THROWBACK: @ZiggyMarley & The Melody Makers Perform On Sesame Street (1991)
How many of you remember Sesame Street? For those who do, do you remember what it was like growing up, especially in the Caribbean, watching and learning from that program? We loved our times with Big Bird, Oscar The Grouch, Ernie and Bert, Telly The Monster, Grover, and Elmo. For over 54 years, Sesame Street has been the platform that aided in the development of many children, promoted…

🗣️Eddie Munson Fic Recs
This is gonna have a sappy start before I get into the fic rec portion: but I just wanted to say that at the end of May 2022, I was finishing up my first year of law school. It was rough, challenging, lonely, and basically everything you’d expect and I was in a bad place and the fandom I’d been in was slowing down just naturally. I truly wish I could remember how I even became aware of Eddie Munson because stranger things wasn’t really on my radar anymore and whoever I followed at the time that started to veer off into Eddie-mania, thank you. In the two years since then, I’ve graduated and become the worlds babiest lawyer and I genuinely owe a lot to this fandom and community on here for giving me a fun, usually safe, creative place to escape to when it got rough.
I’m just hoping to maybe remind people that there are already an incredible, incredible amount of existing stories to read and talk about that deserve your attention and love if you’re looking to read some Eddie stories. Some of these will be fics I’ve recommended before but I’m going to try my best to pull together writers and fics that I love and think everyone should read in the hopes that someone like me who still scrolls through eddie tags looking for my nightly bedtime story can find something new to them to read! ✨
Previous Fic Rec list here!! some overlap but there’s no such thing as too much hype for these writers
@munson-blurbs I hope it’s ok but I’m linking Bug’s full masterlist here because I have genuinely loved everything she has written. There are blurbs, series, and special events which are all incredible and worth a read! Bug is currently still writing the “Living after Midnight” series which is my current obsession and features rockstar!eddie x motelheiress!reader and it’s angst and lust galore
@corroded-hellfire also sharing the Eddie Masterlist here because there’s so many fics to read!! As You Wish, Big Brown Eyes, Where the Heart Is are all incredible but truly there’s so much here to enjoy
@upsidedownwithsteve SIMMER!! jk I’m actually linking the Eddie Masterlist here too because I love them all but “I Want You To Want Me” and “Simmer” are out of this world
@pinkrelish The Yes Policy I love it, you love it, we all love it and if you haven’t caught up yet oh my god I wish I was you and could read these chapters for the first time again
@ghost-proofbaby I’ve previously told people to go read 24 Hours, and you should, that’s an order; but Maroon is ongoing! and it’s actually infiltrating my every thought so go on over and get caught up bc I think it’s safe to say things are getting amped up
@trashmouth-richie I have also previously recommended Honey, I’m Home because it’s a work of art but Ziggy has a new mini series “Crash + Fall” that I’m completely obsessed with the concept for and I’ve loved every piece so far!
@tiannasfanfic I just reblogged Conviction again but I genuinely am not exaggerating when I say I think about this story and these two monthly and try and find this story all the time to re-read it endlessly. It’s a really lovely story of unplanned pregnancy and two characters not realizing they’ve been smitten for each other the whole time and I love it
@carolmunson I’m sharing another Eddie Masterlist here because I’d be making this post far too long but Carol’s stories are all incredible, complex, and honest. “Let’s go, don’t wait” just got updated and I had to read it like 3 times last night because it was too good to just read one and done
@rebelfell I just discovered Sarah’s blog after reading the most recent “Frenemy” fic and idk what I was doing wrong to not already follow her and not have already read her whole Masterlist but I’m linking the whole thing bc she’s so good!!
@the-au-thor I also only just discovered Elle’s blog and that’s criminal but thank god I found Babysitting Mun because I am a sucker for rockstar!eddie and this series has me on the edge of my seat rn
@storiesbyrhi I’m sharing the Masterlist folks because I have genuinely loved every single story and series and I have read them all now (some several times). So many of Rhi’s stories have a wonderful warm witchy vibe that I crave and I’ve read Siouxsie and the Soulmates, The Cabin in the Woods, Our Patron Saint of the Arts, Vintage Reeboks, and Burning Yarrow (insert screaming fan gif) multiple times now
@heart-eyed-love this fic is the epitome of a soft, cozy, domestic night with Eddie and if you need a hug read this 🥹
@eddieandbird I JUST got caught up on Eddie/Tour Manager series and I’m fully obsessed and desperate to know how they’re gonna navigate this - for folks new to the story, Eddie and his tour manager accidentally drunkenly get married- what could go wrong??
@eiightysixbaby the scream I scrumped when I finished reading Princess Leia, and Other Wishes - look bffs to lovers is already my absolute weakness on this earth but then you had to make it witty and funny and FLUFFY I just can do nothing but re-read and pine
@superblysubpar I’m still obsessed with this addition to The Boy is Mine writing challenge and oh god it’s so good 😩
…and while we’re talking about it - here’s the entire The Boy is Mine masterlist with an INSANE amount of incredible stories to read
@the-unforgivenn !!! tumblr hates me and deleted this bullet (so if you already saw this post, no you didn’t) but And I Need You to Know is a proper novel! I can’t imagine how much time, love, effort, planning, and work went into creating this insane and absolutely incredible world but everyone needs to read this!! and then follow up with She’s So Cold bc I love it and I am so reader
~~ this is not the end nor an exhaustive list! I just wanted to put something out there now that I plan to build on because I know I’m always scrolling and searching for new things to read or old things to revisit ♥️ ~~

I’m gonna say this once and once only.
Some of y’all are soooo fuckin big-headed and egotistical! Y’all wanna celebrities on an app where all we’re tryna do is talk about three lil white boys and some other miscellaneous stuff that we enjoy!!
So why the fuck are y’all making blogs of groupchats? It’s for clout. Nobody else does that shit unless they tryna get some damn likes for having a groupchat in the first place.
Tumblr media
That’s like all them influencers having the damn influencer houses (Hype House, Faze, AMP, etc.) just to film and get money and clout off of it!
