Good morning, friends. 🌸 🌸🌸

It just occurred to me that this is a four-day weekend for a lot of people in the US. Tomorrow is the 4th of July, Independence Day, which is a national holiday. Today is not a holiday but many people will take the day off if they can.

Tomorrow night there will be fireworks, it's already started, I heard some last light. Ben and Charlie don't particularly care for fireworks. My biggest irritant is that I usually end up picking up spent bottle rockets that I find in my yard. Hmmm … I've turned into such a dull homebody, almost a recluse just waiting for the opportunity to say "get off my lawn." It is the way. 😂

Next weekend we embark on a cruise which means crowds. We're traveling with my wife's sisters. I'll be the sober guy with the big camera. More to follow …
