Ghost of Yōtei comes to PlayStation 5 on October 2
youtube

We are so excited to announce that Ghost of Yōtei comes to PS5 on October 2, 2025!
It’s been nearly five years since we shipped Ghost of Tsushima, and in that time we’ve been hard at work making Ghost of Yōtei something special. While the stories are unrelated, it’s important to us to make this a worthy follow-up to Jin’s journey, and we can’t wait for you to experience Atsu’s quest for vengeance later this year.
Alongside today’s news, we’ve also released our latest trailer for Ghost of Yōtei, “The Onryō’s List.” Sixteen years ago in the heart of Ezo (called Hokkaido in present day), a gang of outlaws known as the Yōtei Six took everything from Atsu. They killed her family and left her for dead, pinned to a burning ginkgo tree outside her home. But Atsu survived. She learned to fight, to kill, and to hunt, and after years away she has returned to her home with a list of six names: The Snake, The Oni, The Kitsune, The Spider, The Dragon, and Lord Saito.
We hope the brief looks in today’s trailer give you a taste of what you can expect from Ghost of Yōtei. Beyond your first look at the Yōtei Six, you’ll spot some of the gorgeous scenery of Ezo as well as a handful of Atsu’s new weapons, a few of her allies, and even a new gameplay mechanic that will allow you to glimpse Atsu’s past and understand everything that was taken from her.
But we’ve only scratched the surface. In Ghost of Yōtei, we’ve built upon and evolved the way you explore the open world, offering even more freedom and variety than in Ghost of Tsushima. You’ll choose which leads to follow as you pick which Yōtei Six member you want to hunt down first. Atsu can also track other dangerous targets and claim bounties, or seek out weapon sensei to learn new skills. Ezo is wild, and as deadly as it is beautiful. As you trek across the open world you’ll find unexpected dangers and peaceful reprieves (including some returning activities from Tsushima), and you’ll be able to build a campfire anywhere in the open world for a rest under the stars. We want you to have the freedom to explore Ezo however you decide to, and we can’t wait to share more.

Today we can also reveal that pre-orders for Ghost of Yōtei begin next week, on May 2 at 10:00 AM in your local timezone (10:00 AM ET for those in the US), and you’ll be able to choose between multiple different editions, including our amazing Collector’s Edition.

First, if you pre-order any edition of Ghost of Yōtei you’ll receive a unique in-game mask, as well as a set of seven PSN avatars featuring concept art of Atsu and each member of the Yōtei Six at launch1. Pre-orders on PlayStation Store will receive the avatars immediately.
The standard edition of Ghost of Yōtei will be $69.99 USD / £69.99 / €79.99 / ¥8,980 MSRP and will be available at retail or at PlayStation Store.

At PlayStation Store, you’ll also be able to pre-order the Ghost of Yōtei Digital Deluxe Edition for $79.99 / £79.99 / €89.99 / ¥9,980 MSRP.
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a digital copy of Ghost of Yōtei plus in-game bonuses including The Snake’s armor set, as well as an alternate dye for your starting armor. You’ll also receive a unique horse color and unique saddle dye, plus an in-game Charm, gold Sword Kit, and an early unlock of Traveler’s Maps, which allow you to find statues throughout the world to upgrade your skills.

Finally, we are thrilled to reveal the Ghost of Yōtei Collector’s Edition2, which will be available for pre-order at direct.playstation.com in parts of the world where it is available, or at select retailers in other regions. Collector’s Edition pricing will be announced at a later date.
This packed edition includes all of the pre-order bonuses, all in-game items from the Digital Deluxe Edition, and a digital copy of the game3, as well as a replica display edition of Atsu’s Ghost mask. The mask is built to-scale with Jin’s mask from our Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition. If you have both, they look great next to each other on a shelf! The mask measures 6.8 x 5 x 5.9 inches and is made of resin, plus includes its own display stand.
Also included is a replica of Atsu’s sash, complete with the names of all six members of the Yōtei Six (but you’ll have to cross them off yourself). The sash measures 71 inches long and is made of a cotton blend, a perfect cosplay accessory or wall decoration.
There’s also a replica of the Tsuba from Atsu’s katana, forged by her father in the image of two twin wolves. This Tsuba measures roughly 3 x 3 inches and also includes its own display stand.
In addition to all of the above, the Ghost of Yōtei Collector’s Edition also includes a pouch of coins and instructions to play Zeni Hajiki, a game of skill you’ll play throughout Ghost of Yōtei. There’s also a foldable papercraft ginkgo tree along with a wolf at its base, and a set of four 5 x 7-inch art cards featuring the sash, the wolf, Atsu’s Ghost mask, and our key art.
We think this is the best Collector’s Edition we’ve ever produced, and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on it on October 2.
While pre-orders don’t open until May 2, you can wishlist Ghost of Yōtei right now at PlayStation Store and sign up to receive notifications as we release more information in the months to come.
We are so proud of Ghost of Yōtei and have many more exciting things we can’t wait to show you as we approach our release date. We are incredibly appreciative of all the support for Ghost of Tsushima and grateful for everyone who played, and hope you’ll look forward to following the wind once again on October 2.