But the only difference between y’all and those influencers is that it’s a smart business move for the influencers— not for y’all! It’s pretty stupid and irrelevant for y’all!
If the usage of slurs is something y’all find funny enough to post as a silly goofy moment, who knows what the fuck else y’all find silly and goofy!
That’s why the apology doesn’t mean shit! Y’all justifications for it don’t mean shit! Y’all just… Don’t. Mean. Shit.
And don’t come up here being like “It’s not offensive” or “we didn’t know” or “it ain’t that deep”. Shut up. Goofy.
People can have groupchats! There’s nothing wrong with chatting to the people you feel close to or those who you wanna get close to within this fandom. However, don’t be weirdos. And don’t publicize weirdo behavior.
Have a nice day. 🧘🏾‍♀️ I ain’t giving y’all no more of the energy that y’all are absorbing from this situation. Any press is good press to some of y’all…

Any dwayne with his ‘mate’ headcannons? 👀
Dwayne and his mate HCs
Authors Note: my blog focuses on yandere stuff btw, so unless specified otherwise all the boys have yandere undertones. Please state if you don't want Yandere stuff in your request.
Tumblr media
Dwayne knew, long before he told you.
You had been hanging out with the boys for a while, and Dwayne had known since day 1.
He was subtle, finding things he thought you'd like, and taking them, leaving them at your door.
Following you home to keep you safe, beating and potentially killing people who try to get with you.
you know, a Tuesday.
Dwayne is super protective in general, over his brothers and you.
When he does tell you, or rather make you aware, he's basically a crow.
He gives you shiny rocks and pretty things.
He has to spell it out for you because you don't get it
If you accept, which you likely do, everything mentioned prior is amped up to 11
suddenly 8000x more protective.
top 10 boyfriends ever
He's a sweetheart, loving, considerate, protective.
He's deeply obsessed with you.
As mentioned in my first fanfic, Bro is a high school boy with a crush.
Follows you around.
Loves giving you rides on his bike.
Bro is the best at giving gifts.
He likes stealing your perfume/cologne, as well as your clothes, he likes smelling like you.
He calls you love, baby, darling, and so on.
He reads to you a lot. He manages to make even the most boring stories entertaining.
A huge softie.
Eventually, he has you turned so you can be with him forever.
He helps you get your first kill.
He loves you so so much, so he wants to keep you with him, and he'll help you get food.
You're his, and he's yours, forever :)

Sorry, this is massively rushed lmao, hope its good tho :3

For some people, parting with their exes was an easy and amicable thing. You’d heard about people continuing to be friends once the relationship was over and the relationship being stronger than ever as friends. But for you, it was a little difficult. Your ex was a guitarist in Repugnant, and you were the band’s stage hand.
For you, it wasn’t as simple as putting the past behind you and moving on. Not when you were still tethered to him by work. Every night you had to be there, watching from the wings as he took the stage with his swagger, shredding through the set with that unmistakable talent that first drew you in. It should’ve been easy to admire from a distance, but it wasn’t. Not when you knew what he was like offstage, how he’d smirk and brush you off as if you’d never shared anything meaningful.
The worst part was watching him with other people. The casual hook-ups, the groupies fawning over him, and how easily he fell into that role, playing the rock star stereotype to perfection. It stung, seeing him give attention to anyone but you. Sometimes he’d catch your eye across the room and give a knowing grin, as if he knew it still bothered you. He was always a bit of an arsehole like that—charming when he wanted to be, cold when he didn’t.
Working together only made things worse. You had to be professional, had to pretend like it didn’t hurt to see him living as though you’d never existed in his world. Every time you set the stage, every time you handed him a guitar or managed the lights, it was a reminder of how things had changed between you. He got to move on. You were left behind in his wake, still tied to the band, to him, in ways you couldn’t quite escape.
You weren’t the only one he acted up with, though. He had a way of getting under people’s skin, pushing buttons just for the hell of it. He’d pick fights with the crew, argue over the tiniest details—like how the amps were set up or whether the lighting was too harsh. It was never really about the work, though. It was like he thrived on chaos, needing some sort of conflict to keep him going. You’d seen it before, back when you were together, but it was easier to brush off then. You could laugh it off, make excuses for him. Now, though, it just grated on you.
And the way he treated people… It was like everyone was disposable. One night he’d be wrapped around some fan, whispering sweet nothings, making her feel like she was the centre of his universe. By morning, he’d barely remember her name, if that. You’d watch it unfold, see the hurt in their eyes when they realised he wasn’t the person they thought he was. But he’d shrug it off, like their feelings were just another casualty of the rock and roll lifestyle.
It made working with him unbearable at times. You couldn’t get away from it—the arrogance, the carelessness. And the worst part was, there was still a small part of you that remembered what it was like when he wasn’t such a prick. When it was just the two of you, before the band, before the stage lights turned him into someone you barely recognised. That was what made it so bloody difficult. You had to stand there, night after night, and watch him become everything he promised he wouldn’t be.
The lead of the band, Mary Goore, was also getting angrier and angrier with your ex. You could see it in the way he tightened his grip on his microphone stand during rehearsals, his knuckles white as he tried to keep his temper in check. Mary wasn’t one for outbursts, but there was a tension building between him and your ex that couldn’t be ignored. It wasn’t just about the usual rock star antics anymore; it was affecting the music, the shows, everything.
Your ex had always been a bit of a loose cannon, but lately, it was like he was trying to push everyone to the edge. He’d show up late, hungover or worse, and then breeze through sound checks like none of it mattered. Mary wasn’t having any of it. There were more and more moments where he’d snap mid-rehearsal, his voice tight with barely concealed frustration. “Get your shit together, dickwad, or you can fuck off,” he’d warn, but your ex never took it seriously. He’d just smirk, like it was all part of the game.
But it wasn’t a game anymore, not to Mary. The tension was bleeding into their performances, and it was starting to show. Missed cues, half-arsed solos, your ex playing up to the crowd instead of focusing on the music. You’d catch Mary shooting him glares, his patience wearing thinner with every passing day. You could tell that something was going to give, and it was only a matter of time before Mary finally snapped.
