Lore: Meeting the Father

The Master stepped quietly into the room, and Scarlett had to look up from where she was engrossed in the photos of her father. There were many and many were taken around the world. Her father didn’t look at the camera in most of them as if he didn’t know he was being photographed.

She found it rather funny. Some of the photos were from silly angles

“Child, your father is waiting for you,” the Master said, kneeling in front of Scarlett. She jumped. Her father was waiting for her? Finally?

“i can meet him?” She asked and the Master nodded. Scarlett didn’t need to be told twice. She followed the woman to another room of the house, nearly skipping as she did. She was going to meet her biological father after all this time. When she had started thinking about it, she want sure if she’d ever find him. It always seemed so difficult in the movies and there were so many things that had to happen.

Yet here she was

Her father looked almost exactly like he did in the pictures. He had short brown auburn hair with patches of blonde white. A long scar ran down the left side of his face that was a little scary. She did like the redish hair though. She was tempted to ask Mx. Artem if she could die her hair like that to match!

“Phobos,” the Master greeted. Scarlett almost giggled. That seemed like a silly name

“Why is there a child?” he asked coldly. He stared at Scarlett as if trying to decide what to make of her.

“The experiment. This is her.”

He went still. He looked like a statue

“I’m Scarlett,” she said softly, hoping to get a reaction. Phobos stared at her

“Red like blood,” he muttered. “Interesting.” He crouched to her level and cupped her face in his calloused hands. From Mx. Artem or Mr. Beau, Scarlett would have found the gesture comforting. But right now it was just cold. Every movement he made felt like little pinpricks on her skin

Phobos turned and grinned at the Master. It was terrifying

“And I may do as I please?”

“Do not break her…but yes.”

Scarlett didn’t like sound of that at all. She didn’t like how Phobos looked at her with those bright orange eyes. She didn’t like how he groped her shoulders so tightly as if to make sure she didn’t move. She didn’t like how even the Master looked frightened at this madness

“I have an appointment to keep…but enjoy yourself, Phobos.” He grinned wider if that was even possible

“Oh we will. We will.”

☆ Phobos [the blonde robot] is a former combat android who now helps out with various tasks on Solar Island. He's an extremely skilled fighter, but he's also very silly, sweet, and starry-eyed, with a bit of a sassy streak!

☆ Métis [the purble one] is a silly little shapeshifting.. creature that likes tagging along on tasks. Despite.. looking like that.. she's very friendly, curious, and imaginative. She loves being picked up, carried around, and babied, but is also very protective of her robot friends!
