Dream
A soccer player that falls out of grace becomes the coach of a group of homeless men training for the Homeless World Cup that will be held in England. Is the over used plot of the underdog, we know what to expect and it doesn’t disappoint.
I liked the film even when it touches in a very superficial way how people see the homeless. Each men has a story of love and struggle and I like to see that the tournament helped them finds out and kept them together as a support system.

Itaewon Class. 7.6/10
I would not recommend this drama to my friends. I would not rewatch this drama.
Interesting themes of existentialism, family problems, receiving help or not, giving the baton to the other person since you've made your opinions or feelings clear, and choosing the right choice. It's interesting how many characters are like now it's up to you, you hold the cards. Saeroyi has an impact on people throughout time, and his actions stay memorable to people enough to change them. I cannot fathom that impact considering how I could do the same but those actions would just be forgotten. I do think it can oftentimes be about the person and not the action. Or at least the perception of the person. I get a lot of similar sentiments to Prison Playbook. Even Saeroyi's weird hair. His morals and this community building are like Prison Playbook.
Once Saeyori started reciprocating feelings for Yi Seo, I thought they were soo cute. I feel warm despite comments I've heard that they don't have chemistry. I don't relate. I so understand Saeroyi when like feelings are involved so it's more difficult to have skinship like petting Yi Seo's hair. Geun Soo recognizing that the person he likes is bad to him..those moments are sad to me bc I get it. Geun Soo is literally MIchael Corleone.
Seong Kwon was hot when fighting Hee Hoon. I'm here for Saeroyi in nice clothes by the end. Park Bogum being a handsome chef is the randomest thing but thanks for popping up. Saeroyi's money-building plans are so hot. Saeroyi's awkwardness and physical motions are so adorable, especially when trying to befriend Soo Ah.
Is escaping a kidnapping really the place for a love confession? I really thought the Best Pub show was gonna be rigged. People are so extreme with their feelings, especially Geun Soo. The name Saeyori is so saerowuh.
I like that Yi Seo draws. I love Hong Suk Chun being a likeable minor character. I love seeing Yi Seo fall for Saeroyi, especially when she asks for help in the restroom. Wow Saeroyi put his hand on Yi Seo's head. I would fall too. It's actually impressive how Yi Seo sold herself to become manager. I love Yi Seo explaining clubbing to Seung Kwon. I love how Yi Seo cockblocks Soo Ah's first kiss with Saeroyi, Idk what I would've done in that situation. I love the plants in Yi Seo's office.
Everyone's morals are so stubborn, but individual. I actually love it because I relate to it a lot. My moral gray gets it. The toxicity of people who choose bad when they also don't want to. I've seen it so much. I can't with Soo Ah in the beginning disliking receiving help and people asking for help yet she becomes a sub for Jang Dae Hee.
The emotions on Saeroyi's face, amazing. Son Hyun Joo plays such a pivotal character. Why is he so ideally optimistic and casual and supportive and the dad of all dads? He also has a cute personality. Saeroyi and his dad's dynamic, unbelievable. Especially, when an orphanage is a relevant concept. Yi Seo and her mom also have an interesting relationship.
Can you believe this cast? My babies, Ahn Bo Hyun & Park Bo Gum. Kim Hye Eun, a queen as always. Son Hyun Joo, the man I've known forever. I easily recognized Kang Hyoung Suk from Hometown Cha Cha Cha. Yoo Jae Myung playing this kind of character when he's literally like Son Hyun Joo's character in Vincenzo. & then Yi Seo's mom is literally the villain in Vincenzo. Interesting to see Lee Joo Young as a transgender character.
Memorable Quotes: "청춘의 완성."