Working in that atmosphere wasn’t easy. Every rehearsal felt like walking on eggshells, waiting for the inevitable blow-up. And with you caught in the middle, it made it all the more unbearable. You couldn’t help but feel a strange sense of satisfaction when Mary called your ex out—he deserved it. But at the same time, it only made the work environment more toxic, more volatile.
You knew it couldn’t go on like this forever, but the question was, who would break first?
The answer: Mary.
It didn’t take long for him to reach his breaking point. After another long night of your ex screwing around on stage, barely caring about the performance, Mary was seething. The whole band could feel it—the weight of his frustration, simmering just beneath the surface. He’d had enough, and so had you. The tension was unbearable, and Mary, never one to let things fester, decided he was going to do something about it.
It started small, a look here, a comment there. Nothing too obvious, but enough to catch your attention. Mary had always been magnetic in his own way, his dark, brooding presence commanding every room he walked into. And now, there was something extra in the way he spoke to you—something laced with the intent to provoke.
He caught you alone one evening, just after the gig. Your ex had disappeared with some groupie, as usual, leaving you to pack up the gear. Mary strolled over, leaning against the equipment case, his eyes flicking up and down as if he was weighing his next move. “I’m gonna fuckin’ kill him one of these days,” he grumbled. “Watch this space.”
“What’s he done now?” you asked, not even looking up from your task.
Mary huffed, pushing off from the case with a forceful shove. “What hasn’t he done?” he muttered, pacing as if trying to bleed off his anger. “Shows up late, screws around during rehearsals, barely plays his parts anymore—he’s killing the band with this shit.” His eyes met yours, dark and intense, and you could see just how close he was to snapping. “And you’re still stuck cleaning up after him, aren’t you?”
You gave a small shrug, more out of resignation than anything else. “Someone has to keep things running.”
“Yeah, well, you shouldn’t be the one picking up the pieces.” He stopped pacing and stood in front of you now, close enough that you could feel the heat coming off him. There was something different in his eyes—anger, sure, but also a spark of something else. Something dangerous. “You deserve better than that prick.”
You glanced up, meeting his gaze. “It’s not like I have much of a choice, Mary. I work with him.”
He scoffed. “Yeah, well, maybe you should stop letting him get away with it. What he did to you…” His voice trailed off, his frustration palpable. “He doesn’t deserve your time, or your energy. Not after how he’s treated you.”
It was the closest Mary had ever come to acknowledging what your ex had put you through, and for a moment, the weight of his words hung between you. He wasn’t just talking about the band anymore. He was talking about everything—the late nights, the heartbreak, the way your ex flaunted his conquests in front of you like it was some kind of game.
“I know,” you said quietly, finally setting down the gear you were packing. You felt the anger rising in your chest, not just at your ex, but at yourself for letting it go on for so long. “But what can I do about it?”
Mary’s lips curled into a smirk, one that sent a shiver down your spine. “You want to get back at him, don’t you?” His voice was low, almost a growl. “I can help with that.”
You blinked, taken aback by the sudden shift in tone. “What do you mean?”
He leaned in closer, his breath hot against your ear as he whispered, “Let’s give him a taste of his own medicine. You and me, right in front of his fuckin’ window. Let him see what it feels like.”
Your heart raced, a mix of shock and excitement flooding through you. The thought was reckless, petty, and completely out of character for you. But in that moment, with Mary standing so close, the scent of his leather jacket filling your senses, you couldn’t help but be tempted. After everything your ex had put you through, didn’t he deserve a little payback?
“Are you serious?” you asked, your voice barely a whisper.
Mary pulled back slightly, his eyes locking with yours, a wicked grin spreading across his face. “Dead serious. He’s been messing with your head for too long. Time to mess with his.”
The idea was insane, but you couldn’t deny the thrill it sent through you. Maybe it was the months of pent-up frustration, the anger at your ex for treating you like you were nothing. Or maybe it was just Mary, with his commanding presence and the promise of something dangerous in his voice. Either way, you felt yourself leaning in, your heart pounding as the words slipped from your lips before you could stop them.
“Alright,” you said, a small smirk tugging at the corners of your mouth. “Let’s do it.”
Mary’s grin deepened, and he stepped back just enough to look at you, his eyes glinting with a mix of mischief and intent. “Good girl,” he murmured, his voice rough around the edges, sending a spark of heat through you. “Let’s make it worth his while.”
The idea of being that bold—of doing something so brazenly reckless—wasn’t exactly in your nature. But tonight, with Mary coaxing you into his wicked plan, the lines of caution blurred. Your ex had treated you like dirt, and there was something deeply satisfying in the thought of getting your own back. The fact that it was with Mary made it even more exhilarating.
The two of you walked together through the quiet backstreets until you reached the edge of your ex’s flat, a small, dimly lit place that seemed miles away from the noise and chaos of the gigs. His room, on the second floor, had the curtains half-drawn, and you could see the faint flicker of light from the telly inside. Perfect.
You were almost holding your breath, the thrill of what you were about to do swirling in your chest. Mary paused, glancing up at the window with a smirk. “Right there,” he murmured, his voice low and filled with anticipation. He turned to you, and in the soft light of the streetlamp, the hunger in his eyes was undeniable. “Let him watch.”
Without hesitation, Mary backed you up against the rough stone wall of the building. His body was pressed firmly against yours, the hard leather of his jacket cool against your flushed skin. His hand cupped your jaw, tilting your face up to meet his gaze, his thumb brushing over your bottom lip. You could feel the tension in his touch, the restraint he was barely holding on to.
“You ready for this?” he asked, his voice rough and deep.
You nodded, your heart pounding in your chest as the realisation of what you were about to do hit you full force. It was thrilling, intoxicating even.
Mary didn’t waste a second. He crashed his lips against yours, hard and demanding, his kiss filled with all the pent-up frustration you’d both been carrying. His hand slid down your body, gripping your waist as he pulled you even closer, his hips pressing firmly against yours. You gasped into his mouth, the heat between you growing unbearable as he dominated the kiss, his tongue teasing and tasting like he couldn’t get enough.