Do you by chance know how to receive P5R themes and avatars on playstation? I heard that you're supposed to get them after beating certain palaces.
Oh you mean themes like this?

There are actually 2 ways to get these themes, and I did both of these methods.
1st method: PSN Email notifs
You must do this BEFORE you start a new game in P5R.
Step 1: Login to your Playstation Network Account (PSN).
Step 2: Go to your Account Settings and go to the "Notifications" tab
Step 3: Check the checkbox for "Receive via Email" and click "Save"
Now you'll be able to receive emails that will let you redeem P5R themes for free! These emails will give you redeem codes for the themes that you'll use in the Playstation store.
Here is how you'll obtain these emails:
Morgana, Ryuji and Ann themes -> After you finish Kamoshida's palace
(I actually didn't get this email because I signed up for the Email notifs AFTER I finished Kamoshida's palace 💀)
Yusuke, Makoto, and Futaba themes -> After you finish Futaba's palace
Haru, Akechi, and Kasumi themes -> After you finish Maruki's palace
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how you can obtain the Joker and Maruki themes so that's where the 2nd method comes in!
2nd Method: Japanese PlayStation store
This method is more complicated. This involves paying for these themes in the Japanese Playstation store. This is the method I used to purchase the Joker, Akechi, Maruki, and Kasumi themes.
Notice how their themes are in Japanese. It's proof that I bought them there.
So here are the steps:
Step 1: Create a new Japanese account on your PS4. Here's a video tutorial on how to do that:
youtube
Step 2: After you create a Japanese PS4 account, you're probably wondering, "How can I buy things in the Japanese Playstation store if I don't have Yen or a Japanese bank account?" 😥
Simple, just purchase a Japanese PSN Gift card! The themes are really cheap, so you can just buy the cheapest Japanese PSN gift card. I usually buy these gift cards in Play-Asia! Just go to play-asia.com and search for this!
Step 3: After you purchase the gift card and got the redeem code, enter the redeem code in the Japanese PSN store. Make sure you're in the Japanese store when you do this!
If you don't know how to read Japanese, you'll need some translation tools. If I recall correctly, the word "Redeem" was in katakana (レディーム)
Step 4: After you redeemed the gift card and got your Yen, this is the tricky part. You'll need to search for the P5R themes. Try going to the search bar in the store and type "P5".
If you know how to type in Japanese, trying adding a Japanese keyboard for your PS4 and type in "ペルソナ5" (perusona 5) or "テーマ" (teema) in the search bar.
------------------------------------
And that's how you get the P5R themes! Hope this helps!

which rayman game introduced you to the series as a whole?
rayman 3! first one I ever played, has such a special place in my heart ❤️ but if you wanna get technical, I'd known about rayman's existence ever since the release of origins or so, around 2011! had buddies as a kid that were big rayman fans and I learnt about the series when that game came out. I even distinctly remember I had the rayman PSN avatar for years despite knowing nothing about him, I just thought he looked fun and silly!
this one! (and fun fact: for some reason america(?) had a different version of this avatar with a blue-ish gradient background? I always thought those seemingly random regional differences were odd lol.)