A woman loses her phone on her way back to her countryside childhood home. Once there, she connects an old landline in hopes of finding her lost mobile, only to start receiving weird calls that seem to be from 20 years ago.
On the other side of the receiver is a girl who seems to be in danger. The Call is thrilling, sometimes scary, but also brilliantly shot, and its plot is so expertly woven. It’s a proper movie-night movie.
Apollo 10½: A Space Age Childhood (2022)
Genre: Adventure, Animation, Comedy, Drama, Family, History, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Science Fiction
Actor: Bill Wise, Brian Villalobos, Buzz Aldrin, David DeLao, Glen Powell, Holt Boggs, Jack Black, Janis Joplin, Jennifer Griffin, Jessica Brynn Cohen, John F. Kennedy, Josh Wiggins, Keslee Blalock, Larry Jack Dotson, Lee Eddy, Milo Coy, Mona Lee Fultz, Neil Armstrong, Nick Stevenson, Richard Nixon, Samuel Davis, Walter Cronkite, Zachary Levi
Director: Richard Linklater
Rating: PG-13
Tumblr media
Narrated by the familiar voice of Jack Black, Apollo 10 ½ is a throwback story told with admirable specificity and imagination. Black plays a grown-up Stan, who looks back on his younger years with a mix of fondness and wonder: how did they get away with the things they did then? American suburbia in the 1960s was both loose and conservative, caught between a generation holding on to the reins of the earlier century and one eager to launch into the next.
Stan, as the youngest child of a big, rowdy family, gives us a charming look into the times, as well as a projection of his own fascination: Apollo 11 and the space age. He inserts himself in this monumental narrative and generously brings us along in his fantasy. Sometimes it’s hard to tell whether Stan’s recruitment by NASA is actually fact or fiction, but that’s part of the fun, especially since Stan himself doesn’t seem to mind at all.
They Cloned Tyrone (2023)

They Cloned Tyrone is a genre-bending gem. It combines Deep State conspiracy theories with sci-fi and social commentary, all while looking like a futuristic 1970s Blaxploitation film. It’s outrageous good fun and pleasing to look at (here is a film that knows how to properly light Black actors), but there are times when it feels too far fetched. The science can get wonky and its commentary on gentrification lacking, but all is forgiven when you have such a strong trio of leads. One of the smartest things They Cloned Tyrone does is pair Boyega with Teyonah Parris, who plays the call girl Yo-yo, and Jamie Foxx, who plays the pimp Slick Charles. They have a fun-loving no-nonsense chemistry about them that makes them easy to attach to and root for. They’re also just very funny, which might be expected of Foxx but it comes as a pleasant surprise for Parris, whose popular turns in Mad Men and WandaVision prove that she’s been severely underutilized as a comic.
Snowpiercer (2014)
Genre: Action, Drama, Mystery, Science Fiction
Actor: Adnan Haskovic, Alison Pill, Chris Evans, Clark Middleton, Dana Green, Ed Harris, Emma Levie, Ewen Bremner, Go Ah-sung, Griffin Seymour, Jamie Bell, Jim High, John Hurt, Joseph Bertót, Kendrick Roger Ong, Kenny Doughty, Ko A-sung, Ko Asung, Luke Pasqualino, Luna Sophia Bar-Cohen, Magda Weigertová, Marcanthonee Reis, Octavia Spencer, Parry Shen, Paul Lazar, Peter Hallin, Robert Russell, Sean Connor Renwick, Song Kang-ho, Stephen Park, Steve Park, Tilda Swinton, Tomáš Dianiška, Tómas Lemarquis, Tyler John Williams, Vlad Ivanov