He broke the kiss just long enough to turn your body, pushing you against the wall so you were facing the window, your hands braced on the cold surface. “Let’s give him a good show,” he growled in your ear, his breath hot against your neck.
You were panting, the thrill of it all making you light-headed as Mary’s hands moved over your body with practised ease. His fingers hooked under the waistband of your trousers, tugging them down over your hips in one swift motion. The cool night air hit your exposed skin, and you shivered, more from anticipation than the chill.
Mary’s hand slipped between your thighs, finding you already wet, and he let out a low, satisfied chuckle. “You like this, don’t you?” he murmured, his lips brushing the shell of your ear. “Knowing he might be watching?”
You moaned softly, your breath hitching as Mary’s fingers teased you, his touch deliberate and maddeningly slow. He kept you pinned against the wall, your back arched, his body pressed tight against yours. His other hand slid under your shirt, rough fingertips tracing your skin as he worked you open with his fingers, every movement calculated to drive you wild.
“Fuck, you’re gorgeous,” he whispered, his voice dark and thick with lust. “He’s gonna hate every second of this.”
With one smooth motion, Mary unzipped his trousers, freeing himself as he positioned himself behind you. The anticipation made your pulse race, and when he finally pushed into you, the stretch and fullness was overwhelming. You gasped, your body instinctively arching back into him as he filled you completely, the intensity of it almost too much to bear.
“That’s it,” Mary grunted, his hands gripping your hips as he began to move, his thrusts slow and deliberate at first, teasing you with the friction. “Let him see what he lost.”
Each thrust was harder than the last, the sound of skin against skin filling the night air. You couldn’t think, couldn’t focus on anything but the way Mary was fucking you, hard and relentless, his hands tightening on your hips as he drove into you over and over. Your breath came in short gasps, the pleasure building with every rough snap of his hips.
You glanced up, catching sight of your ex’s window, half expecting to see him there. Whether or not he was watching, it didn’t matter anymore. This moment was yours and Mary’s, and the thought of your ex knowing—of him seeing you with someone else, with someone better—only fuelled the fire inside you.
Mary’s pace quickened, his thrusts growing more erratic as he pushed you closer to the edge. His hand slid down your front, his fingers finding your clit and rubbing in tight, precise circles. You cried out, your body tensing as the pleasure hit you all at once, wave after wave of sensation crashing through you.
Mary’s grip on you tightened as he kept up the relentless pace, his fingers expertly teasing your clit, sending jolts of pleasure through your already trembling body. You were teetering on the edge, every nerve on fire, but he wasn’t ready to let you fall just yet. He slowed down, his thrusts becoming deep and deliberate, pulling you back from the brink with a wicked chuckle.
“You don’t get to come just yet,” he growled, his voice thick with lust and control. “Not until I say so.”
You whimpered, your body aching for release, but the way Mary took charge—his hands roaming your skin, his voice in your ear—made the denial almost unbearable in the best way. He pulled out of you slowly, leaving you breathless and wanting, and you couldn’t help but whine at the loss of him.
He chuckled darkly, turning you around to face him, his eyes locked onto yours with that same predatory gleam. “We’re just getting started, love.” His lips curled into a smirk as he pushed you back against the wall, this time lifting one of your legs to wrap around his waist. The new angle had you gasping as he lined himself up again and pushed back into you, slow and torturous, making sure you felt every inch of him.
You clung to him, your nails digging into his shoulders as he set a brutal rhythm, thrusting into you hard and deep. His breath was hot against your neck as he muttered filthy praises, telling you how good you felt, how perfect you were, all while keeping a tight hold on your pleasure, not letting you tip over the edge just yet.
The rough scrape of the wall against your back, the cool night air on your heated skin, and the overwhelming sensation of Mary pounding into you—it was all too much, too good. You couldn’t help the small moans escaping your lips, the desperate sounds of someone on the verge of breaking. But still, Mary held you on the knife’s edge, his thrusts driving you insane with need.
He leaned in, his lips brushing against your ear, his voice a low, dangerous whisper. “Think he’s watching us now? Think he’s sitting there, wishing it was him instead?”
The thought sent a shiver down your spine, adding fuel to the fire already burning inside you. You couldn’t form words, couldn’t even think, only nodding as Mary kept fucking you, his pace unrelenting, his cock filling you so perfectly you felt like you were going to explode.
“Good,” Mary growled, his hand tightening on your thigh as he drove into you harder. “Let him see exactly what he’s missing.”
He pulled out suddenly, leaving you panting and desperate, the frustration of being denied release clear in your eyes. Mary smirked, clearly enjoying how wrecked you were, how much control he had over you in that moment. His hands slid down to your waist as he spun you around again, this time pushing you forward, bending you slightly over a low railing just beside the building.
“Hands on the railing,” he ordered, his voice leaving no room for argument.
You complied immediately, gripping the cool metal as Mary positioned himself behind you once more. He took his time, teasing you with the head of his cock, running it between your folds, until you were practically begging for him to take you again.
Without warning, he thrust into you hard, and you cried out, the sensation overwhelming as he filled you once again, stretching you in all the right ways. This time, his pace was relentless, each thrust driving deeper than the last, pushing you harder against the railing as he took what he wanted. The intensity of it was dizzying, and you could feel your legs shaking, the pressure inside you building to an unbearable height.
“Tell me how much you want it,” he commanded, his voice rough and low as he pounded into you. “Tell me how badly you need to come.”
You could barely speak, the words caught in your throat between gasps and moans. “Please,” you finally managed to choke out, your voice trembling. “Please, Mary, I need it… I need you.”
A satisfied growl escaped him, and his hand found your clit again, rubbing in tight circles that sent sparks of pleasure shooting through your body. “That’s my girl,” he murmured, his breath ragged. “You’re gonna come for me, aren’t you? Right where he can see you, falling apart on my cock.”
You nodded frantically, your body strung tight with need, the promise of release hanging just out of reach. Mary didn’t slow down this time, his thrusts growing more erratic, his hand working your clit until you were trembling with the effort of holding back.