New update to the Astro Bot GAME UK Pre-Order saga:
When my copy turned up only the physical game and poster were there right? All Game physical pre-orders were supposed to come with the Game, a poster and codes for 2 free psn avatars, a dual speeder skin {so you unlock it immediately rather than gamble for it in the gatcha} and a "Lovestruck Lyricist" {Parappa the Rapper} outfit and mine didn't have the digital stuff at all.
Guess what turned up in my inbox over half an hour ago?
I got the physical copy on Thursday, 6 days after release, and you're telling me that it's more than acceptable to then send over the bonus codes 5 days after that? I have literally already gotten one of my bonusess through normal gameplay already in the time it's taken for this shit to turn up. What clown hell are we living in.
#astrobot#astro bot#astro bot game#Game UK is fucking uselesss stg#But heyo the saga continues ig#Spotify

Tekken 8 initial impressions
It's wonderful! Game feels good to play; new combo routes are fun, heat is interesting! It's enough like previous games that it's very familiar but there are new mechanics and new characters. We've got a lot of stuff to learn!
If you are new but interested, get in there! There will be about one zillion people playing (about 46K on Steam, *right now*, plus XBox and PSN) and everybody is learning together, and the in-game learning tools are way better than they've ever been.
I'm really excited to dig into this and keep learning and playing.
Also. The game is *beautiful*. It is so pretty. They did such a good job on the character models, and the new animations are gorgeous. Look at, eg, Yoshimitsu's new running 3 (the running jump kick, he glides a little bit!), or all of Devil Jin's new animations (his df1 and ws2 look *unhinged*, just super demonic), or everything King does, or...
Everything loads in *so fast*. Load times are astoundingly quick, especially compared with Tekken 7; rematches are basically instant.
Great music too, and there's the Jukebox mode so you can customize it, and it comes with tracks from basically every previous Tekken game. Except for the Snoop Dogg song from TTT2, tragically. That one is not included :-(
The netplay was initially busted, like for the first 12 hours, but it seems like they've fixed it, and it's really good. I played a few ranked matches when I woke up this morning, and then sparred with a friend on a different continent! California vs Poland! it worked great! There's a cute chibi-avatar system that you can use too, and you can run around in a little virtual arcade. It's very charming. Big hoorays all around. I think, and I realize this is going to be a shock to long-time readers of this blog -- I think you should play Tekken if you're at all interested in playing Tekken, and Tekken 8 is a wonderful Tekken.

Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated – The Ultimate Guide to Unlocking Free Gaming Credits
In the ever-expanding world of PlayStation gaming, PSN (PlayStation Network) gift cards have become a popular currency among gamers. Whether you’re aiming to buy new titles, downloadable content (DLC), or even subscribe to PlayStation Plus, PSN gift cards can cover your needs. But with the rising costs of gaming, the demand for free PSN gift card code generators has exploded. If you’re looking for a Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated, you’re not alone—and you’ve come to the right place.
This comprehensive guide explores everything you need to know about the latest Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated, including how they work, their legitimacy, how to stay safe, and alternatives to earn free PSN credits legally.
What Is a PSN Gift Card? Before diving into generators, it's crucial to understand what a PSN gift card is. A PSN gift card is a prepaid digital or physical card that holds a monetary value, usually in denominations like $10, $20, $50, or more. This credit can be redeemed on the PlayStation Store for:
Full game downloads
In-game purchases
Subscriptions to PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now
Themes, avatars, and more
They’re available for purchase through retail stores and online platforms, but what if you could get them free?
What Is a Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator? A Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated is a digital tool or software that claims to create valid PSN gift card codes without requiring a purchase. These platforms usually offer various card denominations and often tout instant code generation features.
Some websites or apps claim their PSN generators are regularly updated to bypass Sony’s security system, hence the emphasis on “2025 Updated.” This version implies improved accuracy, less detection, and enhanced user experience.
How Do Free PSN Gift Card Code Generators Work? Most Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated platforms follow a similar workflow:
Visit the Generator Website: You’ll typically find a user-friendly interface.
Select Region and Denomination: Choose your country (e.g., US, UK, Canada) and the value ($10, $20, $50).
Click Generate: The system "randomly" generates a code.
Human Verification Step: Most platforms ask you to complete a survey or CAPTCHA.
Receive the Code: After verification, the code is displayed or emailed.
While this sounds easy, the real question is—are they legit?
Are Free PSN Gift Card Code Generators Legit or Scams? Let’s address the elephant in the room. Most Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated platforms are scams or, at best, misleading.
Here's why: Random Code Generation Doesn’t Work: Sony’s codes are stored in a secure database and follow specific algorithms. Random generation is rarely successful.
Surveys for Monetization: Most websites use "human verification" surveys to generate ad revenue. You fill out the survey, but you never get a working code.
Malware Risks: Some downloadable tools may contain malicious software like keyloggers or spyware.
Account Bans: Using unauthorized codes or methods can result in a ban from the PlayStation Network.
That said, not all hope is lost. There are legitimate methods to get free PSN gift cards.
How to Get Free PSN Gift Cards – Legal Alternatives Instead of risking your device or account with shady generators, try these proven ways to get free PSN credits.
Microsoft Rewards / Google Opinion Rewards You can earn points through simple tasks like:
Completing surveys
Watching ads
Searching with Bing (Microsoft Rewards)
These points can be redeemed for PlayStation gift cards.
Swagbucks Swagbucks allows users to earn points (SB) by:
Watching videos
Completing offers
Taking surveys
You can exchange your SB points for gift cards, including PSN cards.
InboxDollars / PrizeRebel These platforms reward you for performing daily online tasks. Once you accumulate enough points or dollars, you can redeem them for PSN cards.
Giveaways and Promotions Many influencers and gaming YouTubers host giveaways, especially during holidays or game releases. Participating in these could land you a free PSN gift card code.
Gaming Apps That Reward Users Apps like Mistplay or AppKarma reward users for trying out new games. Accumulate points and exchange them for PlayStation Store credits.
How to Spot a Fake Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated If you still want to explore Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated tools, you need to know how to identify scams.
Red Flags to Watch For: No HTTPS Security: Always look for the padlock in the URL.
Too Many Ads and Pop-ups: Scam sites are usually over-monetized.
Mandatory Survey Gate: If the code is locked behind endless surveys, it’s likely fake.
Unrealistic Promises: If a site claims unlimited codes, it’s a red flag.
No User Reviews or Social Proof: Lack of credibility indicators is a bad sign.
If you're dealing with any of the above, steer clear.
Top 3 Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated Websites (With Caution) Here are three popular sites often discussed in forums. Use at your own risk:
PSNCodeGenerator2025.com Claims to have an updated algorithm.
Offers regional codes.
Requires human verification.
GiftCardZenFree.com Provides various gift card types.
Advertises no-download instant access.
Includes survey verification.
CardCrafterPro.net Rebranded in 2025 with a new interface.
Offers email delivery after verification.
Mixed user reviews.
Note: These are not guaranteed to work and should be approached cautiously.
How to Redeem a PSN Gift Card Code If you’ve successfully obtained a valid code—whether legally or otherwise—follow these steps to redeem it:
Sign in to your PlayStation account.
Go to the PlayStation Store.
Scroll to the bottom and click Redeem Codes.
Enter your 12-digit code.
Hit Continue and confirm.
Once added, the credit is available immediately.
Can You Be Banned for Using Generated PSN Codes? Yes. If you use a generated code that was obtained illegally or already redeemed, Sony may:
Ban your PSN account permanently
Restrict certain features
Remove fraudulent credits
This is why it’s highly recommended to avoid using suspicious Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated tools and stick to legitimate earning methods.
Future of PSN Gift Card Generators in 2025 and Beyond As gaming security evolves, Sony will likely continue to enhance its fraud-detection systems. Here's what we can expect:
AI-Powered Fraud Monitoring: Sony may implement machine learning to detect abnormal code redemptions.
Two-Factor Authentication for Redemptions: Added layers of security could make it nearly impossible for generators to function.
Blockchain-Based Verification: In the future, unique codes might be verified through blockchain, making forgery nearly impossible.
This means most generators will become obsolete, and only legit methods will survive.
Final Thoughts The idea of a Free PSN Gift Card Code Generator 2025 Updated is attractive—especially for avid gamers looking to save money. However, the majority of these tools are scams, posing risks like:

Portanto, as coisas mudaram desde então.
Pré-venda de Ghost of Yotei
