.
Historically outperforms active funds over long periods.
📌 Data Insight:
According to SPIVA India Report, 85% of actively managed funds failed to beat NIFTY 50 over a 5-year period.
Warren Buffett has famously advised investors to "just invest in an S&P 500 Index Fund" rather than picking stocks.
💡 Key Takeaway: Index funds are the best option for most investors—lower cost, lower risk, and better long-term returns.

🔎 Pro Tip: Use Strike.Money to track real-time performance of these index funds and compare their returns.
Risks of Investing in Index Funds (What You Need to Know!)
1. No Protection in Market Crashes
Since index funds mirror the market, they fall during crashes.
Example: During COVID-19 market crash (March 2020), the NIFTY 50 dropped by 30% in a month.
2. Lower Returns in Bull Markets
Actively managed funds may outperform index funds in short bull markets.
3. Limited Customization
You can’t pick individual stocks—you get whatever the index holds.
💡 How to Manage Risks?
Stay invested for at least 5+ years.
Invest through SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) to average out volatility.
How to Start Investing in Index Funds (Step-by-Step Guide)
Step 1: Choose the Right Investment Platform

tagged by beloved @sunriseverse to partake in this fic author interview!!!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
13 at present  i haven't deleted anything recently (to which there's probably like. 20 of my things if you incorporate abandoned works)
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
71,398 apparently... i know that one of my fics is nearly 26k but still. this is more than i expected
3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
(1) catch a rare type specimen [166] (2) a mighty nice shine [104] (3) the future is forgiven, so smile [80] (4) i don't know how we're just two men as god has made us [49] (5) how we rise to the height of our halo [34]
4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
i try my best to! but usually i'm only good about it after i've JUST posted a new fic and i'm compulsively checking engagement </3 and i rarely look back at old fic comment threads </333
5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
i haven't read them in a while but probably sleeping beauty or i'm a wonder... they're both post-PRU and heavy angst for hermann... though i guess i'm a wonder's ending is more Angsty, and sleeping beauty is more Suspenseful
6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
wonderful question. i write a lot of happy, or at least neutral with happy leanings, endings. maybe the future is forgiven, so smile, or something??? IDK man
7. Do you write crossovers?
not really... i'm really picky about them. and i'll make jokes with friends about them but i haven't gone through with any of the crossover ideas i really like (though maybe i should finally write something for ed secondhandvhs & i's joke about CIFL x stranger things teeheehee)
8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
plenty of it. and i am still laughing about the comment i got on a mighty nice shine... thankfully i've gotten better about not fully taking [the hate] to heart...
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
no... i almost wrote smut for the first time with a house fic a couple of months ago but i got nowhere with that fic idea. and a mighty nice shine is the very closest i've gotten to slipping it in but i'm too big of a chicken still (and it's not like i have any ideas stored up for it at present)
10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
not that i know of? but that'd be pretty funny if so. mainly because i'm. a Middling creative writer so if you're going to steal MY stuff, then your bar must be low
11. Have you ever had a fic translated?
also not that i know of. at least not that i've been told. i would be honored though... like to be able to share my ideas with a wider audience... sniffles and kicks my feet
12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
not that i remember? i think the closest i got, beloved, was the rob comedy... like i've Workshopped and Bounced Ideas with friends plenty of times but i don't remember a time where we've gone through with writing together
13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
low hanging fruit because i don't actually know but i'll gander newmann... like my pacrim hyperfixation (special interest even?) is still a fond period in my life and i still have so many affections for the them
14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
ALL OF THEM. like. i'm still sighing i didn't write that hilson smut, as well as sighing i didn't really go through with my Other house ideas (pacrim universe, 'if amber lived' universe, priest chase universe, etc etc). oh and there's two barry ideas i had with ed that i still think would be interesting explorations but haven't picked up in like two years. plus some ted lasso stuff (namely gymnastverse and tattooed roy). and OBVIOUSLY mad i haven't gotten ANYWHERE with any original work WIPs (yes this is a fanfic interview but i stand by the inclusion)
15. What are your writing strengths?
descriptions maybe? IDK i write creatively so infrequently i have no idea. i just know i tend to have fun writing descriptions all flowery and stuff
16. What are your writing weaknesses?
besides the fact that i Never write, i think i have a tendency to be too out of character for my own liking, or at least Worry too much about that prospect. like it's inevitable in some part with writing alternate universes but i'm just too neurotic. and i really need to be married to / tuned into the idea to have a flowing stream of writing, and half the time i just Can't
17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
i think if you do it and have the translation nearby / easily accessible, it's fine and can add an interesting dimension for like. the character's thinking in that language and/or being in some way immersed in it. but i also say that as someone who has included foreign languages or localized vocabulary then put translations/descriptions as footnotes in the end notes so. i'm biased
18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?
oh good lord... it was likely on deviantart so. heaven knows. my understanding of warriors or something else i was into through deviantart. and on wattpad it was probably— actually i'm going to have an aneurysm if i continue to think about this
19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?
there's probably plenty but re-reading this question probably severance or psych. like i haven't watched either recently and i'm more fixated on my own oc-verses at the moment but i would still like to finish my psych drag fic or at least write Something psych. and i should definitely delve into the horrors of severance once season two comes out
20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
another low hanging fruit but i always say i'm a wonder. there's just something about that one that still hits. maybe it's in part that i always think of that fic while listening to the song, and. frankly. i should revisit it at some point to see if i could develop it more