Mary’s pace quickened, his grip on your hips firm and possessive as his thrusts became more erratic, driving you closer and closer to the edge. You could feel the pressure inside you building, every nerve in your body on fire as he pushed you relentlessly towards your breaking point. The intensity of it all—the feel of his body against yours, his hand working your clit, the filthy words falling from his lips—it was overwhelming, your body trembling with the effort of holding back.
Then, all at once, it hit you.
Your orgasm tore through you with a force that left you gasping, your body arching into Mary’s as waves of pleasure crashed over you. You cried out, the sound swallowed by the night air, your vision blurring as the world around you narrowed down to the feeling of Mary inside you, the unbearable ecstasy of finally letting go.
And then, as your body shook with the aftershocks, you looked up—and locked eyes with him.
Your ex stood frozen in the window, his face twisted in a mixture of shock and rage, the flickering light from the telly casting shadows over his features. For a brief, heart-stopping moment, time seemed to stand still. The thrill of being caught, of him watching you fall apart in the arms of someone else, sent one final pulse of pleasure through your already trembling body.
Mary didn’t miss a beat. He chuckled low in your ear, clearly aware of your ex’s presence, and doubled down on his pace, thrusting into you harder, his hands gripping your hips with bruising force. “Look at him,” Mary growled, his breath hot against your neck. “He’s fucking furious.”
You couldn’t look away. The satisfaction of seeing your ex so helpless, so defeated, only fuelled the fire that still burned inside you. He’d lost you, and now he knew it.
With one final, rough thrust, Mary grunted, his release tearing through him as he spilled into you, his body pressed tight against yours as he rode out his climax. He stayed there for a moment, breathing heavily, his lips brushing your ear as he whispered, “He’ll never touch you again.”
Slowly, Mary pulled out of you, leaving you panting, your body still humming with the aftermath of your orgasm. He turned you around, his eyes locking onto yours with that same dark, dangerous glint.
“Good girl,” he murmured, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “Now he knows what it’s like to lose.”
You glanced back at the window one last time. Your ex was still standing there, his expression a mix of anger and disbelief, his fists clenched at his sides. You gave him a small, defiant smile before turning back to Mary.
It didn’t matter anymore. This was your moment, your victory.
And it felt fucking amazing.

Non show watcher, Im confused, all these vague posts about an ending of th season. I know the show has changed alot alot, but did they hve siuan die durng the lanfear moraine disappearance? Because thatll be a big departure if they exclude the stilling plot. I guess since they made them active lesbians, from what ive heard, they may give the stilling/garreth bryne subplot to a different character. sorry if im misunderstanding, just the posts have been pretty vague on what actually happened just people have strong feelings apparently
Hello! Sorry for vague-blogging, I think people were trying to not spoil the ending in case anyone didn't have a chance to watch it yet but it's been a few days so I'm sure the cat is out of the bag for most people that follow the series. (this ended up being longer than I anticipated but I do love to yap and this is one of my obsessions right now!)
Anyway, to answer you question, the show ended up killing off Siuan immediately following Elaida's Tower coup. This stirred up a lot of emotions for some people and there's been some people saying that now the show should be cancelled, or the show is playing into the "kill the gays" trope, or that they are just killing off POC characters etc etc... There is definitely a less positive vibe from Tumblr after the season 3 finale than before, but I will give you my thoughts on why I thought it was a good season finale, and you can parse them as you will.
It is definitely a big departure from the books, as you said, but it seems that they are setting up at least part of Siuan's post-stilling storyline to be continued on by Leanne (it was unclear in the season finale if she was actually stilled or just shielded, but it's fairly certain that she survived). The Gareth Brynne relationship would fit in well with Leanne's post-stilling storyline from the book series, as she became more interested in men and (if I'm remembering right) ended up choosing Green as her second ajah later on. I think it would add a really good martyr aspect to the rebel Aes Sedai/Salidar crew, and having Leanne be the rallying point would fit well.
Also the writing REALLY amped up the Moiraine/Siuan relationship from "pillow friends as novices" with maybe a little more subtext in the book series, to "in a committed relationship for 20+ years" in the show, and there are many wonderful, emotional scenes in the show that solidify this. To have Siuan follow the Gareth Brynne relationship arc after building up her relationship with Moiraine for three seasons would have been weird at best, and a big slap in the face to wlw relationships at worst. Another BIG thing to keep in mind is that it was confirmed that Sophie Okonedo (Who played Siuan), had other acting opportunities that she had to move on to, and they wanted to give her a well-written exit without just disappearing the character for 1-2 seasons without explanation.
A lot of people have fears that the show is using POC and LGBT characters as cannon fodder/convenient death plot advancement, and it is not a completely unreasonable fear. Most people in their late 20s/30s can remember when TV (in America at least, I can't speak for other countries) rarely had LGBT or POC characters, and the few characters that were shown were typically portrayed as comic relief, or stereotypical trope side characters, or characters that were killed off quickly to advance the plot for the straight white main characters. The fear that your queer/POC fav is going to die randomly is pretty deeply ingrained in a lot of people, and it's hard to shake off. That being said, I don't think that is happening with Wheel of Time AT ALL. For the entirety of season 3, there have been signs that the Moiraine/Siuan relationship was not going to end happily. Moiraine's visions in Rhuidean showed that only one possible turning of the wheel among dozens/hundreds of possibilities ended with her and Siuan happy together. Scenes at the tower have been showing that Siuan's approval was slipping and that Elaida wanted revenge for being overlooked when the Amyrlin was decided. Killing Siuan when they did cemented the Moiraine/Siuan relationship as being something worth dying for in the viewers mind, and they did it in such a powerful way that it felt much more uplifting of LGBT relationships than if they had just let it fizzle out to make way for another romance plot with Siuan/Gareth.