Snowpiercer is an under-the-rader post-apocalyptic thriller that offers the grittiness that many times only Asian cinema may achieve. South Korean director Joon-ho Bong forces audiences to forget that Chris Evans was ever a Marvel superhero, as he leads a revolt of his fellow “low-class” citizens against the self-appointed gentry in a train that contains all remaining members of the planet. With immersive environments and a layered script, this film melds together social commentary and moral discourse in a visually arresting and vastly entertaining package.
Okja (2017)
Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, Science Fiction
Actor: Ahn Seo-hyun, Ahn Seong-bong, Amber Snow, An Seo Hyun, Andreas Fronk, Ann Evans, Barbara Wallace, Bettina Skye, Boyd Ferguson, Byun Hee-bong, Byun Heebong, Carl Montoya, Cho Wan-ki, Choi Hee-seo, Choi Woo-shik, Colm Hill, Cory Gruter-Andrew, Daniel Henshall, David Bloom, Devon Bostick, Eha Urbsalu, Erik De Boer, Faith Logan, Giancarlo Esposito, Han Yi-jin, J. Director Bong Joon-ho (Snowpiercer) does something quite amazing with the $50 million budget Netflix gave him: he makes a simplistic movie. But man, is it good. Okja tells the story of a “super pig” experiment that sends genetically modified pigs to top farmers around the world. In Korea, a farmer’s granddaughter forms a special relationship with one of these super pigs (Okja). When the company who originally ran the experiment want their pig back (performances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Tilda Swinton) – the two find an ally in an animal advocacy group led by Jay (Paul Dano). This is a straightforward movie, but nevertheless it is entertaining and full of thought-provoking themes and performances from an excellent cast.

My thoughts on The K-drama Prison Playbook
I had originally been looking for a K-drama like Mr. Queen but for some odd reason came across this K-drama. At first, I wasn't really into watching this series seeing that the episodes were well over an hour but once I started watching I could not stop. What made watching this K-drama even better was the fact, after watching a couple of episodes, I recognized Park Hae-soo from his role in Squid Games and Park Hyoung-soo from his role in Happiness. Prison Playbook told a story that would make me cry, laugh, and stare in disbelief during many of the episodes. The story of a baseball player going to jail due to fighting and injuring the man who would have assaulted his sister, is the type of story I wouldn't have normally watched. But once I watched the first three episodes, I was hooked. The kdrama did a great job portraying prison life, the struggles of living in and out of prison. There were many problems that, even though I wanted a happy solution, had realistic consequences and actions.
*Spoilers ahead* For instance, I wanted one Min-chul, someone who had been in prison for multiple years and was an upstanding criminal so to say, to get out on parole. He did get out on parole but later in the series. This is just one examples where the audience wants certain actions to happen but they either don’t happen in that moment or an action that was not even considered happens. I remember being so happy for Han-yang, someone who struggles with drug addiction and stayed clean for the remainder of his stay, when he was released. His boyfriend and his parents were waiting for him at a place that he agreed on meeting them at when he got out. Instead of meeting up with his parents and lover, Han-yang goes and finds his drug dealer. At first, he seemed to be resisting the urge to take any drugs and even cursed his dealer out but loses his resolve and shoots up the drugs that was provided. After that is doe, almost immediately the van he was in raided and he was cuffed again. And on the way to a police station, he passes the place that his boyfriend and parents are waiting for him.
The kdrama ends with only Je-hyuk and Jailbird getting a definite on screen end/closure. While Min-chul gets released, Captain Yoo is approved for a retrial, and Han-yang is taken back to prison, nothing else is mentioned about them and their stories. This leaves a lot up to the watcher’s imagination, which you can believe that leaves me a more than a little frustrated. I wanted a definite answer to their problems and know what happens next. I also wanted to know the Fate of Crony, who was once a thug that used to do the will of others. Once Je-hyuk has gotten Crony under control, Crony no longer used violence and was finally treated as a person. I also think about the fates of Dr. Go and Kang, who were both transferred to different jail facilities and never spoken of ever again. There were also many other people who were supporting characters but were not looked into as much but this post is long enough.
Overall, I had a blast watching Prison Playbook but also have a sense of longing for more. This is definitely a 10/10 watch and is a guarantee to have you binge watching it in no time If anyone has any kdrama recommendation, like Prison Playbook, I am all ears.

