I came across a handful of similar blog posts about taking care of someone post-surgery, but this one was by far the most informative. Most of them were, no offense, largely complaining about how difficult the day of surgery was for them (and, no offense, often due to their own lack of understanding and preparation for surgery day. That sort of thing is what this neuroticism is all about, making sure I am not stuck in a bad situation based on things I could have avoided had I thought clearly for 7 minutes at SOME point).

This one got me seriously thinking about getting a hotel room close to the surgical site, even though we don't live extremely far away. But the drive they are describing is nearly identical to the drive we would be experiencing and they did not have a great time.

It's sort of implied Yoo Joonghyuk starts off every regression in his signature outfit already and I have. Headcanons on how that is possible.

It's explicitly stated in canon that his coat does not travel back to him when he regresses (kdj says so to sp), so the two possibilities are either he buys it as soon as possible and just does the first couple scenarios in a normal outfit (boring, unsupported by canon) or... he was already wearing the coat on the day the scenarios started. Which is what I think, and is more interesting. Since those coats already have so much narrative weight in yjh's story let me add a little more.

I think when Yoo Joonghyuk spawned into existence on the side of the road one day, he was wearing the full WoS outfit, coat included. Because, what else would the protagonist wear? This was the only outfit he was written in.

Eventually, he of course did buy normal clothes (in yoo mia side story, which happens a few years later, he wears 'an old jacket') but that coat he started off with with would have been one of the very few pieces of evidence of his supposed 'past' that he wanted to discover so badly. So even if he stopped wear it day-to-day, I think he wouldn't have gotten rid of it.

For years, A Black Infinite Dimention Space Coat hangs in his closet, totally anachronistic in a pre-scenarios world. Like Yoo Joonghyuk himself.

It's important to note that on the day the scenarios started, Yoo Joonghyuk was taking the train to meet his parents for the first time. Perhaps he felt the need to dress up, and what better way than the unusual clothing he wore on the first day he remembers? He would have finally gotten the answers he had been looking for - perhaps even to the comparatively insignificant question of why he was wearing this coat when he forgot his past.

Well, his parents house was empty, but he still gets the answer to his questions eventually, when at 7 p.m on the ride back, the scenarios start.

In a bitter irony, that outfit he chose to wear on that day would be what he wore for the next thousand regressions. But of course, it never could have happened any other way.

Heh. You know, I actually didn’t know until we’d been dating a couple months. I felt different about Shadow, of course, but that was just because we had chemistry. I think it took me a while to get there. I had to let go of some stuff.

Usual summary: everything’s a mess but Brains is a genius. Must remind him re jetpack - slightly hairy moment. Not often I’m scared for myself, but I was. I’m fine.

drawing these really made me think a lot about parenthood...

I ended up looking at many forum posts/videos/articles... research papers, and medical information(a lot of what I learned isn't making it into these comics but I am doing the work!). It's been really sweet to read parents/to-be parents talking about their partners and anticipating their babies making it out into the world, a lot of people really wish for them to be happy and safe. That was a great realization. Hope everyone can feel that same love and care.

This lady is a professional organizer (I know, I know), so naturally there is some steering towards buying her organization printables. But the info is sound for surgery of all kinds and includes some steps I haven't seen other places (including cleaning out the car).

I've been using Back To School time as a way to pick up binders, folder, etc to make a binder for stuff we may need at appointments and a way to keep paperwork handy (as well stuff for coloring books, etc), since there's so many more options and they are cheaper than if I picked stuff up randomly all across the year.

People are mourning the lack of angry or make up sex, but actually I'm glad Colin held back. In part 1, we saw how much emotional intimacy mattered to him along with physical intimacy, he longs for that connection, and he had found it with Penelope but finding out she's been hiding this big secret all along is shattering. He needs to sort through that and trust her again first.

Colin visibly still longs for her but he keeps his distance until his mind is on par with his heart (and other parts of him lol) because he knows she deserves as such. He is angry, he is upset, he is hurting, but he still loves her and she deserves better than a man who is emotionally unavailable at the moment, she deserves better than feeling like he only wants her body now. It is telling, after all, that the one instance he lets himself go outside the modiste is because Penelope just shouted "I love you". It's the emotional outburst that almost makes him throw everything out the window because, oh, how much he loves to hear those words, but he cannot say them again back to her yet. And I mean, he longs for her so much, he resorts to sleeping on the couch, just to make sure he doesn't give in but also to stay close enough in case she needs him. And he doesn't push her away though, he tells her he still wants to marry her, but he is not ready to lay together again.

Nicola and Luke kept saying it during press tour, but I cannot stress it enough, this season is romantic. It was the easy, romcom romance in part 1, and the difficult, angsty romance in part 2 as they truly learn to be fully themselves and choose to be together. And so Colin does not let his lust take over, because Penelope means too much to him. He does not want to lay together only to wake up in a cold bed and still be fighting in the morning. He wants to be hers, body and soul, fully and assuredly, and until he accepts the fact he loves her because of Whistledown and not despite since they are one and the same, then he cannot promise Penelope all of himself either.

Colin's character does truly shine through his empathy, sensitivity, earnestness and kindness, and this is just one of these instances to me.

Also happy pride month to him because this is so demisexual-coded.

I am upset we did not get more scenes of them being happy together after everything was resolved though but it's alright, we'll see them be happy in s4.... in a few years (<- coping)

Sorry, if you don't wanna reconnect why would you even mention your supposed apache or whatever ancestry. If you aren't connecting to the tribe what does it even matter. 'I find it interesting' so you're using supposed native ancestry as a fun fact to make you look more interesting? How is that different than any other 'great grandma cherokee princess' person. Especially since you apparently have time to research the history of all your ancestral cultures but you don't have time to do genealogy

And of course when I tell them 'assume the stories are fake until you've got actual proof' they block me.