Siuan is not the only POC/LGBT death this season either, Loial was killed in Episode 7, and Ihvon in the season 3 premier. From what I gather, Emmanuel Imani (who played Ihvon) also had other work opportunities and had to move on from the show. The Ihvon/Alanna/Maksim poly relationship was excellent to see, and I am glad that they did not shy away from the poly representation. It was a real relationship that had real ups and downs, just like any relationship, and I thought they did it justice. Loial's death was unfortunate, but I can understand it from the plot of the books why it happened. He was a good character, but his story arc did not necessarily add a lot to the main plot. That being said, Hammed Animashaun did a wonderful job portraying him and suffered through what I can only imagine as hundreds of hours of makeup and prosthetic work to create the character.
The majority of the cast are POC, and that is huge, even today. I have posted previously about, as a young teen who grew up in a 95%+ white community, I just assumed when reading the books that pretty much everyone was white. That obviously doesn't make sense, as the books have characters from every corner of the WoT universe, and the characters travel all over the world. It says right in the beginning of The Eye of The World that the other folks in Emond's Field often commenting that Rand was only one around with light skin and red hair. That being said, characters die in the series. LOTS of characters die. And to say that none of the POC characters should be dying off because we need to keep representation in the show is just plain ridiculous. The death of a character doesn't erase their narrative in the series, or erase the actor's work, and certainly not every character is going to survive in a post-apocalyptic series.
I often have this conversation with my group of friends when an example comes up: a lot of people lack emotional maturity when consuming media. The Siuan situation and how some WoT fans have responded is an excellent example of this. Siuan was a fan favorite, and the moment she died, some people reacted as if the entire series was ruined. The series that they were SO excited about just one week ago for being an excellent adaptation from their favorite book series that they have read and enjoyed for years, that they loved because of the POC representation and the LGBT romances and the likeable, relatable character..... And they are ready to burn it down because their wlw fav was killed. Threatening to review bomb the series, trashing it on social media, going as far to blame Sophie Okonedo for "ruining the series" by requesting to be written out of the show. I understand that Siuan's death hurt. She was a great character and she had a lot longer story arc in the books but.... Grow up. Not only do you look incredibly childish with these opinions, but you are also hurting the future of television networks doing large scale future productions of fan-favorite shows for fear that if they make the tiniest change, the fanbase will turn on the show. I have posted in the past about how some people hate the Elder Scrolls games because they depict rampant racism and how it "promotes racism" by doing so. But in the premise of the game setting, racism is realistic, especially in Morrowind, where they are so secluded from the empire and their ways are so different from the other provinces. That doesn't mean it's GOOD or that you should defend racism because it's present, but it's believable in the context that it is written and helps to build a fictional world and explain the characters' actions. Writing a good story doesn't mean that the author agrees with the ethics presented in the story, or wants to promote the idea that they are conveying to the reader/viewer. It is up to YOU to parse this out.
I'm sure I could probably go on at even greater lengths, but I want to end with my thoughts so far on the series as a whole. I think every season so far has been a massive improvement on the previous season, and I think it has the opportunity to get even better. The acting has improved every season, and though the story doesn't follow the books very closely, I've enjoyed it immensely. The representation of POC/LGBT folks remains excellent. The special effects are excellent. I am ABSOLUTELY biased because I have read the book series several times over the last 15 years, but it is probably the best fantasy/scifi series I have ever watched.
In conclusion, the real problem here is Amazon and their refusal to renew the show in a timely manner. Unfortunately, if Amazon continues to wait a year (or two years, or more) in between greenlighting the next season renewal, the show will suffer for it. Actors are people that need to buy food and clothing and housing just like everyone else, and while the main characters probably make a pretty decent wage for their work and could hold on a yar or two between paychecks, I doubt that the side character actors are getting paid enough money to live on for several years while waiting for the possibility of another season whenever Amazon feels like renewing. They will be forced to leave and take other positions because, unfortunately, money makes the world go round. The same goes for the hundreds of makeup/styling/setbuilding crew. Amazon needs to stop dragging their feet if they want to retain the amazing actors and the team of people who work hard to make this show a reality.
Thank you for the ask!! I really didn't expect this to get so out of hand but I did enjoy writing it out :)

Note
Just a quick comment to say as someone who thought about designing animatronics unironically during high school, it's cool to see a blog like yours exists! I feel like there's so much untapped potential with animatronics given modern advancements, yet, it seems like a bygone thing still. It's a little strange to me. I look forward to appreciating them alongside like-minded people. ✨️
Well thank you very much, friend! I also wanted to design animatronics when I was young, but I was more on the art side than the tech side. I had my own animatronic band I designed hehe!
It truly is sad that animatronics outside of major theme parks like Disney and Universal seem to be a concept of the past. Personally, I don't believe that the general public has really grown out of the concept as much as corporate bigwigs seem to believe. I think that, instead, the technology outgrew the concept, or at least what we were able to have on an everyday consumer level.
Like, for example, Chuck E Cheese, which is many people's first foray into the animatronic community. The Creative Engineering and Cyberamic bots are very much a product of their time. They're clunky, they move unnaturally, they're dated, and they were incredibly poorly maintained in most cases. A lot of kids ended up being afraid of them as they aged so poorly. And who can blame them when CEC's employees just didn't seem to care? One time, I walked into the Omaha, NE CEC and Pasqually was disconnected, and his face mask was removed and placed on the amp next to him. The kids were terrified!
CEC tried to move into the modern era back when Studio C was conceived, and the Garner Holt products are admittedly impressive, even to this day. As far as pneumatic animatronics go, they run remarkably smoothly, and they are quite realistic compared to the source material! But the bots were too expensive to justify a full cast of characters, which was the beginning of the end, in my opinion. The characters only being present on the screens essentially killed the rest of the band. No one when I was growing up knew the names of the other characters or why they were even on the screen in the first place.
And, of course, eventually the Garner Holt bots too began to wear down with age and lack of maintenance, and they got a bit scary in some cases too! Ripped face masks, heads spinning around like owls, movements going out... kids were bound to be scared of that just as much as the cyberamics and CEI bots!