5 Film Pendek yang Harus Kamu Tonton Setidaknya Sekali Seumur Hidup
AUG 23, 2016 by NAUFAL RM in HIBURAN
Well, tentu saja.
“Grave Torture” – Joko Anwar

W najbliższy weekend Muzeum Narodowe we Wrocławiu przygotowało kilka wykładów, trzy oprowadzania kuratorskie i dwa koncerty.
Średniowieczny ceremoniał pogrzebowy książąt śląskich, a ich nagrobki to wykład dr. Jacka Witkowskiego towarzyszący wystawie „Śląska ars moriendi. Średniowieczne metalowe płyty nagrobne”. Słuchacze wprowadzeni zostaną w atmosferę średniowiecznych ceremonii pogrzebowych książąt i księżnych śląskich. Prelegent, korzystając z bogatej erudycji zabytkoznawczej oraz wiedzy mediewistycznej, przeanalizuje programy zachowanych nagrobków z okresu średniowiecza, ukazując frapujące szczegóły dotyczące percepcji przemijania i śmierci w czasach powstania tych artefaktów. Wykład w sobotę, 2 grudnia o godz. 16:00 w budynku głównym. Wstęp wolny.
O godz.
14:30 zabiorą wszystkich chętnych Małgorzata Macura i Barbara Andruszkiewicz.
Artura Kolbiarza. Oprócz tradycyjnie wiodących na Śląsku centrów artystycznych zlokalizowanych w dużych miastach do głosu doszły niewielkie, lecz prężnie funkcjonujące ośrodki artystyczne lokowane w prowincjonalnych miejscowościach. Całość tworzyła barwną mozaikę rozpiętą pomiędzy klasycyzującą rzeźbą akademicka, a znajdującą się na przeciwnym biegunie plastyką ekspresyjną. Podczas wykładu omówione zostaną wybrane przykłady dzieł reprezentujących różne ośrodki i nurty w śląskiej rzeźbie rokokowej.

Dzieła te często zdobione były ilustracjami ukazującymi walkę nieba i piekła o ludzką duszę. Wspomniane grafiki, pełne tajemniczych postaci i zagadkowych scen, wprowadzały odbiorców w wyjątkowy świat, w którym kuszenie diabłów przeciwstawione było anielskim napomnieniom.
Będzie to wydarzenie towarzyszące wystawie „Zaklinacze czasu. 18:00. Bilety w cenie 10 zł.

Drugi koncert to koncert zespołu Vox Imaginaria (w składzie: Julieta González-Springer [śpiew] i Ryszard Lubieniecki [portatyw, clavisimbalum]), towarzyszący wystawie „Śląska ars moriendi.
Będą to zarówno dzieła wielogłosowe zachowane w tzw. śpiewniku głogowskim (właść. partesach żagańskich), jak i utwory jednogłosowe i prosta polifonia z niezwykle rzadko obecnego w życiu koncertowym kancjonału średzkiego. Program uzupełnią śpiewy z wrocławskich źródeł fragmentarycznych, a także tabulatury organowe i improwizacje instrumentalne. Koncert w Muzeum Narodowym, w sobotę 2 grudnia o godz. 15:00. Wstęp wolny.