    Origine du film : Corée du Sud Réalisateur : Kim Hong-seon Scénariste : Yoo Kap-jeol Acteurs : Baek Yoon-sik, Sung Dong-il, Chun Ho-jin, Bae Jong-ok, Jo Dal-hwan, Kim Hye-in, Park Hyoung-soo, Son Jong-hak, Lee Kan-hee, Park Ji-hyun, Jo Hyun-sik Genre : Policier, Thriller Durée : 110 minutes Date de sortie : 29 novembre 2017 (Corée) Année de production : 2017 Sociétés de production : AD406 Distribué par : Next Entertainment World Titre original : Ban-deu-si Jab-neun-da / 반드시 잡는다 Notre note : ★★★★☆
“Ban-deu-si Jab-neun-da” (반드시 잡는다), ou “The Chase” pour la distribution internationale, est un thriller policier sud-coréen datant de Kim Hong-seon.
Kim Hye-in dispose d’un rôle secondaire.

가을 ORANGE POPULAR A&R DEP'T 수록곡 SIDE A No.제목노래작사작곡편곡시간녹음번호네이버 뮤직1 프롤로그# 9208-G278 노래듣기 2 마네킨 김원준 박현정 강인봉 9208-G278 노래듣기 3 아무것도 몰라 김원준 강인구 강인구 9208-G278 노래듣기 4 사랑을 위한 사랑 김원준 김주연 곽윤종 9208-G278 노래듣기 5 큰 기대, 작은 느낌 김원준 박현정 이상용 9208-G278 노래듣기 6 낯선 겨울 김원준 김주연 곽윤종 9208-G278 노래듣기 SIDE B No.제목노래작사작곡편곡시간녹음번호네이버 뮤직1 눈에 띄고 싶어 김원준 박현정 이승희 9208-G278 노래듣기 2 모두 잠든 후에 김원준 김원준 김원준 9208-G278 노래듣기 3 어둠이 길게 느껴질 때면 김원준 김원준 김원준 9208-G278 노래듣기 4 떠나가줘 제발 김원준 김종현 곽윤종 9208-G278 노래듣기 5 하지만 안녕 김원준 강인구 강인구 9208-G278 노래듣기 참여자 크레딧 Recording Engineer LEE JIN YOUNG(at SEOUL AUDIO Studio), KIM HYUNG ROAssistant Engineer PARK DONG WOOKMixing Engineer LEE JIN YOUNG(at SEOUL AUDIO Studio)Co-Mixing Engineer PARK DONG WOOK(*)Recording & Mixing DO JUNG HOI(at SEOUL Studio)Producer KANG IN BONG(for CHEIL Communication, Inc.), (*)LEE TAE YOL(for CHEIL Communication, Inc.), (#)KIM JONG HYUNProducing Director SONG MOON SANGExecutive Producer LEE SEONG KOOORANGE Coordinator CHUNG YOON SOO, HUH HEE CHUNManagement PARK JUN SUCKSales Manager CHOI BYONG GUN, WON IL SEOPEquipment and Transportation PARK HYOUNG MINTranslation LEE JEONG WOOArt Director LEE SUN JOONGDesigner CHO KYUNG AHPhotographer CHOI MIN HOAssistant HAN KYU JONGStylist JANG YOON JOO(Tama)Hair & Make-up JUNG MIN YOUNG• Arranged by LEE SEUNG HEE, KANG IN KOO, KWAK YOON JONG, KANG IN BONG• Computer Programmed by LEE SEUNG HEE, KWAK YOON JONG, KANG IN BONG• Drums : KANG IN KOO• Electric Bass Guitar : LEE TAE YOL• Electric Guitar : KANG IN BONG• Acoustic Guitar : KIM SEUNG KI• Alto Saxophone : KANG IN BONG• Additional Synthesizer : LEE SEUNG HEE, KANG IN KOO, KWAK YOON JONG, KANG IN BONG• Background Vocial : KIM BOK SOON, KIM JIN HEE, OH SEUNG WON, SEO JUNG WOOK, KIM HYUNG RO, PARK HYUNG MIN, SON HYUN SEOCK, KANG IN BONG, KWAK YOON JONG, PARK SEUNG JUN, SONG MOON SANG, LEE SEUNG HEE• KIM SEUNG KI and SEO JUNG WOOK appears Courtesy of ORANGE POPULAR 제작사 크레딧 기획 ORANGE배급 CHEIL Communication Inc.