Then, with changes such as the removal of the curtains, no leadup to the show starting, volume being turned down, et cetera, there was nothing that attracted the kids TO the show. It was just an underutilized asset rotting in the background because there was nothing making it a focal point. Additionally, I think the cessation of the usage of license songs as a cost-cutting measure shot CEC in the foot, since it made kids care even LESS about the show. Having recognizable songs you could sing and dance to was a draw, and taking that away made the show even more irrelevant.
To get back on the topic of tech outpacing the concept of animatronics in places like CEC, think back to the Garner Holt bots. Those guys were pretty pricey when they were first introduced, and CEC nearly went under because of the attempt to convert every store to Studio C. Imagine, if you will, a concept like CEC or similar trying to have a show with modern, even MORE advanced animatronics! It's just simply not feasible, especially not in our current turbulent economy. And CEC has shown that even when places DO have animatronics, it's a matter of upkeep, which many places aren't willing to do. Minimum wage, minimum effort, right? (Not that I disagree with that concept in the slightest)
If you look at Rainforest Cafe, even they have been cutting costs with their existing stores. My local store, the Grapevine Mills location, removed their Atlas fountain some years ago (to this day the smell of mildew makes me nostalgic because of that fountain xD), and in their place, they put a family of tigers. These tigers are SIGNIFICANTLY lower quality than the rest of the animatronics in the store. They're jerkier, they move unnaturally, their cosmetics are clearly cheap... it's more than evident that they were cobbled together with as little money spent as possible. Does this make sense in a dying chain like Rainforest Cafe? Sure. But it certainly ruins the immersion, in my opinion. In my most recent visit, the tigers weren't even operational! It was pretty sad to see.
BUT. All is not lost! With the FNAF generation starting to grow up, kids and young adults are more interested in animatronics than they have been in a long while! Maybe someday it'll be feasible for a new animatronic restaurant or store to pop up! Something like CEC or Rainforest Cafe or FAO Schwarz where you can go and watch bots perform! We can only hope, I suppose.

PAC Pick a Fruit: Something To Look Forward to in 2024 ❄🎁🎊
Tumblr media
Sup y'all, I'm finally back again! I have not been as active on this blog as I've wanted to be these past two months, but hopefully that will change a little bit as the year settles to a close for winter.
I'm also excited to use my Tarotwave deck which just arrived in the mail this past week. I'm grateful to have backed it on Kickstarter! I know this is gonna be one deck of cards I'll be very amped to use on this blog. It's like an early Xmas gift ^^
2023 has been a bumpy ride for many people (and yours truly), and the biggest thing most of us want to know is how our next year is going to be, and if there's anything good in store. So I made sure to focus on asking for only the most positive and beneficial things that will bless you in this reading, because I want 2024 to be exciting for you and I wanna hype you up.
Pick one of the squishable fruits below to find out a hint or two about what you have to look forward to in 2024.
1 - Strawberry 2 - Orange 3 - Banana
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pile 1: Strawberry
Tumblr media
Queen of Cups + VI The Lovers, IX The Hermit, Eight of Wands; Trillion, Anything is Possible, Guidance
For you, pile 1, 2024 is gonna be filled with pleasant little surprises that could appear out of nowhere. The Trillion card is connected to Aquarius and talks about living by ones own truth, but the zodiac is also connected to Uranian forces, helping us receive out-of-the-box insights to whatever challenge we're facing.
I think this pile has spent a great amount of time working on themselves. I don't know if you relate to the word "shadow work" or not, but this feels like you're in the tail end of that cycle. You've grown a lot in emotional maturity over the past months, and perhaps have released some form of major karmic or generational baggage that was weighing on you emotionally. Now it's going to become easier for you to express who you are because the extra emotional burden will not be there as before.
I'm sensing a vast expansiveness to this pile as a result, a willingness to be open to life. It's a calm and steady feeling. This is "come whatever may" energy. 2024 will be a chance for you to settle into the quiet, because that's where the miracles will appear. I feel like this is a quiet that's been anticipated, more relieving than boring. This is a space of being in the flow with life and being ready for whatever comes next without mental resistance.
For some, this could be a romantic reading. I tend to think of strawberries as a rather flirtatious fruit! And we have the Lovers here too. Typically the Lovers talks about decisions, but I don't feel here like you're in a position to be making some kind of clear cut choice at the moment. This is more emphasizing on loving the feeling of love itself. This is a carefree disposition to allowing your heart to guide you when things look overwhelming on the surface.
There's no need or pressure to rush into any kind of decision even if there's an eagerness to do so. You're being encouraged to fully take time out and explore your feelings so you can create a better alignment with the type of person you desire in your life. You're allowing yourself to be curious and open minded without the unnecessary input that others may give you unsolicited. The Hermit is in an empowered position here.
I think 2024 will give you time to lean back rather than pursue, which is not the same as being avoidant. We have the eight of wands here; when the opportunity strikes, it can strike hot! But the key is that you're taking in this energy rather than chasing it. In the meanwhile, you're filling up your cup and learning how to be fulfilled with this peaceful space, and you'll find it easier to be patient when it comes to finding whatever you've been seeking.
You're learning that you have all the time you need to stay in this calm state, and that rushing with everything doesn't always speed up fate. The sense of having more time to sleep and nurture yourself will greatly benefit you when the time comes to receive this incredible spiritual insight, love, or blessings in the material world.
Tumblr media
Pile 2: Orange
Tumblr media
XI Justice + 2 of Cups, 4 of Cups, 5 of Swords; Single, What You Seek is Seeking You, Stories
For pile 2, the biggest keyword here is Clarity. If you've been in the fog about something for a while, that may start to clear up in 2024. Something that seemed difficult to tackle before will be greatly simplified for you. The Single card is Mercury energy and talks about beginnings in a conventional sense. So you'll look forward to starting over with something next year, perhaps from scratch, so it'll be better than before. You can deal with issues with a fresher mindset.
This is a specific message for a few, but if lately you feel like you've been involved in rumors, gossip, or some form of negativity spread through word of mouth, I see this dissolving in 2024. It will swing back around. Perhaps whoever is spreading the rumor will receive one in return. No hexing done here, but it looks like karma will put in the work to show that you or someone you know is innocent. If someone you know is gaslighting or spreading lies, they will feel the brunt of this. Any negativity sent to you will simply spin around and cancel itself out. So don't worry about other peoples' perceptions in 2024, they will undergo a big shift.
For others in this pile, you may have had some disagreements with your love or even business partner. Either one large disagreement that's been on the back burner for a while, or it's little ones that add up. It'll be different amongst you. But in 2024 these tiny issues will be more easily resolved. Things won't seem to complicated to untangle once any given situation is figured out.
Your energy is spent a lot more here on moving forward and looking for something new next year than dealing with conflicting relationships. With the four of cups, you're ready to move past whatever company or crowd is messing with your mood because you know better shit is on the way and you don't want to waste your emotional currency on anything draining or inherently unsatisfying.
You would rather move into what is right for you than deal with the drama, though I think there will be times when it circles back around and you may have to confront it again… It won't be as difficult as it was in the past, however. You're not dealing with so much confrontation in 2024, especially if you're actively prioritizing healthy relationships and practice healthy boundaries with others.
This may look to be the year where the art of setting mental boundaries is perfected. Mental boundaries means choosing what you'd rather think about than let your mind run loose. No longer trapped in the undertow of other peoples' nonsense, you're starting to get your life fully together. This will spill outwards into the outer world, and this will greatly help ease off the kind of bothersome encounters with people that may have popped up in 2023.
Some of you may identify as people pleasing, which is something that I see less of for you next year. It's almost like the vibe of seeing a kid watch a bunch of other children bully each other during recess, only for that lone kid to decide to go their own way and read a book. He might even make a new friend that way, who knows? 2024 will give you the chance to shrug certain expected worries off your back like water off of duck's feathers. Citrus is clean and refreshing. You can expect only the simplest and cleanest interactions moving forward (yes, I have Simple and Clean inside my head now, oof). It's all about keeping your eye on the prize that awaits ahead.
Tumblr media
Pile 3: Banana
Tumblr media
9 of Cups + XIV Temperance, XVIII The Moon, 7 of Wands, Prism, Projections, Power
Wow, so much lunar energy in pile 3's cards! I see bananas as lunar because they're shaped like crescents (and to go bananas is to be a lunatic!). Then you got two different version of moon cards on top of one another!
In this deck, the Moon has a softer and more subtle approach than the RWS. There's a greater emphasis on dreams and intuition with this card. Have you been connected to or manifesting with the lunar cycles? Or creating a dream journal to track your visions? If you've been interested in doing so, now would be a good time to look into it, as a confirmation. You're in alignment to receive!
This pile is really feeling the buzz of desires fulfilled and is pushing beautiful energy out into 2024. I'm not seeing specific desires listed here, just the overall potency of manifestation magic. This could possibly be a big year for you even. Just try not to get too carried away with the need to make 2024 into a particular kind of good year. Even if great things are lined up, allow room for the uncertainties to occur. These moments will happen to test you, and you'll need to stand your ground and be firm with what you want without your worries getting the best of you.
Pile 3, with Projections and Power? You are gonna look forward to 2024 being like a canvas for you to paint on. You can decide to paint whatever you wish, for a window of time as brief as the full moon. That's why your other three tarot cards are trying to slow you down a little bit, lol. Even if great luck is offered to you, be careful with how it factors into your life. You're being asked to have modesty, which must mean you're set to achieve or receive something very nice. But yeah, a sense of humbleness and gratitude will really help you here.
You're being reminded with the Moon that you don't have all the answers right now, and it's okay. Oftentimes the wish doesn't get granted until we lose our attachment to it or get sidetracked with life, then it's able to come in more easily. When we try to act resistant and overly arrogant with the seven of wands, it can bite back against us.
I'm also getting a message here about being humble with your blessings so to not attract unwanted attention from people. You could end up in a position where some may throw a lot of projections on you, but you will need to remind yourself of your Prism qualities. Prism is like pure spirit, it's the card of being spiritually aligned with one's self. You will be reminded that beyond good and bad fortunes, the pure spirit of self doesn't change. That is your power source.
Another thing you may look forward to are psychic upgrades. If you've been working on your psychic talent, you could receive a major boost this year. You may experience more clairsenses or messages in your dreams. These experiences and abilities will allow you to find the right time to act or wait on certain choices in your life. give me your Sniper takes
Okay so there are two crowds of Sniper fans.
The first crowd believes him to be an anxious mess who has every mental illness. Their Sniper is awkward, insecure, depressed, touch-starved, that Sniper needs to be reassured, hyped up, defended în social situations. They often pair him up with Scout or Demo, who is a more social type - the latter, for the record, I think is a good character duo, though this is the wrong way to go about it. You'll often hear this crowd talk about "sopping wet kitten of a man" and amp up his childhood drama. În other words, they recognize that Sniper has social issues, and believe that a miserable depressed whumpee is the only natural outcome of this.
Then there's the contrarian crowd. They really dislike sad wet kitten Sniper, so they assert that no, he doesn't actually have any social anxiety or childhood trauma at all. They claim it's not in the comics (it is), they misinterpret his professionalism, they pair him up with Medic or Spy to show off how cool and macho he is in comparison. You'll hear them talk about feral Sniper, and most hardcore porn is written by them.
Then in the middle there's me, who has childhood trauma we don't talk about on this blog, and who is pretty socially anxious, yet very distinctly not a mess. I figure that there's more directions one's personality can take as a result of this baggage than is depicted in fandom. Basically, I think Sniper's issues made him kind of an asshole and that's okay.
He has insecurities, so he adopts a professional demeanor and silently judges everyone who doesn't. He's been ostracized în childhood so he doesn't have any experience in building and maintaining relationships. He's anxious so he says rude things to people and barks at them to leave him alone. He gets all tense and twitchy in a crowd and thinks it's the crowd's fault, not his own. Even when he's trying to be nice, he has so little experience and positive role models in his life that he can't help being a dick.
I call it the Raymond Clubs Theory of a Socially Awkward Shithead.
